Honestly love this spot. Came here my first night staying in NY and ended up liking it so much that I came back the second night and third night. Brayan and Greg my bartender/servers, were so attentive and such a genuinely great guys. I loved the spritz’, eggplant parmasean and all the desserts! The happy hour is also a really good deal :)
Absolutely loved our experience here! The food and service were both top-notch. The honey hot pizza is a must-try—perfectly balanced flavors with just the right kick. Our food came out quickly, and everything was fresh and flavorful. The drinks were crafted beautifully and tasted just as good. We also ordered the seasoned fries and lamb ravioli—both were delicious and full of flavor. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for great food and a great vibe!
when everywhere is closed during a storm lulla stayed open. beautiful decor and furniture inside the dining room and the bar is one of the most beautiful and full I've ever seen. The staff were all very friendly and quick. The manager Dave is one of the most passionate and expressive people I have ever met! He arranged a way for me to sit in the dining room for dinner while it was full and always checked in on me to make sure I was good. I will definitely come to lulla when there is no snow and hope to see Dave and his amazing team again!
Some of the best breakfast in NYC! Highly recommend the fingerling potatoes they are a must. Bri, our server, was an absolute angel. She was super fast, helpful, and an overall joy to be around. She even went the extra mile being proactive about allergies and potential substitutions. If you are considering going here, you definitely should!
Celebrated my 30th birthday at Lulla with a reservation for 15, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. The service was incredible, especially for a group our size. Huge shoutout to our waiter, Sabyn, who truly made the night special and handled our unique request flawlessly. Attentive, thoughtful, and genuinely warm throughout the evening. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate a milestone. And happy birthday to you too, Sabyn! 🎉
We were looking for a nice spot for a drink and a bite before hopping a train to NJ at Penn Station.this place really exceeded expectations I think it may be a Hilton run restaurant but it was very casual and personable. Great service ice great drinks great food . The manager even came by for a chat. Can't wait to come back.
Emmy was an awesome server, one of the best we've had! We had a large and boisterous party, and she took such great care of us. The food was excellent - I can't say enough about the fettuccine and the lamb meatballs! Yum! One of our party enjoyed the Branzino. The salads were great too, as well as the focacia and the burrata! Drinks were delish! Great restaurant- a must visit!
Another fantastic experience at Lulla! If you have not been here, you are missing out on a peak NYC experience. Service, food, vibe, kindness, all 10/10. I come here at least once a week, and I am ALWAYS impressed by the new ways they manage to be even better each and every time! Breakfast-you have to try the pancakes, Happy hour- incredible deals, on food and drinks, Dinner-I am obsessed with too many dishes to list, Coffee-I cannot live without their Fredo Flat White. Sabyn was the picture of hospitality and made sure we had everything we wanted. We met Alex, one of the managers, who was so delightful. Dave the bar manager, also so lovely. Shout out to Megan, the wonderful manager, who is genuinely one of the nicest humans I have ever met. She had a well deserved day off when we visited today, but I can’t leave a review without giving her a shout out!
While in the city and staying at Motto, we ended up going to Lulla NYC for breakfast, as it is conveniently located on main floor of the hotel. The menu is very limited and a little pricey, although perhaps not horribly high for New York City. Our server was good and the food was tasty. I had the Omelette, with a side of Bacon. I also had some of the pancake and the potatoes (shared with others). There were 2 thick pancakes with the order. The bacon was also nice and thick, and delicious. The potatoes were also good, but had some spice to them. The coffee and fresh squeezed OJ were both good too.
This small restaurant offers delicious food with a limited menu, including some great vegetarian options. We ordered the hand-cut fettuccine and French fries. The pasta was handmade, and the sauce was delicately spiced with fresh ingredients. If you’re staying in Lower Manhattan and looking for a quick bite, this place should be on your list. They’re open late until 11 PM.
Had an awesome time at Lulla NYC and have to give a special shoutout to Beto behind the bar. He was super friendly, fun to talk to, and really made the whole night feel easy and enjoyable. His drink recommendations were spot-on, and you could tell he puts a lot of care into what he does. The vibe at Lulla is great on its own, but Beto honestly made it even better. If you go, definitely try to sit at the bar with him — you won’t regret it!
Got recommended this place by a local bartender at our hotel and it BLEW IS AWAY! The cocktails, food & service were stellar. Sabyn took care of us and made fabulous recommendations through out the night. 10/10 would recommend to anyone (Side note: the agnolotti was the best I’ve ever had)
We stopped into Lulla for a drink on the advice of the front desk person at the hotel we were staying at across the street. Our bartender Gregory made recommendations for drinks and they couldn’t have been better! Our drinks were delicious and the prices were reasonable. Thanks so much for a great time!
We went for an early dinner with friends around 5pm on Saturday — it wasn’t too busy. The place is super nice, clean, and spacious, with really friendly staff. It’s located inside a hotel. The food was absolutely delicious! We shared the Eggplant Parmesan, Hand-Cut Fettuccine, and Flat Iron Steak family-style, and everything was amazing. We also had tiramisu for dessert — so good! We all loved it, especially the Hand-Cut Fettuccine — it was incredible. I think we just found our new favorite spot!
Great restaurant inside the Motto Hotel. The Hilton itself is a hidden gem—don’t skip it. The rooms are snug but modern and cozy, the views of downtown Manhattan are some of the best you’ll find. For the price, the views and now the food, it’s a definite yes for us. This was our second stay, but our first time dining here! It did not disappoint. The restaurant’s patio has a cute fun vibe that makes it even more enjoyable.
During our stay at a hotel across the street, we stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant, and it turned out to be an absolute highlight of our trip. Originally, we had planned to head to Little Italy, but after reading glowing reviews and noticing that this spot was conveniently located next door, we decided to give it a go—and we’re so glad we did! From the moment we were greeted, the experience was top-notch. We opted to sit outside, and our server, Carolina, was an absolute delight—attentive, warm, and incredibly helpful with her recommendations. Her knowledge of the menu made choosing dishes easy, and everything she suggested was spot on. The food was beyond our expectations. The hand-cut fettuccine, served with veal meatballs, was cooked to perfection—savory, tender, and full of flavor. The Agnolotti, filled with mascarpone, was a standout with its creamy, nutty filling. The Linguine Vongole was also a highlight—perfectly cooked al dente linguine tossed in a rich, briny white wine sauce, featuring plump, tender clams. It was light yet flavorful, with just the right amount of seasoning and a hint of garlic. A true seafood lover’s dream. We also tried the appetizer bites sampler, which was the perfect way to start the meal. It included a generous selection of all their appetizers, and it was more than enough to share around the table. Each bite was a delicious taste of what they have to offer, allowing everyone to try a bit of everything. To top off the evening, we were greeted by Megan, the manager, who was full of energy and just as friendly as Carolina. Together, they made our night unforgettable. Their warmth and enthusiasm really set the tone for an incredible dining experience. For dessert, we indulged in warm, freshly baked chocolate cookies paired with ice cream. The cookies were perfection—gooey and not overly sweet, just the right balance to end the night on a high note. We’ll absolutely be recommending this place to our friends and family visiting New York. It’s a must-try!
We visited NYC Nov 1 - 4, 2025 and stayed at the Motto hotel which has the Lulla restaurant inside. I ordered coffees each morning that we were there - they were good coffees and the staff was somewhat friendly. At 7:30 in the morning that's all I expect. The reason for my 1-star is when I got home I discovered that I had been charged $251.41 for my $25.14 coffees. I called Lulla and was told to email them. I did. Twice. No one ever got back to me and now that somewhat friendly staff got an amazing $231 tip for a $25 order. When you go visit this restaurant - be very careful with your receipt. Be sure and look at the totals. Don't assume that the management will take care of any issues, because they won't. If you don't, then you too may give an amazing $231 tip for a $25 coffee order. UPDATE: I heard back from management immediately and after a bit of communication I was reimbursed for my overpayment. Like I said the coffee was good and now I can say the service was too!
It's inside a hotel. The ambiance I liked. Nice and spacious. I got the breakfast sandwich which was really good, but best not get coffee here. My friends got hot coffees and I got an iced latte-both their coffees were lukewarm and mine tasted like water.. Service was a bit slow, but we all enjoyed our food.
Food was decent, drinks were okay, service was unfortunately way too slow. We ordered the appetizer plate, lamb ravioli, spicy Calabrian pizza (with ‘nduja on side), and fettuchine. First two dishes were great and super interesting, but given the service, our takeaway was that the restaurant overall was not worth the price
The restaurant was bustling, which likely caused the kitchen to be backed up—our dishes took about 40 minutes to arrive. The spicy pizza was a highlight, with a nicely crisp yet chewy crust, which added a delightful kick. The pasta dishes, however, were less impressive. By the time they reached our table, the two pasta dishes had clearly been sitting out on the counter for a while, as the pasta had clumped together into a solid mass, which was quite unpleasant. The linguine vongole, in particular, lacked a nice sauce, so it ate quite dry. Overall, the food was decent but left room for improvement.
Poorly advertised. Did not realize was in the Hilton hotel. Service was okay besides the fact that they charged us for another table that ate 4x more than us and didn’t realize until we said something. Truffle martini was served out of a wine bottle warm. Had to ask for it to be shaken with ice. Besides that it was terrible and the truffle taste was way too strong. We ordered the Italian plate for happy hour and it was also just as bad. Everything was oddly sweet and over salted. Do not recommend.
