Opinions de Lunetta Beverly Hills
This place was awesome, super local clientele. The food was nice, server was really busy but did a decent job, the restaurant was pretty slammed when we got there. We ordered the salmon and the chicken plate. Both were great, we also ordered the Cesar which was really good. Would recommend for sure, would go back.
We had an amazing dinner, the Pappardelle Bolognese was amazing as well as their amazing bread. We sat in the bar by the fireplace and it was wonderful. Congratulations to Chef Lunetta and his team for having such a wonderful restaurant to dine in.
Great food, we got a LAD burger and salmon sandwich. Desert cake was not as good as food though, a little dry.
A+, highly recommended for brunch. easy parking, no wait, when we went at 10:30am on a Saturday. beautiful outdoor patio but also really fun indoor dining area. thank you Jessamyn for great service
Lunetta is always a hit. Dinner last night with six of us and everything was on point. The service was great, the steak literally melts in your mouth, and the pasta is soooo good. Everything is fresh and delicious. Even the picky kids were beyond happy. Great food, great vibe. If you haven’t been yet you’re seriously missing out.
Patio and indoor seating is offered. Their team offered a warm greeting and sat us in a nice section indoors. Their ceviche, crab cake a gem salad was flavorful. Knowing we had a football game to attend, they make sure to get the food out to ensure we made it there in time. We told them we weren't in a rush but it was thoughtful of them to wanting to be able to attend our event. Santiago and team were great. Looking forward to going back for lunch and having that chicken sandwich.
This place came highly recommended from my lady friends who do luncheons regularly. I was blown away by the rock shrimp sandwich, had to control myself not ordering it again for round 2! I hope it stays on regular menu not just DineLA. There are 7 others things on the menu I want to try, well balanced flavors that hits the spot. Lovely atmosphere will definitely come back again and again.
Lunetta has a very cute and quaint vibe, with the indoor and outdoor seating both having their own lovely aesthetic. The ingredients used to make all meals feel very fresh and sourced from organic sources(confirmed by our server). The green eye matcha was fantastic, while not sweet it was perfectly tart and had a great dash of matcha taste. The 12. Oz steak and eggs were very delightful with the side of vegetable crouton mix serving almost as a gremolata or a chinichurri. It was perfect for brunch and the flavors were just so rich and enlightening. The pancakes and eggs were very nicely done and pair beautifully with the maple syrup. The maple syrup itself was such an amazing experience, it was delicate , light and not too sticky, indicating a homemade saucy syrup which was a great experience! If you are searching for a cute brunch experience with light vibes and great service then this spot is definitely a must!
Lunetta is that rare LA spot that pulls off both brunch and dinner with equal brilliance—like a band that nails both the Sunday acoustic set and the Friday night headliner. Brunch is a standout: sunny, effortlessly cool, and filled with dishes that straddle California freshness and French technique. (The lemon ricotta pancakes? Borderline unfair.) Then, as the day fades, Lunetta leans into its nighttime persona—moody, low-lit, atmospheric, and vibey without trying too hard. Chef Raphael Lunetta, who I first knew from Giraffe—still one of my all-time favorite French restaurants—brings that same intuitive balance here. Giraffe was this beautiful tension between laid-back and haute cuisine, and that balance is carried forward at Lunetta. With partners like Michael Garrett, they’ve created something that doesn’t follow food trends so much as refine them. The plates surprise, the cocktails impress, and the whole experience feels deeply considered yet never fussy. Years in, Lunetta continues to feel fresh, grounded, and quietly exceptional.
Lunetta is hard to define as it is a nice place for lunch with a diverse menu and indoor outdoor areas (with a wonderful patio), as well as a very romantic place at night with a speak easy vibe and last but not least a to/go service available. Food wise the menu offers some revisited classic like their mussels or their burger. Personally I really enjoyed their chopped salad and the flourless caked - gluten-free friendly but also a great taste and texture. The wine list is also interesting as I had the opportunity to taste a Merlot from Mexico (and it rhymes!). Service was good even at peak.
This was our second time back for brunch at Lunetta. We love all their seating options so can sit inside or outside if you’d like. We sat in the front dinning room and it was so cute! It’s hard to pick why you want because everything sounds so good, but we tried the rock shrimp ceviche, the fried chicken sandwich, and the polenta and eggs. All cooked to perfection! P.s. to the restaurant- your pathos plants need some water 😅 otherwise your spaces are stunning!
Such a wonderful dinner in an unassuming spot. The restaurant was busy, but we still felt like we had an intimate dinner. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, omnivore friendly. Andrew, our server has obviously been in this business a long time. He really added to the upscale experience, helping us through the menu and even being kind and patient with the children at the table. Great place for out-of-town guests that want a guaranteed wonderful meal.
Cheers to Chef Rafi! If you want to beat the crowd, have a nice dining experience with excellent food, without paying $$$$, then this is a great choice. I prefer to dine in the nice dining room (fireplace) because it gives me that fine dining experience. Whereas Lunetta All Day, next door (same kitchen, same owner) offers a more casual dining experience. Here are some photos from my nearly dozen times eating here. It's always consistent. Jeffrey is our favorite server in the fine dining room area.
We had our wedding rehearsal dinner here in September and cannot say enough good things. We rented the all day room for about 40 people. Everyone loved the food, Madison was extremely responsive, detailed, and helpful throughout the planning process, and the space was beautiful and private. Service was excellent. It was great to not have any added pre wedding stress and have this night handled perfectly. Highly recommend Lunetta for your private event!
Easily one of the best breakfasts that I have had in Santa Monica. I have pretty much been everywhere so that’s really saying something. There’s a lot about this place that I really like. First the food quality is great. Our server was extremely polite and very attentive. They have a free giant parking lot in the back, and plenty of seating inside. We sat at the bar because all the dining tables were taken, but it was still a really nice experience. They don’t have a very large menu, but they do have a lot of great choices on it. Lunetta At Night shares the same roof, but is next-door. I plan to be back in the near future to try it because their breakfast was that good. I started off with a Cappuccino, and it was terrific. Strong and flavorful just like I like it. I chose the Eggs Benedict for my entrée and honestly really loved it. I got a side of the chipotle aïoli, and it was a great combination with the mini potatoes. I especially liked how the ham is shaved instead of a thicker Virginia type ham. I thought it was great and I would order it again. Overall a great breakfast option in Santa Monica with extremely easy parking. I would recommend to anyone and I plan to be back in the near future.
The atmosphere at Lunetta is absolutely incredible. I’m genuinely surprised more people aren’t flocking to this place! The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between trendy and relaxed, making it a great spot to enjoy a leisurely meal. The food? Incredible. Every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. You can tell the kitchen puts real care into what they’re serving. The service was warm and attentive, though admittedly on the slower side. If you’re thinking of going for Sunday brunch, be prepared to take your time. It’s not the best option if you’re in a rush. That said, if you’re someone who enjoys a laid-back dining experience and doesn’t mind a slower pace, Lunetta is absolutely worth a visit.
We came here on a busy Mother’s Day for brunch. We were seated in the outdoor area, which was airy and very comfortable on a warm day in May. The food here are fairly typical American fares. We had the Eggs Benedict, deviled egg with smoke salmon and a fried chicken sandwich. The Eggs Benedict was above average with fresh ingredients. The deviled eggs were quite tasty, but he salmon was on the meh side. The fired chicken sandwich with fries were decent as the breast meat was really deep fried, which was decent, and the fries were just okay. The salad was the best dish with fresh ingredients. The service was excellent and friendly. There was a free parking lot where the outdoor seating area was located. It was a very pleasant experience for a Mother’s Day Brunch here.
My family and I checked out Lunetta for Mother's Day, and while the ambience was great on a sunny day, the food and service left us disappointed. Lunetta is one of those places you try once, and you know you will not return. The prices are typical of brunch spots in LA, but for the portions and quality, I would suggest going to another spot! We paid $26 for a singular crab cake that our waiter said was "big" enough to share, and when he brought it to the table even he had to caveat he was actually referring to the dinner size crab cake as being larger. The crab cake was maybe 2 inches in diameter? If we had know we would have just gotten another entrée to share. Similarly, we ordered the chips and guacamole, and I would have thought the guacamole was going to be bigger for the price of $18. Instead they served it with pico and salsa which were actually pretty tasty, but we had ran out of chips so quickly - that when we asked for a refill, our server forgot until we were ready for the check. The service was slow, but I don't fault our waiter as he seemed to be the only one manning the section of around 10+ tables by himself. It was hard to get a hold of him for our order, refills, etc. I had ordered the steak (medium rare) and eggs and when the dish arrived it was completely well done. I had to wait over 10 minutes to inform my waiter, and waited another 10 minutes to get my remade dish. It was worth the wait because it was cooked better, but overall the food and service was disappointing. If you are looking for brunch I would suggest going to Great White or the Strand House.
That’s the last time we will eat at Lunetta. We had eaten there over a dozen times over the past few years, a lot of work lunches. I get it, I have many allergies. But I arrive with a list of my allergens, flexibility and my epi pens. Most of the time, we can find something I can eat. Not last night. To begin, it would be helpful to have at least one wheat free entree. I asked if any of the entrees could be adapted. The waiter spoke to chef and came back with an attitude that suggested they could do only two entrees completely plain. And he projected that the chef was pissed to be asked to make any adjustments. It was rude. I’ve navigated fine and low dining and foreign countries and still was able find something I could eat. On top of everything, what was served triggered my allergies and while I didn’t need the epi pens, I’ve had an unpleasant day of symptoms. Never again.
I’ve been here several times, and I feel the quality has just been going down. First, the host had no communication skills. We asked for a table for 5, she smiled like she didn’t understand what that meant, then walked over to a table (so we followed) only to tell us it wasn’t our table. Then our server was rude. He was never around, and after waiting awhile, he came over. I asked if a substitute was possible (wasn’t a big request) to which he replied they were too busy to accommodate. I get it, but the way he said it was so off putting. The worst part was that they had the nerve to include 20% tip already—for what?! It was the worst service, it was so crammed and we kept having to squeeze in our seat, no one checked on us only to drop the check, and honestly, the foods alright but all of this made for a bad experience. It was similar my previous experience too. This place is OVERRATED. It used to be good.
