We are in town visiting for the week and came across the Local Tavern while we were out shopping. Decided to come in and try it out and we were pleasantly surprised!! Rita, our waitress, was absolutely amazing. She greeted us with a warm welcome and was a pleasure to talk to. We ordered the lunch menu Tavern Burger and fries (added Cajun seasoning) and had their Mozzerella sticks as an appetizer. The burger was freshly measured out and pressed (not a pre-made patty!). All the items we ordered came out warm and were Super Delicious. We will definitely spread the word about this little gem to our family and friends in the area. Additionally, the prices will not break the ban like many of your chain restaurants!! Overall 5 Star/A+ Rating from us!!!

Hands down the best wings and coldest beer in town! Crispy, saucy, and downright addictive, these wings are the real deal. Pair them with an ice-cold pint and the laid-back vibe at the local tavern , and you’ve got yourself a new go-to hangout.

Great food and nice folks! Prices are a bit high. Update: We returned 9 months later. Wow, things have really improved. Added bar seating and a game room with pool tables. Many more menu choices, and prices are now more reasonable. Great lunch specials, and happy hour from 2-6. Vibe feels better, service is great. We will now officially be regulars.

A great place to get some good food and a few drinks. I ordered the Slider Flight, and my wife had the Smokey Pimento Melt. You can't go wrong ordering either of those! And they give you a ton of fries with your meal, and the fries are big and thick! I also saw a hubcap burger on there,which if I remember correctly,is a challenge burger. Something like 20 inches ,a couple pounds of fries and a huge milkshake. If you finish it all it's free,but most people couldn't finish the fries 😁The drink menu was also fairly diverse. All the typical light beers on tap, but also a good selection of local brews including a few IPA's. There's a fairly large amount of seating, several TV's and a game room area that I never got to visit. It's definitely worth checking out if you like to eat local and get tired of the same old chain restaurants.

A wonderful place to have a meal! Our server was so nice and attentive; as a lifelong service worker, I SWOON for friendly servers. The mozzarella stick were KILLER and that marinara had a little kick, it was heavenly. The burgers were nice and juicy. My pimento cheese was absolutely perfect!! Homemade fries will always get an A+ from me. If you are in Bryant, SKIP THE NASTY CHAIN RESTAURANTS AND COME HERE!

This place is great! I did not have the wings, but I hear they are the best. Bring your butts and put them in the seats or out on the patio! You will love it. We had pretzel bite with wonderful honey mustard and cheese. We also had the chicken nachos and the 1 lb. burger. We will be back because the service and food alike are wonderful!

My family and I enjoyed a sitting outside on a rare patio weather evening in Arkansas. This new restaurant is located in the former Crave Hot dog franchise. The Local Tavern has a whole new menu and a family focused atmosphere. Prices are reasonable. They still serve a large collection of ice cold beer. Get the hot wings. Bone in classic, no breading, buffalo hot wings are Very good. This restaurant has the formula to go the distance.

Our first visit was a mixture of smiles and frowns. The fried pickle planks were flat-out delicious, perfectly cooked with a crispy tasty batter. The burgers were almost as good as Dad used to cook, and the fresh made pork rinds with pimento cheese were top of the line. The nachos left a lot to be desired. Lots of chips but not enough cheese dip to cover even a fourth of the plate. Big chunks of raw onion and green pepper made it hard to enjoy, and there were no jalapenos or sour cream as ordered. Nice place to sit and watch a ballgame which we did. Service was outstanding.

Food was pretty good. Southwest salad and bacon bleu cheese burger were both decent, but the bacon was close to burned..They were out of my first choice. Service was friendly and prompt, though she seemed new and a bit tentative. The only real minus was the atmosphere. Definitely no "local tavern" vibes. The space lacked personality and warmth. The sparse decorations had me thinking it had just opened but apparently it's been there for a little over a year. Not bad for a meal but don't go in expecting a "Cheers" experience. Acoustics are not conducive to conversation for large groups

We walked in and were immediately greeted and told we could sit wherever we wanted. Mind you it was 4:00pm, so it wasn't busy at all. We both ordered burgers, which took over 40 minutes to come out. Mine was dry and her sweet potato fries were cold. I'm not sure if we'll give it another try.

We were so excited to try this place because all of the positive feedback we kept hearing from others and the reviews we seen online. When we arrived it was slow. We were greeted and told we can sit anywhere. We sat at a table that was empty but it was dirty. There were leftover food crumbs left over and little pieces of trash. I had to use multiple napkins to wipe the table off myself. Our waitress was great and very kind. We ordered the onion ring tower and mozzarella sticks. They were both delicious BUT we were barely given any ranch and honey mustard. Im not kidding when I say the little containers were filled about 1/4 of the way which was no way enough for the size of the appetizers. The condiments were good but they act like their condiments are made out of gold or something. I seen another review where someone mentioned the same thing about the small amounts they were given. Anyways, we ordered a flight of hamburger sliders and a flight of the chicken sandwich sliders. The main entrees took forever to come out despite not even being busy. Our waitress kept reassuring us the sliders will be out soon but we weren’t that upset considering how we fortunately ordered appetizers to keep us from starving in the meantime. Once we received our sliders, the fries were cold and the texture of them seemed old. They were not fresh at all. My partners burger sliders were a joke. The meat patties were so tiny! We both took one bite of one of his sliders and decided $15 a piece for each entree was not worth it because they weren’t fresh, hot or tasty. I would have been disappointed all night knowing we paid for food we were disappointed with. I didn’t even bother trying my chicken sliders because the patties and topping looked low quality. The portions are very small. Our waitress was kind and understanding and removed the entrees. She informed us that as soon as the cook rang the bell, she grabbed the food and brought it out which is interesting because the food was cold and not fresh so I’m not sure what the cook was doing the whole time. It was a very disappointing experience. We didn’t understand how it could be so bad when they weren’t that busy and after hearing how good this place was from other people. Unfortunately we will not be back and regret not going to the copper mule instead.

After reading other reviews before posting my review, the customer experience is very inconsistent. The experience of my group was not good. The 4 of us arrived a little after 5pm on a Saturday. Not very busy. Ordered 2 appetizers, came out quick and hot. Flavor fine but average. We ordered Catfish sandwich w/ side of tartar sauce, 2 cheeseburgers one w/ side of mayo, and a buffalo chicken wrap, buffalo sauce on the side. Now the tables are filling up quickly. With that, the volume inside increased greatly. (one big room with high ceilings) The person who delivered our orders was not our server. They weren’t familiar w/ what they were delivering. I know this because they had to figure out what was on each plate so they could ask who ordered it. Also, the side orders of tartar sauce, mayonnaise and buffalo were forgotten. After what seemed like a longer time than it probably actually was, we were able to get someone’s attention. Once we started to eat the buffalo chicken wrap had buffalo sauce inside and was hotter than I like. Disappointed for sure.

If I could leave zero star for the food I would. The only thing good was the server who took my order. Went for the first time tonight and let me say the food was HORRIBLE. The fries were burnt. Wings half cooked and soggy. Wasted $30 on food couldn’t even eat. Got there at 850 and didn’t get the food until an hour later. My fault for not looking at the food before leaving as I wouldn’t have accepted it and got my money back.
