A cool little spot located inside of Crossroads Mall. We got the El Duce Burger and The Jake Chicken strip combo. Both were fantastic. The chicken was crunchy and tender and the wagyu beef patties were perfectly smashed and grilled. And the fries, let me tell you about the fries. Crunchy, fluffy interior, and the perfect balance of salt, Maillard browness, and oil. Massive portion sizes as well so definitely come hungry. Highly reccomended.

Awesome Burgers! Wagyu beef double deckers you need to eat with two hands. I went the first day and tried the signature viscous burger and it was lit! Jalapenos and all. Great parmesan fries. Dreamt about the Il Duce and I went back the following day. Crispy onions and avocado toppings with that beef....speechless. I will be back again on my next visit to San Antonio! It's the bottom level of the World derland Mall.

Omg this chicken burger was 🔥🔥 and I upgraded to the sweet potato fries, and they didn't even need the sauce. They stood on their own. I'm not usually a burger or chicken sandwich type of chick, but the flavor, texture combo, and soft brioche bun will have me coming back for more. Okay... I was blown away by this cheeseburger. Not only is it a lot of food but it's made with love. You can tell they take pride in their business because so much thought and love goes into each meal they cook up. Yes it is a little pricey but the quality and quantity of the food is well worth the price. The lovely people taking your order are extremely friendly with a lot of energy. I highly recommend! The meat is cooked and seasoned to perfection. Nice crispy edges and tender center. Even though we ordered the smashed burgers the size is rather thick. The homemade pickles are tasty sour. Home cut fries are thick and firm. They aren't greasy or limp. Perfection! Their sauce is a little sweet but at the same time a perfect compliment to all the flavors. I give this place a standing ovation! Total before tip: $39 Two orders of burger that come with fries one substituted for tater tots. 2 Mexican cokes.

WOW!! DO NOT WALK...RUN TO EAT HERE!!! This is probably the best burger I've ever had in the city, maybe my whole life! The flavors explode in your mouth and I was having an out of body experience eating this burger. I normally will eat just to finish but I genuinely wanted to savor this burger as long as possible! If you're an investor looking to take a restaurant national place your money here!! Everyone needs to experience this!! Great job Vicious Eats!! Oh LOVE the punk/goth vibe!!!

I stopped by for lunch, and wow—they absolutely blew me away! The smashed Wagyu burger was hands down the juiciest, most flavorful burger I’ve ever had. Every bite was pure perfection, and the hand-cut fries were the ideal crispy, golden complement. This place is a total hidden gem in SA, and I’m so glad I discovered it. An unforgettable meal—I’ll definitely be back!

Flavor: A+ Service: A Tea: F Solo dining: A The trail took us into the food court of the Wonderland mall this week and what a wonder it was. I got the “Vicious Burger” (presumably their showcaser if it’s named after the establishment itself) and it satisfied every burger-loving bone of my being. The two very thin smash burger patties were complemented by incredible pimento cheese and sweet candied bacon. All big on flavor, perfectly cooked, and well put together in a juicy masterpiece on a homemade bun. A rare A+. Few burgers I’ve had rival this one. Someone needs to give these folks a small business loan so they can get another location. Not in a food court. If they can make it in a mall in 2025, surely they can make it anywhere. The crinkle cut fries were as just right as baby bear’s bed. And the sauce that I assume came with the burger was what I used for the fries because the burger needed nothing else. I mean it. Nothing else. The drink selection is super limited but next time I’ll get a beverage at another nearby food court eatery and share the investment of keeping the food court alive. I did have to wait about 15 minutes for my burger but - trust me - there’s plenty to look at while you wait. Or maybe you’ll want to shop for something at a store you’ve never heard of. As much as I didn’t want to venture into a mall, I couldn’t be more glad I read about this place and included it on the trail. My smashburger journey started with Buffalo wild wings! They make a pretty decent few smashburgers (love the bacon smashed hatch Chile burger) and it made me switch from the traditional thick burger to smashed. Smash'd on Grayson has a great amount of smashed burgers and options (wake and bacon smashed is my favorite with a spicy sweet jam) and a bar. Really good, and I was not sure it got better. I had Pumpers and it was really good, but I still preferred Smash'd. That was until I tried Last Place Burgers (Cheesey jalapeño double smashed) outside a brewery. Became my favorite for the burger itself, with limited options. Liked smashd for variety and this one for the traditional or cheesey. Today, I tried the Vicious burger at Vicious Eats and it absolutely floored me! The burger quality easily matched the quality of Last Place burger with great lacing, great flavor, great crisp, etc. But the toppings also added much to this burger! The bun reminded my of Bunz burgers and was amazing, decent size to hold most of the burger and sauce, but also light and fluffy. The pickles were fresh and striking, along with the fresh jalapeños, and lettuce and tomato. The sauce reminded me of a spicy, tastier version of say a big Mac sauce and the bacon was crispy and flavorful. Ate every single bite, and had a piece of burger and bacon fall out and both even by themselves were top tier. Fries were great with a dipping sauce from the burger as well, had an almost parmesean type flavor and were thick, but also crisp. Smashd is a 8.8 out of 10 for me, last place burgers is a 9.3, and this has to hold 10/10 as it has been my favorite burger ever

Cool spot, the quality of the food was amazing! A big sloppy burger that seemed to come right out of a food network TV show. I mean sloppy in a good way, not a lazy way, the kind of burger that actually matches the pictures! This is not one of those depressed burgers that you feel cheated when you see it. The burger combo was a bit pricey (I paid $18 for their most expensive burger), but it could easily feed 2 people that were on a date. I should have taken a photo for it, but I am planning on returning with the family and will do so then. Definitely worth a try, especially if you're a burger aficionado or consider yourself a foodie. If you've ever been talking with friends/family and said something to the effect of, "I got this spot that I been hearing good things about." Then you should certainly give this place a shot!

I'm sure their food truck is much quicker getting the food out. Expect to wait 20-25 minutes, which they'll let you know in advance. We had the time, so the wait was fine. The food...ummm...good; but not great. I personally think it's overhyped...not "crazy good". I had them add the Serrano Creme Fraiche to my Vicious Burger thinking it would add some heat; but I didn't even notice it. This would be good for after a night of drinking.

The chicken tenders were surprisingly huge, though the batter was a bit too salty for my taste. My daughter still enjoyed it. Overall, not a bad place and I’d definitely try other items on the menu.

I ordered the Pistol Popper and it was very flavorful—looked a little greasy, but that’s what made it good. The chicken tenders were surprisingly huge, though the batter was a bit too salty for my taste. My daughter still enjoyed it. Overall, not a bad place and I’d definitely try other items on the menu.
