mike's is one of those places where they treat you well - really really well!!! the ladies behind the counter will get you what want and need quite cheerfully - they even helped me out when i was hungry and had no money . . . that goes under the heading of "above and beyond"!!! so go to mike's and check out their great meatloaf ( thursday's only) and their mac and cheese which only goes with beans and franks - i get this every sunday before the football game starts!!! (let the guys mess up up with chips and beer . . . after all they're ONLY guys . . . but DO go to mike's and say hey to to the wonderful staff (even alec!!!)

An excellent deli, friendly attentive staff and consistent quality of food selection. Come for the roast beef! Worth the trip for sure. Not only do they have the best breakfast sandwiches in all of Brooklyn, but their prepared foods are always fresh and delicious as well.

Since CoVid Mike's has been my go-to for delicious food. Staff are great, always pleasant and helpful. Delivery superb. Suggest bakery goods selection be more varied and available. Bring back delicious fresh fruit salad in the warm weather.

OMG! The food is so good! I love the sausage and potatoes. The salads are good. I just had the clam chowder and it was delicious. The women there are very friendly and nice. Even when they're busy they still try their best to help you out.

I get my chicken salad and tuna salad and it's very good but it's not cheap though but nothing is these days

I gave them 4 stars because the puddings arent like they used to be.the cold cuts are very good and the hot food as well.Service is very friendly.

Quality and cleanliness, but the meals much too expensive. If it came with a soup or small dessert maybe. Sandwiches and salads so good. The roll was better this time. That makes for a perfect sandwich.

Love this little German delicatessen, I often get bacon, egg n cheese from here with 2 over easy eggs n when I get them they are always cooked to perfection .. simply delicious, they also have Irish sorts bread which is yummy

Sweet potatoes were not bad but the salad I ordered had a bunch of old slimy lettuce in it and the counter staff were a little short on the friendly side.

WAY OVERPRICED!!! 18 dollars for a roast beef Hero? Owner and manager should be ashamed of themselves.

I just got a salad it was good but the toast bread was very very very very oily so bad oily I don’t know why they can give people toast like that be carful with that I wish I could post a picture of it

9 times out of 10 they will get your order completely wrong but have an excuse everytime more than likely a mentally challenged person is cooking and taking the orders

This is what i paid 100$ for. I called mikes and asked if they could cut up 8 heroes for me the same way a 3 foot hero would be cut when catered. I was promised the 8 heroes cut up that way and i would pay the cost. Including a macaroni salad coleslaw and potato salad. I was hungry so i ate one, but this is a picture of 7 of the 8 “HEROES” I ordered. Never going back. Ask before you pay here.

More than once has delivered the wrong order and then actually admitted that the order they take down is not the same that they write down and give to the kitchen. Couldn't understand why I was upset and said that I shouldn't be complaining to her, that it was the kitchen's fault. So I asked to speak with someone in the kitchen and she refused. If I order a platter, I do NOT want a roll, and if I order a bacon egg and cheese I expect bacon on it. It's what we pay for! Instead of asking me what they can do for me, they should have offered to make it right. Just saying "well I can bring that to you" doesn't really help, as obviously you already got it wrong and actually can't bring it to me.

They messed up my order, didn't even apologize, instead I got screamed and humiliated at!!! The woman who was taking my order should have written down what she supposed to do and not start yelling and blaming me.

Double parking creates dangerous and deadly situations for cyclists and pedestrians. Don’t you guys employ delivery drivers? You clearly don’t care about them either. The entitlement is disgusting.

This used to be a Norwegian deli long ago now, the food was fresh the deli super clean. It's not the same - I brought a mayonnaise jar off the shelf recently , and got home and it was expired, thankfully I checked the date and didn't eat it. The roast beef twice has been overcooked and the role stale. It's unfortunate.

I ordered a Turkey with tomato, lettuce and mayo hero and I paid for it and when I got home and opened it up I found a small cockroach in my sandwich.. I will never eat there again. Groce 🤮🤮🤮🤮

Today I placed an order which totaled $49. Part of my order was for a “medium rare” cheeseburger. I must have said “medium rare” cheese burger 4 times; maybe more. The guy who taken my phone order also repeated it. I also said 3 or 4 times about directions to my apartment because there’s 3 elevators in my building. You take the wrong elevator & you end up somewhere else in the building. The guy had no interest in listening to me nor writing it down. He repeatedly said the delivery guy will call me when he arrives at my apartment. The call lasted about 12 minutes. I’m very patient but it was aggravating having to repeat everything a few times.The guy assured me the delivery guy would call me. He didn’t. The burger was “medium well done” — I called back & that phone call was another 10 minutes or more. I not only told whomever answered the phone about the burger but the guy who took my order talked to me! And then a woman spoke to me. Imagine!! The woman verified I DID order a “medium rare” burger but added that “the cook probably didn’t see that” — unbelievable!! What’s the point of asking for your burger a certain way? No apology from anyone. Very unprofessional; poor manners and rude. A “medium rare” burger was then delivered in its place. After spending almost a half hour on the phone I felt this place had no interest in their customers. I’ll never order from them again. PS — the burger was just okay.
