We ordered the beef shish plate, bistro chicken salad, cheese pizza and margarita pizza. Absolutely delicious, great balance in quality of flavor in the plate entrees, presentation of a very colorful platter. Pizzas are surprisingly tasty with their red sauce (kids highly approved the pizza-we couldn’t agree more).

Bistro Kabob in Carlsbad on Palomar Road is a fantastic restaurant for Mediterranean cuisine. We had Bistro Chicken Salad and Beef wrap. You order your food before sitting. We chose to sit outside on their cozy patio. Food was delicious and service was fast. We had a chance to meet the friendly owner and he gave us a complimentary plate of hummus with pita bread made in house.

A warm thank you to the entire staff - they really serve you up the most delicious plates. If you are looking for a filling hearty meal, look no more. My favorite is the chicken koobideh plate! The house salad and dressing reminds me of my childhood. However, please try their fatoush… ugh, amazing! Not pictured here but I’d also recommend the babaganoosh. There’s also a gorgeous patio, warm lighting, cozy indoor seating - even some pillows!! Quality of the food is extraordinary and consistent!

We were a group of 11 riders from Orange County and stopped by Bistro Kabob for lunch. The food quality was excellent — fresh, flavorful, and generous portions. Service was a bit slow and a little messy, likely because of how busy they were, but the staff remained friendly and handled everything as best they could. The restaurant atmosphere and management were great — clean, welcoming, and laid-back. Overall, a very satisfying experience; we’d definitely ride here again.

I have eaten here twice while on a business trip over the past week. The food is excellent, and the prices are reasonable, but the atmosphere was the biggest surprise! Specifically, the outdoor patio is absolutely delightful. It feels like a super expensive bistro experience. Don’t neglect this hidden gem!

Here is where we celebrated Yalda. The atmosphere made us feel like we were celebrating Yalda with family. The live music was fantastic, the drinks were great, and the food was good. The waitstaff and the owner were all very caring people. There was live music and dancing, and we had a wonderful time. It honestly felt like we were at a close relative’s wedding.

Once or twice a month they have live DJ Persian music in the evening which results in the restaurant guests getting up from their tables to come up to the stage & dance to different ethnic Persian songs. Husband & wife owners are hands on in the dining area & kept checking on the guests.

I ordered via Uber Eats and was super impressed with the gyros, baba ganoush and hummus. Very flavorful and totally hit the spot. And the portion sizes... wow. Definitely enough for leftovers. I will definitely be ordering again (and maybe stopping in person next time)!

Fantastic food. This place has a vibe somewhere between a casual dinner restaurant and an upscale lunch spot. It's a great place to bring the family. They have a variety of food that will please everyone. Their kebabs are the absolute best! The food itself is excellent. Superb meditation style foods and pizza. You get what you pay for here, top quality. There is a big indoor dinning room with lots of seating as well as a large patio. It's wonderful to sit out there and enjoy the perfect weather. There is a medium parking lot, most of the time there is plenty of parking. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible and there is wheelchair accessible parking out front.

Probably the best beef kabob l've had in San Diego County! Came here with my buddies and we got a bunch of food! We started out with the eggplant dip which was amazing! Me and my buddy shared the big mixed grill plate. Definitely recommend especially if you are hungry!! Tons of meats and it came with rice and salad. My buddy's got the gyro wrap and spicy chicken diner! They both loved it. We all shared a kabob pizza which is amazing !! Definitely worth trying! They have beers on tap as well! We sat outside to enjoy the amazing weather and nice tropical setting outside. The staff was nice and the restaurant was clean which is always a plus!

I’ve always liked this restaurant but they have bumped up a notch and now I am so in love with the food here. I’ve had the lamb chop plate twice in the past few months and it was stellar both times. If you like lamb, go get it from these guys so they will keep carrying it. It is getting harder to find at a lot of my old favorite restaurants. These guys know what they are doing. Their chicken kabobs, tandoori, salads, and tatziki are awesome as well. They sell decent wine and beer as well.

1st time here and got to say WE LOVED IT! The kale and chicken signature salad was the bomb- the chicken Kabob was moist and toasty in the outer edges plenty of walnuts and raisins. The salad was a nice large size! The chicken kabob plate was fresh and large portioned as well, cam with some pita and hummus. We also order some on the side. The atmosphere has indoor and outdoor options. We also had Modelo on tap! So cold and refreshing. They have tasty desserts like the walnut Backlava and pistachio. Yumm! Was too full to try though. Will come back again for sure on my top 3 Mediterranean places!

Excellent food. I had the Mediterranean kale salad with falafel. Omg the best falafel ive ever had. Flavorful and moist. Its a bit speedy but the portions are quite large. I hope they have one of these in Seattle where im from. My friend enjoyed his meal immensely as well.

Excellent food. Kabobs were great, as expected. The salads were super fresh. The taziki was tasty. Woman taking orders and serving was super helpful. We thought the music was a bit loud. In fairness, we didn't ask if it could be turned down. We were very happy and would definitely return.

From their wraps to their plates and the pizza is great! Everything is good and from what I can tell all their sauces are homemade, even their ketchup tastes homemade, and the hummus is the best I have ever had, with the taste of high quality olive oil in the background. The only thing I wish is that they were located closer to my house😬

First time I had an incredible Gyro Salad, the second time I had one of their specialty pizzas, that was incredible. You really have to have a good appetite for it, because it's loaded with good meats and cheese and sauce and the pie crust Is very good as well. Yesterday I had a boneless grilled chicken salad. That was amazing. The chicken was tender and succulent and cooked to perfection. The flavor was amazing as well.This was not a bland chunk of meat. And when they give you a salad, it's a Salad. Loaded with fresh vegetables that taste like, they just came off a a Vegetable Cart in Brooklyn, New York. Or from the produce department at Whole Foods All the staff there is incredible and really takes pride in serving good food and is extremely kind to the patrons. The owner Saed is a hands on owner and again takes incredible pride in the quality of the food that he serves in his establishment. Elvia is a manager there and has greeted me kindly! And treated me incredibly well from the first time I was there, until present. She is very much on top of things.And very helpful to all the staff. Hugo and Alex are the folks in the kitchen who put out an incredible product with incredible ingredients. I would encourage everybody to try this place. The atmosphere was beautiful, cozy, and very inviting. Mr. Saeid, the owner, was incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. We’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place!

Hello everyone, I would like to share my recent experience at this restaurant. It was my first visit, and it has quickly become one of my favorites. The staff were exceptionally friendly, the service was impressively fast, and the quality of the food was outstanding. The prices were also very reasonable, offering great value for the overall experience.

Ordered online. I had to wait about 30 min. They were busy and it was Valentines Day. Staff was nice. When I got my order I said thanks to the staff and a big thanks to the cooks! They cooks were grinding on the stove. I had to show my appreciation to them.

I am disappointed because I drove 25miles to try some good Persian food as it showed on pictures. But the chicken and beef koobideh was not anything close to perison kabab. Over all my first and last time at this place.

Last night I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. We ordered a beef Kubideh kebab, but instead received a shish kebab! the order was completely wrong. I had also requested the meat well done, but when the food finally arrived after a long wait, it was undercooked. I showed it to the waitress, and she agreed. She took it back to the kitchen to cook more, but when it came out again, it was still undercooked. Even the server acknowledged it a second time! The owner of the restaurant was present in the kitchen, and although he was clearly aware of the situation, he never came over to acknowledge the mistake or apologize. That lack of care and responsibility speaks volumes about their customer service. The stew we ordered was also disappointing. The meat inside of the stew was extremely chewy, in tiny pieces, and not the quality you’d expect from a restaurant. Overall, the food quality was very low, the service was poor, and the owner’s indifference was unacceptable! I usually do not write negative reviews, but in this case I felt it was important to share. Unfortunately, my daughter left hungry, and we had to stop at In-N-Out after leaving the restaurant. This is not the level of service or food that customers deserve.
