Really like the food here. Lunch imenu always has something delicious to choose from. Service is great to. Never to loud to enjoy interacting with others while eating. I like that.

New find for us. We were just out for a long drive and saw it was open. Inside and outside seating. Food was delicious excellent and our waitress was very nice and helpful. Would definitely stop again if in the area.

This is the second time I have done lunch here and it definitely won't be the last. Very creative touch to some lunch time staples. The grilled cheese crabcake sandwich with homemade chips was worth every carb!

Great brew pub in the heart of Canandaigua! We just had dinner there. Great food and excellent beer selection. Despite being short-staffed the wait staff was still very attentive and friendly. Great beer, great location and great food. What more could you ask for in a brew pub!

So delicious. We kept drooling over different things in the menu, it was hard to settle on a choice. The appetizers were especially yummy, we got the boom boom shrimp and the Irish egg rolls. Excellent selection of beers and wines too. Will definitely be going again.

We had supper in the small dining room. The architecture and decor are both traditional and the atmosphere is comfortable. The service and food were both good. I had the Friday fish fry, a generous portion of haddock with a really crispy beer batter. It was hot and tasty and very satisfying

Every time I go, I go between 4&530 on a random day of the week and everything I order is always delicious. This time we got wings (cooked perfectly) Nectar Chicken Sandwich with Sweet Potato fries OUT OF THIS WORLD DELICIOUS. The worker plate - good just like last time. Our kids got pizza & Mac and cheese and they were good. Also, the blue cheese is made in house and is DELICIOUS and chunky!!!

We came in during the day during the Fire and Ice festival. Melody was the only one working and it got increasingly busy. She handled the whole crowd with amazing agility and every single person was acknowledged at their arrival. I am a retired bartender/server and she was impressive. Phenomenal energy, thanks for sharing it with us.!

We’ve been here a couple of times (once for dinner and another for brunch). Both times the food and service have been excellent! Melody makes a great Bloody Mary and she is sooo friendly! We will definitely be back!

Great experience! Decided to check them out this evening. We were warned when we came in that they were busy so service would be slow. With that in mind, we sat down to socialize and relax. Service turned out to be prompt and responsive. Great beer selection and food arrived timely despite the warning when arrived. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Prices reasonable for what we received. Would definitely go back.

Mel and the crew here are the best! I've been coming here for years. My favorite is macaroni and cheese and hot dogs! Everyone has always been very kind to my family and we plan on coming here until they close the doors.

I’m excited to find a local place that is really willing to try vegetarian pub food. They recently added the Buffalo Artichoke Hearts, which were fantastic, and the fact that they are offering new and improved vegetarian options is a good sign. We also had the Fried Pickle Chips which were very good. The Vegetarian Wrap needed a little salt, but I would definitely get it again. The Wrap included mushrooms and artichokes, but maybe didn't have as much tzatziki sauce as it should have, I dipped my half in the leftover blue cheese sauce and it was delicious. They could consider adding a dipping sauce, soy sauce or some type of dressing to it in the future. I will be back to try the other vegetarian options like the Buffalo Chickpea Wrap, Spicy Fried Green Beans, and the Veggie Burger which is topped with smashed avocado. Our waitress also mentioned that we could substitute a veggie burger for any of the burgers on the menu. They have a large beer menu. Nice that you can get a flight here, but it was pretty pricey, the pints were reasonable though. Service was great too. We’ll be back.

Nice variety of beers, good menu with generous servings at prices that don't break you! Fun atmosphere that appeals to more than just one age. TVs had on sports that interested more than one area . Waitress was very busy but maintained a great sense of humor thru it all. Good service despite the crowded dining rooms . We met relatives from Rochester and found it a good place to meet and visit over good good!!

Our favorite spot for some casual grub, and a few tasty beers. [and a few kids meals!] This has recently become our go to, and I feel that the menu is the best around for bar food, and beyond! The pizzas, the burgers, and we cant go without getting the Rubin themed eggrolls! Great casual atmosphere, easy to bring the kids and plenty of space.....

I can see the place from my front door and had never been in before. The place was packed unusually for a Wednesday Eve, but they maintained a pleasant atmosphere. The bartender was great even tho he was quite harried with guest and server orders and running out of glasses. I got take out and the burgers and chips were terrific.

I'm a beef rancher from South East Idaho. This may have been the most delicious hamburger I've ever eaten. It was absolutely wonderful. Full of flavor.

My husband and I came here for dinner recently (from Springwater). This place is warm and inviting. The staff is very welcoming. All around, we had a great experience and look forward to coming here again in the future.

Picked up our take out last night: wings, home made chips, salad. EVERYTHING was delicious. I haven't had wings that good in a long time. Mine were plain, theirs were flavored, but everything was absolutely delectable. Many kudos. I will order again from them.

I love eating here so much! As someone who cannot eat Gluten, the fact that they have so many gluten free options is awesome! The staff is always very friendly when I go in, and the food always comes in a timely manner (except for one time, but out of the 10+ times I've been there it really isn't that bad). All in all, the food is good, the atmosphere is nice, and the staff is awesome. Would definitely recommend!

I’ve lived in the area for quite some time, but I had never visited the Beehive. My honey wanted some lunch after shopping so we stopped in for a quick bite. I loved the historic vibe of this cool building! It really had a lot of character! I was amazed at how many specials they had for a lunch hour, and everything sounded really great! Interesting and unique flavor pairings that sounded fantastic. I had gone in craving some fish tacos so I was excited they were on the menu! My honey had the Reuben. The food came out quickly and was super delicious! We were not day-drinking, but the bar looked well stocked with a large selection of draft beer. Tracy was a pleasure to chat with and the environment was warm and friendly. Prices were reasonable - With a lot of options on the menu! Will definitely be back again!

We ordered pick up on valentines day and the food was really good! Times were great, everything tasted fresh, and all the workers we interacted with were very nice.

Had lunch with friend. The chicken terriacki salad was delicious. I'm going back. She had tuna sandwich which they accommodated a melt for sandwich and she loved it. Wheat berry bread i think, looked great. I had looked for a local lunch restaurant with good salads. Most restaurants didn't open until 4. I highly recommend it. Kudos to staff and chef.

I have been here 4 times and each time has been delicious. Each time I make a visit I have to get the fried pickles! They are the best I’ve ever had because of the extra crispy coating they use. My main meal I had the jalapeño popper burger and it was amazing. The salt and pepper bun was a different twist. Our waitress was friendly and prompt with our drinks and food. My husband ordered a burger as well and enjoyed it. The chips he ordered along with the burger seemed to be homemade. Unfortunately, I don’t have a picture of the fried pickles because we attacked them when they arrived at our table! The Bee Hive is a local place with a variety of bar food but has not failed us yet!

Fun and creative place - staff were fast and friendly. Definitely a good spot for lunch, groups, family get togethers. You will smile once you see the options for the kids - with creative food selections with a bee twist attached to most things on the menu. I am sure if I am in the area that I'll bee back.

Food was really good, but that is really it, beer was ok, but tasted funny, literally had the same beer here that I did two nights before at a different place and this one was just not right. Service wasn’t good, but again, the food was. I would come back because the food. Plus the plates and silverware were dirty, which was what the beer tasted like, dirty taps.

Took my parents here to eat for a mothers and fathers day dinner on a Sunday night. Service and atmosphere was great, food came quickly. My mom ordered a guacamole salad, dad ordered a wrap and i ordered wings fries and pretzel sticks. My moms salad came back with the end of a romaine stalk in the salad and the guacamole was brown. She was immediately turned off and asked for it to be returned and they made her a new salad but still wasn't very good. My food was great! The wings were fantastic and my dad liked his wrap. The man at the bar who served us was very accommodating but I think for a 13 dollar salad that still wasnt very good it should have been free. We will give it another try some other time.

Very tasty food and a good beer selection. It's nice that it's off the main drag and there is a huge parking lot across the street. I wanted to order a dozen different things but alas, I'm not a manatee and had to limit to an appetizer and entree (which I took half home). The staff was very friendly and polite.

I like this place. It's laid back. Great burgers. The first time I was there I gave 5 stars for the french fries. The second time was okay but I had the best before that! Great to stop on a nice day and eat outside. Bikes and Hot Rods have good visible parking. Will give 5 stars if I can get those fries I had the first time. Lol! Tuesday happy hour is good. Randy is a good bartender. I ordered dinner. I had a strip steak, mash potatoes and jalapeño popper egg roll. I enjoyed my meal. People were friendly and easy to carry on conversation.

Nice basic drink selection. A variety of appetizers to pick from. The Boom Boom shrimp is tasty. Food menu should satisfy most everyone. The service is good also.

Very loud and "dive bar" mixed with sports bar feeling which isnt my thing. We only went for a drink and sat at the bar, the food looked and smelled amazing, but one waiter seemed really grumpy and as he was clearing tables he kept putting dirty glassware directly in front of me and huffing even though there was a lot of empty space on either side of us. Turned me off to going there again

Pizza was tiny and looked like Digiorno from a box. Wings took for ever and were dried out no flavor. Place wasn't even busy. Took well over1/2 hr for appetizer.

Hmmm.. outdoor seating with shade was nice, waitress was nice. A little bit long of a wait for the food especially to see it once it came out. This is the kind of place you go to after you get drunk on the boat all day and are so starving you don't even care what you eat as long as it's food. There was hardly any lettuce on my salad, chicken was cheap and eh, avocado was strange. The fish and chips is not fresh fresh. The fried shrimp are not large/jumbo just cheap freezer shrimp like what you would buy at Walmart. 100 dollars for a family of 4, no drinks either, Just water. Wish we would have just gone to kix

Tasted like freezer food... Both the broccoli and French fries cost extra and they tasted like they came straight from the deep freezer. The honey garlic chicken wings were served in a pool of grease. The burger that cost $18 (that included the up charge for freezer fries) was fine but nothing to rave about. Our server Kim was excellent and they had a good selection of beers! The bee hive concept has great potential but the food needs to be a bit more fresh.

Room was very cold, it was slow service for a slow night, and the food wasn't that great.

Willing to go back and try again. The menu had several things I was interested in trying and I ordered the veggie pizza. It looked pretty and had plenty of ingredients. But it was either undercooked or the dough was not prepared properly. It was very wet with a pool of liquid underneath it. I’m going to assume that it was just a one off bad pizza and come back and try another entree.

Terrible terrible kitchen service. Went on a quiet evening and our food came out in 15 minute increments so none of our group had our food at the same time. The fried green beans and pickles were good and the drinks were served promptly by the wait staff but the other food was mediocre .

We disagree. AT best it would get 2-3 stars and not recommended. Cold limp fries. A burger cooked way more than it was asked for and served on the wrong roll. I asked for lettuce and onion. I got wet soggy lettuce not even big enough to cover the burger which I did not even put on. The onion was cut with a dull butter knife almost to fat to use. I had to re slice it at the table. My home made chips were almost as bad as the fries, Some were barely cooked and the rest were partially crispy and soggy. No excuse for this poor order. We will not be returning.

Food was OK, had terrible service. Server kept forgetting items and also asked how we wanted the TURKEY Burger cooked...it's poultry.....We also got stuck at a tiny table right next to the utility/storage room that really shouldn't even be there or offered to guests as a place to dine. Dining area could use a good cleaning, especially windowsills.

We came in and was told to sit wherever. Unfortunately no one came to wait on us for over 10 minutes so we left. We'd been there before a couple years ago and I remembered it being really nice. I wasn't too impressed this time around.

Beer menu was pretty good, and had many options. However, our food was screwed up, and the meals tasted horrible. The fish tacos were so bland and flavorless, and the chips that came on the side were just plain bad. They would have been better off putting a mini bag of chips on the side. Everything I ordered initially was out of stock, and I was told so only after waiting 10 mins for my food. The wait staff and the bar were great, and honestly the saving grace from a 1 star review, but the food needs a lot of work.

My husband and I thought we'd try a new restaurant and this place seemed to have a high rating and their menu looked impressive and artisanal. We were wrong. It wasn't very busy when we got there but it seemed like there was only one waitress covering every table. She was busy so we didn't see much of her after she took our orders. We ordered the calamari at around $14 as a starter....by the time that came out, it was cold. Not sure if that's because it sat in the kitchen for a while or if they didn't cook them long enough from out of the freezer. They were thick/hard and chewy and the marinara sauce that came with them was almost gelatinous. We waited and waited for the rest of our food. I ordered the Cali Burger and my husband ordered the mahi mahi tacos. We both swamped the chips out for fries at an extra charge and I also ordered the Mac and cheese as a side. Once the food finally came out, my husband was given the wrong order and my plate came out with rotten lettuce and tomato (literally brown) on the side. The egg on the burger looked like plastic and it had two 1in strips of bacon. Neither of us got more than a toddler size handful of fries...that we paid extra for. And the Mac and cheese side? For $4, it came out in a 2oz cup and had hard cold noodles. Meanwhile, no one could seem to be bothered to refill my water or soda the whole time so I stole my husband's. On top of it all, I went to the bathroom and there was no toilet paper! Luckily another women walked in and threw some under the stall for me. I'm giving this place two stars because the burger itself was tasty and cooked well and my husband enjoyed the tacos although it wasn't what he wanted and was a little underwhelming. Other than that, we had such high hopes for this place that turned out to be a huge disappointment.

Only popped in for a drink. Local “townie bar” but they have a cocktail menu…don’t have a cocktail menu if you don’t specialize in cocktails. My Martini was way too sweet and flat (was supposed to be topped with sparkling wine). Husbands whiskey and ginger was also not good. Overall townie atmosphere but was not clean and definitely not A place I’d want to eat at. Has potential and seems to have a good crowd just really not for us.

There was only one server on so I felt bad but she only had 2 tables. We were one of them. It took us over an hour to get our food and we were there for almost 2 hours all together. They charge you 2 dollars to substitute fries and then they only give you like 8 fries! I had one little baby slice of avocado on my tacos.. I'll never go back. And my father in-law had lipstick on his beer glass lol

This menu was very promising. Such interesting options, but the food was very very mediocre, nothing I would finish, or come out of our way for. My app was served on a broken plate. Service was ok, but the atmosphere was not what you would expect from a brewery. It was dark and dirty. When we walked in, we almost turned away and in hindsight I should've listened to my gut.

Today my mother and I dined at this restaurant, and unfortunately, we were very disappointed with our experience. My mother specifically asked for her cheesesteak sandwich to be well-done, yet it arrived clearly undercooked. It was disappointing to see such a clear request ignored. What was even more disturbing, however, was the hygiene issue. While we were eating, my mother noticed a spider on me. We were seated by the window, and when I looked more closely, I saw multiple spiders and spider webs along the window area. It was extremely unsettling and completely ruined my appetite. If the dining area is in this condition, it raises serious concerns about the cleanliness of the kitchen. Cleanliness and attention to customer requests are basic expectations in any restaurant. Sadly, neither was met today. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves their hygiene standards and service quality.

Overall the food was mediocre, but that’s not my complaint. You would think that after 2 years of a pandemic when at times there was only takeout that restaurants would have a process but I realize things happen. Ordered food for takeout on March 4, 2022 and didn’t get everything in the order. Still not my complaint. Called after we got the food home and found 2 missing items. A meal and a side. Called back and they offered for us to Come back and get the items which was appreciated but really unless you are next door who’s going to go back out. They agreed to credit me for the missing items and wish that had been the end. So now it’s April 2nd and not only have they not credited me but it is IMPOSSIBLE to talk to anyone who has the “authority” to address the issue. I have called 4 or 5 times. A couple of times with a promise of a return call but have not heard from anyone. When I called yesterday I was told the person who can help me works on Wednesday’s from 11:30 to 4. That’s hilarious. The ONLY person who can help with an opissue works for 5 hours on Wednesday. At this Point I just want to be credited for the entire meal for $80.00. Take your business elsewhere. I certainly will.

45 minutes for a cold cheeseburger and cold tater tot’s. The bartender waitress seemed totally fine with whe I told her to thank the cook for my cold food….I should have just flushed $45 down the toilet, what a waste, find a good place to eat pass this one up!

Decided to check Bee Hive out today and was very disappointed. We ordered nachos w chicken to start. For $14, you expect more than shredded cheddar thrown on top (not even melted) cold diced chicken, some chopped unripe tomatoes, sliced olives and jalapeños. Waitress was busy so we never got a chance to tell her. Thankfully we hadn't ordered entries yet so we paid and left. Probably won't go back.

I used to come here alot. Have never had an issue, but it's been a while. Precovid maybe. I have never had such an experience. One person working, which I get, I used to work retail, I understand the struggle for sure. Our orders were wrong. Like three of four, but we couldn't say anything because we never got rewaited on until we had too, 20 min later, say something, the food got remade and the bell kept ringing that it was done but no one went to get it. The kitchen came out to say it was done. We asked for water, got nothing. I am not about to flag someone down because that's even more rude. The list goes on honestly. But there isn't alot open out here on a Sunday and it was disappointing.

Usually they're okay but lately they've been paying so little attention to their food orders they can't even get something as simple as nachos correct, last week I ordered nachos with beef no olives, i got olives. This week I ordered the exact same thing, nachos, no olives with beef. I didn't get any beef. I asked them to correct it and got attitude saying I didn't order it with beef, you asked me "chicken or beef?" I said beef would be great. Don't argue with your customers when you don't even bother to write things down. Its unreal how much the quality of beehive has gone down. In good conscience after many years I can no longer recommend the beehive.

If I could leave no star for this place I would. The service is horrible!!! We had to approach the bar for our own drinks bc no one was checking on our table. No one even asked us if we wanted to see a menu, we had to ask for our own (and even then we only got 1 menu for a table of 4). Food took forever to receive once ordered and half way thru the meal the price of the drinks increased. I asked why the change in price on the drinks and the male bartender explained that the bartender before him was charging us that but she was off duty now. That he was charging us something different. I was APPAULED by the fact the bartenders can change the price like that. And personally made it known I was unhappy. We then, asked for our check!! We were not willing to spend anymore money after finding this out. We personally witnessed the same male bartender disrespecting customers that approached him trying to pay for they're check bc they were also unhappy with the service. He proceeded to cuss them out and kick them put even tho they were trying to leave. As my group was leaving this same male bartender came outside and proceeded to gripe at us about not being happy with our service or the price of the check. Very unprofessional, and what made this all worse is that he kept name dropping the bar owners name the whole time saying that "they would back him up on the changes" I wonder if that's true?!?!

Me and my girlfriend had went week ago on a Thursday night. And they told us that they are low staff. And could not survive us. There where tons of tables open. So we try again today. They where busy. But they sat us down fast. We ordered drinks that took long to get. And we ordered food. They table next to us got sat down 20 mins later. They got there food. And are waiter said that they just started our good. They had 6 people. It was 2 of us. So we just ask for the check. 21 dollars for 2 salads that where size of our hand. And pickles chips that had probably 10 of them. And 2 pops. Worst place lately. Had good experience before, months ago… now I’ll never go back. Wish I didn’t have to leave even one star.

Food was way too salty! French fries would have been more enjoyable if they had less salt! Asked them to see if they would make a fresh batch without salt. They ignored me. Said that’s how it’s done.

Never written a review but felt the need to for this place. I grew up in the restaurant business, so I “get it”. However, if I could give 0 stars I would. Ordered finger food, can’t really go wrong.. except the sour cream was old and had mold on it. Ordered a scotch ale, no head and very flat. Sent it back after one sip and requested a bottle of Bud Light instead. Received the bill and when I asked for the Scotch Ale to be replaced for the Bud Light I was told “You ordered it, my boss said to keep it on there”. Server station was 2 feet away so the entirety of our dinner was listening to a staff member complain about having to stay late for a football party she took. Multiple staff members sitting across from us eating their own food, then serving tables… one staff member 2 beers deep in my 45 minute visit. Wanted to try some place new today and it was a let down. 0/10 recommend. Dirty, rude and unprofessional.

So I write this as I sit here & eat. Tonight I’m not sure if it was the women working the bars bad night . Which we all have those. However, probably one of my worst experiences at a restaurant to date. It is 4/24/23 this was suppose to be my birthday dinner. We got the tater kegs. I won’t suggest. 4 little overrated glorified tater tots for 12.99 . WTH. From the get go the service was subpar. I get it’s just her there. Which I’m normally understanding as I work in food service. However we were nice & we asked for gluten free options for my step mother . Which they have & that was awesome. We asked about the fries. That the menu states is “FRESH CUT FRIES” well that’s a lie . Lady working the bar said they are potato’s & come in frozen. Not only that we asked if they were gluten free. If they were fresh they would be. We wanted to know just in case. Because when they are frozen they could be packed with fillers when frozen. We got lots of attitude. She said “They are potatos” with lots of sass. That’s fine. That’s besides the point. Worst experience tons of attitude from lady working the bar. Won’t be back. Food was great but didn’t make up for the service from her. Especially when we pay over 100 dollars for a meal. It makes or breaks a place for me. Especially with all the crazy food prices.

Family and I came here for lunch and the service was not great. We waited over an hour and did not get out entrees. We only got our drinks and our appetizer. Other guests received their entrees before us and we were there before them. Really disappointed on the service

Beer selection is great, however bartender who has served me twice turned me away and claimed “no out of state IDs”. Felt like I was being framed as underaged despite being served there before. Oh well, if they let you drink their stuff is good. Just bitter about that

We have been happy Beehive Restaurant customers for years. Today’s visit was a disaster! We were a party of eight hoping to celebrate Mother’s Day. It took an hour to be served in a restaurant that was only half full. The waitress avoided us throughout our long visit. Most of our food was sent back, the owner ignored the mask mandate. Waitress blames the kitchen, kitchen blames the waitress. If it were possible to give less than a one star rating, I would. Too bad. It used to be such a great spot to share a meal with friends and family.

We went for a fun lunch. We ordered 3 sandwiches and a salad. After an hour and a half of waiting for our food, we left annoyed and starving. We could hear people arguing in the kitchen and the service was bad. Barely any customers were there. All of the customers that were there were all served before us.

Went as part of a party of 5 for dinner and experienced a comedy of errors. After an hour of waiting for our food one of us went to inquire about it's status and we received our food, cold, 10 minutes later. My girlfriend ordered the Cali burger-- it was topped with a partially raw egg (even the white was raw, runny, and transparent) and the burger itself was burnt (she was not asked how she would like it cooked) and prepared without a hint of seasoning...not even salt. She also found two long hairs in it. I ordered a salad topped with a burger--I received it without a burger, and when asked if I would still like a burger, I replied that I would (or chicken, or any protein they had available). I finished the salad with no sign of the promised burger. My parents ordered fish tacos which were brought out ice cold without the fries they ordered. My aunt ordered wings Buffalo style, which were hilariously brought out plain with some sauce pooled in the bottom of the basket...I'm sorry, but how hard would it have been to toss them in the sauce? Of note: we received our first drink order and were well finished with no attention from our waitress. We frequently saw her chatting with the table behind us (they appeared to be friends of hers) and even drinking in the kitchen. One of us went to the bar and sat there for some time before they were noticed. The bar was often devoid of a bartender and once to our great amusement we watched as a 10 year old looking boy walked back there and made himself a drink. The worst thing about all this is that I was the one who recommended this place. I remember years ago when they first opened and they were actually decent. I have been experiencing successively worse meals here culminating with tonight's debacle, and unfortunately I now need to warn people about this place. This all could've been smoothed over if the waitress or any staff acknowledged the unacceptable service we received. We were served our check (we had to track the waitress down and ask for it or we would've been there all night) with no apology or attempt to make amends, unless you count not being charged for the burger I never received (I'm ok; I made myself a turkey sandwich when I got home). If you do not make any apologies, attempt to make amends, or even acknowledge you were sub-par, then customers are left to assume your behavior is the norm. If this is the norm, I most definitely will not be returning, and neither will anyone I know who desires even a barely acceptable experience.

I asked about if something had egg in it as I have an allergy and the waitress said she didn't know and the cook wouldn't know. Which made no sense to me, is the cook not making the dishes? Then I ordered a salad and she brought me a salad with mayo in it and acted like she was doing me a favor by not adding it to the bill. I didn't even want to order anything else because the food just looked gross. My poor husbands chicken sandwich was inedible but he was too nice to say anything. On top of this the place was dirty, and the service was insanely slow despite it not being busy. Horrible service, and disgusting food! We came here on a night of a concert and wondered why this was the only place not packed. Now we know! Waste of time and money.

The establishment was not very clean. I found hair in my chips, and the plate provided for shared appetizers was stained and dirty. The strong odor coming from the dining area was also unpleasant. Overall, I didn’t feel comfortable eating there.
