This is absolutely my favorite sandwich shop. The food is great and a step above all the rest. I've been coming here for over 2 decades and we eat here at least once per month. No matter the decade, the staff is always kind and welcoming.

This little sandwich shop is truly great, authentic old school style. All orders to go and food is amazing. They've been a local fixture for a long time , quality and freshness are good. Service and staff phenomenal. Must try if in the area, worth the trip if passing thru Belmont. Pastrami is awesome and other sandwiches are the bomb.

Had a delicious sandwich here. Ordered at the window from the sidewalk, no inside seating it seems. Dutch crunch bread was crunchy and delicious. Lots of meat in the sandwich as well. Glad to find this great deli in the bay area.

These guys are great! My car got hit right outside on the street and the driver took off. The guys inside sprung into action and quickly got pics of the license plate and saved them for me. On the food side, I suggest the turkey with sesame seed. The sourdough is too tough for me personally but still amazing. Secret garlic sauce is delicious.

If there’s a 6-star, I will give it to them. Their pastrami with extra meat and fresh jalapeños is the best in town. Friendly staff, excellent service and very neat and clean preparation. What you order is always exact and correct. Been going there for more than 10 years now and more to come. BRAVO TO YOUR EXCELLENT SERVICE, SANDWICHES AND YOUR STAFF 👏👏👏👏👏👏. SIMPLY THE BEST!

Been coming here for over ten years. They have the best hot pastrami sandwich I've tasted. The egg salad is also good. Veggies always taste fresh and crisp. And the pesto dressing is the only one I've seen and it's heavenly good. No seats. Only to go order.

Lorenzoes in Belmont has honestly been one of those places that never lets me down. Growing up around here you end up trying a spot over and over and you start to notice when the quality slips but that just has not happened here. The food is consistently awesome every single time which says a lot. Whether you are grabbing something quick or actually sitting down to enjoy it, you know exactly what you are going to get and it always hits the spot. One of the biggest standouts for me is their signature garlic aioli. I am not exaggerating when I say it makes everything better. It has that perfect balance of flavor where it is rich and garlicky but not overwhelming and it ties the whole meal together. I find myself looking forward to it every time because it really is that good. There is also something about the overall vibe that feels very Belmont. It is comfortable, familiar, and just feels like a true neighborhood staple. You see regulars, the service is warm, and it feels like a place that actually cares about putting out good food rather than just rushing people through. If you are local you probably already know how solid Lorenzoes is, and if you are new to the area it is definitely worth making it one of your go to spots. Reliable, flavorful, and always satisfying.

I've been coming here ever since I was a kid going to Carlmont high school and they have the best sandwiches in town.

Lived in Belmont in 1990.... I was 5 year old at the time. Mom would pick me up from school and we'd go watch General Hospital lol. I still remember the garlic taste all these years later.

Top quality deli sandwiches. Sourdough bread is outstanding. Can be a bit of a wait depending on when you go. Always worth it.

Fantastic little sandwich shop. Reminded me of those old school shops with no BS just high quality ingredients and quick service. Highly recommend! Edit 8/7/19 Went here again and got the turkey with extra meat. Sooo much meat, it was delicious but I probably will just get a normal sandwich next time. There was a lady here that came from San Jose to get 8 sandwiches FOR HERSELF because she loves this place so much. Do yourself a favour and check it out. Get the garlic sauce. Win.

Good local sandwich spot. However, Just kinda odd with how they take their orders via phone. Plus seems that they dont have call waiting function that you have to keep dialing until your call gets through due to busy tone during peak times. Didn't really u understand how we were told to to come in an hour to pick up our order, so our toasted sandwiches were already soggy. But the kids still approved and said "It was good and I would recommend the turkey bacon cheese on soft bread." Will try again in the future with friends who might know some type of special local trick...we'll see

I am pretty sure they gave me the wrong sandwich. As you can see by the paperwork I ordered turkey with cheese and sprouts...instead I received a No cheese with bacon and avocado which I am not a fan of. Very disappointed in this place. I expected more after seeing the reviews.

Been going here for years, used to be the best sandwich around. Went recently after not going for a long time and was very disappointed. The sandwiches are nowhere near as good as they used to be. I asked for extra garlic sauce and it barely had any on it. The quality and taste is no longer there. All lettuce no meat on old bread. Possibly new owners, not sure. Will not be going back and do not recommend anymore.
