My friends have been telling me about this place, and I finally had a chance to try it. I didn’t even make it out of the parking lot and ate my tacos. Not only was the food delicious but the owners are so sweet and kind and you can tell the passion that they put into their food and I love supporting all my fellow Latinos definitely will be back and ordering more tacos and trying out the other simple menu items.
Small but friendly. Tacos are well seasoned and the lady at the counter was very friendly and welcoming. Food was fast but I wish I got more salsa. I got 8 tacos and they were small but plenty. The guacamole was a little salty for my taste and a little overprice for the quantity but tasty. Over all I recommend it. It’s a good place to eat.
This place is a little hidden gem just outside of New Orleans. We had the tacos and they were very good! The lady that serves you is super friendly. You have to check it out.
This place has some of the best tacos on the Westbank, imo. Maybe the best. Very fresh and delicious. Very friendly staff and atmosphere as well.
I am absolutely blown away at the authenticity of this cuisine!!! My son has been going there for years and recommended it and we went together with my grandson; the owner was so sweet. She came and hugged all of us even though she just met me❤️ I mean the place makes you feel like family; It’s beyond excellent food. It’s good feeling!!!! It takes an act of God to get me to go across the river, but I’m thinking about going back today!!!!
True authentic Mexican food. Was extremely delicious!!!!! The service was really nice and friendly too. 1000/10
Great authentic Mexican food. Quality and size! Gracias.
The owner was so polite and friendly to me and my husband. She made us feel like we were at home and it was awesome to meet her two co-owners hence Two Brothers which her two sons. Me and my husband got to meet them as they were enjoying the day playing games on their tablet together. We also got to meet their older sister and she was so sweet and precious. The birria was very authentic and everything we ordered left us stuffed. You must try the hibiscus tea, because it's to die for.
Food was great and authentic! The restaurant has a very homey atmosphere. I will come back.
Fantastic owner and incredible food for a great price! Will definitely be back next time in New Orleans!
Amazing place for delicious food that doesn’t break the bank. Also, love that it’s located on the West Bank! The shrimp tacos, guacamole and salsas were delicious. For dessert, we had churros and the chocolate drizzle made them perfect. We’ll be back.
Highly recommend this spot! The attention to detail is top notch! I love coming here. They always make me feel VIP. The food is incredible and everything is fresh! We asked for agua de horchata and they didn’t have any but she said no worries!! I’ll make it right now!! So sweet of her 🫶🏼 100/10
By far the best tacos I have had in a good while. Super flavorful and fresh. Now, they are small, so if you are a big eater, order you a few more than usual. Other than that, they were great!
If you’re looking for true authentic Mexican food, I highly HIGHLY recommend Taqueria 2 brothers!!! AMAZING food and AMAZING service. Ms. Angelica was so kind and explained the menu to us. She made sure we were taken care of at all times and made us feel at home. The atmosphere feels very cozy and they treat you like family rather than just another customer. The food was very authentic and fresh even down to the chips. You can very much tell everything is made with love, almost reminded me of my grandmas cooking! Thank you ms. Angelica for the great experience! We will be back for sure
In town from Texas working at plants, haven’t found any Mexican food worth while until I came here. This restaurant is hands down the best across all boards. Workers are friendly, service is amazing and the food is even better. If you’re in town, passing through, or even an hour away I highly recommend you stop by this place, and I promise you won’t be disappointed.
Wow, amazing food. If you want an amazing angel to cook you food from scratch like you're in her home, and if you want seriously delicious, authentic Mexican food, go here and be patient and be blessed.
The food is amazing and the service is very friendly! Best birria and chicken Tacos of my life. Came from Canada, and we will be back. Très délicieux!
Sooo recommended! The food was delicious and the service outstanding! We started with Guacamole and chips. Fresh guacamole that I loved! Then we tried some tacos (pastor, steak, carnitas, birria) and all of them were so full of flavor! My kids ordered quesadilla and they loved it. I'm from Georgia but I'm definitely going back as soon as I can. Thanks for everything!
We were on the hunt for birria tacos when someone from our neighborhood FB group suggested we try this place. I'm so glad we did! They're so friendly and everything is delicious. We tried birria tacos, steak tacos, and chicken flautas and now we're hooked. This place will definitely be a staple for us! There's some construction on the road nearby, so use Google maps to avoid the closure. It was still really easy to get to! No problem finding parking in the lot, either.
Wonderful spot. Good food, good value, friendly service. The entire family loved their meals: tacos and torta's. Everything tasted excellent and we would definitely go back. And it was fun to speak in French with the two brothers who are studying languages! Well done all around. Thanks for having us. Tip: these are Mexican street sized tacos, not huge American ones, so if you are hungry order a few more or get a torta, which was big, instead. All good.
You absolutely must come here and try the barbacoa. Edit.. second time here and you can tell the salsas are made from scratch every time. There's a slight variance but they're delicious! I'm going to make this a regular place.
Mrs. Angelica and her family make the most authentic Mexican food I’ve ever had! Super friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Made sure everything was good and prepared well. She also makes super cool flutes and other items! If you’re in the area definitely make sure to stop by.
The food is delicious and the owner is very attentive and she loves what she does. I ordered one of everything on the menu. Everything was delicious and Authentic. The place is big enough to seat maybe 12 people and has a Floating bar to eat off of as well. Go and give it a try you won't be disappointed. Thank you very much for the great experience!
We found this restaurant on Google. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the owner. Such a wonderful woman with a beautiful personality. This restaurant is deep with sentimental value and history. She's spent some time talking with us about the hard times during the opening of the restaurant right before Hurricane Ida. The street was shut down for two years!!!!! But she had so much support from so many people, and businesses that they survived something that would've, and did cripple, if not ruin most businesses. Now to the food. One word..... WOW!!! The food was OUTSTANDING!!! The first bite was unexpected!! So much flavor that I didn't really need a sauce!!! But they have a sweet and spicy sauce that is so well made that it's sweet at first. And then BAM!!!!! The spice kicks in!!! Truly amazing Mexican cuisine!! If you're local, you're winning to have this place. If you're traveling and can stop by. DO IT!!! It's totally worth the trip!!!
This place is legit! Probably the best Mexican joint I’ve had on the Westbank. Everything was so good! The lemonade was great too. I really liked the atmosphere. I felt like I was right back in Mexico! I loved this place and that’s saying a lot. lol
I'm so happy to have stumbled upon this brand new Taqueria!!! A very small menu, but everything we ordered was absolutely perfect. Also, the owner/chef just so happens to be the former sous chef of Herb Saint and Cochon. Lucky me! Dine in to get the full flavor experience yall... trust me!
Very good food this easily needs to be the number one Mexican restaurant in the city grew up with authentic Mexican food in my household and this is some of the best I’ve had. Talked with the owner and she was the one that was in the back, making food as well. Excellent atmosphere and experience should easily be number one in the NOLA area for Mexican food. Great service What I ordered Tacos 3 pastor & 3 chorizo Torta pastor Fajitas steak
i give this place a 10/10. i came from the east coast and i love tacos. so i googled them & went. the ratings were good. a few friends of mine came along and we all loved the tacos. we all got chicken, steak , birria , quesadilla. we came 2x back to back. the next day i got chicken tacos and hibiscus tea. loved it. so much and another friend joined us he loved it as well.
Friendly people. Hot and delicious food!!! Would recommend
Wow! Excellent birria street tacos. Fast service and pleasant workers. I ordered 7 tacos to go and was out the door in under 10 minutes. And the tacos don’t disappoint. Best tacos I have found on the West Bank.

Stopped by right before closing and was meet with great hospitality and no pressure to rush. The food was delicious! The barbacoa was the best I ever had. Got to speak with the owner who showed us old family photos of her grandparents who created the recipes. They make everything in house even the chips and salsa. This is a small family run business with great food and welcoming people cannot recommend it enough.
These were the best tacos I have had in a long time, and the service was excellent. We were treated very kindly, and all the food was very good. The guacamole was made fresh just for us and was extremely tasty, and the shrimp tacos I had were unbelievably tasty. I would highly recommend visiting!
Enjoyed, love my Toro sandwich. They had home made Hibiscus I've never liked Tea but this was excellent. I would return but we don't live anywhere close was on vacation. The flavor of the teyis great.
Coming from San Diego it's been impossible to find a good Mexican restaurant. This place was great! Very comparable and a nice little restaurant. The carne asada (steak) burrito was delicious; the meat actually had flavor unlike the other Mexican restaurants I've tried so far here. The red salsa was also good, flavorful but not too spicy. I also like that it's locally owned by a woman and named after her 2 sons. I will definitely be back.

Legit street tacos. Tried a few different tacos today and each one was very flavorful. Barbacoa, carnitas, chorizo, steak and pastor. Each taco was unique. I would definitely come back and try a few more items from the menu. Note- the habanero salsa was very spicy. (Yellow bottle). But all three salsas were a great addition to the tacos.
Came here by myself while my wife was getting her tattoo at the other end of the strip. I've always been a taco person and still hold Colorado as having some of the best taco spots in any of the states that I've been to. This place came up while I was here so I tried them out. I just ordered 2 carnitas and 1 barbacoa taco. They came out within 15 mins. The tacos had great flavor and everything was fresh. My only complaint is how much you get for the price. The tacos were almost hors d'oeuvres size. The tacos back at my favorite spot in Charleston, South Carolina are almost 3x the size for the same price. Other than that, that was my only complaint. Definitely not a lot for you money but that's inflation I guess. 🤷🏾♂️. Check them out. Take care.
I read good reviews so I thought id give it a try. Little place in a strip mall. Maybe 4 tables and a counter for dining in. Friendly, smiley staff. THE FOOD: I ordered a guacamole and 4 tacos with various meats. The guacamole was REALLY good. Not shy about using Cilantro, a little jalapeno, really delicious! Barbacoa, carnitas and birría tacos were just fantastic and had a little au ju on the side which added so much flavor. A little out of the way, but worth it!

This is a very authentic Mexican restaurant, where authentic around the community typically go and are pleased with because it reminds them of being back home. The tacos are small because AUTHENTIC MEXICN TACOS ARE SMALL and that’s just how I like it. The fajita corn tacos are so good best ones I’ve had in New Orleans. Her lemonade was good, fresh and made to order. The owner was very very nice and had great communication I loved her, she was so nice. The birria was okay, the meat and consume could use a tad bit more seasoning other than that it’s so good. Her chips and salsa , 10/10 her salsa rojo and habenero was so so good.

My son went there to get loaded fries, so I asked him to get me shrimp tacos. The tacos were HORRIBLE!! It was basically plain unseasoned shrimp on corn tortillas. I won’t be getting anything else from here. Upset because I gave away $12 for this horrible meal.
I personally wasn’t a fan of this taco spot. The food was bland, and the portions were tiny — the tacos were small and the rice was just as little. For the price, you can definitely find better quality and value somewhere else. The waitress was okay and tried her best while juggling several customers, but overall, I wouldn’t go back.
