What took us so long. Great place, it will become our go to spot. Update:. Everything is always great. We only wish they would actually serve their tables. The staff is great they run your food and drinks but we always hate having to order on the app. The app is good but it is work and takes away from the experience of meeting up with friends and family..
It's a great find in Pendleton (a place in great need of a more diverse experience). It's been quite busy every time we've visited and noisy inside. The back patio is great though, and much quieter. Order online from your table or in person at the counter. Service has alrways been great and quick. It's next to a bike trail, so it's a nice place to stop.
2025 Update: still my favorite local coffee shop. Whether to get work done, catch up with a friend, lunch date, or just to grab coffee and food...this place is one of a kind special. The coffee is spot on and amazing, the food spectacular and the ambiance is so so warm and welcoming. Love love love this coffee spot!! Their coffee is spot on everytime and they always have interesting options keeping it fresh. And they offer flights of coffee which is so unique and perfect for the coffee connoisseur! Its a perfect breakfast, brunch, lunch spot. They have something for everybody. The atmosphere is so perfect. Lots of woodsy tones and plants everywhere, which makes this houseplant person very happy. I've gone in and sat in ordered and I have gotten breakfast and coffee to go. They do have mobile order as well which in the morning time the slots fill up. Either way they are so worth the stop. They do have limited hours about 8:00 to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday, which I think makes this little coffee house gem even more coveted. Whether a local or traveling through, you'll want to make this place a stop. You will not be disappointed. The pictures with this review are just from a few times I have been there. Shown is a seasonal iced coffee, a flight of coffees, and a BLT.
Such a nice little place. Went twice in the same week to try it out. First time had the everything bagel with hashbrown, egg, cheese=fantastic. Second trip had steak and eggs. Steak was perfect! Also tried the latte flight which I will definitely be back for! Awesome place to eat. Prices were a mid-premium breakfast price.
Another great hidden gem, that is getting more and more popular. Food is fantastic! The homemade hash browns - chefs kiss! Is a little pricey, but worth it! Gets busy, so the earlier the better!
Craft moved to a new location with greatly expanded offerings in 2021, so I really needed to update this review; the original 2018 review is below. CCH is now at a bright, beautiful new location with a full kitchen, and offers not only the best coffee in the area (roasted in house!) but also some of the best food in the area. (No pizza or wings or that wouldn't have to be qualified!) Not only are they roasting their own coffee, many of the menu items include great house-made touches, such as in-house pickles, sauces, cured or smoked meats, etc. My personal favorites include the Operation B burger (get it with an egg!), the Cuban sandwich (house-made peameal bacon!), and the Greek salad. The fresh-cut fries are also amazing, and the BLT has a deliciously generous helping of bacon. The lattes are great, and the coffee on drip will surprise you with its beautiful aroma and flavors. I'm a home roaster but I've been buying a lot of roasted beans from CCH lately! Still my favorite. 2018 review: This went from a neat nearby find to my favorite local coffee shop and restaurant. The coffee is great, the food is delightful, and the baked goods are fresh and delicious. Many of the best ingredients are prepared fresh in house! I particularly like their Craft Steak offerings, such as the Craft Steak sandwich, which has a delicious house-made black pepper aioli with fresh greens. The hummus plate is a great quick, light choice as well. Their menu rotates over time, so there's often something new to try.
One of the most amazing coffee houses in the area. Trendy, healthy, wholesome, and I recommend visiting if you are nearby. Such a cute spot with delicious food and drinks! This is absolutely a hidden gem. Seems like a go-to spot for locals and visitors. We discovered this spot during a recent road-trip. One of the top rated places in the areas, and we just couldn’t pass up on a great breakfast spot. They are located in Lockport, approximately 30mins eastbound from Niagara Fall, NY. Plenty of parking in a private lot, with ample indoor and outdoor seatings. Self seating, and you can order food directly from the counter or through an app. Super convenient! Nice food presentation, and serving sz is just right. They make the best potato chips (thick cut and kettle cookies style ), evenly coated with salt. I love that they carry local beverage brands- Blackman Homestead Farm, also located in Lockport, NY. I ordered the pear and apple juice. There are bits of fruits on every bottled juice. It’s my first time trying this brands, and I’d love to try another flavor too! It’s something I might find at Wholefoods or at least I hope, otherwise it’s about 6hrs driving to Lockport from my town on New Jersey. Their beverages and food are all made with quality ingredients. My husband’s caramel macchiato is made with Ghirardelli’s Caramel and housemate apple syrup. Their smoked Reuben Sandwich is packed with well seasoned corned beef and homemade sauerkraut. The avocado Caprese toast has the best presentation. It was delicious, wish they were more generous with the portion bc one slice of avocado toast was $10 $$$. We absolutely enjoyed our meal here, and ended up order two additional drinks for our road-trip: Hot chai tea latte (sz reg) and their “London Fog”- Earl Gray Tea, housemade vanilla syrup, and steamed milk. Both were amazing! We will definitely visit again!
Been a regular since day 1 at the original location. Great food, great people and great location. Was in there this weekend and they were busy and the staff crushes it so it doesn’t even feel busy. Well done!
I’ve been here several times, and I’ve always enjoyed it! I love trying a new craft latte every time. Today I had the fried chicken salad and it was so delicious, as were the fries! I have also previously enjoyed the chicken and waffles. The only thing I don’t like is they blast the music so loud in there. If you sit near a speaker you go deaf.
Don't be fooled by the name, this isn't your typical coffee shop. They have a large range of options for beverages and food. Besides hot and iced coffee products, there also are teas, sodas, smoothies and other specialty drinks. The food menu ranges from eggs to waffles to a variety of sandwiches and salads. They also have side dishes like shoelace french fries. Their portion sizes tend to be on the normal or smaller side for the price. Their current location is so much better than the original. The outside patio area is nicely done.
I think I found a love, I never knew existed. Craft coffee house is a wonderful place to come for lunch. Here you will find a plethora of different types of coffee, lattes and teas. Each one was unique and peaked my interest. The food portions were perfect. They offer breakfast sandwiches, waffles and even lunch options. The menu is a seasonal though, so things may be different for you than they were for me. If that is the case, you won’t be disappointed. The menu is through a QRC code and you order at the counter or even at the table. Both options are straightforward and very easy. Once your order is placed, the server will bring your order to the table. The seating is open seating, and that even extends to the outside patio. I definitely will be back. Souvlaki wrap- nice hearty size and comes with a side of fries or salad. You even can just choose this meal as a salad. If you choose this option. It does not come with a side of fries. Breakfast sandwich- delicious.. bacon was perfect and the egg over easy added a nice touch.
Craft is probably the best cafe in Buffalo. They have great service. You just sit down, scan the QR code, and order. No BS. Or you can go up to the counter and order. Every server is your server. I definitely spend too much money here because all of the food and drinks are so good.
We stopped here on the way back toward Niagara Falls, and we were NOT disappointed! Craft Coffee House is now on our list to visit again. We ordered a Chemex so we could both try a pour over (delicious, by the way). We were both incredibly happy with our breakfast choices. The atmosphere was wonderful. Busy, but cozy. Live plants all around give such a wonderful farmhouse type of feel. Knowing that so many ingredients are locally sourced, was the cherry on top.
Tasty yumm breakfast! We ordered avacado toast, breakfast sandwich and croissant sandwich (tomato, egg, avocado, lettuce). Everything was delicious. The atmosphere was cozy. Highly recommend for anyone passing by this area :)
Great atmosphere chicken and waffles are delicious. Ordering is from an app on your phone by scanning a code or going to the bar and getting a playing card that they use to identify your table. My mom had the eggs and sausage. The sausage is a custom blend with a unique flavor. I enjoyed it but could not identify all the flavors but it's peppery.
Savory great food for great prices, best egg sandwiches I’ve ever had. First come first serve for a table, you can order on your phone or at the counter and they give you your food in less than 10 min. Warm buttery croissants and rolls. Everything on the menu is the right option. Can’t think of anything bad to say besides these fact that it’s always packed, but you can still get a table quick without a 20 min wait. Amazing food, if you like savory food I recommend the Dancing Nancy.
First time here and was not disappointed. I really like the fact that you can just come in, sit at any table and order food/drinks through the QR code. Every place should have this in my opinion. We ordered the morning glory burger with the hash browns and it was a great meal. I also ordered the iced caramel macchiato and it was pretty tasty. The only downside of this place is that it is a bit of a drive away. The atmosphere is also very welcoming. I think this place is definitely worth to revisit.
This cafe is so good! It reminds me of the ones in NYC. They have cozy decor, easy checkout, amazing food + drinks, wonderful service and the food is sooooo nice. I def recommend this place fr fr. Tho I wish they were open past the afternoon !!
The Craft Coffee House has amazing food and coffee, very fast service, and an extremely cozy atmosphere. Our food and coffee was delicious, it looked picture perfect, and all of it was at our table less than 15 minutes after we ordered it. Treat yourself to a coffee and a meal here and you will love it!
Super busy at peak hours but worth the wait. Really good coffee and delicious food. The morning glory smash burger is a perfect size and the chicken and waffles are the best I’ve ever had. Definitely recommend.
Amazing and cute coffee house around Pendleton. This coffee house is great to grab some food and get some work done. I like their decorations and setup, very spacious. Went there for lunch and ordered the blackened chicken wrap with fries. Food took a while to come, but it was worth a wait. It was so good and fresh. Overall, this place is a great coffee house I’ve been around WNY.
A great little hidden gem. I ordered a Greek chicken salad for lunch and it was excellent. It had the perfect combination of cucumbers, tomatoes, feta cheese, onions, and a generous portion of chicken. My wife ordered an omelette with micro greens, and it was also outstanding, the house with free refills for an extra two dollars was also great! So many times you go to a breakfast place or a bakery and the coffee is terrible. This coffee had some real flavor to it. I will definitely be back.

Great local coffee shop, inviting , warm and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast sandwich is perfect, the eggs are fluffy, the bacon is thick and cooked right. The coffee is complex without bitterness. When I came in the place it was busy but the staff were very attentive and got my food out quickly. Reasonably priced. Definitely check out this place out, better than any chain in every way.
I came here yesterday to have an off-site work meeting with my boss as we needed to get work done and not be disrupted in the office. If you want quiet . . .definitely 8 AM-9AM is your best bet during the weekday. It gets quite busy, but it was so great to see such a vibrant and bustling local business. They have amazing selection of delicious coffees and lattes. I got the fried chicken sandwich and it was so juicy and flavorful. Nothing disappointed and we loved it here so much we will definitely be back.
Food is always on point. Drinks here are incredible. I am incredibly picky with my lattes, however I have never had a bad one yet here. Most coffee shops over sweeten them, not here. Staff is always amazing as well.

The menu is key. I haven't tried any of the teas but I think their lattes are the best around, and every dish is incredible. The employees are busy at the counter preparing drinks, etc so I've never been "checked on" or offered refills, but everyone has always been friendly and helpful if you request anything you need at the counter.
If you don't mind a nice Saturday or Sunday drive, check out this coffee house! Definitely a busy spot and no wonder why. Find a table and scan the QR code to order and pay. Breakfast sandwiches were delicious but be warned the Frenchie is lathered in butter. They do have cocktails on the menu to really round out that brunch experience. The mimosa flight was yummy. Bloody mary was average. But you really go here for the coffee. Great spot to hangout inside and outside when the weather is nice. Will definitely be back.
The hot chocolate was really good but there was too much cream stuff on top and not enough hot chocolate. The breakfast sandwich was really good and had a nice bun with a really good sauce but the bacon was kinda chewy and hard to cut through. Still would recommend it. Coffee was robust but not bitter and was served at the perfect temperature one of the best coffees I’ve ever had. The decor is very coffee shop-esq. It’s cool that it’s kinda out in the country side - it gives it a comfier feel. It would be nicer if it was a little less crowded and you didn’t have to yell to talk. The music was questionable. It seemed like they had enough staff which you don’t see anywhere nowadays. They were also quick and friendly.
Food was great especially the breakfast tacos they have! I really enjoyed the butterscotch latte I had. Employees are friendly when they come to your table but didn't say hi when I walked in. They mostly keep to themselves. My overall experience was good but the only thing I didnt like was the parking lot.
Very noisy. But convenient if you're not paying in cash. You almost never see a server unless they're just dropping off your order. No one to ask about menu questions. The food was very good though and the menu had variety and interest. We also got tje breakfast tacos & smoked tomato croissant. Nice dishes and presentation until we got the Affogato which came in a plastic tub... Still unsure how the chocolate & ice-cream differs from the chocolate espresso... Would definitely go back if I'm paying by card.
Had a great experience! Loved the ambiance! Friendly staff! Lots of options to choose from. You can order directly at the desk or use your cellphone to scan the QR code on your table/booth and pay online. This place is much more than a typical coffee shop which makes it a must-visit! Giving 4 stars just because of their timings as this place closes at 3pm daily.
Lovely lady took our order very sweet. Didn’t love my drink, but the fries were amazing. Cute vibes
Nice spot. Cute counter area, patio looks very nice. The girls behind the counter seem to be recruited from the local highschool and enjoy thumping bass in their choice of pop music, making it impossible to carry on a conversation. The phone ordering will be off putting for many. And the $8 price tag on a breakfast sandwich will scare off some more. The sandwich is solid, bacon is top notch but I wish I had them nix the sauce. A few tweaks and the place could be much improved.
Great coffee and sandwiches. Love the decor inside. My only complaint is that the only way to order is thru your phone. I like the old way of a waitress or at least going up to a person to order.

Very large list of coffees to choose from. Had a muffin also which was great. Not a fan of the QR code/phone ordering. You can go to the register, but we sat at the bar and employees working right there won't take your order.
Food is great , coffee is great. Tons of options. But it feels very detached from reality in there. Kinda creepy. Very weird workers. From the second going in to the second leaving, not a single worker said one word to me. No greeting when u walk in, no explanation of the ridiculous ordering system as you sit down. I actually had to Google how to order so thats how I was able to order food. Because otherwise I would have sat there all day, waiting for someone to come over. Once you figure out you need to scan a QR code to order, as long as you have a phone and bank card, then you can order. If all you have is cash and no phone, then I have no clue what you can do. So then, once you order, they plop the food in front of you walk away without a word and they do not come back to ask how it is or if ypu need anything. And then when your done, you just leave. Very weird. Very antisocial.. But great food and great coffee at least! Make sure you bring a phone if you come!!
The food was good and I was very happy to find Cortado on the coffee menu. However the music was loud and obnoxious. People had to talk over it and that brought the volume level up to being uncomfortable. I asked a staff member if they could turn the music down (it was 10 am) she replied “I don’t know how to do that”. We would have sat outside were it not for the air quality alert due to smoke. Next time we will find another place to meet and visit.

I have had brunch here a few times. However, when I dined yesterday, I was disappointed. I asked the baristas if they cooked the eggs in dairy. One of them said there was margarine, but unsure if there was dairy in it and did not check with the kitchen. I think it is extremely important for servers/baristas to be knowledgeable of any foods that can cause food allergies/intolerances. I wound up ordering hash browns and a side of eggs at the counter. When the server brought my order, he said that the eggs weren't on the order receipt. I wound up ordering them online, but there were very large eggshells in them, so I unfortunately could not eat them. I truly was disappointed that I could not enjoy my brunch. However, the hash browns are incredible. They are always so flavorful and fresh!
We drove 30 minutes to get here based on their website's menu but when we got here the menu seemed to have changed and their website was not updated. The new menu was not very appetizing compared to the prior seasonal items. I got the coconut Caramel ice latte and my wife got the creme Brule latte. The drinks were OK at best but what really made the meal was the Burger with egg and the hash Brown. Both had really good flavor. The ambulance outside was really nice. The staff didn't seem very helpful when finding out their menu is different now than prior and didn't seem interested in helping out. If we're driving this far, we would expect consistency as a common courtesy on their website. Update: got an email back stating that we change our menu periodically, but not apologizing for not keeping their website updated. This place is not worth my time then, if they do not know how to respect it in the first place.
I probably won’t return. With a family member visiting from out of town, the family called ahead the day before to say that we would like to bring 12 people, and got assurances that would be fine. The pros: Much of the food was locally sourced and, though a bit expensive, wasn’t unreasonably priced given those ingredients. The mid: The food was fine. It wasn’t great, but it wasn’t bad. No notable complaints. The poor: Escorting my elderly mother into the restaurant, she became exhausted and needed to sit before we found our group. I grabbed a nearby chair from an empty table, tucked it in an un-trafficked area with her resting on it, went to find our group, and returned moments later to find a staff member giving my mother a hard time about the chair missing from the (empty) table. I stepped in to say I had put her there, and that we were getting out of the way immediately, but even as I escorted my mother out the door to the back patio the staff member followed to continue talking about the table. She did stop short of actually following us outside. At the patio it became apparent that the family would be sitting separate, because the tables are set up for groups of 2 to 4 people. Moving tables together confuses the staff because there is no server, but only an online ordering system that prompts random staff members to bring food to tables at a specific location. We did get permission from one staffer to put two tables together, so some of the family could dine together, but as we were doing that the original staff member from inside appeared and tried to intervene. When we began to explain that we’d asked beforehand, she interrupted with “I don’t want to argue with you,” and turned heel and left. Our online orders were placed to the table that didn’t move, and very quickly someone arrived with a waffle we hadn’t ordered, set it in front of us, and left. Many minutes later she arrived again, apologized, and delivered the waffle from our table to the person who had ordered it - which should never happen. Drinks (lattes, frappes, and butterbeer) arrived at our table in five minutes or so (staggered, brought by different servers) for everyone else at the table, but my hot cider didn’t arrive. I waited 30 minutes before managing to grab the attention of a passing staffer and saying something. I got the reply that “We’re really busy,” which, aside from being an apparent exaggeration in light of the multiple empty tables, didn’t really explain why the easy drink hadn’t been brought but the more complicated ones had. It seems the free-for-all method of serving allows for some gaps. My drink came with the food, so I gulped hot cider while eating, instead of sipping over conversation as others had. It’s not the establishment’s fault necessarily, but there were also more yellow jackets dining at my table than people, bolder and more plentiful than I’ve ever seen at a restaurant patio before. You should be careful if you’re allergic. I’d have tipped lower, but you have to decide your tip before you know what the service will be like. So I watched other people enjoy their drinks, had unpleasant interactions with the staff, sat apart from the family that was the reason for the meal out, and bused my own dishes, but paid for the privilege. If you want quality ingredients from local sources made into a nice enough meal this is a fine place to go. If you want a good experience, I’d go elsewhere.
