Great staff, plenty of parking, plenty of seating inside. I don’t know what makes Tom Wahls so different than your regular fast food chain restaurant, but their burgers and sandwiches are the best! Friendly and prompt service. Our last visit my son ordered a burger and I the grilled chicken sandwich. The fries and sandwich were delicious. I would definitely recommend a stop here!

Came here for the 1st time the other day and I was impressed with the ground steak burger. I also got cheese curds which were soo good. Then I tried the chocolate milkshake. If I still drank soda I would have tried the root beer float or something but this place has my recommendation for anyone who wants to try something new. I will definitely be back and I may bring my daughter.

Gotta love old school burgers, fries and shakes! Burgers are absolutely juicy and delicious paired with the crispy crinkle cut fries and ketchup all washed down with and smooth and creamy Abbots chocolate shake! Can't go wrong 👌

I moved to the area almost 10 years ago, and for some reason, I never visited a Tom Wahl's. Huge mistake on my part! I used to go to the Burger Shack in Victor till they closed. Never knowing that right down the road from me was a haven for a true burger lover. I ordered the Wahlburger with bacon to start, I'll tell you right now I'm absolutely coming back for the Big Bopper, and the onion rings! But what really impressed me were the employees. I asked for salt from a young man, he promptly said where it was, as he was walking towards it. That's not a common occurrence, especially when it comes to fast food. Every person working behind the counter genuinely wanted to make sure I enjoyed my visit, never knowing it was my first time. Congratulations to Steve Kasmar, the manager, listed on the front door. You have done an incredible job with your staff, I will be back. Art Harris

lots of food but expensive for basically fast food. Burger bubs a little dry but the burgers are tasty. Atmosphere is cool but who wants to sit at a table in the middle of a wide open floor? As expected the booths along the walls fill up first. Service is great.

My wife and I love Tom Whals. We go fairly often and we usually have a great experience. I was ready to write another 5 star review, until my wife found a hair in her burger and kind of ruined it. We love the food, the people, and the atmosphere of every Tom Whals we’ve been to. This is not to discourage people from going to Tom Whals, this is just a message to Tom Whals in Canandaigua to be more careful when preparing our food. Now, putting that aside, I will still review the food because it is delicious. My wife is a fan of the Whalburger and she is never disappointed. She loves it. Personally, I prefer the Hollywood burger, a little Mayo goes a long way on a good burger. The fries are crispy and tasty, and you get enough that my wife and I usually share an order. The root beer is a very sweet vanilla flavor that we both treat like our dessert.

I really wanted to like this place. The fries are so bland a bucket of ketchup couldn't help them. The burgers are bland and the only thing that does come through is grease. The employees seemed dazed and confused aside from one gentleman. We got the custard and immediately threw it away from the random chunks of God knows what throughout. My children enjoyed the chicken tenders and root beer. Honestly, just go to Five Guys instead.

I have no idea why people think this place is good. The fries were just crispy but tasted like musty potatoes on the inside. Kids hot dog was not pleasant. Grilled chicken sandwich had no seasoning and the jalapeno burger had no seasoning on the patty. They don’t believe in flavored food apparently. Overall meh.

I called tonight to place an order for pick up and whoever answered the phone was pretty rude. I asked for the pick up to be a little more than an hour from then. I get there 5 minutes after the pick up time just to allow them a few more minutes. I approached the counter and gave my name for the order. The girl working said there wasn't an order for that name and asked if I used another name. I told her no that I didn't have another name to use. I told her I ordered 2 burgers, 2 Mac salads and a chilli cheese fry. She found that order but under the name earl. Idk how the guy could have messed that up seeing how I spelled my name for him twice. I know it wasnt the girls fault and she was very pleasant and professional. I paid and left. I got back to the Hotel to eat and I noticed the guy messed the order up. My girlfriends burger had mustard and ketchup on it when I told him mayo and ketchup. She is highly allergic to mustard so I ate hers and she ate mine because mine just had mayo on it! My first visit to that establishment I WAS NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL. Again the girl at the counter was wonderful but the guy who answered the phone was extremely incompetent!

Well I ordered food picked it up they forgot my mac salad and well how hard is it to read a order slip and make sure every thing is in the customers bag? Can't call them they have a non working number. And im not driving 12 minutes for something they should of made sure was in my bag. Horrible service

I was craving a burger. I've eaten at other Tom Wahls before so I expected it to taste just as good as other ones. I'm not sure if it's a franchise but it definitely disappointed my craving. I asked for everything with meat sauce on the side. I got meat and cheese in the buns. The burger was dry and bland, basically cardboard in buns. The meat sauce was not good. The fries were bland even ketchup was not helping. My husband didn't like his burger either. We will not be returning.
