Fantastic food with a unique atmosphere. While most Italian restaurants are small and packed with tables and cluttered with decor, this restaurant is bright, spacious, and open. I tried the calamari with roasted vegetables, bread basket, sea bass, and tortellini with ragu. The calamari was a stand out appetizer with its variety of flavors, huge portion for a table to share and beautiful presentation. The sea bass was cooked perfectly and the tortellini was the best I have had to date. It is not the cheapest option for Italian food but most definitely worth the spend.

Fabio was truly incredible! From the moment we walked in, he greeted us with a huge smile and such a warm, inviting energy that it instantly elevated our experience. The food? Our first visit was totally delightful. After a busy day, we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and warm hospitality of every staff member. Our waiter, Fabio, was incredibly kind and helpful. Every course was delicious, from the fresh bread and tender calimari that was mixed with roasted vegetables, the savory pasta dishes and creamy dessert. Great wine selection too. Definitely will come back. Great place for a dinner date or a large gathering .

Discovered an amazing Italian spot near Carlsbad Airport after visiting the Flower Fields! Spacious seating, plenty of parking, and super kid-friendly. We tried the fried calamari & veggies, Cacio e Pepe pizza, and their house-made bread (only $2.99!). Portions were generous, flavors were spot on—especially the pizza, which perfectly captured the classic pasta’s essence. Everything was so good, we’re already planning a return visit! Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

Wow I can't tell you what a nice surprise this was. Our team was incredibly pleased. Food was well portioned and very fresh. Presentation was very nice as well. The flavors of the dishes were also very good. One minor critique was the tiramisu tasted like cheesecake or jello pudding. Profiteroles were delicious

We would give a 5 star for food, hospitality and service. It was our first time at the restaurant, and it will not be our last. We allowed the owner, Simone, to pick out the entire meal for us. Trust me, you’ll be planning your next visit before you even finish your plate! Here’s what I tried: Della Casa Salad Spaghetti Carbonara Margherita Pinsa Romana Salsiccia & Cipolla Pinsa Romana Lasagna Semifredo Tiramisu Latte The customer service is amazing! It’s very open and welcoming. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. If you’re in Carlsbad, this spot is a must-visit for a truly authentic Italian dining experience.

We recently hosted our engagement party here and it was nothing short of perfect! As long-time fans of the restaurant, we knew it was the ideal spot to celebrate with our closest family and friends. Benedetta was incredible—she guided us through the planning process with ease, making everything seamless from start to finish. Choosing from their preset event menu was a breeze because we already knew how delicious everything is. The restaurant also graciously allowed us to bring in our own decorations, which complemented the beautiful table setup they had prepared. The service was impeccable—attentive, friendly, and professional—which made the entire evening feel effortless. Our intimate gathering of 30 people turned out exactly as we’d hoped, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you to the entire team at 2051 Cucina for making our special day so memorable!

Absolutely fantastic food. Very large menu with authentic Italian food and exceptional service. Serving sizes were perfect without the massive portions seen at box Italian restaurants. Location is a tad odd with no real markings on roadside, its a corporate building so trust your map. The atmosphere has minimalist modern feel, and they did a great job decorating. That said, it still kinda feels like your eating in a corporate office building cafeteria. All and all this place is wonderful and will come back.

The food was really good and we sat outside and had an amazing time with a group of friends. It's in an industrial park and is very large and open inside, and there is some outdoor seating. Go for the food not the ambiance. We were all very happy with the selection of menu items and the quality of the food. Highly recommend.

We came here for dinner and the outdoor ambience was beautiful with lights and there were plenty of heaters to keep us warm. We got started on bread and polenta for appetizers. The bread was warm and it came with a nice herb butter. The polenta tasted alright, but wasn't fan of the cheese sauce. The polenta was crispy and soft. For entrees we got Mushroom pasta and their specials lamb rack with risotto. The pasta was delicious with perfect bite to it. The creamy mushroom sauce was tasty. The lamb was a bit disappointing, it was a little tough and the risotto wasn't cooked well.

Have been here for quick lunch The restaurant has really good Italian choices and the taste is good . Location is awesome very nice .. I can't give the 5 stars because the spaghetti with clams can not be with tomato in my opinion has to be just white ... ( maybe if you would like you can put just some cherry tomato ) but not tomato sauce... At least you have to offer also the option to have white just like the original... Beside of that everything was great and the ingredients high quality

Great open spacious seating area in a modern contemporary building. Good service. Decent authentic Italian food. Pizza crust can be improved with thin crust. Home made pasta tastes good 👍 There are 4 different dipping sauce for mix fried seafood. Very interesting favors. I will return next time for dessert selections 😊
