The gentleman at the drive thru was very friendly. The food was as good as Tommy's always has been.
I have been frequenting Tommy's World Famous Chili Burgers for 45 years. No one does Chili anything like Tommy's does it. The Chili Cheese Burgers and tht Chili Tamales are my favorite!! I never leave Tommy's without extra items for later, especially a container of Chili!!!! In 45 years of patronage, nothing has changed!!! If one has never been, then you better at least try Tommy's before you die😁😁
They have an amazing cheerful staff. Food always delicious !!!! Love it!
The staff were great, they were very polite and had the food out fast! My sons who didn't grow up in California and are here for their first time loved it! Even though they got plain hot dogs and fries. I gave them some of my chili cheese fries and they loved them too!
Food always takes a while so be patient. It’s worth the wait! I love this location it’s never busy when I stop by and always empty inside. I come with my son after a nice bike ride. Very clean and lovely staff. Never had an issue.
Tommy's is the greatest burger joint ever. At Tommy's, the Cheesyburgers come with Chili on them naturally. This is another of my must haves when I am visiting SoCal. I recommend the Double Cheesyburger with the Chili Cheese Fries (I usually get this with a side order of jalapenos), you will not be disappointed. All in all, the food is fantastic. The service may be a little hit & miss, but they have never ever gotten my order wrong. The prices are fair and include the sales tax on the menu, so ye know how much the meal will cost you. Lastly, most Tommy's locations are open 24/7, so when ye have that 3a.m. burger craving, they are there for you.
I’ve been to quite a few Tommy’s….this one knocked it out the park!” Made my food in minutes and it had the right amount of everything! Very clean inside too. Will DEFINITELY be back!!!!

Although I live in Australia, I love Tommy's chili, even if I don't have the opportunity to have it very often. During the 3 days I visited, I had Tommy's chilliburgers twice and even brought a 12oz container on the airplane back to AU with me to have the flight crew reheat for my lunch. Unfortunately, only factory packaged food is allowed to enter AU, so I couldn't bring any home, and there aren't any Tommy's restaurants outside the SOCAL area (except Las Vegas). So if you're visiting, don't miss the chance to taste a part of LA history. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Look, I grew up literally around the corner from the original location on Beverly and Rampart. Tommy's runs through my veins! We stopped and just grabbed a 32 oz. cup of their chili since we were making burgers at home.
i mean… its chili and burgers. you only go to tommys for chili. and it’s not bad whenever you go. consistency at its finest. and huge drinks do not eat chili burgers for breakfast before hours of classes. your stomach will thank you. otherwise, pain is worth it 100%
Always been a favorite since High School, I've never stop loving their burgers chili cheese fries and hot dogs for that matter. Sometimes I'll even find myself going there for breakfast for their delicious burritos for breakfast sandwiches on a English muffin. Just please bring back Coca-Cola it's not the same without it. On by the way did I mention Kudos on your quarter-pound patties that makes the burgers more meatier and full of flavor. Sometimes I'll even go to the original Tommys on Rampart just for the fun of it although Park in can be a bit Limited especially if you go on a Friday or Saturday night.
Love their chili dogs and fries! The chili is a hit or miss as far as blandness/ taste. The customer service could use an increase friendliness and hospitality. Overall this place is big back approved 👍
I was expecting more for Tommy’s Burgers. The chili cheeseburger was just fine. The chili was only on the outside of the burger; I don’t know if that’s the way it should be. I didn’t like the fries.. The combos are more expensive than other fast food restaurants. The seating area was empty, now know why Restroom were not clean. I might give Tommy’s a second change sometime next year, or a day that I get really hungry.
I used to love coming to this place, but the customer service is terrible. They made my burger wrong, and the second time they loaded it with pepper, which I didn't ask for. I had mentioned the promotion but wasn't given it, but I corrected the cashier, saying it should be this amount with the promotion. He said I had to mention it beforehand, but I remember asking for it when ordering.I think I'm done with this location. It was really dirty when I went too, so the atmosphere wasn't great. The food was good, but I had to pick out all the peppers. I wish I had taken a picture of it, but I wasn't thinking about it.
This was my childhood location growing up and it was always good. With the new ownership has a new flavor of not friendly and kind of rude. You have to mention the promo in order to get it as well or you will get charged full price with an attitude. I feel like the servings are stingy as well. Won't be coming back to this location. The new owners are rude.
When a customer comes in and is speaking to you guys at the front, the least you can do is actually acknowledge them and use your voice back, not just nodding or shaking your head. Doesn’t get any more rude than that. Especially on Christmas of all days..
Staff was great. I ordered a big burger California classic when it came out it was about a half an inch thick. Looks like somebody put the hamburger in a press. they were on it. Looks like they put the buns on the top side and they stood on it. The entire burger was flat like I've been pressed for the hydraulic ram. I've heard of Thomas before. Never tried it. It's my first time and my last time. Frankly, their food tastes like shit
Always wanted to try Tommy’s Burgers. Severely disappointed, bland chilly, tiny patty, money wasted. Worst fast food I had ever tried
Order was missing the Chili and the Cheese I ordered for the Burger. Burger was pretty tasteless so I threw it and the Fries I ordered well done that arrived slimy and tasteless in the trash. First and last time I’ll ever try this place
Last few times I've gone here, the employees are RUDE. No smiles....no friendliness.....we asked no Chili on the burger, and somehow it's on our wrapper?? Gross....this is how we unwrapped it...the other burgers were put together terribly too. All around just BAD presentation and horrible hospitality. Food tastes bomb, but their attitudes are horrible. Makes you feel bad just asking for ketchup or chillis....
My delivery order experience 7/23/2023 11:57 pm Don’t order through any app because they will send you rotten and undercooked food and then tell you to complain to Uber eats. No you made this meal so I’m complaining to the establishment and they did nothing! Look at this food! It’s not ok to send people food like this and I actually liked this place but I will drive to north hills and go the the ORIGINAL ONE because this canoga park location has fallen off. And I read the reviews before ordering and it was good lol all those people are liars because this food is a joke and rotten
