An absolute delight! Venue is sprawling and so cute. Menu is full of choices all of which I want to try. I got a small get figgy with it pizza and my husband got the buffalo chicken pizza. He got wings which were ok. They weren't fried long enough to crisp the skin and they needed to be adequately tossed in the buffalo sauce. The house salad was very good. The ranch dressing was not as it was thin and runny. The Server was very attentive as was the whole staff. We enjoyed everything and plan on coming back! Oh, parking is tight so just be aware.

Love this place!! Pizzas are great, beers too, and they're dog friendly. Great outdoor patio overlooking the park trail below, right next to the Colorado River. They have a stage, but we always visit on off peak days like Monday or Tuesday, I'm sure music is on weekends. Staff is always friendly and welcoming, with good reccomendations! Its worth the drive from Elgin to us.

Rumor has it that when elves clock out, they don’t just quietly head back to the North Pole. 👀 After hours, somewhere between “holiday miracle” and “don’t tell Santa,” this one took a hard left into Neighbor’s Kitchen & Yard and ordered a Grinchmas Margarita — strictly for morale. 🍸 Bright green, festive, and genuinely very good, this is not a “cute holiday drink,” it’s a problematically enjoyable one. The kind that sends an elf home feeling bold enough to turn the tree lights back on, reorganize the ornaments by vibe, and start wrapping gifts at 10:47pm with far too much confidence. 🎄🍸 Suddenly cocoa is being reheated, cookies are being “quality-checked,” 🍪 and big promises are being made about being extra nice tomorrow. Had such a beautiful experience dining with Ace as my afternoon server. His recommendations were spot on, and he went the extra mile to make sure my good boy had a generous chicken bowl + ice water too (he loved it)! Thank you Ace!! It can sometimes feel rare in this world to find service with true care & connection, and Neighbor’s delivers 1,000%. Both Ace & manager, Casey, chatted with me quite generously to help answer questions I had on the Bastrop area. Of course everything on the Neighbor’s menu scratches that home cooked fix — you can feel the food is prepared with genuine love! (Priceless) This place is the cornerstone of the Bastrop food, drinks & vibes scene. (Looking forward to returning for live music!) I can’t imagine this town without it. Such a great spot! The patio vibe was awesome and everything we tried was so good. We ordered two pizzas — the ‘Gettin Figgy Wit It’ and the ‘El Camino Real’ — both were delicious! The ‘Artichoke Comeback Dip’ was amazing too with a nice little spicy kick 🌶️ Definitely a place we’ll be coming back to!

This place has it all. Good pizza? Check. Fun beer? Check. Ambiance and live music? Check. Check. My server was also incredibly friendly and attentive. The dessert was insanely good as well. Lots of outdoor seating. A fun restaurant to hang out, for sure.

Stopped by on our way in to Houston and the food was amazing! Service was awesome, we sat on the patio and enjoyed the nice cool breeze and a pizza. In the future I’d order the pizza extra crispy, it’s thin so the middle was a little soggy after a while. The fried brussels sprouts were super good and crispy, I don’t like spicy at all and the honey habanero sauce was not spicy at all, just a nice flavor to compliment the Brussels. My husband got the wings and said they were great! We will definitely be stopping here from now on when we travel to/from Houston. I would imagine parking could be hard to find if it was a busy time, we went on a Sunday at 11am and found parking easily.

I tried this place that was recommended by a coworker. I went after some training we had before heading back home. The outdoor seating is nice and there’s an extended part around the corner downstairs that you can see the river better. After reviewing the menu I decided to choose a small entree because I wanted to give one of the desserts a try. I chose the El Camino but without onions. The service was good and food came out quick. It came out hot and fresh and was almost too much for me to try a dessert but the cobbler option for the day was apple. I ordered the cobbler with ice cream and it was a bit bigger than I expected. It’s definitely shareable for at least 2 ppl. The cobbler was good but it was missing something. I’d go back to this place and try another dessert. I wouldn’t mind going later in the evening when the sun goes down. I’m sure it makes the atmosphere better! I’d recommend this place if you’re passing through Bastrop.

We took a little day trip drive to Bastrop today and ate at Neighbor’s after visiting the bookstore on Main St. We came at around 11am on a Saturday, shortly after they opened and there were plenty of patio tables available. It did start to fill up as we ate, but even at noon, there were still open tables. They have tons of mister fans set up on the patios, so it was comfortable sitting outside. The pizzas were delicious! We also tried the homemade blueberry cobbler - it was very rich and yummy.

I love being adventurous and visiting random places on roadtrips. Let me tell you this was one of the best places I have visit. The food and drinks were on point and so delicious. The pizza bread omg was on point! I would recommend this place to everyone I know! Worth the stop for sure.

In one word: Superb. We came here after numerous recommendations from locals and wow were they right. Everything was right up our alley. There was a wait of 40 minutes for a table for two on a busy Thursday evening around 7:00. We were able to order a drink and sit at the bar and the service we got was excellent from a young long man with blonde hair, I wish I knew his name so I could commend him on his friendly cheerful service. When it was time to be seated we almost stayed inside but the evening was beautiful so we went out to the patio to eat. They have a text system so we were notified by phone that our table was ready and we had 10 minutes to settle up and be seated, it was all very easy. Our waitress outside was Jackie and she was so fun, she made great recommendations, checked in with us numerous times and definitely added to the experience. The food was excellent, we had wings as an appetizer and they were great, it didn’t hurt that we were starving! I ordered a half Caesar and a figgy calzones. The salad was very good as was the calzone, I’ve never seen some of the combinations they have on their menu and I love that they are so adventurous. My husband had the meatball sandwich and he enjoyed it very much, the meatballs were perfectly cooked and not at all dry as meatballs typically are. The prices are surprisingly reasonable, we were very happy with the bill and had leftovers today! The atmosphere is fun with fiesta lights making for a great vibe. While this restaurant does have river views, most of the tables, including ours have no view. This deserves a visit and a five star rating. The restroom was clean and well stocked but tough for us tall gals, the door is so close that my knees almost touched it!

Awesome restaurant and bar with a beautiful view right on the river. I came on a Wednesday afternoon when things weren’t too busy. Service was very efficient and offered with a smile and nice conversation. Food arrived within 10 minutes of ordering. The menu is very diverse but I focused on the pizza. The fig pizza is out of this world … definitely get it!

Pizza was great but on the thin side. The wings although said to have habanero sauce were not spicy at all, but again very well cooked. My favorite was the meatballs. Perfect and moist with a nice marinara sauce. Excellent service. I can't wait to visit again and try the rest of the menu. Loved the margaritas and house salad too.

We got a couple of pizzas, wings, and cheese bites. The location on the river is amazing. If you are looking for an enjoyable atmosphere, this place can’t be beat. The pizzas were good, but a bit on the dry side for our liking. The regular hot wings none of our party loved, not bad, just not a fan favorite. However the garlic Parmesan wings were delicious and we all thoroughly enjoyed those. The cheese bites were also a hit at the table. All in all a good experience. The 4.5 rating is accurate.
