Uno de los mejores bares de barrio de la zona de la Barceloneta, lo mejor el trato al cliente y la magnífica relación calidad precio. Conviene dejarse aconsejar. Si se quieren caprichos, mejor contactar y reservar lo que se desea comer.

En mi opinión, Cal Chusco es una de esas opciones seguras y con mucho encanto para comer en la Barceloneta, y además es muy fácil de localizar sin miedo a perderse. Lo que más me convence es que, según las opiniones de otros comensales, tiene una carta muy amplia, ideal si te apetece probar otras especialidades de la cocina española. Los precios me parecen bastante razonables, no es un sitio caro y la relación calidad-precio del servicio y la comida merece mucho la pena. Un detalle práctico es que aceptan tickets restaurante. Eso sí, debido a su popularidad, es un lugar que se llena con facilidad, principalmente de familias por lo acogedor de su ambiente, así que yo siempre recomendaría reservar mesa con antelación para evitar esperas.

La comida deliciosa, las bravas, tapeo, la paella todo…exquisito. Soy de Alicante y las veces que llego a Barcelona no dudo en llegar al Chusco, se extraña mucho la comida, muy casero se nota el amor y esfuerzo. La atención de la camarera excelente, siempre con una sonrisa 10/10.

Hemos comido de lujo hacia mucho tiempo que tenía ganas de unas bravas caseras buenas buenas 😁 y me han dejado con ganas de más, la paella 🥘 de marisco super deliciosa, jugosa me ha encantado, repetiremos y probaremos más cosas de la carta. Ha salido todo muy rápido, las camareras atentas en todo momento, la atención 10/10 no ha faltado nada. Soy de Alicante y seguro que volveré

You seemed so busy receiving congratulations from everyone else, so I practiced because I really wanted to say it to you face to face, but I couldn’t manage to. The food was, of course, delicious! Sought this place out baaed on reviews as wanted to bring the kids to a traditional tapas bar. Ate about 1pm on a Wednesday and were lucky to grab the last table - it is a small place with about 8 tables. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food is fantastic and comes out quickly and is piping hot. The croquettes and chicken wings were our favourite dishes. Looking around the room, some of the mains looked absolutely incredible! Well worth popping in.

The best place in Barcelona where we were. Normally we go only in places with 4+ reviews, so Bar Cal Chusco was one of such places. At first I was pretty sceptical, because the place is small and was fully booked, but we decided to wait for a free table. And this was our best decision. The place is not big, but very authentic and has its atmosphere of Spain and Barcelona. From what we understood its a family business that is why this place become more unique. When we were there owners of the bar were hosting their friends, so there were lots of talks, laughs between them, and because of this we had so wonderful time. We were watching the real Barcelona with their people. Staff is very polite and friendly. They will help you with everything. The food. It is one of the best meals in our life. We ordered paella with lobster and we did not regret. We spent around 40-50 euro there for paella and fantas. Now we want to come back to Barcelona because of this place. Highly recommended ❤️ P.s. don’t forget to order small cup of coffee after your lunch. It was perfect. (On the photo is a small part of paella that we had) Thank you a lot for such place!

Small restaurant with only 6 tables, run by a local family. I can say only superlatives about the food. We ordered octopus tapas Galician style, it was served with potato. PERFECT both in flavors, in cooking style and in quantity. The main dish was Mixed Paella. If I had to eat the same meal till the end of my life, I'd choose this one. The rice, the small saucages, the seafood is so delicious words cannot describe. 6 stars out of 5!

The food was great! It didn't look inviting from the outside but if you go in the super nice waiters will welcome you. It's very small we were lucky to get a table. We got seafood paella it was very fresh and really nice! I loved the bombas! The Sangria was also great with the paella! We ordered too much and it was no problem to get the rest to go. Would come again this is truly an amazing restaurant and an awesome experience.

typical bar, small location but absolutely LOVELY. everything in there seemed to have an history. the ladies were all super nice to us. you have to wait a bit for the paella but you will enjoy it so much. a lot of fish inside.

Really good service and food. We had grilled sardines, Russian salad, meat bombs, mixed paeilla, and potato bravas. Everything was fingerlicking good. We all loved food, and service. Felt like being at home. Would definitely visit them again.

Went with a friend who lives in the Barceloneta neighborhood. They said this is their favorite place and boy did it deliver. We had the fideuá with alioli and some fried little fish and some. Padron peppers. A super refreshing white wine and we had a perfect long lunch together capped off by a tasty cheesecake.

Loved it. Food was great... so fresh and well prepared(see pics). The Sangria was delicious and refreshing. Our server, Patricia, was wonderful, so helpful and pleasant. Great Barceloneta location, away from the crowds yet close to the beach. Very authentic experience. We will be back. I will try to make reservations next time as seating is limited, and I feel we were lucky to get a table.(Again....Patricia helped us get seated) So glad we wandered in.

No está mal la experiencia, pero podría ser mejorable. Las almejas tenían un sabor bastante fuerte al mar. Las bombas no estaban mal, pero las esperábamos un poco más grandes, que por el tamaño no se saborea tanto. La esqeixada un poco sosa, el pescado estaba un poco sobre repasado por el agua para mi sabor. El lugar es pequeño, con el interior bastante a la antigua. Acogedor, pero le falta un poco de aire. Y la atención de la camarera no era muy amable.

No le teníamos fé,pero nos dejó con la boca cerrada y más confianza por qué la dueña del lugar estaba allí presente tejiendo,muy amable la señora y la chica que nos atendió que paella tan rica,volvería cuando esté de paso en Barcelona

Si quieres el bucket de cervezas te lo tienes que tomar en la calle, ambiente de la Barceloneta. Algo caro para lo que es.

Grata sorpresa! Pase por la puerta y entre. Pedimos paella y sorprendentemente muy rica. Nos atendieron la encargada que creo es de Ecuador y su hija, son un encanto ambas. El verdejo también estaba muy bueno. Volveré!

A hidden gem close to the Barceloneta beach. It’s a pretty small place so you’d might have to wait. The people who served us were super warm, friendly but extremely busy. We had a seafood paella to share as well as potatoes and sangria. The paella was a little too salty for our liking. The rest were yummy.

Wow This is what you would call a hidden jewel 💎, Paella was Great and it was in the big side, we actually date to order appetizers, I got the púlpitos ( baby octopus 🐙), plus the tortilla. They were rally good. I recommend this place if you would Like to taste authentic Spanish food. The busy times are from 6:00 to 8:00. It’s a small place but that doesn’t mean they don’t have great food. Come and enjoy 😉

Saw this tapas and bar and stopped because they had the euros 2024 on. The place is small with non descript decor. Nothing much to talk about except they had a tv. We ordered several yummy tapas dishes but didn’t get to finish because the owners shooed us off. They were closing at 10 pm - which we didn’t realize so we hastily got the rest of the food to go.

Pedimos jarra y caña en una mesa y nos dicen que la medida es la misma, vemos después que si hay cañas. Pedimos unas gambas y la tapa que acompañada la cerveza, nos dicen que en la mesa no entra la tapa. Nada empáticos. Por cierto el servicio sucio y sin papel.
