A little family business coffee shop. Staff were amazing and friendly. My Matcha iced latte was great as well as my friend's cappuccino with oat milk. When in the areas will return.

Stopped by and got a solid iced latte. Order at the window for take away - no seating! I also got a pastry - some nutella banana thing and bit was, would not recommend, but def stop by for some coffee.
I love this little coffee shop so much. As a new mom of a very fussy baby, I really appreciate their text ahead order system. Today specifically I called when I was parked out front because I was alone with my son and he was asleep. Kristin immediately offered to bring my order out to me. It was a small thing but a huge deal to me. I haven’t tried their coffee but their iced chai latte is so good. I would go Booskerdoo over Slave to the Grind any day.
We stopped by on a whim and couldn’t have been more pleased!! The gentleman working was so pleasant and seemed to rlly care about giving the customers the best experience. The coffee was delish and affordable compared to other shops! All in all hands down the best coffee shop in Bronxville! Will for sure be back:)
Love going for my midday cappuccino! I had their brownie the 1st time I went, and then tried the zucchini bread recently. Both are delicious and very fresh. Why would anyone want to go to that other coffee spot 3 doors down?
My husband and I decided to try Booskerdoo coffee while on our morning walking. The staff is very friendly and attentive. I had the medium roast while hubby had the light roast. We both enjoyed our coffees at a nearby bench. We will definitely be back!
My favorite coffee shop. There are quite a few in Bronxville, but this one is the best. Setting up a house account has been great for getting quick coffee. And now they sell coffee brewing equipment! They were super knowledgeable and helped me replace my broken coffee grinder with a nice upgrade. I love having this place nearby.
I've been going to Ovder for a long time now,. They're super friendly, and I really like their coffee. They have packaged gluten free and vegan food options as well as some yummy treats like the monkey bread. I usually order ahead with a text message and use their house account options to pre-pay, which is super convenient. They also like to give you a candy treat along with your coffee most of the time, which is a sweet touch! Highly recommend.
I love this place, they have great coffee, and they let you set up a house account if you go there a lot, so you can just pop in and give them your name. No inside seating, strictly a take-out counter, but near a small outdoor seating area (across the street) and a walking trail (a couple of blocks away). Also very close to the train station, making it easy to go by as you commute.
The people here are great, and the espresso is so flavorful! I came here on a visit to some friends, and whenever I travel I seek out the best coffee place I can find. This is most assuredly the one. As well as superb espresso there are plenty of great coffee options. They also have a small assortment of pastries, as well as the ever elusive stroopwaffle.

A cozy, family-owned cafe in Bronxville that pours its heart into every shot. They serve beans from Seattle’s Café Vita, and the vibe is sincere—handwritten signs, Pearl Jam lyrics, and a bright red La Marzocco humming behind the counter. It’s the kind of local places deserve support. My cortado came out a way too sour though—likely a grind or espresso machine tuning issue. With a little daily calibration, they could easily outshine the fancy but poorly caffeinated drinks at Starbucks, Haagen-Dazs, and Tous Les Jours just next door.
Very nice coffee shop with baked goods. Came here for the first time & loved it. Just wish there was a seating area or at least outside of the place. The Clyde was amazing! Highly recommend if you love espresso and hot chocolate! I also got the cinnamon monkey bread that was good. No inside seating, strictly a take-out counter, but near a small outdoor seating area that's across the street & there's also a walking trail that's a few blocks away.
A quick stop for coffee in the busy Bronxville downtown. I love they provide a pasta straw. When I visited there were no inside seatings. You order from the small window. Icee latte was good. Friendly staff too.
A wonderful little coffee shop. This was first time here and they was very pleasant and helpful. I guess due to covid restrictions they don't allow customers inside but you can order from the front door. All the staff members I saw were wearing masks. The matcha latte I ordered was very delicious and came with a delightful mint chocolate. Definitely a place I would try again and see what else is on their menu. 01/29/2021

Good coffee but the straws drive me crazy! They break so fast that every time I go I’m like oh yeah, the straws lol. Overall cute mom and pop shop with decent coffee and some quick vegan snacks/desserts but not all of them
I love the brand/owners/company. I’ve had their beans before and they’re really good. And I want to really love their coffee. But I don’t. The reason why I choose small coffee shops over big brands like Starbucks is to a. Support small businesses and b. Because I want actually good coffee. I think if baristas all did a small barista course/had a day to actually train on bar it would really make the coffee better. I find the espresso overextracted, the milk burnt and notice baristas not cleaning the milk jug, not tamping correctly. These are problems that are easily fixed with a quick training session and would really help the consistency of their coffee. There’s been times where the coffee tastes great and then the next day with a different barista, I have to dump out my drink. As someone who managed a specialty coffee shop I know it’s relatively cheap to hire someone for the day to train all the baristas and would immediately fix a lot of issues with quality.

Normally love the lattes here whenever I visit NY. And the staff are really nice! But recently, my order was taken by someone who may have been the owner (?) carrying a baby. And it seemed like he was exasperated when he didn't hear my order the first time or when I had a question about which coffee bean was in the lattes. Tone just seemed like he didn't want to answer questions or deal with me. I thought maybe he had a bad day or it was just too cold out for the baby. But I honestly would have preferred to have been told they were closing early or asked to come back another day. The latte also didn't taste great this time. So overall, was a disappointing experience from a place I usually really like. I was hoping to buy their coffee bean when my current batch at home finishes but not as sure now. :'( They just seemed so unwelcoming this time.
The food is really good, if you sell specialty coffee you should know what it is. A specialty coffee has a ranking from 90 to 100 and official documents. Otherwise it's just false advertising. When I kept asking the same question about the coffee they didn't even know where the coffee is from nor the reading. It's basic coffee bought cheap sold expensive. I did not like that
I’m done. They raised the price of a 24 ounce cold brew from $5 to $7.25 plus tax. I’m now paying almost $16 for 2 coffees. They push a “buy local” narrative, but make it hard with these amusement park prices. To top off the price increase, the owner has a very off-putting personality. The rest of the staff is great though.

EDIT: No, throwing in a ten dollar "stainless steel" container does not justify a mark up of 358.3% for beans. Alright folks, coffee lesson. I very rarely leave one star reviews but I gotta step in here out of principle. Take a look at the beans Ovder proudly displays on their own website — the beans are shiny. That shine isn’t “luxury” or “richness.” It’s oil migration, and when oil sits on the outside of a bean, it’s a sign you’re looking at dark-roasted coffee that’s already degrading. Oil belongs inside the bean. Once it leaks out, oxidation settles in fast. That means the aromatics die, the nuance flattens, and what’s left is the blunt, generic “dark roast” taste of beans that have already passed their peak. Oily beans don’t mean quality - they mean age, corner-cutting, and a roast profile designed to mask mediocre sourcing. Ovder is charging single-origin prices for what are, in reality, wholesale blends from a mass-market roaster (Caffè Vita). No transparent sourcing, no harvest info, no elevation, no roast dates - just a pretty label and the assumption that Westchester customers won’t notice. It’s boutique cosplay. A specialty coffee costume. A third-wave aesthetic wrapped around a second-rate product. If you want coffee that tastes like it came from actual farms instead of a marketing department, look elsewhere. If you want prompt service and informative employees, look elsewhere(I highly suggest Coffee Unique) Ovder is the kind of place that hopes you’re too impressed by the jars and the branding to ask what you’re actually drinking. 55 bucks for Cafe Vita is highway robbery. That's prices you'd expect to pay for an anaerobic signature microlot from Onyx Roasters, not an opaque shop whose website lists exorbitant prices over roast dates.

In order to support a local business I buy my drip coffee beans here and sometimes a coffee. Sometimes I buy my espresso beans here and grind at home as I do drip beans. When my espresso grinder died I had them grind for me for espresso, they ground them on an uncalibrated grinder and pulled 1:2 shot in 11 seconds. Total garbage, then after throwing that bag away I bought another and had to tell the clueless employees to set it to Turkish or in between, they seemed to not even know what 18g in and 36 out even meant, which explains why I always thought their espresso was no good. A friend sent me a bag of beans as a gift and they refused to grind for me, even though they had wasted my money grinding their own beans poorly without even offering to replace when I went back. What an absolute abomination of customer service. I have forgotten more about coffee than this place and they just lost out on thousands of dollars of future business. Absolutely no one seems to understand the concept of being a customer focused small local business. Good luck.
