Wow ! The food was delicious. We started with the pretzels...they pretzels themselves were soft, moist, and perfectly seasoned. The dipping sauce, which was more of a smear, was also really good and complimented them well. We also shared an order of candied bacon. Just do it. For entrees, he had the pecan chicken, and gave it a 10/10. I had the avocado toast - it was like a delicious cream cheese, bruschetta, and avocado toast all in one and the egg was cooked just right. Definitely recommend this as a brunch/lunch spot and will likely come back if in the area again.

Had dinner at 101 Craft Kitchen last night, and it was an absolute delight! I’m already looking forward to going back. I ordered the Apple & Brie Grilled Cheese, and wow—what a standout dish. The sourdough was perfectly toasted and crispy, the creamy Brie melted beautifully, and the slices of Gala apple added such a fresh, subtle sweetness that balanced everything out. The fig and honey jam brought a lovely touch of richness without being overpowering. It came paired with their butternut squash soup, which was velvety smooth, topped with spicy pepitas and ricotta chive cream—such a cozy, flavorful combo that elevated the whole meal. My wife went with the Cuban sandwich (the Green Chili Pork version), and it was equally impressive. The hoagie roll was soft yet sturdy, packed with tender house-roasted green chili pork, smoked ham, Swiss cheese, dill pickles, arugula, and a zesty Dijon-horseradish mayo. Every bite had great layers of flavor—savory, tangy, and a little spicy kick. It was hearty and satisfying without feeling heavy. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, service was friendly and attentive, and the food felt thoughtfully prepared with quality ingredients. If you're in the area (Carmel or Fishers locations are great spots), definitely stop in—101 Craft Kitchen is doing elevated comfort food right. Highly recommend! 5 stars from us. 🍞🥪

Joined some co-workers for lunch here during the week. Everyone seem to really enjoy their entree. I had the shrimp Po boy, and while it wasn't the best one I've ever had I really enjoyed the parmesan fries! I would definitely come back and try something else.

Just had the best experience I have had in a long time!!!! The wine was great, the atmosphere was also great, but that service and food were unmatched! Julienne was the best server I have had in a long time, giving me all of the best suggestions. I stopped Sal, the chef, to ask him one of the ingredients and had the best chat about genuinely good, fresh food. Highly recommend it!!!

Go-to spot for the Holloways! Amazing Servers/bartenders, atmosphere, booze, food, and the best happy hour in town. Extra special shout-out to Stevie, Johnny, Bailey, and Nick!

What stuck out for when we stopped in at 101 was the food being unique, tasty, and there being a wealth of choices. I had steak and eggs, with the eggs being sunny side up on top of the steak with a fried green tomato beneath the egg. Really unique but very good.

This is a very good restaurant. Nicely done. Service was great. Food was very good!! Unfortunately, we were hungry and l forgot to take pictures of our entrees.

The food here is so good! I usually order it on DoorDash but stopped in this time. My hamburger was cooked perfectly, the bun was soft and warm, and the horseradish mayo was wonderful!

Stopped in for a quick lunch most recently and got the walleye and bahn mi. The walleye was absolutely fantastic: perfectly cooked and the seasoning and sauce provided amazing flavors. The watermelon, mint, and feta dish is one of my wife's favorites which, after this last visit, we decided to make again at home. Delicious. They were training a new server that day and, after the food was delivered, there was not an additional touch - sat there with an empty glass (no refill) and had to get up from my table to go ask for the check. That was odd and I would definitely say not the norm. I've never had a bad meal there and their menu is seasonal so it's enjoyable to visit multiple times throughout the year. Highly recommend.

This is a great new addition to Carmel for any craft beer lover. The location itself is modern and fresh. There's a lack of street parking, but plenty in the free underground parking garage. They've got a pretty large patio that offers plenty of shade in the summer and heaters for the cooler months. The menu is relatively small, but features unique takes on a variety of food. I got the tortilla crusted chicken sandwich and really enjoyed it. The parmesan fries were delicious as well. The beer menu is pretty extensive and features some great options on tap. Prices are actually pretty decent considering the quality of food you receive.

What a great atmosphere, yummy food, friendly management and staff, good service🙌👏. I was there with a friend for a fun, delicious, experience!! My favorite things so far—we’ve tasted several items to see what we liked. A must have are the fresh hot soft pretzels—ask for some sliced Jalapeños to add some spiciness. Green beans—pan seared in pesto sauce. The fresh flavors burst filling our mouths with such a great flavor combination. French fries are nice and crispy and hot🙌👍. Fried green tomatoes were perfect amount of crunchy on the outside, complimented nicely by the accompanying sauce. The hot chocolate cake and ice cream melted in our mouths. The peach cake is also served warm and the perfect “comfort” combination. The walleye dinner was extraordinary—blackened enough for flavor but not too much. Nice and flaky. Those are my favorites so far. Highly recommend!! Let Thad, Tom, & Chef Mike know their favorite Realtor, Liz recommended you👍. Enjoy. 😋. FYI—plenty of of parking in the free parking garage just to the west side of the building.

I don't think I've ever been happier paying $20 for fish tacos. The grouper's flavor was exceptional, prepared to perfection. The seasonings and spices with this dish were phenomenal!! The meal was gone too soon, but I was left satisfied and looking for the next time I could swing by to eat another meal. My server, Brenda S, was knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely interested in sharing her experience with the menu options I asked about before ordering. I really felt that she was happy to take her time and help me find the best option for my meal. The key lime pie was really good. A slight tart flavor with a melt-in-your-mouth pie texture and a crust that was so good that I wanted to lick the plate afterward. Don't judge me. It really was that good. I'm looking forward to the next meal here, and I can't wait to find some favorites for my wife to enjoy as well. The outside patio space is beautiful, and it was a perfect lunch, from the food to the weather.

Our kids LOVED this place! (And so did we) The food was great (super fun kids trays). Great service. Our oldest said, “This is the first time in my entire life I get to pick two sides for my dinner!” We will definitely be back.

Love the 101 beer kitchen. Food is always on point and love the beer selection that is always changing. They remember us when we come in and make it like home.

We stumbled upon this gem and now we're regulars, all thanks to Johnny's exceptional service! The food is beyond fantastic—must-tries include the soft pretzels and spinach artichoke flatbread, both absolute delights for the taste buds. The cozy atmosphere of the bar adds to the experience, making it the perfect spot to unwind. Impeccable service, delectable food, and a welcoming ambiance—this place truly deserves five stars!

My girlfriend's and I came here for lunch. First time in this place. The bartender waiting on us and he did an excellent job of explaining the menu and telling us what the top sellers were. This helped to make our decision easier because we were definitely wavering between items because everything sounded so good. I started with a cocktail, the Ginger Hemmingway, it was light and refreshing. I ordered their signature Ale and Cheddar soup as well as the small plate Brussels Sprouts. Both of those menu items were delicious, the tanginess of the glaze on the brussel sprouts along with the bacon made this my favorite dish. My friends ordered the Black Garlic Caesar salad and the Toasted Turkey Panini and they both said they enjoyed their meals. We did order dessert as well. We ordered the Apple Butter Cake. This dessert was a big dessert, the butter cake came topped with vanilla bean ice cream and warm apple glaze with bits of apple in it. Definitely get the dessert! We will definitely come back here there were several other things I wanted to try on the menu as well as another dessert.

Fantastic food! Comfortable vibe along with great food= time well spent. The food is on-point , every time we go. Prices are well in line and we never feel cheated. From the appetizers to the deserts, it’s nearly impossible to leave hungry, or not satisfied. The service is great… well trained, seasoned server’s that make tremendous recommendations when asked. Definitely one of our go-to restaurants that we can count on when we’re pressed for time, or when we want to relax and enjoy breaking bread with friends.

We recently discovered 101 Kitchen. The food is absolutely delicious. I typically don't like chicken wings, but their wings are excellent. We also enjoyed the restaurant week specials. Bailey B is a really awesome staff member. She is so friendly and made our experience that much better. We came back after the first time because she told us all about the food. The happy hour specials are great too.

101 in Carmel is a solid spot for dinner. Everything we ate was tasty and surprisingly nicely presented, especially considering the great value. The dining experience was smooth, thanks to the attentive waitress and the overall friendly service. We had a really nice experience and will definitely be back.

I love this place, great food reasonably priced. One of my top places in Carmel for a laid back atmosphere with really great food. Creative made from scratch food without being over the top or too fancy. The pork schnitzel is amazing.

We had a lovely experience at 101 Beer Kitchen. Our preferences were noted and thoughtfully accommodated by management. Julienne M. provided excellent service — offering delicious recommendations, ensuring my husband and I ordered enough to share, and explaining how dishes were prepared and served. She brought a nice, positive energy to the meal. The entire staff worked together seamlessly to make sure every table was cared for. The food was delicious — please pass our compliments to the kitchen, especially for the amazing fried green tomatoes! We look forward to returning with our family.

We were a large group that had made reservations days earlier with Dawn, the manager at this wonderful restaurant, who made us feel absolutely welcome. She arranged for us to sit at tables in one room where we could be close enough to feel like we were dining together. The wait staff, bar, and kitchen team provided delicious dinners with efficiency and good cheer. This is a must visit when in Carmel, IN, to enjoy the relaxed vibe!

101 Craft Kitchen has become our go-to happy hour spot, and for good reason! The food and drinks are always on point, and the service makes it even better. Bartenders Bailey B. and Stevie are fantastic—friendly, attentive, and always make us feel welcome. Couldn’t recommend this place more!

101 Craft Kitchen has quickly become one of my favorite spots in Carmel. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between relaxed and lively, making it an ideal place to unwind after work. Their happy hour is hard to beat — half-price drinks and half-price apps that don’t feel like an afterthought but true highlights of the menu. The food is consistently great, but what really sets this place apart is the bar. Drinks are top-notch, and bartenders Nick and Bailey make the experience even better. Nick has served us several times and is a good ol’ chap — always friendly, quick with a recommendation, and genuinely welcoming. Bailey brings the same energy, keeping the vibe fun without ever missing a beat. Whether you’re stopping in for happy hour, grabbing dinner, or just looking for a spot to catch up with friends, 101 Craft Kitchen delivers. Great food, better drinks, and bartenders who make you feel like a regular — that’s the kind of place worth coming back to.

Had the best time tonight with some of the best food I’ve had in a while. Julienne M. Was our server and was so kind and gave us a really good insight and details to what we were ordering and even told us about some of her favorite things to order. The fried green tomato small plate was a huge highlight to the meal. I will definitely be returning for future dinners and lunches!

We love 101! We are “Friday regulars” who enjoy coming back for the consistently great food and service! We love to sit at the bar and chat with our favorite bar tenders! Shout out to Nick and Bailey for always being so friendly! Keep it up 101! :)

Visited 101 in Carmel and had a really nice experience. The service was good and the waitress was attentive throughout the meal. The food had great value — everything was tasty and nicely presented. Overall, a solid spot with good food and friendly service. I'd definitely come back.

Thought we would try this place out as the reviews were pretty consistent. We were NOT disappointed! We had a late lunch/ early dinner. Stevie our bartender/ waitstaff was AWESOME! Thank you for a wonderful dining experience! Stevie was very knowledgeable and educational on the questions we asked her about the food. I had the salmon and my better half had the new York strip. Clean bathrooms and on a Sunday the parking garage was pretty open. Definitely will be back! We've got to try the desserts! Thanks Stevie!

We have been here several times in the past and decided to come back for Devour. They seemed to be seating everyone in the bar when we got there, which seemed a little crowded at 4pm on a Wednesday, but we went with it. The food was great as always...the Espresso Martini Pot de Creme was the highlight of the meal.

Server attentive. Food was well seasoned, flavorful. Tasty Bavarian pretzel. Quaint short stem beer drinking glasses hmm less volume same price? Atmosphere a tad upscale but not opulent. Would repeat.

I had the chicken Parmesan sandwich which was good but my boyfriend had the Pork Schnitzel and it was so dry he couldn’t eat it. The pretzels with beer cheese was tasty. They did not charge us for the schnitzel.

If you are contemplating getting the crab artichoke toast, this is your sign to go for it. It was absolutely delicious! We didn't love the wings. Could just be personal preference but I felt like they were lacking flavor and a lot of the sauce dripped off them so we would have to lap it off the plate to really taste it. Overall, I would be back for the toast!

Great place to grab dinner before walking to Carmel's Christmas market. Food and drinks were delicious. Service was fast and efficient - but not very engaging at the table. Checkin staff was friendly and helpful.

My husband and I dined here for the first time last evening. Great atmosphere. Bailey was an excellent server. We loved to see so many gluten free items on the menu. I got the fish and chips. My husband got the pecan chicken. While both entrees were good, I feel I should have received two pieces of fish, especially for $18. My husband would have preferred the mashed potatoes and green beans separate from the chicken, instead of it all piled on top of each other. Why are there no gluten free dessert options?? That was disappointing. Overall, we liked our experience and would visit again.

Nice restaurant layout. The atmosphere was relaxing. Food was average. The steak was overcooked and tasteless (requested medium but received almost well done). However, the side of potatoes and wings were good. Nothing really excited me about the menu. Mid experience overall.

Another miss here this time. They were packed so I can understand the very slow service. However the food didn’t live up to our expectations. I had the Black and Blue salad with filet medallions ordered medium. They were overcooked and difficult to eat. Our waitress never checked in after receiving our food, so I ate around that add on. Hubs got the Fish and Chips and wasn’t impressed. The batter was a lot heavier than expected. He wouldn’t order it again. Another person ordered the Canada Bowl and loved it. We did enjoy the Devils on Horseback dip. The atmosphere is nice and trendy and the location is perfect for going to a show at the Palladium.

We dined at 101 Craft Kitchen in Carmel with a group, including two kids, and it was a decent experience, though not without flaws. The place was packed, which gave it a lively but sometimes chaotic feel. The drink menu was solid—I enjoyed a Mexican beer, which was refreshing and a good pick. We shared some appetizers, and the loaded tater tots were the best of the bunch—tasty and satisfying. For my main, I asked about the walleye and was told it was fresh that day (they mentioned it’s not always fresh, so ask first). Paired with a melon and feta salad, it was good and probably the highlight of the meal. The kids’ cheeseburgers, priced at $8, were okay for the value. One was cooked nicely, but the other was overcooked and dry, which was disappointing. The waitress only asked one kid how they wanted it done (medium is standard), and it felt like a miss not to check with both. Service was fine but nothing special, especially given how busy it was. Overall, the food and atmosphere were alright, and we might go back, but it wasn’t a standout experience. Check for fresh walleye and maybe double-check the kids’ orders.

I was greeted when I came in. I was a few minutes away from missing out on happy hour but you can only order off the menu at the bar which was full. I ended up sitting outside. I was in the mood for fried green tomatoes. I've been here before but couldn't remember if I liked them or not. While waiting on my food, my prior review popped up and I didnt like them then. I gave it another shot, and didnt like it this time around either. No flavor at all. The fries on the other hand were decent. The mocktail was okay.

We went to 101 Beer Kitchen on Friday night and the food was delicious! We did not have reservations for the evening, so we walked in and were immediately seated. The hostesses were friendly and restaurant is very cozy and comfortable. Unfortunately the restaurant seemed to be very understaffed for a Friday night and it took us 20 minutes to get a server to the table once we were seated. Every time he walked away, we didn't see him for another 10-20 minutes. (Which I don't believe was entirely his fault) Therefore, we ordered as fast as we could and I got the chicken parmesan, which was delicious! Those who I was with both ordered burgers and said they were satisfied as well. The fall menu is fantastic and there looks to be a lot of great options I would want to come back and try. We noticed there were cooks and the chef running food and no bussers cleaning off the tables. (Which is not typical for a restaurant) I hope the next time we dine that runners/bussers would be hired to take stress off the servers and kitchen staff.

Took some friends out for dinner last night. Food was pretty good but the service was abysmal. Our server probably spent a total of 5 minutes with us. I felt like we were forgotten. Our server “dropped off” some jugs of water when we were seated and returned ten minutes later, so we poured our own water. She took our order quickly and didn’t return until we were finished eating. We were talking a lot so it was a good while. Our dishes were never cleared. I can cook at home so dining out for me isn’t just about the food, it’s being served and in this case a disappointment.

Went for a pre-show dinner...the bar tender helped us more than our wait person..so sad. It was somewhat slow when we arrived and there were two gents who appeared to be managers of sorts who passed us frequently yet never engaged us. The price of the food was acceptable, the flavors also acceptable...not sure why we seemed to receive apathetic service, but there you have it...as the evening progressed it went from fairly quiet to even tho you are directly beside me, please repeat yourself.

The experience at 101 Beer Kitchen was just okay. The service wasn’t great, and the food seemed pretty average overall. Prices weren’t terrible, but nothing about the visit really stood out. It’s not a bad place, but there’s definitely room for improvement.

C
Claire Chen

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this place was in my opinion a waste of money and time. The food we ordered had genuinely no flavour. I was shocked as reviews reflect otherwise, but the sandwiches and sides tasted like not a single speck of seasoning touched anything on the meal. Anyway, other than the food tasting like nothing, everything else was great. The presentation is amazing, and it is quite a shame on how bad the food is. I recommend coming here for your aesthetic Instagram photos, but definitely not for actual food.

P

This review is based on my meal alone. Note to the chef: gumbo is roux based, preferably very dark and with filè. The tomato based stew is not gumbo, even with the addition of andouille or “the trinity” That said, everyone else enjoyed their meals: soba tuna bowl, SW cx wrap and lemon cx which the kitchen prepared grilled for the person on a restricted sodium diet (parm in the breading on menu). Service was good and attentive, despite being sat in the back room where we’ve experienced issues in the past. We may just stick with brunch which is generally very good.

M
Matthew Smart

The food is very bland and not well prepared. The green beans that came with the lemon chicken still had the stems on them which is a sign of the kitchen not knowing what they are doing. The premium price should be reflected on the food, what a shame too because the location is amazing!

T

My family and I were visiting from out of town. We arrived here for dinner, upon arrival, we were told it was “open” seating and that outside was the only location available. While being taken to the outside area I noticed two tables open for 4. We got seated outside by the hostess, whom did not fill our water glasses, mind you it was 90 degrees. Another family got seated after us and immediately got water and was asked if they wanted an appitizer. My family and I waited 15 minutes and still did not have water, nor service. At this point I got up and went to the hostess, I asked her if we were going to get service outside, at which point she became rude and I asked for a manager. The manager approached and I took him to the open seats inside at which point he said they were reserved. Now again, we originally were told it was open seating. So which is it, do you need reservations or is it open seating. Either way, the empty tables should be marked “reserved” to avoid the negative perception. When we finally got service, the food was mediocre at best for the price and crappy service we received. At the end of the day the manager could have comped our first round of drinks, yet that did not happen either. We watched two more families get up and leave from the outside area while we were there, due to the poor service level and lack of drinks on a hot day. I would recommend not going here, as when we did leave there are many more options around, and we all said we just should have gone to Piada, Update: I appreciate the reply to my initial review, however the manager DID NOT discount anything. That was my point! Don’t worry, we will never be back to this establishment, it is obvious you operate as a “we don’t do anything wrong mentality”!

Subject: Feedback on Unprofessional Experience – Request for Refund Manager / Restaurant Team, I am writing to share my experience at 101 Beer Kitchen on November 20, 2025, at approximately 7:30 PM, which was very disappointing. I placed an order for two Mac and Cheese entrées to go. After waiting for about 30 minutes, I received only one order. I almost left but noticed the missing item and had to wait an additional 15 minutes for the second entrée. In total, I spent nearly 40 minutes on a simple takeout order. The cost for these two items was $39.51 + TIP $5 = $44.51, which is extremely high given the quality and the inconvenience caused. I have been a loyal customer since before this location opened, but I have noticed a decline in both service and food quality. Additionally, I was asked about the signed check, and the interaction felt inappropriate. One waitress had the check, and another laughed about the situation, which I consider unprofessional and harassing. Only after I requested a manager did come up with the missing item. I am requesting a full refund for the following reasons: 1. Failure to fulfill a simple order correctly. 2. Excessive wait time for takeout. 3. Unprofessional behavior from staff. Please let me know how you will address this issue. I hope this feedback helps improve your service. Thank you, VK
