Decided to bring the kids here. They weren’t a huge fan of the pizza, nor the ranch dip. We waited awhile for our order due to the restaurant being understaffed. Props to the only cook holding it down on a busy Sunday. 👍🏼

"Can I get a 10" ham and pineapple?" For here or to go? "To go." Pineapple? "Ham and pineapple." Anything else? "That's it, thanks." We were given a pizza with only pineapple 🤦‍♀️ The taste was great but the crust wasn't thick enough to hold any of the ingredients. Try it for yourself I guess, just make sure they're actually paying attention to what you're saying.

The dough or something was off, no flavor and super stiff. Worst experience at a DD I’ve had. Bee Caves location which I frequent often is always on point. Not sure what’s going on at this location.

My husband and I just had a very disappointing experience at Double Dave’s in Bastrop, Texas. The lady taking our order had to pull someone from the back and spoke to them in Spanish because she clearly didn’t understand what we were asking he. I could deal with that… But what I couldn’t deal with is waiting and waiting for our pizza that we had advised we wanted to dine IN with. They ended up putting it in a box, leaving it under the warming light as if it were a to go order and no one thought to bring it to us, so we sat there and sat there until I finally went up to the counter and realized they had processed it as a to go order. The lobby wasn’t busy, there were only two other tables that were dining in, so anyone could’ve looked at us and realized that there was an issue with the amount of time we were still sitting and waiting.. There was no apology, they looked at us when I told them that was terrible customer service as if it were my fault. At a minimum they could’ve called out our name so I would’ve known that it was ready. I’m also not in the habit of leaving a tip ‘before’ having our dining experience and I almost feel that they did that to us on purpose because I did not leave a tip when we originally paid. Now I’m glad I didn’t. Won’t be returning.

After calling the first time a pickup order they were very short and hang up the phone before I was able to tell them which spot I was in. A man came out and asked for my name and I told him for my order. He said they were just making my salad and my two pizzas were ready. After waiting 20 minutes I called back and then immediately brought me my food. I get home and the salad has rotten leaves. Common!

I was super bummed to get home and see this. This is the first time I have been disappointed with my order. I ordered a Margarita pizza with extra tomato’s. The tomato’s are usually round slices so of course I add extra, if I had known they were going to be chopped tomato’s I would not have asked for extra. What a mess! My biggest complaint, where’s the basil?? Is this even a margarita pizza? ( I always check my order before leaving) this was the first I didn’t, I’m pregnant and was starving so I was ready to get home.

So expensive for less. I’m willing to pay but their “deals” are ridiculous. Bang for the buck leaves you feeling like a sucker.

Few issues with my visit…. 1) they teenagers they have working there clearly dgaf, I ordered a pepperoni & mushroom, they made a pepperoni pizza but forgot the mushrooms so just tossed some cold ones on top, and they got my friends order wrong, he ordered a margarita they gave him a Hawaiian 3) the pizza tasted terrible, I’m basically a garbage disposal, I’ll eat almost anything and the pizza was so crappy I barely made it through a slice. 4) I contacted DD for a refund and never heard back, then I called about it and the manager knew I had emailed and kept mumbling the whole call but from what I was able to understand that the big manager would call me because he couldn’t do refunds, a few hours later the “big” manager called me and basically told me she can’t do refunds either, unless I could give her the order number that’s on the receipt which no one would keep. From start to finish this place was a joke.

First time in Bastrop location. Staff is not trained properly. They dont pay attention to the customer. They dont keep up with food orders given. Waste of time. Asked status of food order and they hadn't even started it they forgot.

I had a really disappointing experience at this place. On an extremely hot day when I stopped in with my baby, hoping to enjoy a good pizza. As soon as I walked in, I greeted the woman at the register with a friendly “hello,” but she didn’t even acknowledge me. I let her know it was my first time there and mentioned I was a little overwhelmed and confused about the menu, still completely ignored me. When I asked what types of drinks they had, she said, “I don’t know, there’s some over here and over there,” without even bothering to point or give any helpful information.(I don’t remember her name but she was wearing glasses & had dark brown hair). She was extremely disrespectful and dismissive from the start! I hope she finds a job that doesn’t make her life miserable because no one deserves to be treated that way, especially when I treated her with kindness & respect. The complete lack of courtesy and basic customer service was frustrating and left a really bad impression.

Service was not good at all. We waited over 40 minutes for just a small pizza and 6 pizza rolls. The young lady reffered to my son in law as a woman. My daughter had to correct her and say you mean he wants a drink? Yea, this is not okay. I am not sure if I will be coming back here.

The food was good and the beer was good. What was lacking is the service and correction of mistakes. I ordered the cheesy bread sticks and hot wings at the counter. After sitting at our table drinking a couple of beers and watching quite a few tables get their food which had arrived much later than us, I went back up to ask how much longer (It had already been approx 45 min). She got with the kitchen and said the back of house never received the ticket. I didn't get anything off my tab or even get so much as an apology for the delay. Then to top it off when the food came out, they brought us regular breadsticks.
