This place was bustling on a Wednesday night. We ordered a bunch of food to share and the whipped ricotta and truffle pizza stole the show. The dessert was disappointing though - the cookies were too thin and very bitter. I’d suggest to skip that but we had a great time and I would def go back.

We were here for a Friday night dinner with our toddler. This is a nice and warm place tucked inside a building same as the time out market. This place felt effortlessly cozy the moment we walked in - perfect place for a date night. The service is attentive and the staff genuinely makes you feel welcome. We ordered whipped ricotta- truffle honey, eggplant parmigiana, a side of roasted potatoes and a wood fried pizza. Everything tasted good. Whipped ricotta is my personal favorite. Ask for free focaccia bread which tastes amazing with the whipped ricotta.

Pasta dishes were good and beautiful decor inside with views overlooking Brooklyn bridge park. No complaints but nothing really stands out too…

We went with the whole family, and overall the place was pretty good — the atmosphere was nice and the food was excellent! The only downside was our waiter, who wasn’t very attentive and barely paid attention to our table. Despite that, we really enjoyed our meal and I would definitely come back — hopefully next time we’ll get better service.

The atmosphere was amazing. The food was good, but didn’t really match my expectations. I’d have given 3 1/2 stars if possible.The tiramisu was excellent. Being Italian, the meatballs did not measure up, but the Bronzino was very good. It was an interesting crowd, very friendly people.

Went for an early birthday celebration to Cecconi’s in Dumbo and had a wonderful time. The food was good, service was great, and the views were beautiful. One thing to note is that it is located in the same building as the Time Out Market, so we were walking around looking for a separate building for a few minutes until we realized. We appreciated the fact that they were timely, our reservation was set for 7:15 pm and we were outside seated by 7:25 pm. We sat outside in the middle of October and it was not cold, they had heaters set up all around. Our favorite dish was the truffle honey whipped ricotta, incredible! Order their free focaccia bread basket and it goes great with it. Food was good, not excellent but the ambience and the service made up for it. Wonderful date spot / somewhere to celebrate a special occasion! Recommending coming after sunset go get a beautiful view of the bridge.

This place is super nice, especially with its lovely waterfront dining area! The food is fantastic, especially the pasta and pizza. We asked for tap water, but they charged us $11 for a bottle. But apart from that this place is recommended .

The food is kinda expensive for what it is but quite nice upscale vibes by the water, and is good enough. We like the pizza and the pancakes (hot cakes), also the pesto pasta. Love the espresso drinks. Can skip the fried calamari. They don’t seat you unless whole party is there even if you offer to order right away which is kinda annoying

Ever just sit by yourself near the Brooklyn Bridge and watch the boats and people go by? If you’re ever in New York, I know the perfect spot to do it—Cecconi’s Dumbo. Total hidden gem—you kinda have to search for it, but once you find it… wow. Instantly gets added to your list of must-eat places in the city. Beyond the food, the aesthetic is gorgeous—lots of art and the cutest lamps scattered throughout the restaurant. But what really impressed me? Their manager, Elicia. I don’t like kale in my salads, so I asked if I could swap it for lettuce. Not only was she super kind about it, but she personally went to the chef to make it happen. 🙌 I came for the food, but left with a memory full of views and amazing customer service. Definitely stop by on your next trip to the city that never sleeps.

I visited Cecconi’s with my friend and left feeling a little mixed. The space itself is undeniably beautiful, and the view of the Brooklyn Bridge is really something. It looks like the kind of place where the food should blow you away, but it didn’t quite match the vibe. We ordered the Orechiette Arrabbiata, Eggplant Parmigiana, and two Tea Amo desserts. The pasta was alright, but the eggplant parm felt underwhelming, especially for the price. I also wish they had more vegetarian options on the menu. For such an impressive restaurant, the selection felt limited. The drinks were good I enjoyed that for sure. Parking in the area is rough, so plan for extra time if you’re driving. The highlight of the night was the service. Our host, Juan, was genuinely kind and attentive. When I mentioned I didn’t love the eggplant parm, he surprised us with cookies on the house, which I really appreciated. Overall, amazing ambiance and great service, but the food didn’t fully deliver for me.

You’re definitely paying for the view… The service was great, attentive and we were well attended to. However, the food was extremely mediocre and none of the dishes stood out. They have the typical Italian dishes, appetizers, and for the price point that it is, you’d expect something more. Also, I would keep in mind if you’re prone to mosquito bites, stay away from the outside/near window seats during warmer weather. I accumulated a total of 7 bites during the duration of the dinner 😭

Food was great and the view to the Brooklyn Bridge is amazing. We made a reservation with a note to be seated outside and that worked. However, the service was terrible. They took 20 minutes to seat us because “table was being cleaned”, while there were a lot of free tables. After paying, somehow a 30% tip was added to the value, which was noticed after my mate approached his phone to pay. He instantly asked for a refund, as 30% wouldn’t fit the service we got, and then an odyssey started. First, the credit card machine didn’t accept the refund (but accepted the payment in a second). Then, the waiter, who was a bit rude and rushed us to order, had to sort it with the manager what was happening, and at the end and multiple back-and-forth, they couldn’t. This process took at least 25 minutes. The manager ended up showing himself in the table and explaining he did the refund and it would took 2-3 business days to be processed, and if it didn’t, to send him an email. We asked for the email and he had to go back inside to grab his business card, which somehow took more 10 minutes - I wonder why he didn’t came with the card already? Unfortunately, the service sort of ruined a what would be a great experience for us.
