Beautiful, friendly restaurant nestled in the hills of Bosia - the Octopus salad was delicious as was the Gnocchi with lemon crepe sauce and hazelnuts! Topped off with a crisp glass of Arnais - perfection!
We had an appetizer, a primi piatto and then two second plates and two desserts and coffees. Everything was absolutely delicious, I highly recommend this place. BTW I tried the ravioli filled with breadcrumbs, they tasted like filled with milk. Delicious 😋
We had a great time at Osteria De Cecco. The food was excellent and refined — the meat was very tender and the cheese tasting was absolutely delicious with generous portions. There’s also an impressive wine list with a wide selection. The atmosphere was lovely, with a beautiful, peaceful terrace overlooking stunning Italian scenery. Highly recommended!
if you don’t like this food, place and atmosphere, you have to work on yourself.

Amazing food! Recommend the risotto with nocciole and the tagliata. The Luen nebbiolo wine is a must. The owner, chef and staff were really kind and helpful.

We like our walking and exploring and have food at a place on our way. And booking that place is not part of our way of life. Problem is when we walk on a Saturday or Sunday when every respectable restaurant/osteria/trattoria nelle Langhe is fully booked. And nothing makes me happier than when calling at 13.50 you get answered by this polite voice who says yes, we can accommodate you. But when everything that we had - from cestino pane, focaccia, grissini, i meravigliosi primi e spettacolari secondi . What can we say - it does take a lot of luck to have all these ingredients of happiness together and, with them we got them. Ah, and the nice voice was of a professional ragazzo that served us. Bellissimo pranzo. Grazie
A superb and refined cuisine highlighting local and regional specialties, with perfectly prepared ingredients and skillfully balanced flavors. Valter does Piemontese food better than most. The waitstaff, led by the gracious hostess Doina, are attentive, professional, and help create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Cleanliness and attention to detail exceed expectation (Lagioule cutlery, pressed linen napkins, fine glassware, etc) without feeling too fancy. I HIGHLY recommend making the trip— would travel more than one hour to dine here. A heartfelt thank you to Doina, Valter and the crew. See you soon! (Personal opinion: as someone who suffers from light sensitivity, the lights in the dining room are a bit too bright.)
