If you haven’t visited this place YOU MUST! Everything from customer service to the food was GREAT! As a person that eats Chinese often this is one of the BEST spots I’ve had! Also Amazing prices for what you get 🤍
We absolutely LOVE Spicy House!! We are new to the area and stumbled upon this restaurant for dinner one of our first nights in town. That first visit, we got the cucumber salad as an appetizer, and Mapo Tofu along with an order of Orange Chicken! Firstly the cucumber salad was soooo yummy, and both entrees were fantastic and just beyond delicious! We decided to come back a few nights later to try some other menu items, and I just could not stop thinking about that cucumber salad, so of course we got another order of that!! All the items we got during the second visit are pictured and labeled in this review! And again, everything was perfect! Fresh, delicious, and great portions! The two stand out stars of this meal were the dumplings in chili oil and the SPICY fried rice!! I mean flavor explosion from both!! Honestly, out of this world!! They have really locked down the perfect balance of flavor and spice!! Kudos!! We are certain this will be a regular/weekly dinner spot for us and we can’t wait to go back to try even more new things!! Also, I want to give a shout out to our waiter Kevin, who was just so awesome, friendly, attentive, and all around great guy! He made the dining experience that much more enjoyable! Spicy House, Thanks again for being such a wonderful place for us to dine at, and just know y’all will be seeing us again soon and often!! :)
Absolutely delicious every dish we had was outstanding! Service was excellent as well
My family and I decided to try out the new restaurant nearby, we were very happy with the portions as this is more like family style portions. Everything was very hot and fresh, and you could tell the oil they use to cook with and fry is very good. I highly recommend the sesame chicken and the fried rice. We tried the egg drop soup and wonton, which were very good and hot. The scallion pan cake, not traditional, it was good tasting but not my favorite. The pork dumplings were delicious but the crab Rangoons stole the show on appetizers. Orange chicken was a nice amount of sweet. Will come again
We tried this for the first time and had some incredible food. The pan fried pork potstickers and veggie potstickers were some of the best we have ever had. I would go back just for them. The double cooked pork with green beans was spicy and tasty. The mei fun noodles with shrimp were quite good as well. The General Tso’s was lightly breaded and crispy, but if you like it spicy, I recommend you order it extra spicy. You can order pan fried noodles as a side dish and they were quite good. We plan to go back soon. It was the best more Authentic Chinese food we have had in the Cypress area.
As someone who lived in Shanghai and various parts of China for several years, my husband and I can confidently say Spicy House serves some of the most authentic Chinese food you’ll find. The chef, whom we’ve known since before the pandemic, has truly outdone himself with this new restaurant. Tonight, we ordered some of our favorite dishes, including deep-fried string green beans, chili with eggs, and double-fried pork belly. Each dish was bursting with flavor and brought us right back to our time in China. The food is every bit as good as we remembered—if not better. For anyone seeking truly authentic Hunan cuisine or well-prepared, flavorful dishes, Spicy House is a must-visit. We’re thrilled to have this gem nearby and plan to remain loyal customers for many years to come.
Had a quick lunch. Food was amazing and my server sweet. Would come back soon
Went in on lunar year and ate the Mapo Tofu and the Dumplings in Red Chili Oil. The flavors were beautiful and complex. Wonderfully prepared dishes and the staff was very friendly. I will be coming back for more 🩵✨
I ordered the Shrimp in Garlic sauce with noodles. I believe my boyfriend ordered the spicy peppered beef with white rice. This food was really tasty and delicious! I loved supporting this local businesses.
10/10 I Definitely Will Be Back I Had The Mongolian Beef With Noodles & Some Crab Puffs .The Beef Was Cooked To Perfection & Was Very Presentable On The Plate . crab Puffs Were A Bit Hard But Cream Filling Was Delicious. I’m Glad We Finally Have Good Asian Spot In The Area!!!
Their pork pot stickers are delicious and come with an amazing spicy ginger sauce. I also really love the overall vibe of the place, and the server was very kind. Will definitely come again!
VERY pleasantly surprised. 1st visit. Food was amazing. Pot stickers, Dumplings, Bok choy in garlic sauce, Shredded pork in garlic sauce, won ton and egg drop soups were all wonderful. 3 Tea bags per pot so it wasn't weak and watered down. Highly recommend.
The house special Singapore noodles were delicious. Love the wonton soup. Wasn’t soggy and falling apart. The wings were fried to perfection. The only pointer I would give is the wings don’t have a specific flavor. I would suggest putting some salt and pepper on the side at minimum. Overall, really tasty. Definitely will be back.

My wife and I came here for lunch on a recent Saturday. The food came out quickly and was clearly made to order. I had the General Tso’s Chicken and my wife had the Broccoli Beef—both were very well prepared. The service was attentive, the restaurant was clean, and overall it was a good value for the money.
I ordered vegetables fried rice but accidentally they put eggs in it. We don’t eat eggs and I called to the restaurant and lady told me to bring it and we can make another one for you. I took it the restaurant and they re make the rice again and turn to be great. She and the young boy said millions time sorry and I said it’s ok it happens. She also offered me and my wife drink also. My opinion it’s great place to eat Chinese food with great atmosphere and welcoming people. Excellent service and I will be keep going often.

I recently dined here and had an exceptional experience! The fish fillet in hot chili sauce paired perfectly with the sautéed green beans and eggplant - the flavors were spot on and transported me back to my favorite restaurant in Chinatown, Houston. I'm usually tough to impress, but this place earned a well-deserved 5/5 stars. I'm already planning my next visit - can't wait to see what else they have to offer!
Excellent spicy Schezuan style Chinese food. We've had carry out a few times here and decided to dine in. It was a good choice on our part! We ordered black pepper beef, beef in hot chili oil, spicy chili crispy chicken, and fish in hot chili oil. All were delicious! They asked us what spice level we wanted and we asked for 8 out of 10. It was well seasoned, hot, spicy, and flavorful. I would highly recommend this place. It's a little odd to get there because of the road construction, but it's worth the effort. We will continue to patronize this restaurant.
I don't usually do Chinese food. I stick with orange chicken when I do. It was good, but a little chewy. You get lots of food. Can probably split most plates. Didn't get fortune cookies. Not sure why. No big deal. Plenty of leftovers for lunch the next t day.
A very solid Chinese restaurant serving freshly cooked Szechuan style cuisine. We took our family of 7 there and everyone enjoyed the different dishes. The flavors were great! with the egg noodles in the lo mein was freshly made because there’s a significant difference in flavor. The quantity was good for the amount of price you paid. The reason why this restaurant doesn’t get a 5-STAR is because there are a couple Szechuan locations throughout Houston that are cranking out five star Szechuan cuisine. Also the service is a four star. although there’s only three tables, the server was very busy to give good quality attention to filling water and being attentive to the dining in patrons. Maybe the to-go orders were keeping her very busy. overall atmosphere is a three star. When you have no paper towels and no hand dryer and the urinal has a trash bag over it your restaurant gets docked points. Note my rating system: 1 Star: I wouldn't recommend 2 Stars: Didn't hit my standards 3 Stars: Average (nothing special) 4 Stars: Above Average. Would recommend. Still looking for the 5 Star. 5 Stars: Top of their game. Great food. Great service. Would recommend and plan on returning.

Mininal parking. Nobody greeted up upon entering. The welcome desk was empty. The floor was sticky and the only waiters shoes were sticking to the floor as he walked back and forth. Lunch menu was a good size but pretty much everything was marked spicy. I was a bit concerned about that at first but the food was not spicy at all and it tasted just OK. Lunch menu is $8.99 but does not include fried rice ( $1.99 more) or soup ($2.99) more and had the tiniest egg roll ever (which was mushy). The waiter was nice but he was the only employee we ever saw. They need more help.
The meats are cooked very well and full of flavor. We got Mongolian beef and chicken with garlic sauce. The rice portions are small. Nice staff and good customer service.

The waiter was very friendly and personable, but no one was at the front when I arrived. No one answered the phone even in an empty restaurant. The portions were huge but very greasy and the curry spice was non-existent.
