Great Mexican food but having just one server for the whole restaurant is not good, took a while to get refills on coffee but other than that it was good.

I ordered a menudo to go and it was on point! The food was really good and their service was really fast. And the staff was very friendly.

This is my "go to" place when my son has been eating very little or not at all. I'll order him the Mismos Jr. and he will eat the whole thing! (5 stars from me and my son.)

Los Mismos (The same ones) has always been a good clean place to have breakfast, lunch or dinner. Food is good and the service has been always great. Bistec ranchero plate, the flower tortillas mmmm. I am getting hungry as I am writing this. I really recommend this place and if somebody wants to list an order or plate they placed, let me know so I can order it the next time.

Loved the food except for the tortillas.. they were a bit burned.. The server was okay.. except the fact that she never asked if we needed anything, and we had to be looking for her most of the time to ask for anything.. she did say thank u to come again at the end!!. ..lol. pero todo lo demas estana muy bien!!

The salsa was pretty delicious and flavorful, but not very spicy at all. Our plates came out pretty quickly and at the same time. I ordered Mexican Enchiladas and my wife ordered enchiladas suizas. We both really enjoyed our plates. The rice was cooked perfectly and the beans were as well. The sauce that was on top of my enchiladas was supposed to be a red pepper sauce but the pepper taste was mild. It almost tasted more like tomato sauce, but it was still delicious. Overall our experience was average.

Breakfast was good, usual huevos rancheros with potatoes and beans. Tortillas were huge but quickly dried out and got hard lol.

Capirotada is too sweet, no need to add coconut flakes, try using Brown sugar instead of piloncillo, the gelatina too sweet just regular jello can do.

Service was GREAT, food was good, hot and promptly. I'm from Mission TX and when I work in the Brownsville are I like to come to Los Mismos for some real Mexican breakfast... I strongly recommend it.. Thanks.....(SN)

The food is bland tasting and the tortillas don't seem to be cooked all the way.

The food is good. The service is not.

Service was ok, served the wrong order, and after getting the right one, it wasn't any better, we were on vacation, and when we visit again we will not be going back to this restaurant will definitely not return.

Horrible service and the quality of the food wasn't the best, my gordita was not cooked properly. I ordered two, when I sent it back the waitress didn't ask if it could be substituted with something else. But I was still charged for it. NEVER GOING BACK!

If i could rate this 0 stars i would...unfortunately i cannot comment on the service or the food seeing as they didnt bother to provide it. My wife and i stopped in for lunch around 2pm sat down in the middle of the dining room and waited for about 10 minutes for a server to come with menus. In that time two other guests entered sat down and were given menus and drinks. After making eye contact with a server my wife decided to leave. We will not be returning to this establishment in the future.

Service is horrible. Waitress need to be trained on manners and how to provide good customer service. Food is good but not worth waiting over an hour for it and then receiving attitude by the waitresses.

My girlfriend order a breakfast plate and the eggs were cold also the sausage was not very appetizing. At the end I paid 20$ for this mediocre breakfast.
