We were traveling from Miami and decided to have lunch here . We were pleasantly surprised ! Very nice place , especially after the restaurants in Miami 🙈😂 . Lovely and clean restaurant , . Very much space and a classy choice of food . For 4 adults and 1 child we paid only $61 .

GIVE IT A TRY! I can agree that buffets can be a huge hit or miss. I’ve been going to this buffet on/off for 17 years. I remembered it was delicious back then and I took another try to visit it again recently. I was not disappointed. I went around 12:30 pm on a Friday and the food was fresh and delicious. The Mongolian grill area was the best and wow I would go just for that. The fried fish was crispy and tasty. The rice was savory and the the varieties if chickens were on point! The dessert pastry’s and fruits with the coconut ice cream was tasty. Hey for 12-15 bucks per person on a Friday lunch this is a no-brainer! No complaints from me. If you are a local please give it a try!

Reading some other reviews, I decided to make my own decision. One thing, Longview may not be a big city but it doesn’t matter the size of town. It matters the dedication of the restaurant owner/manager to have a great place to eat. Therefore saying this is Longview what do you expect is a cop out. Nearby tiny town of Avinger 444 population likely has more people at their steakhouse over the weekend than the population of the whole town. Size of town doesn’t matter. This place is very clean. It’s nice and bright not dim and dingy. Someone is always tending to the food. Waitstaff kept an eye on me… not hovering. They had a great selection. I came during dinner and there was quite a bit of seafood & some Cajun style food as well. I tried a few things and even went back for a specific dish a second time which is rare for me to do unless I really really like it. I do recommend this place & I will definitely be back here.

3 times in 7 days!! This was my go to restaurant in college and 20 years later it still is amazing! The service is friendly, the variety is amazing & always fresh! The cleanliness of the place is great! Staff wears masks and gloves and masks are provided and requested to be worn before entering the buffet! ++++ Best salt an pepper shrimp I’ve ever had! If you have some greedy people you want to treat on a budget.. this is the place for you!

We found this place to be delightful. From the buttery trout to the roasted duck, it was fantastic. Sashimi was think-cut and smooth. Fried sushi was large but yummy. Shrimp available many ways, all of them good. Salad was great with mandarin oranges. Dessert had all the usual favorites, but this one included flan and coconut jelly, pleasantly light. Hot tea was strong but delicious and really hot. All in all, our new favorite place when up in this area.

I love this place, when in the Fort Lauderdale area this is a must stop for me. The food is great, I mostly do the hibachi, which is cooked to order and its awesome. They have a lot to choose from....crab legs, chicken legs, frog legs and the list goes on and on. You can't go wrong with this buffet! Come and get it while its hot........

Its a Chinese Buffet People. This place is tasty. Not a seafood fan personally but they those options for you as well.

Emperor's Buffet is a great value for $18 for lunch! There is Mongolian cook station, sushi bar, lots of Chinese dishes, fruits, salad, soup bar, and ice cream! Tasty as well as fresh! I would recommend this as perhaps the best Asian Buffet in Palm Springs region!

Loved the food variety and service. The place was super busy. A little pricey for a buffet of that food quality.

Although the food is very good, I always feel like I’m in trouble there…the owners talk fast English and sometimes you don’t know who is the person that is being addressed. I love their coconut shrimp, and now they have replaced it with the worst scallops coconut-co’on ! It is one of your best dishes! Don’t take it away from lunch

It’s definitely super! What sets this place apart from similar fare is the attentiveness of the dining room staff, the constant replenishing of buffet items, and an elevated level of freshness. Be sure to try the Hibachi grill and save room for dessert. 🍣🍱🍣

King Super Buffet in Lauderhill, Florida, is a solid choice if you’re looking for a good Asian buffet experience. The food here is consistently good, with a variety of options to satisfy different tastes. One highlight is definitely their hibachi grill, which stands out as a fantastic feature, offering freshly cooked dishes right in front of you. The service is decent, though nothing exceptional. The staff are generally attentive but don’t expect anything above and beyond. The restaurant itself feels a bit tired and could use some updating to enhance the dining atmosphere. Despite this, it’s still a great value for the price, and I find myself coming back frequently. It’s one of my favorite spots for a casual, all-you-can-eat Asian meal. If they spruce up the decor a bit, it could easily become a top-tier buffet. The photo included with this is my friend Travis‘s plate .

First time visiting. Went on a Thursday around 5pm. Not crazy busy. Judging only from my past buffet experiences this buffet can be better which is why I gave it 3 stars. It’s missing ambiance; I felt like I was eating at a place where the people didn’t care about customer service, music wasn’t playing and we had to waive down our waitress for drinks every time. Also as soon as we walked in I immediately smelled the bathroom. They do a good job of not letting it permeate to the rest of the restaurant but I can still smell it. The food was just ok for me. I may return only if absolutely necessary but I do recommend for 1st time visitors.

Food is good but for the total price of around $33.00 per person seems unreasonably ludicrous I get you're in Rancho Mirage and the area is kind of like Beverly Hills but you should only charge $25.00 maximum after taxes if you really wanted to become a successful long lasting generational landmark but from the looks of the outside they seem not to care so much about their appearance; I'm not saying the inside was dirty; it actually looked impeccably sweet everything was perfect the food wasn't that bad it wasn't four stars though let's be real for a second when I say this doesn't come close to what most people would remember as Hometown Buffet. The food is barely good enough to get a second plate the ice cream wasn't bad either. They can only improve so much with what they have I'm assuming and there must be a shortage of staff counting how inflation has affected our economy since 2018. I understand everything is expensive right now but I hope whatever they're doing outside will serve a better purpose than to just lay around. Their entrance is barely noticeable you have to really look around to find your way in.

The dessert bar and plantain was what I think was the best. The stuffed crab was bland, the lobster leg had something thick and goey substanceon it that was not appealing, the chicken on a stick was dry. Overall, I was very disappointed. The restaurant was recommended to us. The server was not as attentive. We had to wait and get his attention for drink refills. The price was a bit much. I will not be returning.

Think all chinese buffets are about the same -- mediocre food but lots of choices and as much as you want. This place fits right in. They do offer sushi & a grill station. Only 3 dessert options. I enjoyed the several vegetable dishes. But didn't see any tofu dishes. Seniors 65 & up get 10% discount on meals but not on drinks.

The food was decent. A bit over priced for what it is. They tell you that everything is included and then charge you for drinks. Wouldn’t come back as there are better options in the area

Good Price & Clean, But Service Left a Bad Impression Kings Buffet has a great price point at $16.49 per person, and the restaurant itself is clean and well-maintained. The food selection was what you’d expect for a buffet, and we were satisfied with the value overall. The issue for us was the service. Our waitress never checked on us—not once. No smile, no “How’s everything?”, nothing. That didn’t bother us too much at first since buffets are mostly self-serve anyway. However, the problem came when it was time to pay. As I took out cash for the bill, the server looked directly at the amount and pointed out that I hadn’t tipped enough, telling me there was a place on the receipt showing suggested tips and wanted a 20% tip. I was honestly shocked. Maybe this is a Canada vs. USA expectation—because at buffets in Canada, tipping is lower since the service is minimal—but regardless, a tip should be earned, and in this case the server hadn’t provided any service to warrant it. I did leave a tip, but apparently not enough for her liking, which left me feeling offended and angry as I walked out. The food and cleanliness were fine, but the pressure and attitude over tipping really put a damper on the experience.

Maybe I was early at 5pm, but no cars in front. Door needs some fresh paint. People say renovated, I dont see it. Too dark, needs a freshen up. The food, ok, everything or most sitting in sauce or liquid. Sushi dark, ok, were warm, not flavorful. Desert, bland cakes and cheap jello. I tried it, staff was nice. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR

I dragged my habibi there to try this buffet. The food is ok but not delectable the place is filthy our under the table there are lots of trash no one clean up. The toilet is yuck. I am not going back there no more. That was our first time to go in the Buffet. How come the workers there not cleaning the floor and the toilet that’s the important thing for me. We drove far away to have lunch, but it was disappointed. Habibi not eating much he can’t enjoying his food.

The food just wasn’t good most of it tasted old or poorly prepared. On top of that, the cleanliness was a real issue. The bathroom was dirty and stiffy, and even the spoons at the buffet were dirty, which is unacceptable for any restaurant. What made it worse was the pricing. It was definitely overpriced for what we got. And despite it being a self-serve buffet where we had to get our own food, they still demanded a tip just for bringing our drinks. That didn’t sit right with me at all. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place. There are plenty of better options out there for the same price or less.

Bathrooms were down right disgusting!! No toilet paper, except on the floor but who wants to clean there self with toilet paper that has been trampled on or better yet hanging half in and half out the toilet bowl?? Very unsanitary for a bathroom!

Emperor buffet. One would think with that name the food is made for an emperor. Which means the best of the best. Far from true. Besides the GMO fruit and vegetable options you get below average taste quality and variety. Literally I was very disappointed the first time here. I will go on another day and try it again to make sure I just didn't have a bad taste in my mouth. Literally the staff is walking around joking with each other smiling and laughing and when they come to the table all you get is a frowny face and when you ask for something you don't get a smile I mean literally horrible horrible service from staff. And when I paid at a registered up front the man with the small belly Asian guy just looked at me no smile no thank you no nothing I mean it was unbelievably rude in there. And is it is also not a seafood buffet. There is a few seafood items that every other Chinese restaurant has but nothing fresh and completely over or undercooked. I have no hate or dislike towards any restaurant I solely write my reviews to show visitors what you really get before you go. By far this was the worst Chinese seafood buffet that I have ever been to you better save your time and money and go somewhere else. There was this young Asian looking waitress she was pretty awesome she came to the table after we were almost done and she had a smile she was joking and she got us everything we needed right away. All the other stuff should seek employment somewhere else because theye not meant for this kind of stuff. We paid over $25 per person. This is ridicules. 30 minutes down the road you can get better. Much better for $16. Stay away...I warned you.

I went to go eat with family today and one of the lady's that switches the broccoli beef a short lady my daughter was holding the.spoon and she gave to the lady nicely the spoon that freaking lady snatched the spoon in a bad way I didn't like that at all you guys need to have better service . Because all the people that go want to enjoy and u guys have mean people . That lady was with earphones. As well with a bad attitude .

if you want mediocre dinner, you can come here but at a risk of food poisoning and diarrhea which most of my party got. my cousin pointed out hair on one of the sushi platters to one of the employees. we watched from a distance as he put it on the table behind the counter and PUT IT BACK on the counter to continue serving to unknowing guests. im not too grossed out by hair but as a restaurant standards should be held very high especially because you are serving something to be consumed. i dont know how this place has an A rating from state board this place needs a C grade or to be closed down to reinvent themselves.
