Stable Gate Winery is a beautiful place and an amazing venue. I hosted my sister's bridal shower there and I was nervous as I had never been there before because I live far away but they were so helpful and kind throughout the whole process! The winery itself has a great outdoor space and there was live music when we checked it out. It is obvious, the owner, Val, is very knowledgeable and passionate about not only the product (wine, food etc.) but also about the overall experience of the patrons. Friendly dogs on site are always a bonus, too! The bridal shower itself was in the lodge which is a wonderful spot for an event. We had the option of open windows with great airflow, and air conditioning as the day grew warmer. The BBQ menu we chose had fantastic food and all the staff (shout out to Wendy) were extremely welcoming, kind and helpful. They even specially made a vegan pasta salad for my friend when they found out her dietary preferences. I highly recommend Stable Gate Winery and I hope to travel back to the area to visit again soon. ...AND one last addition, my parents (both with electric or hybrid cars) really loved the electric charging stations =)

What a lovely evening! They had it all; the ambiance, the food, the drinks. But let’s be honest; they could serve saltines and tap water and I’d still come here for the overall vibe. I was lucky to sip on the mead, baco noir and vermouth and all were natural and tasty. I also tried the veggie and pepperoni wood fired pizza and now I can’t eat pizza anywhere else because that was delicious! But best of all is atmosphere. The string lights, fire pits, farm house decor. They knew what they were doing. The owner and her mom were both engaging and that alone was memorable for me because they were so friendly and memorable. I will 100% return for a night out with friends when they have a band.

This place is such a hidden gem and is only 15 minutes outside Albany!! We had the Seyval Blanc which was a super drinkable white and the margarita pizza which was absolutely delicious!! They have a real wood fired oven and you can tell the ingredients are fresh and local. The barn space is beautiful as well, such a cool spot! Overall we will definitely come back again when they have live music set up.

Surprisingly beautiful!! Me and my fiance did this on a whim to find something todo in Albany. This winary is beautiful and has very refreshing beverages. We got the 9 types of wine for $20 and the bartender is very knowledgeable and super friendly! You even get to pet there dogs! Great experience and will definitely be returning!

Beautiful place! The grounds and the barn are beautiful. Val is a gracious host who offers up some delicious wines. They are dog friendly and had some live music when we visited. The margarita pizza on the menu was amazing. 👌🏼 little dash of pesto hit the spot! Please give them a visit! The surrounding area is calm, relaxing and sure to give you a great time!

Beautiful venue, delicious food & incredible staff! Stable Gate went above and beyond for our wedding. The weather was changing things up to the last minute, ceremony was moved inside, half of the venue lost power due to a storm while I was getting ready and the owner went into action getting candles a generator, whatever we may need if the storm got worse.. I honestly don’t know if there was a generator or the power came back because it was so seamless. I am normally very anxious but I was totally calm because I knew the awesome staff had everything under control. On top of pulling off an amazing wedding during a crazy storm they managed to make such incredible food that several guests (meat eaters and vegans alike) told me it was the best food they ever had at a wedding. I can’t say enough about how wonderful Stable Gate is. If I had a complaint it would only be that the weather didn’t allow us to enjoy the beautiful property but it honestly felt perfect just the way it was. I am very grateful we chose Stable Gate for our special day! I hope to be back for more events and great food soon..

My sorority held formal here and it was a beautiful place to so it. All of the staff was very friendly and super helpful in making sure the night went as planned. Everyone loved the food and the look of the place and I would definitely recommend holding your event here.

Had an excellent corporate team building here. Val personalized our experience with our tastings, charcuterie boards and delicious wood fired flat breads. We got a vineyard tour, learned about the wine making process and played lawn games. The team had a great time! Definitely recommend!

Val was incredibly accommodating in keeping the winery open prior to the ceremony for my wedding a few weekends ago. The drinks and service were both spectacular and offered a really fun start to our special day. Both my guests and the wedding party were absolutely thrilled with this addition to our night. I highly recommend this for anyone having their wedding at Stablegate!! Even if you aren’t getting married or planning a special event, I strongly encourage giving the winery a visit for a wonderful experience.

We had an amazing time here for a day-after-wedding brunch! The food and drinks were great and the service was perfect! They even gave us a bag of carrots and let the kids feed the horses! Highly recommend for your event!

My wife, daughter and I went to Stable Gate Winery for the first time today. I was planning a birthday party for my wife and wanted an outside location with plenty of room for kids to play and move around. I worked with the owner, Val and she was amazing to work with. She is extremely personable, great at contacting back through phone or text. She let us choose where we sit, they had an outside area right outside the main building, they had tables lined up in the "activity area" where they had live music playing, corn hole, ladder golf and can jam for activities for anybody to do, and then they also had tables and seating down in the vineyard. All had varying levels of shade. We opted for the vineyard and it was beautiful. They offered a brunch plate which changes weekly, flatbreads, charcuterie and other snacks. They have flight options of 3 of their wines or all 9 (3 meads, 3 whites, and 3 reds). We chose the flight of 9 and shared the brunch platter, which had a coffee cake muffin, a salad, and a breakfast pizza/flatbread. I later ordered their supreme flatbread and a blackberry basil and gin cocktail. The staff was tremendous. The music was great, they had another concert in their barn tonight at 5, but with a sick toddler, we chose not to attend). The weather was perfect. The food was exceptional. I cannot commend Val or the staff highly enough. I strongly recommend them for a casual winery tasting or even for an event. Super chill and laid back atmosphere in a beautiful location. Side note, they look like they would be a great place for weddings if anybody reading this is looking for a venue. Their vineyard has lights hung up and their barn looks like it would look great light up at night.

It was everything they wanted - from the elegant, rustic beauty of the barn and grounds, to the food, to the professionalism of the staff, and to their attention to detail - our guests commented on how lovely and special this wedding was. I am definitely reminded of the old adage of not judging a book by its cover. From the outside, not much to look at. But from the inside it was definitely quite a surprise. In fact, we even drove through the place thinking that this can't be it. We went inside and saw that everything was very well done and set up nicely for a party that we went to. The event staff was great to work with and the food was very very good. I would definitely go back.

I am definitely reminded of the old adage of not judging a book by its cover. From the outside, not much to look at. But from the inside it was definitely quite a surprise. In fact, we even drove through the place thinking that this can't be it. We went inside and saw that everything was very well done and set up nicely for a party that we went to. The event staff was great to work with and the food was very very good. I would definitely go back.

You had to pay for all Beverages including coffee, tea & juice. You had to order online for your drinks. Definitely wasn’t worth the amount we paid per person.

The service was not great. We waited well over an hour for our warm meat and cheese plate. My friends and I went on a normal Saturday afternoon and received hot wine in a plastic cups, not ideal for a winery. I can see why people enjoyed themselves but unfortunately I will not be going back.
