Opinions de The Juice Factory Big Bear Lake
Came here during a power outage & it was one of the only places open in all of Big Bear for breakfast! Was blown away at the service and quality of food! We ordered a tropical green juice, geeen juice detox, bruschetta toast with a banana strawberry bowl & were thrilled with how amazing everything was! So glad we stumbled upon this place! Will definitely be back!
This is a diamond in the rough! I’ve lived up here in Big Bear for two years and we’ve only recently tried the Juice Factory. They have lots of options, fresh juice, smoothies, pitaya bowls etc. the folks that work here are so nice and I love the earthy vibe they’ve created. We will definitely be coming back more often 💕
Stopped in for an acai bowl on a Friday morning. We walked in, and there was nobody in line. The server was super kind to us. We were able to get our order in and she helped to make some adjustments to accommodate for a dietary restrictions. I got the breakfast açai bowl and it was super good. I ended up getting that in the large and she even put fruit and granola right in the middle. That was a plus We got our kids, strawberry banana, smoothie, and split it into 2 cups. Service was super quick and very friendly. Will definitely be coming here again.
For the area we couldn’t find anything even close to the quality of this place. A fantastic morning pick-me-up or a refreshing post-hike replenishment. We were very grateful to stumble upon it. We had several of the smoothies (all great) as well as the “Avo-fire” avocado toast, also excellent and creative. The only thing we thought was mediocre was the Acai bowl, tasted like it had a bit too much sugar. Other than that fantastic!
Bright, cheerful, clean and friendly, this is *the* smoothie place you've been looking for in Big Bear. The smoothies are delicious (I recommend the watermelon Melon Mania) and the folks behind the counter are incredibly nice. 10/10, definitely recommend.
It’s hard to find high quality juices/smoothies in Big Bear. Juice Factory has everything you’ll need on that front, and then some. Their menu is creative, delicious, and nutritious. Prices are reasonable as well. They’ve got plenty of vegan options too. I had the Beet-Bear-E smoothie and it was wonderful. To my surprise, the play of coconut and beet really worked! The staff are also super helpful and nice. Gotta stop by Juice Factory when you’re in town.
The Ginger Shots are the Bomb😋 The Mountain Detox was sooo Good!!
Best place in town for healthy, fresh juices and bowls. The girls work hard and have the best attitude and customer service. The menu selection is huge, all is delicious and prepared in front of you. Good parking.
Great smoothies and bowls with fresh ingredients. Wife enjoyed avocado toast. Will definitely be back!
The best smoothies and toast ever. The staff is always friendly and nice. Esmeralda is the best

The variety and the number of options is definitely the strongest place I really enjoyed the Acai Super power shake. I was a bit disappointed from the design inside, there were a few fake trees inside. There were a few miscommunications between the staff.

Cool place to get a lighter snack or meal.
Had a hankering for something a little healthier than donuts for breakfast for the crew and we didn't feel like cooking so we decided to give Juice Factory a try. Some of our friends gave us some mixed reviews and we figured it had to be better than the chains down the hill so here we go. We each tried a different smoothie and then we also split an acai bowl as well. I like supporting my local businesses but this was a pricey breakfast for smoothies, fair warning. I was a little surprised as we watched them making the smoothies that most of what went into them was syrups and frozen stuff. We had hoped for the price there would be more actual fruits but if you go to a chain they use the same type of stuff so not a deal breaker. The acai bowl was delicious! The smoothies we tried were the passion 360, summit orange, ban berry, lava flow, and jungle juice. Our favorite 2 were the lava flow and summit orange.

I look for healthier foods. In this place I had the power acai bowl. I couldn't determine if there was acai in it, although it did taste good. The banana topping was very overripe. The employees weren't friendly. There's a sign up that states to be nice to the employees because they showed up to work. I spent over 20 years training people to give good customer service. I find it very odd to see signs that ask customers to be nice to their employees. It seems backwards to me. Perhaps if the employees were nice they'd get nice back in return. I won't go back to this location.

10/10 would NOT recommend. Before ordering I mentioned allergies - it was empty inside - no other customers (now I understand why). Upon making our smoothies I watched the worker focus more on chatting with the guy standing behind counter with her (later she stated that the boss was explaining what to do but the “boss” never spoke a word. It was all her BSing about Marshall’s. As I continue observing I watch her use dairy milk in our smoothies. Once she handed to us I asked is this dairy free because we have allergies ? They insisted it was and when I explained I watched them pour the dairy milk - they pretended to be on their head set phones and pretended I was not in there - since it’s a hole in the wall and probably won’t be open much longer , wanted to share and spare you the disgrace of this place. ESPECIALLY stay away if you have allergies. She also kept insisting Nutella was allergy friendly (it’s not. There’s dairy in it)
Drove 40 min to try this place and it's closed on Tuesday at 2:45 pm, when it's supposed to be open. Signs says open, even waited 30 min in case personnel was at lunch and nothing...disappointing

I watched the girl at the counter give 4 people the wrong order. She had no idea what she was doing. I ordered 2 Power Acai Bowls. After nearly 30 minutes, and being asked 2 more times what I had ordered (where I repeated 2 Power Acai Bowls), I finally got my order... but sadly it was 2 smoothies. I never asked for smoothies and didn't want smoothies. I wanted the granola, banana and peanut butter that comes on the Power Acai Bowl. I told her and she said she would remake it. More waiting... and then finally I got my order. Frustrated, I left and went home. Only to fins she had simply poured the smoothie I to a large bowl container and put the ingredients on top - which simply sank to the bottom. It was a soupy, sloshing mess of a smoothie... nit what I ordered or wanted... and all of that was for $13.99 each!!! Crazy, won't be back and do not recommend it to anyone.
We paid $40 for two açaí bowls that were not only poorly made, but also completely disregarded our dietary substitutions. I specifically requested almond milk instead of orange juice due to an allergy, and the second bowl was ordered without peanut butter (substituted for almond butter) or chocolate almond milk (substituted for regular almond milk). What we received was the opposite: my bowl was overwhelmed with orange juice, and the other was drowning in peanut butter and chocolate, topped with a mere dollop of almond butter. When we politely brought this to their attention, rather than take accountability, the owner tried lying to us — insisting the bowls were made correctly despite the very obvious and unmistakable flavors we were trying to avoid. As someone who regularly eats açaí bowls (in my city) and makes them at home, I know what orange juice, peanut butter, chocolate taste like. We won’t be returning. Update in response to business reply July 19 2025: Thank you for your response. To clarify, after attempting to eat the açaí bowls in our car, my husband returned to your store and brought back what remained of his bowl. You offered him a refund, which he declined, stating that he no longer wanted the bowl. He then left the establishment and returned to the car. At no point was there any yelling or inappropriate behavior. Your claim that there was “screaming” is simply untrue.
Terrible service. My smoothie took nearly 40 mins to make and they weren’t that busy. They also didn’t get the order right. And others also didn’t get their order right. The staff also has a negative, mean attitude. Would not recommend.
We are visiting the area for a family vacation and had decided to get some juices from here. The atmosphere was okay and did seemed to be loved my the locals. I was personally concerned about the hygiene of the staff after an odd interaction with an employee there. I had needed to was my hands as they were dirty, and had made my way to the bathroom. When I got to the bathroom I noticed there was no hand soap to wash my hands and had went to ask a staff member about it. She had told me I was an employee only bathroom but it was okay for me to use, I apologized for going in to the employee bathroom, but still inquired about the hand soap as I still needed to wash my hands. The employee told me there was Sanatize available to use instead, but I didn’t want to sanitize my hands as they needed to be washed. I asked about the hand soap again and that the dispenser was empty, to which the employee told me that “that’s why it’s an employee bathroom”. I was taken aback by that statement, kind of making me think that the staff there don’t wash their hands after using the restroom and prior to handling the food served there. I just decided to go back to my family and wash my hands once I was somewhere else and waited for my drinks. While the drinks of my family were okay, mine had not been. I had ordered an orange juice from the fresh juice section of the menu, and had been given a very foamy and green drink. Upon further inspection, I learned that I had been given an orange juice were the orange peels had been juiced instead and that there some green leaves or scraps floating at the top of my drink which made more unappealing. The drink was over all bitter and awful, and tasted completely of orange peels and I had to throw it away. I really wanted to like this place, but I am now unsure if we will go back.
I LOVE this place but I’m continually disappointed with the service I receive. I live up the mountain and am shocked they treat locals the way they do. I’ve been in the front of the line and the cashier took every order (including the 3 people behind me). And somehow everyone behind me would get their orders before mine. I know it’s usually one person behind the counter so I am always very patient, but it’s truly disappointing. I’ve been here 10+ times, and sadly things like this happen 8/10 times. Today I ordered 2 juices and an energy shot, I was the only person there. There was two employees but only one was working on my order, after 5 minutes a 2nd person came to order 4 drinks. The second employee stopped what she was doing and completed the order before my order was even done. When she was finished she continued stocking instead of helping complete my order. I LOVE supporting this small shop, but they make it difficult when they serve people out of order, and favor certain locals. I stopped going out of my way for this reason. I hope management will retrain employees and provide fair service to everyone.
