Clean, very good bathroom, very comfortable beds. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Great location in Barnet

Really good food and excellent helpful service. Good selection of fish and seafood in particular plus meat dishes. Tables are well spaced apart. Good atmosphere too. We had starters and main courses plus extra vegetables, a tomato juice, a gin and tonic and a large glass of really nice white wine plus 2 coffees. Was around £105.00 + service. Not cheap for a local restaurant but we enjoyed every bite of our main courses, my starter of scallops was excellent. The minestrone my friend has lacked seasoning. Will definitely go again.

Absolutely gorgeous weekend, couldn't have asked for better! Beautiful food, matched with lovely wine and an amazing dessert. My waiter, Danial, was very helpful, attentive and ensured I had a wonderful experience. The room was pristine and very comfortable – all around a big thank you for making my visit to Barnet very memorable :)

Have eaten in this restaurant a few times always been great. Haven’t been for 4 or 5 years. Visited on Sunday for Sunday set lunch. I didn’t realise they did the traditional roast beef chicken or lamb along with fish dishes. £22.95 for 2 courses. Starters we all had prawn cocktail nicest one almost ever eaten very generous portion size packed with prawns. Roast Beef was delicious potatoes light crispy and fluffy very good horseradish in fact I think it’s the best roast dinner for miles around. Service great. Very impressed why haven’t I come more often I ask myself. Will be back.

Took the family for set lunch. Service; excellent, unrushed. Food v good quality. Was braced for a large bill, but they didn't charge for either of the two sets of bread rolls, with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, or the lovely olives. They let us stay for ages too. Thoroughly recommended.

This is the place to get your Sunday lunch folks! Went there last Sunday to mark my wife's birthday and was not disappointed. Service was very good, set lunch menu was great and most of us went for the roast sirloin of beef. Price reasonable too! I can't comment on the hotel rooms but this is a great lunch and dinner spot. These owners know a thing or two about the hospitality trade.

I've never eaten in the restaurant, but I've stayed at the hotel a couple of times. The rooms and en suite bathrooms are spotlessly clean and with comfy beds and good TV. They even remake your bed and clean the room after your first night even if you're only staying for two nights, which is quite unusual. The location is unique; I'm not aware of any other rooms available on or near Barnet High Street.

This is my wife's favourite restaurant. It is not cheap but is value for money. The staff are lovely and very attentive. The wines are a good price and not overpriced for a restaurant. Parking is really simple. If you can't park on the road in front there is a lot of parking at the rear. It has a car park but I find it difficult to get in and out of.

We had a wonderfully relaxed family lunch here today. The service is impeccable and the food fresh, delicious and nicely presented. There is a lot of choice on the menu and you can order from the set menu or à la carte. This restaurant is a firm favourite whenever I come over to visit from Switzerland.

The most exquisite restaurant in an old part of Hadley, surrounded by old cottages. The food was amazing, beautifully presented. The starter salads contained food of many colours, the sunday roast was superb and the seasonal rhubarb creme brulee was the creamiest ever. Our waiter, Florin, was very attentive and a delight. This is fine dining at its best but without travelling in to town.

It was my first time in this place. Absolutely fantastic. It is hard to guess that such lovely place is hidden 30m from main, busy road. I will come back here with pleasure. Cosy but spacious. Delicious quisine, not bad choice of wine.

Lovely place. Excellent service. Stayed two nights and we were looked after. Breakfast is lovely and we ate in the restaurant on the first night the food is lovely. Will definitely book again.

I stayed here with my boyfriend & it was a very pleasant stay. The room was clean, the bed comfortable & the 2 ladies who worked there were very helpful. We will definitely stay here again.

Thank you Dino for your hospitality and patience. My husband and I stayed at Savoro on New Years eve as we were going to a party 5mins away and didn't want the long drive home after the party. We got lost on the way to Savoro and were late to check in, Dino patiently waited and even sent us directions. When we arrived we were greeted with a warm welcome and smile. The room/ensuite bathroom were lovely, very clean, and spacious. The other bonus was free guest parking. Dino organised for all the guests to have a late check out which was perfect after a late night out. Breakfast in the modern chic Savoro restaurant was included, my eggs were just how I like them done. I would stay here again and recommend Savoro for it's rooms and host Dino. If I'm in the area again, I might even book a table for dinner. By the way Savoro was recommended to me by a friend whose sister stayed there in earlier in 2017. JM

I didn’t stay - but had dinner at the restaurant I can’t fault it, was a lovely experience Food was good, service was good, atmosphere was relaxed. I suppose it depends what you’re looking for, it’s not a loud flashy restaurant that you might find in the west end, but it’s definitely high quality and I’ll be back again

We recently had our Engagement dinner at Savorro Restaurant and we couldn't have been happier. Dino was patient and accommodating throughout the whole process even when we made last minute changes. The food was delicious, and was served to all 66 guests at the same time. Everyone loved the menu that we chose - Calamari, Lamb & Creme Brulee. The pricing was really reasonable for the service and food that we received. I will not only be recommending Savorro restaurant but I will be recommending that you deal with Dino when arranging your event. He made it really enjoyable for me and as an added bonus, the coffee is delicious. Thanks again Dino and all the team at Savorro for making our evening so great. Chris & Maria xx

Amazing staff,amazing food. My friend and I walked in and was very lucky to have a table for 2. Generally speaking this lovely restaurant always requires booking. Simply the best in Barnet.

Restaurant only: Nice quaint location wouldn't have known it was there if not invited to go. So, let's get straight on to it. The beer was nice and cold. My starter was the squid (small serving as pictured) was nice although the sauces read to have a kick in them, didn't really notice. As for the mains I had the 16oz or was it 12oz Ribeye (asked for rare, but more like medium rare - but not an issue), and nine stacked chips like Jenga. Nine chips, give me 15 at least!!! Ok, they were good chips crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, but 9 chips!!! Overall worth a visit.

Had Sunday lunch. Food was excellent, roast beef and roast lamb were both excellent. Food service was good, but bar was quite slow. A little expensive fofrthe menu, considering the hygiene rating only 4 out of 5. Not what I would expect from this type of place.

Came for Sunday lunch, generous portions and plenty of options for all courses off the set menu. Ingredients fresh and vibrant across the board eloquently presented. Only a couple negatives, the roast chicken breast was a bit over done, took a good 5 mins to make eye contact with a waiter to ask for more gravy which was of a different flavour and more watery consistency from the initial serving. The Yorkshire's probably weren't the chef's best batch on the day either

Very positively surprised. Great breakfast. Very friendly service. Room clean and contemporary with all necessary items. Friendly staff and a good location round up the picture. Only small complaint is the bathroom...no hooks or possibility to place your clothes while taking a shower or bath

Bedroom comfortable and clean. Bathroom warm and bright. Cooked breakfast on the first day was expectional. Because the restaurant was full standard slipped. But on the whole I would recommend staying again. As the customer service was excellent.

lovely large bedroom with decent sized bathroom, both immaculate. Hotel was back from the high street so was quite quiet, although one morning was awoken by bins being removed, but that was not the fault of the hotel. Breakfast was delicious. I enjoyed my stay and all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

I can't comment on the restaurant, it is closed on Mondays, however I was booked into one of the rooms above. Clean, well presented double room. All the usual tea and coffee facilities. Shower and bath, steaming hot water and just a couple of minutes walk to high street for a meal. Will use again, hopefully not on a Monday as menu looks good.

Rooms are comfortable not sound proof or 5 star, like top of the range in room appliances, it also depends on the room you're given, there's no air con and most room are heated by radiator, however beds are comfortable. Restaurant is a nice place to eat, however for the price increase in other hotels this is reasonably priced, High barnet does have access to central but as its on the outskirts of London you will have to travel, as its the last stop of the underground. However high barnet is a low stressful area. There isn't a huge amount to high barnet apart from cafés, pubs,bakerys and charity shops so don't expect a huge amount of entertainment near by.

Although rooms are small but everything you need is ready, and there are lots of shops and supermarket nearby that you can have all sort of things you want, restaurant down stairs provides very good food. But if there are parties, it is a bit noisy.

Nicely appointed rooms. Standard room a little on the small side but clean and has everything you need. Quiet as well - restaurant was closed when we stayed. If you need a room in the middle of Barnet then this is the place.

Went here for the evening with my wife tonight to converse & enjoy each others company. Beautiful food superb service & nice setting. As is always there is a but... ......... a party of 6 wanna be 20 something A listers was plotted up in the middle of the restaurant who decided to make their voices heard above everyone else. Totally took the edge off evening. I did ask a member of staff to speak to them but they didnt. Eventually another diner told them about their behaviour & they quelled the noise How selfish are some people eh !

The staff were friendly and helpful at the Savoro. And the food at The restaurant was nice. Onto our family room, it was clean and tidy and the Furniture was a little dated. Unfortunately this was not the worst thing about the room. The mattresses on all the beds are of a low quality and are very soft. You can feal each individual spring and its location within the mattress. This led to myself and my family not having a very good night's sleep. There is not a fan in the bathroom as a result of this there is mold growing above the shower. I would go back for food. But I wouldn't stay there again.

Service good. But what really lets the hotel down is the beds. Truly awful sleeping experience. Lumpy mattress with large sagging areas that you can literally fall down. I assume the management has never slept a night in the beds.

Stayed in room 14. Floors obviously hadn't been swept as they were very dusty and having other people's hair stuck to your feet is pretty gross. Cobwebs and dust over some of the windows,furniture that had definitely seen better days and a very grey looking shower tray that probably needs replacing. On the plus side the bed linen was clean. If all the rooms are like no.14 then I suggest they refurbish or maybe just leave it to Premier Inn.

Food was not hot. My sister ordererd steak. It wasn't cooked as requested, when it was sent back it was burnt and chewy. Portion size was tiny. I ordered ravioli and only had 3 pieces in my dish. I left hungry.

Found out, there no Breakfast included and just trying to get to bed and there is plenty of noise, people going up stairs and arguing.you can hear water running quite loudly. Hopefully we get some sort of sleep, no view at all. There's roadworks so your diverted before you get into car park.

What a disappointing and embarrassing experience! Having dined here several times, we rightly thought it would be the perfect place to take our friends to for a Saturday night dinner. The service let us down from the very start. -Although just a few of us ordered starters, everyone’s starters cutlery were taken away immediately. -When our friend asked for the vegan risotto option (clearly mentioned on the menu) the answer from the waitress was “ it’s already vegetarian”. We were all shocked at the rudeness of her answer, which speaks for itself, let alone the ignorance of the usually unhappy waiting lady who, on a previous dining occasion served us a mushroom risotto, when we had asked for a paella. She clearly does need an in depth customer service training. - Starters were served together with the main courses (which is against all rules unless the patron asks for it), let alone the fact that all starters cutlery was taken away and we had to use the same cutlery for starters and mains. - Tartare sauce was at first only offered to one of us, leaving us all questioning why the waiter had disappeared with the sauce with no explanation after serving or friend. - The fish and chips, charted at £26 each,was worth less than half of that. The fish was tough and the portion size less than acceptable from such an establishment. It is with our biggest regret that we shall not visit nor recommend Savoro ever again after such an appalling service and experience. The whole experience was a shambles and

This visit was really disappointing. We'd been looking forward to it, because it has been difficult to get in to. But what a let down this time. It started poor and then went downhill. The requested olive oil never arrived ( I don't eat much butter anymore) The food was full of problems and the service wasn't great. The liver parfait tasted mostly of peppercorns, and the accompanying pickled mushrooms tasted of pickle, not mushroom. I am suspicious that these items are bought in,. They didn't seem like the restaurant produced items I've had at other good restaurants. The duck salad had soggy croutons, they'd soaked up the dressing, so had not been fried properly. The cod had a soggy batter, with a pool of grease coming out at the first cut. The lamb had to be sent back because of a hair on it. They said it was from the basting brush, but it should not have got out of the kitchen whatever it was. The apology was muted at best. More of an excuse. I ate my fish while my wife watched and waited for her replacement. That came with hard undercooked fondant potato: Which was inedible. By then I'd finished my fish ( the chips were nice), so then my wife ate while I had my turn to sit and watch. No one inquired whether we'd enjoyed our meal. No one seemed to care. No one offered to take the lamb off the bill, or even offer a free drink while we were waiting. This is so much poorer than any of our previous visits. It will almost certainly be our last.

Stayed in room 3 avoid at all costs. Road noise is horrific, it woke me up a 2.30 and I could not get back to sleep. Someone got up at 3.30 and because all the floors are wooden or laminate the noise is terrible and when they had finally flushed the toilet, the noise came through the plumbing on my bathroom. The blind on the window would not not close as there was no curtains, which meant that the lighting from the car showroom lit the bedroom for the whole night. This is an example of a very good restaurant with excellent food trying to provide hotel services.....with no understanding of the essentials such as a good nights sleep, as 4 hours is not enough. Will never stay there again. Fit some carpets, accoustic glazing and sort out the plumbing and I might be tempted but at £90 per night!!!!!
