Enjoyed a wonderful brunch at Bill's this afternoon. Laura was looking after us and did a fantastic job. It was our first time eating here and we will certainly return. Would highly recommend.

Lovely service , we had a great waitress - Laura, who was brilliant and very friendly. Food was great and lovely atmosphere.

Amelia was sooooo lovely, she accommodated for me and really made my birthday. Atmosphere was nice, not busy at all. Fast service. Will be back 😊

Great layout and atmosphere. The staff are great and well trained. The food is delicious and there is a wide variety. The drinks and desserts are varied and ohhh the pancakes. Will definitely return !

Staff were super lovely and patient, food came quite quick and was amazing as always! I can’t remember what it was called but I got the vegetarian brunch option and added pancakes and my friend got the other one and the waiter was so nice and let us swap the things we didn’t like.

Had a great visit to Bill’s in Canterbury! Antonio was our server and he was really friendly and attentive. Started off with a pot of tea which was lovely, then had the Ultimate Brunch Burger and the Steak, Egg & Chips – both were tasty and well cooked. Also loved that they offer 20% off with UNiDAYS for students. Great food, great service, and good value!

We had a lovely brunch at Bills. We were given colouring pencils straight away and drinks ordered so no delay. The food was very tasty although my daughter could have eaten loads more beans. Amelia was attentive throughout and another server overheard that I had no more milk because my daughter had drunk it and he straight away offered to get me more so I could have one more cup of tea. Much appreciated. Granola bowl was delicious!

Food is very delicious and good price. We are very satisfied!! We ordered set menu. We chose Cauliflower soup, smoked salmon pate, mackerel beetroot. & squash salad, chargrilled chicken. We quite loved them. Coconut milk late and coconut milk flat white were also our favorite! The most stunning thing is the service!! Antonio and Rosie are very friendly and thoughtful!! Their hospitality is very heartwarming:) After eating set menu, we were almost full but we wanted to order pancake, then they offered us smaller options!! That was very helpful. Thank you very much!!! I highly recommend!!

Dinner here is outrageously good. There was plenty of options that tickled our fancy. The Mac & Cheese with Beef Brisket went down a treat. Mini Cinnamon Donuts for dessert are a must if you visit here. The service is faultless too. We’ll definitely be back again soon.

I visited with my service user whom i support and the staff were very friendly and patient. After the lady i support got upset whilst ordering her food (as she had been having a difficult day) , the staff gave her a free desert. Definitely recommend, the staff made a difficult situation very manageable by being so lovely and supportive. Our waiter i believe was named Josef and he was an absolute star throughout our visit. Thank you!

Waitress Laura was very friendly and efficient and had a laugh and a joke with us. Lovely fish pie with generous portion of fish. Mac & Cheese with buffalo chicken was really nice but could have been a bit hotter. Toilets - there’s is a disabled toilet downstairs otherwise the toilets are up some spiral stairs. The restaurant was very busy so it is advisable to book a table in advance. If you have a Blue Light card you can get discount. This was my second visit to this restaurant and both times I have never had any problems or complaints.

Fantastic lunch. Amazing service from Josh who also provided us with one of the best hot sauces we have had. My husband is an expert on these!! We offered to buy a bottle but he kindly gave us one. Outstanding service.

We came to Bill's for the first time as it was a family restaurant and we were looking for good food options for all of us and a nice atmosphere. I am happy to say that it was as expected. I had Shawarma which was really good, like in Turkey. My wife had the fish pie which had a lot of seafood and she enjoyed too. My daughter ordered vegan meatball pasta but she only ate the meatballs, the pasta was so and so. We waited for about 20 minutes for the food to arrive, which is on the higher end but we were not in a rush and the place was packed, so it was understandable. We were served by Sunil, who was very friendly.

Our breakfast this morning was delicious and enjoyable. We were seated at a window table promptly at our reservation time. Rasa, our hostess, who also served us, made sure our needs were taken care of from start to finish. The service was efficient, courteous and attentive. My avocado toast was delicious. Highly recommend with the poached eggs.

Had a lovely meal with family in Bill's restaurant last night! The food is consistently good, and the Rhubarb Ginger Beer was very tasty! Always a great atmosphere there and the service is excellent. Antonio was our, attentive, cheerful and helpful waiter. He was really kind in making sure we got a suitable table, despite it being really busy. Thank you!

Came here for breakfast and Charlie, our server, was amazing! She kept checking up on us, even while the restaurant was busy!

This was my second time visiting this restaurant, and it was just as wonderful as the first. The food was absolutely delicious – every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it the perfect place to enjoy a nice meal. A special shout-out to Antonio, our server, who provided outstanding service. He was friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality these days. Highly recommended – I’ll definitely be back again soon!

Delicious food, lots to choose from. Calm atmosphere with great service. Being able to pay on phone without having to flag down for the bill is a bonus!

Went for bottomless pancakes, you could tell the food was fresh nice warm, had a lovely waitress name rosie made sure everything was okay with the food and asked if we needed anything else was so kind and lovely.

Amazing, lovely meal. Highly recomend the veggie platter, really tasty food and plenty for two people. All the staff were super friendly, especially our server Tasha who was very attentive. We will be back!

1st time here for me and really enjoyed it, food was great, nice to be able to enjoy the nice weather by sitting outside as well, good menu and portions, not too expensive either tbh, plenty of choice including veggie options if so desired 5⭐

Always keeps up to standard, the best thing today is when arrived without a bookinv, the staff said we are very busy and might give a good sercice of do you wany to come back in 40 minutes. Which was so professional and shows how much they care to maintain the quality. And i must say Jish who served us, tooped the service bryinx bg getting us the cream tea even though it was after time. Theses little gesture's make you feel special. Good luck team 👍🏽💐

My daughter and I had a great time on Wed 31/12. We ordered brunch and drinks and our server Amelia couldn’t have been nicer. Really enjoyed our first visit and plan to return!

Booked this on a short visit to Canterbury. Excellent service from all staff as soon as we walked in, particular praise to Antonio who was amazingly attentive without being intrusive. Food was great, at a decent price. I would definitely visit again.

Spent the evening for a work meal and Sunil was really nice and friendly! Everything was great and we had a good time! *Note: the almond/cherry dessert is so pretty and delicious. I did not take a photo because I only wanted to eat it I didn't think about review yet!

We were served by Amelia and Jan and they were lovely. Both went above and beyond to ensure that we were satisfied and were very appreciative of that. We used the 2-4-1 burger deal and the food was lovely, the atmosphere was amazing and they were so welcoming to everyone in the restaurant. Loved it here.

We had a wonderful experience at Bill's Canterbury Restaurant while celebrating our daughter’s graduation. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the mulled wine we enjoyed was absolutely fantastic — perfect for the occasion. In the excitement of the celebration, I accidentally left my backpack with all my documents behind. Thankfully, the amazing staff kept it safe, and I’m incredibly grateful for their honesty and kindness. Their professionalism and helpful attitude turned what could have been a very stressful situation into a reminder that good people still exist. Highly recommended — both for the great food and drinks, and for the exceptional service!

Was very busy when we went, but the staff were fantastic and very friendly. They went out of their way to help. The food was delicious. All in all a great place for all.

CHARLIE looked after us very well when my friends and I visited last Thursday . It was good food, good vibes, we had a good catchup with friends. And Charlie was a friendly person to deal with when we did have an issue, she helped put things right straight away. Would recommend

Visited for lunch and had a delicious buttermilk chicken burger. Service provided by Sunil was nothing short of excellent. He was very friendly and attentive. Thank you so much!

Went here for lunch one Sunday. The server was wonderful, I believe her name was Rasa/Rosa. The shared starter was really nice and set us up for a good meal. Unfortunately, even though the burger was presented well, it was average at best, not very much taste. In theory it sounded great, bacon, fried egg and lots of avocado. It didn't live up to the expectations. The fries were good and the meal wasn't overly expensive in total. I would go back but I would be ordering a different main other than the brunch burger.

Lovely Christmas dinner. Staff very friendly, good atmosphere. Paying really awkward via Barcode causing some chaos.

Overall the food is ok. Big breakfast and set lunch is worth it.. though the food is slow to serve.

First, just so you know, the restaurant is card only. No issue with this, just for information. Anyway, we were greeted and seated promptly, gluten free menu provided for the person that needed it with no problem. Order was taken after leaving us a suitable amount of time to decide. The person needing the gluten free menu was confirmed again at that time (and that part of the order was brought out separately with each item clearly marked). Thank you to Amelia for great service. I've scored food and an overall four. There was nothing wrong with the taste and quality (we both loved our meals) but it's for two reasons: eating off a metal tray with greaseproof sheet on it, with chips served vertically in a metal bucket thing... I know it seems to be a modern trend, but I'd really prefer my food on a plate! Second, your wine. It's a tad too expensive. It's good, drinkable, nothing out of the ordinary stuff but there are enough producers of decent NZ Sauvignon Blanc, Aussie Shiraz, Argentinian Malbec etc. for you to work that price down. Now, finally, the big plus on the food: You use a much better gluten free bun than the one I got from Cozy Club!

Antonio was very polite and helpful, making recommendations and offering extras without feeling pushed. The chorizo was delicious and the other staff helped me with my order. Thank you.

Great experience! Went with a friend for some brunch, spontaneous decision and it was worth it. We had the ‘big bills breakfast’ great portion size and options. We sat outside by the front, and loved it. Love how many plants there were, gave a lovely nature feel. Affordable prices and a large menu selection too.

Wide choice of food, tasted pretty good and pleasant surroundings. Staff were friendly, Amelia was particularly charming whilst serving us - helping us settle the classic jam or cream first debate. Had an intolerance in the group, and very well catered for. Will be back for pancakes

Shared a great lunch at Bill’s with four of my friends last Saturday lunchtime. I was pleasantly surprised. It has a lovely atmosphere and our server, Andy, was very attentive. The food was fine and the cheeky cocktail that I had was delicious. Hope I get to go back again at some point as we felt very welcome.

Absolutely appalled by the service and the food. From the moment we sat down we waited a fair while until being served by a rushed, impolite manager. Who rushed our hole order and made both me and my party unwelcome. The price and portion size of the seafood share, is appalling! It’s made for one at the max and it was warm, not hot, pathetic amount of bread for the dip. Never again. For £17! I’m expecting more than 4 pieces of calamari, 3 fish fingers, 3 pathetic slices of pitta and a fish dip. Absolute joke. My food came out freezing cold, of which I had to send back with no apology or anything from the manager. And before my guest could say his chicken wings and fries was cold, the manager stormed off and made no acknowledgement of him! At no point was we checked on if everything was okay, no one came to ask if we wanted drinks or deserts. I strongly advise not to eat here at all cost. Wast of time and money. And the manager is very rude.
