Great açaí bowls and excellent options for bases. Other places normally only have an açaí place so having chia seed bases and coconut milk bases make it so yummy & different. The sizes are fixed prices with basically unlimited toppings which is amazing. My friend and I ordered online. The only downside is that their bowls are extremely overflowed so they can get a little messy! Other than that, great price and worth it 100%

Very delicious! Love the three layers (of I don’t know what they are! 9/17/2023 I got the Palm blend and it is absolutely delicious. It has peanut butter, matcha and açaí! The proportion of all the ingredients are well balanced. Really appreciate the staff today, she is so kind and helpful! 9/23/2023 I tried the Carnaval Blend, the topping is mildly bitter (from the goji berry) but still very pleasant!

Great healthy addition to Burlingame. You can customize your superfood bowls and topping are pretty much unlimited. Nice variety of bases (some of our favorites are mango, coconut, warm cinnamon oats). Very reasonable prices. A medium bowl can easily be shared by 2 people if you aren’t very hungry. I wish they had a few tables inside or outside but on a nice day you can go upstairs and eat at the public terrace.

It was fun going to the soft opening of Palmetto Superfoods in Burlingame (there are other locations in the Metreon, on Union Street, and on Clement Street in San Francisco, with another planned for Santana Row). I learned a lot by speaking with the super friendly and deservedly-proud owner. This location in Burlingame is a really cool little spot diagonally across from Safeway and has a sweet public rooftop sitting area. And I love that everything is plant-based except the honey and bee pollen, but they have a vegan apple honey — which is absolutely delicious — as a superior substitute. Anyway, with a choice of bowls (and smoothies), one could choose a set one on the menu or customize everything with unlimited bases and toppings — as long as it fits in whatever size bowl you choose (yup, I totally went large). I opted for the Bay Blend, but swapped out the strawberries (not really my thing) for toasted coconut flakes (most definitely my thing). The bowl was quickly layered by the friendly employee, who looked like she was excited for her next opportunity to surf, at least in my imagination. From the açaí, pitaya/dragonfruit, and chia pudding on the bottom to the banana and almond butter in the middle to the granola, blueberries, and toasted coconut, etc. on top, it was scrumptious and satisfying. Wanting to try a little more deliciousness, I decided to take a Midnight Beach smoothie to go. Now that I’m gone, I know I’ll be back!

The bay blend bowl here is my favorite açai bowl in the Bay Area. I'm glad that they use vegan apple honey. It's exciting to find a Burlingame location for Palmetto Superfoods.

I got the build your own 3 times now in the last week or so - and I must say the last 2 times were better than the first. The first time I got mango and papaya and both were not good (the papaya was bitter and the mango bits were bad tasting, tough and just not yummy). So these last 2 bowls I stuck with strawberries blueberries banana and topped it with goji berries hemp seeds cacao nibs vegan granola and bee pollen — it was DELICIOUS 😍 and both people who helped me were so kind and sweet 🥰

My husband and I are always on the hunt for the best acai bowls in the country and this was really good! Portions are big and they don’t shy away from putting a lot of toppings on it! My husband was not so convinced of the acai flavor itself as it was a bit icy and tasted like nothing. I kinda agree but couldn’t complain because I put much more stuff on mine (chia pudding, matcha cream)! Make sure to be brave with the combinations so your acai bowl doesn’t get boring 😉😃

Palmetto has grown so quickly! Their selection is amazing and reminds me of the açaí in Hawaii. My favorites are the Bay Blend and the Warrior smoothie. If you’re not a fan of their signature bowls, you can always customize your own!

This is me and my wife’s favorite spot for acai bowls! The ingredients are fresh and delicious. We’ve been coming here since this place first opened up. This month in particular they’re having a special collaboration with a foodie to celebrate Filipino America History month! Super dope. The service was quick and the vibes are always chill here with r&b music. Can’t wait to come back again, the ingredients definitely help my body detox too. Ig@blacktigereats

Fresh and fun. Had so much fun building my own bowl! The options are incredible. Finally settled on a blue chia pudding, acai, and mango base topped with tons of fruit and toppings. So good! Love the fun waiting area. The servings are incredibly generous, so be careful what you order. A small made a great meal. Loved it!!

Been ordering here for the past few months and they are consistent with their quality, ingredients and portion sizes. Even though i order via Door Dash sometimes, it still arrives as if I went and got it myself from the store and I am very happy about that. Plenty of parking, convenient location.

I’ve had palmetto a few times before. Tried the bay blend, warrior’s blend, and make your own but the bay blend is my favorite. The bits are always so good at palmetto and really what makes the whole bowl. I’d get a medium next time however since I think it gets too sweet with the honey in a small size.

I usually visit this spot since it's on the way. I love it here, this specific location is convenient. The vibes, service and of course the bowls and smoothies are amazing. I personally get a custom bowl, since there are so many customizable options! My personal favorites are the acai/coconut base bowls, and the POG (passionfruit orange guava) smoothie. When I'm there, it's usually Ashley who makes my food. Her service is top tier and she makes me feel taken care of! I can tell she makes it with love and she cares about the customers! Would definitely recommend this spot for anyone in the Burlingame area!!

i went in their own day and one of the workers playlist was playing oldies, it really contributed to the atmosphere, i wanted to ask for the playlist but i got shy. the food is amazing here as well as the smoothies, the bay blend is my favorite, as well as the black smoothie and the pink one

Delicious and fairly priced. They have featured items but they charge by bowl size, not toppings. You can create your own with 5 toppings or 10 toppings at the same price. Unlike other places around the area, which only give you few items with higher price.

I am a Palmetto fan! I’ve been to Palmetto Inner Richmond and Cow Hollow in San Francisco M-a-n-y times. When I discovered Palmetto’s Burlingame shop, I was super happy. It’s huge compared to the City shops. I ordered a custom smoothie with everything I love. It was delicious! Another day I got a custom acai bowl…eat a rainbow of food. It’s great to get fresh fruit and add ins that taste good and are healthy too.

I love the bowls here, you always get fresh ingredients. They are usually pretty busy and it can take somewhat long to get the order. Today I had ordered a large bowl but got a medium instead. I only realized that as I sat down to eat after reaching home. This kind of service makes me sad and hence the average rating.

Stopped by after a workout yesterday 6/1/25 and was VERY disappointed with the portion size. I have always been a fan of this location and their yummy açaí bowls but I ordered two bowls for pickup yesterday and was super disappointed. The base is only filled halfway up the container. The toppings don’t even go past the top of the container either. I compared this to a picture of an açaí bowl I had last month and it is a HUGE difference. After spending $25 on two small “16 oz” bowls, left feeling ripped off and super unsatisfied. Do not recommend.

Came here for the first time and was severely disappointed. We came up to the front and were told that the kiosk was down and that we could order through the QR code. We decide to do that because it was our first time and we needed to look at the menu for a bit before putting our order in. However, when we finish our order online it says that they are not available it will not be available to pick up until around 40+ minutes after the order is placed. The place did not have any people at the moment so we go up to the front to tell them we ordered online but asked if we could have them make it sooner since we were already there and they were not busy. They agree to this and ask us for our order information. We give them the name that we ordered with as well as what we ordered. We ordered a medium make your own bowl and a warrior smoothie. They said they could not see the contents of our make your own bowl and asked us to repeat our order to them. We did as they asked and went to sit back down and wait for it to be made. An hour passes and we are still waiting. More people begun to come inside the store making it busier than earlier and we noticed that the people who just started ordering were getting their food before us. We went up again to ask if we can get a refund instead because we had to wait so long and that we did not want the food anymore. They showed us our order which was underneath the counter and said they made it earlier and called out the order number despite us giving them our name for the order twice. I did not have an order number to refer to and figured they would have just told us by our name because we already came up to them twice. It was already melted so we decided to just get our money back and not take the smoothie and bowl. There is a very severe understaffing problem at this location and I would not recommend it to anyone. The staff are also not very helpful, friendly, or cooperative with their customers. Never had I experienced this bad of customer service and I do not see myself coming back. Just go to Everbowl.

I ordered and paid online for an açaí bowl, but the store had run out of açaí when I came to pick it up. Neko, the staff on duty, said he would process a refund, but it still hasn’t gone through after two days. I also emailed the manager with no reply. I really hope someone from the store can follow up soon to resolve this and issue the refund.
