Great food and great service

Excellent Restaurant! This specific restaurant is perfect for a family dinner! The staff are friendly and the service was quick! The food and beverages were tasty. The restaurant was clean! On Thursday Nights there is a Magician that will do a few tricks for you at your table and for us his tricked were amazing he made a dollar turn in to a credit card and more! Also on Thursday Kids eat FREE! This is a great restaurant for any time of the day as they are open 24 hours a day 7 days a week!

24 hour Greek diner. The food is always consistent and in good quality. The wait staff is friendly. The dessert carousel is always packed with great cakes and pies. If you're looking for a late night place to eat in the southtowns it's a great stop. They also usually have a good variety of specials during the day as well.

I love this place for a few reasons. First of all, they're open 24/7, which is absolutely amazing. You can come here any time of the day, and order any of the great foods they offer. They make the best desserts you can possibly find past 10 at night. If you're out working late, or just got done partying, this place is definitely worth giving a chance. The whole style is comforting at Gardenview.

Great Quiet atmosphere. Very consistently Great food, Attentive waitresses,. And if you are looking for dessert it is all second to none. There's times where I stop by in the evening just for a coffee and dessert fantastic well worth the trip. Always the go-to place for me. Highly recommend. Mark

This place has been a staple of growing up for me. It was the place to get a shake after shots, coffee at 2 am you name it. Although I have moved away, this is one of those must go places any time I visit. The food is always good, service was friendly. In 20 years I've never had a bad experience.

June.29/30 I'm from Alberta Canada and I've been 2 times. Both in the evening and the food was amazing. No issues and with anything what so ever. There cakes are amazing looking and tall. I've never seen cake like that before. The staff was great and got along well with waiter and waitress and the cook himself. We y'all lol had lots of laughter's and shared amazing stories. I would recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a great place to eat. Open 24/7. The first thing you will see when walking in is there stand of the desserts. Hope to see y'all again. A lol.

Excellent underrated burgers! Fried bologna with a stuffed banana pepper is amazing! Breakfast sausage links hit the spot! Great service! This is a great place to eat morning, noon or night!

The food was very good. My husband had the meatloaf, which he said was as good as mine. And he loves mine. I had the Cowboy Chicken which was moist and very flavorful. And our server, Michelle, was very attentive and friendly. She also has a great sense of humor.

I love eating here!! The staff is super friendly & the food here is reasonably priced. The food tastes delicious as well. When I came here a few months ago, I was having some complications with my physical health almost right after I received my food & I was given a to-go box right away. The people were amazingly helpful & kind. You can tell they care about their customers.

Good service, good breakfast. Every time I’ve gone to Gardenview I’ve ordered breakfast and it has always been large portioned and delicious! The service has always been friendly. Highly recommend.

They're always a go to place for our household. Whether it be for a sit down meal or if we call ahead and pick it up. They always have a huge selection of desserts and I have never ordered an entree I didn't like. Everything is always delicious. Accommodating, friendly staff every visit as well. Most of their portions are pretty big too, so you definitely get what you pay for.

The turkey, cranberry sauce, and stuffing sandwich was fantastic! And the sweet potato fries with their special sauce is so good I have had it about a half dozen times now! I just can't get enough ... Love this place!

They always have great food here. They are keeping the seating spaces apart and it felt safe while we were eating. They have a large plastic sheeting thing blocking the kitchen from the dining area. This is since Covid and for sanitation. Everyone is wearing their masks and complying. I enjoyed my meal, it was nice to eat out.

Excellent as always. Vast menu worth exploring. My faves are the buffalo chicken Mac n cheese, the orange honey salmon, and the stir fry. One of the best places to get grub in the area. Great service, our server even ran out a scarf we'd dropped. I do miss the Asian salad though :-(

My first time here. Arrived around 4am. Seated with a smile by Chrissy who was possible the most friendly and genuine waitress I’ve had to date. Food took a little while but once it arrives I realized why, it was all cooked and prepared with such care. And this place is absolutely vegetarian friendly with a ridiculously large menu. Best diner around honestly and 24hrs!

There was a group of 20 of us and they were able to accommodate us without a problem. The servers were very friendly and attentive to our needs. Our food was delicious and arrived as ordered. It was a great luncheon all around!

My mom said the steak is always cooked just right, and is juicy. The same goes for their chicken. The chicken is always fully cooked, tender, juicy and steaming hot! The waitresses and other employees are very nice, too! Also a nice, calm atmosphere whenever you need a quiet place to eat

Absolute favorite place for a souvlaki they have the best dill dip in all of WNY!!! Chicken is always cooked to perfection!! Only thing I’m actually kind of distraught about is they changed their fries and the new ones taste like they’re from McDonald’s (ew) :((( Sometimes they serve the crumbly coated ones and other times I get the plain cut ones. My friends and I used to come here after team practice 10 years ago just for the fries, we loved them so much!! Half the reason I went there was because they always had those crumbly coated fries and it was SOOO GOOD & if you needed to reheat them the next day they got back to original crispness unlike the fries that they changed to (these new ones like dehydrate in the toaster over and turn to dust) :(( plsss read this message management and bring back the old fries!!! We all miss them!!!! Maybe there could be an option on the way they’re cooked? “Original crumbly coated style vs new style” or something like that for the people who have been going here for decades :)

My wife and I went here for lunch. It wasn't very busy, but the food was very good. I had the turkey bacon cheddar melt and my wife had a berry chicken salad. Both dishes were very delicious. Very clean dining room. The service was very good too.

Ordered delivery through Post Mates. I had the Mushroom Spinach Burger and it was delicious, not only did I have enough for supper time but for breakfast too! My daughter had the Quesadilla, and she enjoyed every bit of it! We were very surprised with the large portions! If we are ever back in the area we will definitely visit the restaurant next time!

Great food. Large portions. Their fried pickles are great. A lot of the apps come with an order of fries so it can easily be a meal. The to-go meals are also always spot on.

We got to take out from here and it was fine. Nothing spectacular, but the price was reasonable and the food was tasty the portions were pretty generous. Again, not a very memorable experience at all. I had to look it up on Google and rack my memory for what this place even was when Google recommended it to me to review. So, I think that tells you a lot about how forgettable this place was.

So here I am, driving back home from a doctor's appointment with a friend of mine. When suddenly he says "Let's eat here, I like it here", and we pull in. Next thing I know, I'm in what appears to be a dimensional rift where this giant building is a train car sized diner. This kid needs all the crayons. An employee has a Russian accent. And suddenly... I'm eating one of the best bowls of French Onion Soup I've ever had. The wait staff was courteous. The food was good. Pricing was reasonable. Portions were huge. On the way out I realized there is also a whole second dining area, so that's on me. I'd go back.

grew up coming here every weekend after church with my family! I love this place for it's memories and chocolate milk! But beyond that I have only had breakfast food and it was always consistent and tasty! I love their homefries!

Staff seemed frazzled by a few questions I asked. But they were legit, tuna was old and she seemed upset I didn't want it (4 days) we had to ask for things we should have got w the meal (like crackers for the soup, gravy for the sandwich etc) but over all dessert was good, food was decent prices were not too bad. Comparing to other places.

The sampler souvlaki salad was very tasty. You get a bit of chicken, beef and gyro in the salad. I loved the combination of flavors, but was disappointed they didn't have tziki sauce. The turkey panini was good and came with crispy, delicious fries. Great lunch specials prices.

We enjoyed our dinner here. I had the Jack Daniels steak, it wasn't my favorite but it was good. Also had dessert since they had such delicious looking desserts. They were also pretty good but I don't believe they are made in house based on something the waitress said. I had carrot cake which I didn't love but it was light on the cream cheese frosting which is personally my favorite part. They are right across from a major truck depot so I'm surprised there wasn't more people. I think there was only 3 other tables while we were there. Overall I would go back. Prices were good and the food was okay as well.

I got the thanksgiving panini. It was pretty tasty. Nice portion for me, but if you've got a larger appetite, this might be kind of skimpy for you. The side salad was good. The raspberry vinaigrette dressing was very tasty. Hubby got the mushroom spinach burger. Generous size, and was juicy, but it didn't have any seasoning on it at all. It was pretty bland.

The atmosphere was inviting and the service was excellent. I ordered the eggs benedict but they were out of Canadian bacon and substituted with sausage patty, I was a little disappointed and there’s nothing quite like the taste of classic eggs benedict. I may have better luck next time!

Good quality sandwich at lunch half decent desserts, not made in house btw, good soups. I had the clam chowder which seemed to be missing a few ingredients like potatoes, salt pork and cream.

Wife enjoyed her salad. I had French Onion Soup. Very watery, barely had a beef taste and no Wine. They added crushed red pepper as well, just so not right I couldnt eat it.

The food was good; I went with my mother. She ordered the meatloaf and I ordered the Pot Roast. My complaint is that the service was too fast. I ordered a salad, which was brought out first, then 2 minutes later my dinner was brought out, so by the time I finished my salad, my dinner was mostly cold.

Only okay experience today. My hash browns tasted old and were burned. Not crispy at all. The avocado scrambled egg breakfast wrap had little flavor. First time disappointed here. However, my mom had awesome bacon and pancakes. I'll balance that with a 3 rating.

Waitresses seemed annoyed when asking them things. Never was checked upon while eating either. Communication wasn't a strong point there at all. Food was very good, prices were fair.

I didn't think the food was all that good. Furthermore, I ordered corn beef hash and eggs. I ended up with a chicken fried patty and eggs. Didn't have time to wait for the correct order so I ate what they served me.

I got the meatloaf. I told her I didn't like it when asked. She offered to get me something else, but my stomach was already upset from the bland taste. To my surprise, when I spoke to the manager or woman running things, she wouldn't even remove it from my bill. The server was awesome, but I will never dine here again because of that experience. Thanks for the burger that my build didn't have an issue with, but how can you go wrong with a burger? I'm never coming here again.

Showed up for a friday fish fry. Place was relatively empty but we still had to wait to be seated. Hostest told us they were under staffed. They went to seat us and I found myself stepping on and over food and trash. The place looked like it had not been swept all day. We were tired and decided to give some grace. We ordered our fish frys "all out of cole slaw". The fries literally tasted like paste and the fish was so greasy I couldn't eat it. Wanted some desert "all out of that too". The waitress was nice and deserves better. We wanted to try this place out. Too many choices to half-step. Do better Gardenview.

Was ok... prices were decent kids eat free Thursday. Place wasn't very clean and our food sat up at the window until the cooks called the waitresses because he was frustrated that it had been sitting so long and the place was dead so there was no reason for it. Food wasn't great.

I sat at the bar at noon. First waitress took too long to come over, then brought coffee and water like I asked. Never came back to take my order. Different waitress took my order. Food came in a normal amount of time. Portion was small, 1/4 of the home fries were burnt. I'm glad I ordered the second piece of toast for the $0.35 upcharge. Coffee was never refreshed. Food tasted decent. There are hundreds of these types of diners in the greater Buffalo area, so they need to drastically improve for me to go back.

Came for kids eat free and magic night (thursdays). The food was just OK. The price was a little steep. Service was good. You have to spend over $10 for an adult meal and get a fountain drink, so you aren't getting any kind of good deal. The kid's pizza was saucy and the cheese fell right off. Magic and service give it an extra star.

We had a group of 8 come in on a Sunday evening. There were very few other guests in the restaurant. Of all the places in Buffalo, my daughter chose GardenView for her graduation dinner, and I honestly wish she would have chosen somewhere else. On the positive side, our server was attentive and friendly. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. Food has usually been good during past visits both here , and I usually come for the eggs Benedict. For dinner yesterday, the breakfast entree, the burgers, pizza, and banana pepper pasta dish were all good from what I could tell. However, the two plates of nachos were half the size they have been in the past (also a dish we always order). We ordered 3 French onion soups, and only 2 came out. The server addressed it as quickly as she could, but when it came out, the cheese charred. I just carved it off, because I didn’t want to complain, but the soup was so salty I could barely eat it. Then meals came out right after. The sesame orange stir fry bowl was too spicy to eat even though there was no indication of a spicy sauce or red pepper flakes in the menu description. It was taken off the bill, and they offered a replacement meal or dessert instead but I didn’t want to be eating while everyone else was done. The was beef on weck was overcooked (no pink at all) and on the dry side (no aus jus), and strip steak was ordered medium but came out well done (again, no pink at all). Everyone else chose to not say anything about their issues, so these were my observations.

The black and blue burger was the most dry burger and roll ever. Meatloaf!! The fake grill marks were laughable. The young waitress shuffled along and didn't pay attention to anything we said.

The food was okay, but the service was less than desirable. In the hour I was there, my waitress checked on me a twice. She didn't ask how my food was, she never asked me if I wanted a refill and she took forever to actually get my order. She clearly wanted to be somewhere else and I will not be returning.

Very disappointed this time. Ordered Eggs Benedict came with homefries, and they were served BURNT, not over cooked, charred black. Told and showed waitress, she did offer to get another order. I did decline, once you have that charred taste in you mouth the meal is over. Dinning room was totally empty so it was not like they were overworked in the kitchen. Have eaten there before and liked the food.

I used to absolutely love Gardenview but I won't be going back again. The last 2 times I have ordered from them they thought it was ok to give me burnt, unedible food. The first time I thought it was just a fluke but twice in a row I don't think so.

We usually like this place but they have for sure gone downhill each time we go back. We went there and the food was terrible. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Finger mac n cheese and a ceaser salad and it was the worst food I've ever had. The pasta tasted like watered down cheese with 1 piece of chicken finger cut up and thrown on top with no buffalo sauce and it was completly flavorless. Then I got the salad and it had bacon bits on it, no dressing and the croutons tasted like pure salt cubes. I asked for dressing and it tasted like fishy mayo. Same thing with my husband's banana pepper chicken pasta just flavorless. The waitress apologized and told me I could take it home and dr it up myself. What a joke! Was definitely not worth the $50 we paid for it! We prob won't ever go back!

My friend and I went there to have a quick bite to eat. It took 45 minutes to get our food. My friend ordered a stuffed banana pepper burger and I had breakfast. We saw her burger under the heating lights and it sat there for 15 minutes. I guess while they where making my food. When they brought our food to the table her burger and pepper were burnt the waitress had them make a new one which took another 15 minutes. They never offered to discount the bill or anything very dissatisfied. Will not be going back there.

Got seated, waited for food to come 25 minutes and then the server dropped all of our food all over the table and floor. We got moved to different table waited again. Food was nice. The server came to us and said ( I don't know what to do about the bill, should I not give a bill !?) We paid the bill. No one came to check on us .

Served burnt food. Offered to remake it but didn't have time. They still charged full amount on the bill even though 1/3 was inedible on 2 different plates. Won't go there again. Plenty of other restaurants in town

A year ago I gave them 5 stars and said: Great place for a quick and delicious meal. Sunday breakfast specials are spectacular, and it's a great place to meet your family because they have seating for larger parties. After an awful experience there last night, they get 1 star. We were a party of 8 with two small children. Our server Fallon was terrible. She clearly neglected to place our order in a timely manner. We watched her put it in about 20 minutes after we had ordered. So it took 40 minutes to get out food. And Fallon refused to acknowledge her mistake and instead blamed us because we asked for separate checks.

To go order (delivery) included drinks that spilled all over hot food! The lid cups improperly bagged with hot food like they were bottles or cans. Hidden in a brown paper bag not aware it was fountain drinks in a cup with a lid cover until they spilled all over the hot food in the bag.

I went for breakfast. The had the nerve to put boiled onions on my homefrys. Waitress was nice but the food wasn't good at all. Tiny portions. There were only 2 other people inside. Now I can see why. Plenty of parking all the way around. I ever be back.

The floor was dirty and took 25 minutes to get a salad, and the chicken on the salad was stringy.

The food is outrageously priced & poor quality at that. $82 for 3 people! Our red skinned mashed potatoes certainly did not taste homemade. The coleslaw had a brown hue to it. The meatloaf was burnt, probably because while our food was cooking the cook slipped under some metal counter, cut his leg & was bleeding all over the kitchen. We should have got up & left then! Then the police & ambulance came. Nothing was done to compensate us for this bizarre experience. Our waitress, Dawn & the hostess were the only palatable thing about this place. I just kept thinking what a time Gordan Ramsey would have if he came here!
