I love that the Habit made a location near my area. The two times that I’ve been there it hasn’t been busy to dine in. The workers are very friendly and helpful. Food was and is always amazing. I recommend the BBQ Bacon Burger. So juicy it never disappoints! Also their strawberry lemonade is so yummy. Also this location offers a drive thru.
The food is always great, but the service was slower, but the guy apologized profusely for it taking so long to get our food to us. He was nice about it.

Wow! I just showed up there and they were handing out FREE combos yesterday! Just lucky I guess. Super good burgers to order! Plus fries and and a drink! Yummy! This is a familiar spot (because it was the Old Star Burger) with both inside and outside seating. So bang there it is gang...and yes the BURGER WINS! So good and thank goodness The Habit Burger Grill is finally open!
My family and i randomly went to have lunch and it was pretty delicious. I love charred anything and they had lots of options. The santa bárbara with the avocado was great and my mom loved the chicken teriyaki. Kids meals were really good but large on the portion size for little kids.
A must when returning to California when a quality burger is desired. Always fresh, hot, and tasty. Hits the spot every time.
Came here when they first opened and got pick up, associates were not great, food wasn't right, swore I wouldn't be back but I couldn't resist and it's much improved, it's like it should be. Great service great food. I live nearby and will be back for sure.
This particular store took the place of a long standing old school burger Cafe, CAFE,! GREAT location service is always good. Burgers are fire!! Fries on point and freshly fried always jot and crispy!!

The food was terrific. The service was so-so they got the sauces that I paid for on my order wrong. I only gave the atmosphere at 3 because other locations tend to look and feel a little more upscale. But this is the only one that I know that has a drive-thru! So there's also that.

Love this location. Hardly ever any lines at Drive-Thru. Their meat is always tender and juicy. These burgers are amazing. Allison at the window was very kind and full of positive energy and smiles, which I love in employees. Ask for banana peppers to compliment your meal.

BBQ w/Cheeese was Very Good! Onion rings not soo much. Vanilla shake Very Very Goid! The mocha shake had an after taste, but was good.

Stopped off after a doctor's visit since we hadn't eaten at The Habit for quite some time. We ordered 2 Teriyaki burgers with the delicious slice of pineapple, 1 order of sweet potato fries and a soft drink. The burgers were as good as we remembered them to be from the past, the sweet potato fries were equally as good but for some reason, the whole meal wasn't as spectacular as we remembered them from visits before. Overall, the service was very good, the facility was clean but the total experience was far from memorable.
It has been a while since i ate at Habit's. Great flavor as always. Hanber did a great job cooking my meal. Julio, the manager makes my stay pleasant always, super profesional and amazing human being. People like Julio and Hamber makes me comingnig back. Great job guys. Unfourtanely, the burger patty got so small. Great summmer drinks and ice cream. Highly recomended.

My CharBurger was assembled perfectly and not sloppy and falling apart and out of the bun and my French Fries were cooked to golden perfection and hot.
Stopped by this Habit location last night to pick up my mobile order of the chicken club sandwich for my wife. I also got French fries and a large drink which was the passion fruit mango tea. This habit location has a drive thru and the service was a bit slow when I came to pick up my order. The sandwich and fries were delicious along with my wife loving her mango tea drink.

Food was good. Multiple napkin dispensers were all empty. They have self service condiments, but cups are behind the counter. They forgot to give me my drink cup
I ordered through the drive through and the employees are always friendly. The chicken sandwiches and hamburgers are very good.

My grandma and i went here last night and ordered a custom sandwich and the first time we went trough the drive through they got our oder wrong. understandable stuff like that happens all the time. we return it and get our other bag. we get home again and its the same exact oder we get the first time. we drove there again but both us and the workers were paying attention to what they were putting in the bag. they got the sandwich wrong again but fixed it immediately. other than all the ordering mistakes and miss understandings they were being nice even when my grandma got a little fed up and the food was good. they let us keep the wrong orders and they did get eaten but it can be annoying and stressful when you’re trying to order for a picky eater who goes into distress easily. i will miss the stars that was there before it and i hope the workers learn to be more careful so other people don't go through the same thing as we did.
So this is probably the best burger place I've ever tried. HOWEVER one time I asked for the kids meal with no ketchup and they said ok no ketchup. But when I get my order I ask them if there is any ketchup and he said no ketchup. When I get home later that day I open up the burger to see ketchup on my burgers. That's why I give it a 3 cause of that. It is a food resturant I really recommend it if you enjoy burgers.
It was my second time as a customer at this particular location,service was great they just forgot to add the tempura green beans i was looking foward to trying them out ,I called the location and was able to let them know however I didnt feel like going to get them anymore. I usually check my order to ensure everythings there,but since they got it the first time I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. I will ensure I verify my items are in place prior to driving off next time!
I come here often and they mess up my order probably 50% of the time. The order is often repeated back to me just somehow never makes it in the bag. It’s frustrating because I work in the area and do not have time to go back and forth. Please be more diligent in the kitchen, it’s not complicated.
Only stopped for a friend to pick up 2burgers & fries. I had some fries. Not that great. As me fav is crinkle cut & these were shoe string. They get cold fast.
Update 2/23/26: Got the usual grilled chicken on sourdough and the steak sandwich. My "steak" sandwich had the weirdest texture. I remember eating a steak sandwich at Fuddruckers, it came in all different shapes, it wasn't the most tender cut but it was an actual cut of beef. Last night my steak sandwich looked strange, I couldn't really see muscle fibers or the occasional piece of gristle. The texture reminded me of liver and I hate liver. I ate half of a half last night, in that's all I could do. This morning I tried the remainder of the half, wasn't any better. I don't like negative reviews but it wasn't good at all. The grilled onions and their sauce overpowered the whole sandwich. Not for me anymore. The fried green beans were still good but the package is now smaller. Went there for the first time tonight, disappointed. We ordered, got the food and drove straight home, 2 miles and no red lights. My double cheese burger was under cooked and cold to the touch as was the chicken sandwich we ordered. The hamburger patty was raw inside, more like medium rare. I could do the rare burger of it wasn't so cold.

My hamburger buns was soft in the middle but hard around. I ended taking the edges. Disappointed
I had been craving The Habit Burger Grill for awhile. I mapquested the closest one to me and was lead to this location. I chose the drive through big mistake. I got my food fast but the quality was poor. Just so faster does not mean better. I was starving and ate it anyway. Fries not warm, parts of the burger were cold some kinda warm I was trying to figure out what part was the warm couldn't really identify. Will not go to The Habit Drive through again, I will opt for the usual dine in only locations. It's way worth it to wait a bit more for great food.
Ordered $90 worth of food and specifically specified my order. Upon receiving my order I asked employee if my order was checked and made sure all items were there. He said yes, to my surprise all items specified were not correct and not even marked. We had to go burger by burger seeing who’s is who’s in my party. Maybe next time label what is a single and what’s a double. And if a customer asks for no pickles please consider the idea of putting no pickles on the burger.

In general I hesitate to give 0 or even 1 star; however, there are instances when there is no room to move nicely, especially when it comes to health matters. I noticed about the 4-6 flies hanging out for a while. Things happen, okay! But the reaction and response of the person behind the desk surprised me to the moon🙂. He simply threw the ball in the neighbor’s side. Please see the surrounding neighbors and find the relation I might have missed. Regardless, NO Action was taken, and we left. We enjoyed the food, though, because fortunately, my daughter was not faced to that way😍
Unfortunately, a lot went wrong upon ordering from The Habit. Called to order over the phone, but before getting to talk to someone, the system would error with "invalid entry, try again." Successfully ordered pick up through a third party service. Upon arrival, their doors were sealed shut. Sign said to use drive-thru. The line was dangerously out of the parking lot and into the road, so I decided to cancel the order. After a long drawn out explanation of why I was cancelling, the third party service followed protocol and gave them a call. They also, could not get a human on the line. After receiving a refund, still hungry, I decided to give their drive-thru a chance, knowing very well I should have given up. Food received was incorrect, with wrong and/or missing toppings. Meat was either old or very well done. I'm saddened I could not tell the difference. On a burger-scale of McDonald's to Eureka, this comes in a touch above McDonald's.

Told me they were closing after I ordered and paid for my meal to dine in. Told me That I could eat outside What a terrible meal. And they charged me twice and wouldn't refund my money. George is Poor management Representative.
The smell of urine outside was horrible. Unfortunately, this Habit location is located next to a bar. I ordered the ahi sandwich. I asked for it to be barely cooked (Blue). It was cooked medium- well done.
After paying $67 for 3 meals, I was charged an extra $.65 for each side of ranch

How hard is it to put ranch in a bag. Every time I order from any Habit burger they do not put ranch in my order. These green beans are trash without it. I give up!
Sorry to say this is bar none the worst habit I've ever been to,on 2 different occasions got undercooked food ,I would not go back and feed that food to my dogs.staff is rude and pretty dumb ,I think there cooks have to be on drugs👎👎👎👎

Way over priced. Ordered two single burger combos. $30.00. Asked for crispy fries, and they were not crispy. I like their burgers but was disappointed with the fries. Seems like the cooks don't read the tickets. They don't have people taking orders will not come back to this location. Service does not exist
Unfortunately the female manager has a horrible attitude, she goofed up my husband's order, gave it to the person in front of us and also gave me the wrong order. She fixed my husband's order but still got mine wrong after 2 attempts, how difficult is it to prepare a freaking salad? We had been waiting already 25 mins by this time and we had to get to an appt. She said we'd have to wait another 15 mins because her staff had to tend to the other orders. I told her just give me my money back. She took my credit card information and said she was too busy to refund me right then but would do so later when she wasn't busy. Who does that?? She never did refund me and when I called to speak to her about it, she refused to refund me. Totally disorganized, totally dishonest, she should be fired, she is nasty and a crook
Salad had no dressing. WTH! Sandwich was to have BBQ sauce on the side but was smothered with BBQ sauce. No pickles on sandwich. Chicken nuggets had no dipping sauce. WTH! I paid extra to have more containers of ranch. I did not receive one container let sling the extra I paid for. I asked for utensils and received none. What really makes me sad is I got a lousy $4.00 refund from Grubhub. I called the Habit and you have to go online to complain and I cannot find where. In my opinion a great way to save money on to go/ delivery orders is to cut their costs by cheating the customer. I mean really who forgets the dressing for a salad? Shame on you Habit!!!!!
The chicken avocado club had the smallest tiniest chicken I've ever seen...you need to put a chicken at least close to the size of the bread there was maybe 4 oz or less of chicken that's not right...i was sold a bread sandwich with no meat embarrassing to call that an avocado chicken club. You charge $15 and no chicken in there? That's not right usually the burgers and chicken sandwich are better than this could've been a one time incident but this is ridiculous
DO NOT ORDER HERE. Ordered 2 burgers an fries and receive 1 chicken sandwich. It’s like they had it left over so just got rid of it by sending it with no concern for their customer. I did get a partial refund from Postmates but we were hungry and were left with I chicken sandwich to share which was terrible
Yesterday , i went there , my friend and i went out to take our dog for a walk i had craving for Oreo shake , so i went inside and my friend was outside. The girl who took my order she was really cold with her behavior , rude like she doesn’t like her job, i mean plz be nice with customers , i said do i need to wear mask , she said she still doesn’t get the green light but people where sitting inside and were eating and she could ask for my vaccination card( i have photo in my phone) but this girl showed me attitude for no reason. She said this is your number i went out i was latterly near to the door i saw my order on the counter but i didn’t get any beep , i went out i ask to the girl (this time there was another girl ) that is this my order she saw the number and said yes. I said i didn’t get any beep she checked but didn’t even say sorry then she didn’t give me straws and went inside i asked her could i plz get straws , same girl came out and gave me straws. I mean why this behavior with customers, if customers won’t come how you guys get pay. If u don’t like customer service or you don’t like to work in habit burger go get some another job and enjoy , let the customer enjoy there food in habit , those type of employees ruin restaurant name. For those two girls , find some other job if u can’t handle customers who doesn’t even say anything bad to you, and change your behavior that will help u in your future. You are not miss universe or miss word to show your attitude. Will never go back to this location .
I ordered mushroom char with no meat patty extra mushroom instead of meat the charged me extra mushroom I never had this issue before and was always able to sub manager Andrea was not kind nor accommodating definitely won’t be back to this location!! Do better ur losing business
Bought 3 burgers all were undercooked and raw in the center. Also found hair in the food. Kinda dissapointed in this as i usually go to fallbrook habit and never have issues
I'm a big habit fan I used to go to the one on Ventura close to Fallbrook I was very excited when they opened the new one on Mason and Sherman Way literally down the street from my house I think I've been there 10 times and every time it's been nasty food this time I only order a chicken sandwich and the ciabatta bread taste stale hard and old disgusting I can't even eat this I would definitely not give them another try I give up
The employees don't know how to use the cash register. Instead of charging $12 for a combo, they charge every item individually, making 2 combos come out to over $40. No complaints about the people making the food as the quality was what I expected. The people working the register need customer service and math training.
Got there at 932 pm and restaurant was closed 11/6/2025. Doors were locked. I tried to order online and system would not let me. Not sure if they were having tech issues but I did not see any signs outside.
Paid $22 for a Burger, Onion rings and a soda.. I wanted a side of Garlic Aioli and the worker told me that they charge for extra sides and also since it isn't on the menu he cant give it to me. After paying as much as I did, so done with this company. Just another off the list of over-priced fast-food type restaurants that dont care about their customers.
My order was a Chicken Club sandwich combo and BBQ sandwich xtra meat combo but But the problem is that if the avocado isn't good, it's better not to serve it. I had to throw the avocado in the trash because it was super black and that's not good quality for a customer. I better not even use it so that the quality of the sandwich doesn't look bad. Okay.
I have been a customer in this place for 3 years. Everything was perfect but on February 10th 2026, they used old oil and it was so black and burnt, that I could not eat it. I hope they change the food quality and make it better. I hope the quality of food this restaurant gives to their customers is their top priority. I feel sad that I had to receive this.
Ordered a bbq bacon burger and the bacon was like microwaved bacon which is terrible and was not fresh at all like the one that’s in northridge
I'm a big habit fan I used to go to the one on Ventura close to Fallbrook I was very excited when they opened the new one on Mason and Sherman Way literally down the street from my house I think I've been there 10 times and every time it's been nasty food this time I only order a chicken sandwich and the ciabatta bread taste stale hard and old disgusting I can't even eat this I would definitely not give them another try I give up
Paid $22 for a Burger, Onion rings and a soda.. I wanted a side of Garlic Aioli and the worker told me that they charge for extra sides and also since it isn't on the menu he cant give it to me. After paying as much as I did, so done with this company. Just another off the list of over-priced fast-food type restaurants that dont care about their customers.
Got there at 932 pm and restaurant was closed 11/6/2025. Doors were locked. I tried to order online and system would not let me. Not sure if they were having tech issues but I did not see any signs outside.
My order was a Chicken Club sandwich combo and BBQ sandwich xtra meat combo but But the problem is that if the avocado isn't good, it's better not to serve it. I had to throw the avocado in the trash because it was super black and that's not good quality for a customer. I better not even use it so that the quality of the sandwich doesn't look bad. Okay.
The employees don't know how to use the cash register. Instead of charging $12 for a combo, they charge every item individually, making 2 combos come out to over $40. No complaints about the people making the food as the quality was what I expected. The people working the register need customer service and math training.
