Wonderful experience here with not a single dish we regret. Everything tasted very balanced and seasoned just about perfectly. On the way up the elevator we were given a glass of bubbly which was a nice touch. We got the hamachi appetizer which was hidden under loads of herbs and fried onions. At first I was scared the herbs would be overpowering but it was very surprisingly balanced and light. We shared a wedge salad which was excellent. The bacon lardons on the salad were so smokey and thick it was addicting. My husband got the salmon and I got the aged ribeye with a side of brussel sprouts. The salmon was fine, seasoned well but on the plain side (i could easily make it myself). The ribeye however was picture perfectly cooked and seasoned with that beautiful aged flavor. It was everything I wanted and more. Pay the extra for it! For dessert we got the sticky date pudding which was incredible. Though on the sweeter side, it was the perfect finish to our night. We took lots of left overs but couldn't be happier with the food and service. Emmanuel was great explaining every dish and giving his recommendations. The vibe of the place was great. Only minus was the music was definitely a bit too loud as I had to have my husband repeat 70% of what he was trying to tell me. I also tripped over this wire thing that led to the dj booth which did scare me as I have knee problems. For a restaurant casino it was great but on the pricey side ($300 with tip for the 2 of us). Would not be opposed to coming back.
We made a reservation but opted to sit at the bar. Best choice. Landry was our bar tender and took exceptional care of us. Excellent suggestions and advice. Being a Chicago native.. the BEST aged bone in ribeye i have ever had. Excellent flavored without being masked by unnecessary seasoning. Wonderful drinks and fantastic atmosphere. Truly wouldn't have been the same without Landry and we were 1st timers. Hooked on this spot. If your a Phonecian... this beats Dominicks, Steak 44, Oceans... you name it... no body checks all the boxes like Prime!! Great job team!!!
Just went here with my husband last night before the Clay Walker concert. Breathtaking views. The food and drinks were amazing. We had the fire-roasted shrimp, wedge salad, Wagyu fried rice, and a NY strip- everything tasted amazing. Marco was our server and he made great suggestions on the food and drinks. The atmosphere of the whole restaurant is very cool, a little seductive. Perfect for date night, which is what our occasion was last night.
Truly a special place. Not cheap, of course, but WELL worth the cost of admission if you can afford it. We had rounds of drinks, appetizers, main course, desserts, EVERYTHING and it was ALL outstanding. Highly recommended!!
Came here on 11/22/25 and had a reservation. We were sat on time and had a wonderful server named Michael. He was engaging, knowledgeable and efficient. Our food was fantastic as well as our cocktails. I’m taking a star away from “atmosphere” because of the DJ playing loud music. It was very loud and sounded like a club. So if you’re looking for a quiet romantic dinner this isn’t the place although the food and service were awesome.
This rating is for their brunch experience. Been here twice now for that. Great service, ambiance, and taste. Last time we were here they didn’t have oysters for their seafood tower yet so they comped us with shrimp cocktail. Completely unexpected and so nice. Their service really is so great. They great you with a glass of champagne. The outdoor seating is amazing when it’s nice outside.
Prime is hands down one of my favorite spots, especially when I’m looking to treat myself after blowing a couple thousand at the casino. My go-to is The Tower — a seafood masterpiece stacked with Oysters on the Half Shell, King Crab, Jumbo Shrimp, and Yellowtail Carpaccio, all paired perfectly with cocktail sauce, Dijon mustard sauce, remoulade, and mignonette. For only $185, the amount and quality you get is honestly unbeatable for a seafood tower. Every bite is fresh, decadent, and exactly what I need to blow off some steam and enjoy the good life. This has become my ritual every time I hit the casino — Prime + The Tower = perfection.
Why didn't anyone tell me we had such an experience in our backyard?!? The views from the 11th floor were great. Next visit will be in the cooler season and we'll enjoy an outdoor table with the distant mountain views. The service from Michael - and help from Jose - was top notch. Reading any need in advance, great suggestions and you could see that the entire dining room was being well cared for. We started with cocktails and yellowtail carpaccio. Great starter. Next was a filet and scallops. You need to try the scallops... all of the "friends" on that plate worked so very well together. The steak? Perfect! I don't often use that word but it was deserved. We were celebrating a birthday and - yes - the staff took really good care to help celebrate as well. Nothing cheesy, but aligning with the standards you'd expect from here. Honestly, it wasn't an inexpensive date night venue but for a special evening I would absolutely keep this place at the top of my options. Oh - can't forget, they have a dj playing the right rhythms for the dining room. It really was foundational to the right vibe for the entire evening.
What a wonderful experience! My girlfriends and I felt like true VIPs! Excellent hospitality and ambiance. This is a wonderful place to have a girls night out or a date night! We will be returning! The food was top tier and the service absolutely fantastic!
We had a great time at Prime. Drinks were very good, seafood tower was clgreat, and the cavier was superb. New York strip was perfectly cooked and delicious! Had a great time with my buddies here, and will be going again!
We had an unforgettable birthday dinner at Prime Shula’s Steak House. From the delicious and flavorful appetizers to the mouthwatering entrees and decadent desserts, cocktails, every dish was exceptional. The atmosphere was perfect for the occasion, and the service was outstanding. Special thanks to Manny, Ryan, and Elena for their exceptional attention to detail and for making the night truly special. The entire Shula’s team deserves our respect, and we highly recommend this restaurant for any celebration whether it’s an anniversary, birthday, or any special occasion.
We absolutely love coming here and sitting at the bar. The view is beautiful and the employees are amazing. I need to give a HUGE shoutout to Landon 😇 he is one of the bartenders and is an amazing human being. Every time we are there he goes over and above. He is a huge asset
This was quite an experience from start to finish. You check in on the first floor where you are offered champagne. You ride a private glass elevator up to floor 11 while enjoying a fantastic view of the mountains. Once on 11, you have a brief wait in a cush room with leather furniture. Progressive house music is playing at a reasonable volume throughout the restaurant. We chose outdoor seating, and it was definitely the right choice. The view is stunning. I ordered the ribeye cooked medium with dirty potatoes. It was my birthday dinner, so I was surprised with a west coast oyster with caviar and a prawn with a very delicious and unique horseradish served on ice. I also was brought out a slice of gluten-free baked cheesecake at the end. This is a very celiac friendly dining experience. Professional hospitality at its best. Highly recommend. Expect to pay at least $100 per person. It's totally worth it.
I can’t say enough great things about this restaurant. We were part of a large dinner party and the entire experience was fantastic. The salad was delicious and the vinaigrette dressing was extremely tasty. My steak was cooked to perfection, and the asparagus was seasoned just right. I also had some whipped mashed potatoes that practically melted in your mouth. For dessert, we were offered the key lime pie and the flourless chocolate cake. Both were delicious! Finally the spectacular view of the sunset was the topping of a perfect evening. I highly recommend this place!
My husband and I have been searching for a great restaurant with a view and Prime exceeded our expectations in both along with exceptional service (shoutout to Sitti who was our server) We went here for Valentines Day and were blown away by the overall experience. We were greeted with complimentary Champagne prior to getting on the elevator to the rooftop restaurant. They brought out roses while dining which was another added touch for the holiday. Everything we ordered exceeded our expectations. We started off with one of our favorites - French Onion soup which was cooked to perfection along with very flavorful burrata and one of the best crab cakes I have ever tasted. I ordered the filet and my husband the ribeye both were amazing! For sides we got the whipped potatoes and mushrooms (my hubby doesn’t eat mushrooms and dared to try these and reluctantly admitted he actually liked them - they were to die for) In addition to the fabulous dining experience, the team (thank you Jennifer, Sitti, and Stella) went ABOVE and BEYOND to help me gift a replacement wedding ring to my husband after he lost it a year ago on our honeymoon. They far exceeded anything I imagined by bringing the ring out on a dessert platter with a personalized sign and then brought me out 1/2 dozen of roses wrapped in a crystal band, even sprinkling little flowers on the table. The little touches is what really stood out to me. It was such an overall amazing experience, we will certainly be going back.
Delicious food, amazing service and definitely a vibe! Will definitely be back again!
This is hands down the best steak I have ever had! We go to Wild Horse often. We have been to Shula's about 3 times. We have had a great time!
We were invited out by friends to celebrate some birthdays and anniversaries that we missed during the shut down. My wife and I had never been to Shula's Steak House. We both ordered the Filet Mignon and was cooked to perfection. The flavor was just wonderful and it was very tender. I tried the Maryland Crab Cakes which were very delicious and very much up to par with the Crab Cakes we ate in Baltimore and Annapolis Maryland. We tried the sides Mushrooms, Scalloped Potatoes and Signature Mac & Cheese. The server Alexjandro was very attentive and made sure we had all we needed. We also tried 3 desserts Cheesecake, Seven Layer Chocolate Cake and Carrot Cake. All very delicious. Restaurant was clean as were the restrooms. We had a wonderful experience and cannot wait to return.
We had the best service from Jeret, perfect Cadillac margarita, French onion soup amazing, whipped potatoes and dirty potatoes incredible. Wedge salad off the charts, filet so tender and just lovely and cheesecake for desert so delicious. Whole dinner experience 20 plus out of 10.
One of the "BEST SERVICE" and dining experience one can hope for. I will entrust significant event to Prime Shula restaurant to ensure the most of a culinary experience. My blessing to the staff and management a job well done. From the hostess, kitchen, waitress/waiter staff and cleaning crew for superior service. Highly recommended to experience for yourself.
Greeted at private elevator with a glass of champagne. Outstanding seafood platter appetizer. Had two double cut lamb chops, perfectly cooked. Complimentary sunset cocktail as sun set to the west. Overall great anniversary evening.
I love this place. The ambiance is everything… the food is amazing and the staff is very friendly. The manager Harvey is the best. He introduced himself, he made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed to make our experience the best. We sat outside by the fireplace and enjoyed the night time experience. Thank you Harvey for your hospitality. I would definitely recommend this place and I will be back again.
The decor inside is beautiful. Has a beautiful view of the sunset while eating. Very romantic setting for date nights. The mixed drinks were very strong. Kind of pricey to eat there. The prices of food were separate from main course and sides but well worth it the food was fantastic. I will be going back on date night with my wife.
We had a great time visiting Prime. The food was excellent, the service was great, and the view was amazing. I recommend sitting on the terrace for a bite if you are able. The place isn't cheap but it's a well spent splurge. We will definitely be back.
Had a great birthday meal here. Love the atmosphere, although it is almost too loud to have a conversation. Our server Julio was fabulous, and helped make it a special night. The prices don’t bother me, but might be a little high for some.
We love the food, the appetizers are great. It’s a little pricey but it’s great if you go for a special occasion, the steak is great my wife gets the scallops they are her favorite. The appetizer we prefer is the crispy octopus, a must have at Shula. The only thing I did not like is that we had reservations, we got there 10 minutes early and still waited 15 minutes after I had the reservation and the music was l little too loud but other than that we love it!!
This place is outstanding. We enjoyed an amazing dinner before a show and were so impressed with absolutely everything. The DJ created a fun, casual vibe. The views were beautiful. Our server Manny was polite, attentive and took exceptional care of us from start to finish. In fact, the entire staff was very courteous and efficient. And of course the food was fantastic. We started with the crab cake and shrimp cocktail. Both were perfect. We each had the filet and added the half lobster tail and diver scallops. So good. SO good. Prime is a must visit. You will not be disappointed. We can't wait to go back!
Wow! Words cant describe what an amazing dinner I just had here. The atmosphere was upbeat and high end; beautifully decorated. The staff are informed, well trained, engaging, and kept recommending amazing drinks & food. Victoria was an amazing server. Chef Bob went above and beyond in presentation and creation. The warm hand towels were such a great touch. Did I already say wow? I cant wait to go back and try even more of the epic menu. Also. PERFECT filet cook. The dessert was so good we took photos! Highly recommend.
My fiance and I had our end of 2025 date night at Prime and the food, service and environment were absolutely top tier!!!! The steak melted in our mouth and he hasn't stopped talking about going back soon.
My husband and I dined at Prime, A Shula's Steak House for our Anniversary dinner. The ambiance was very nice, muted lighting, beautiful sunset views of the mountains and a live DJ playing music. Our server Emanuel was very friendly, knowledgeable of the menu and attentive. The reason I gave 4 stars for the food was because the prices were a bit high, and everything on the menu was a la carte. Although the food was delicious and the meal well prepared, we thought it was a bit overpriced. We did enjoy ourselves and had a nice Anniversary celebration.🙂
Could not have been a nicer experience. The food, the service, the view. All spectacular. Taylor is by far the best server we’ve ever had. Apparently there is no dress code as suggested. Hoodies, shorts, t-shirts, sandals, kids on iPads. It’s unfortunate that people can’t respect an upscale restaurant. Sad.
Gluten free options keep dwindling where I probably won't return. Wait staff always very detailed and attentive. They go out of their way to give you a great experience. I have to eat gluten free or I get extreme sick, not just on a fad diet. Told I can't have potatoes mashed or their dirty potatoes, and they receive them "as pellets" not as fresh potatoes. Mushrooms are my favorite out of anywhere I have gotten them. Steaks always cooked perfectly. Appetizer options shrimp cocktail or oysters only. Wedge salad has lots of dill in the dressing. Only sorbet available for gluten free dessert. They used to have a great flourless cake or brownie but they said they removed many of the gluten free items off lately. Beautiful view at sunset.
It was my first visit to this lovely rooftop restaurant, where we arrived early to relax and enjoy the stunning sunset views. I was impressed by the spicy prawn, perfectly cooked with just the right balance of heat. The pull-back ribs were uniquely presented, almost like a piece of cake, and paired wonderfully with our wine. The grilled crispy octopus was another fantastic addition to the menu. The oysters were briny and full of sweet, fresh seafood flavor. The king crab legs were incredibly fresh and sweet, though quite pricey at nearly $100 for just two pieces. While I would have preferred the crab cake to be crispier on the outside, it was still delicious. The cocktails were excellent, especially the coffee martini, which I enjoyed while taking in the sunset from the balcony.
I celebrated my birthday with my husband at the Prime, a Shula's Steak House restaurant yesterday. Staff was so friendly. Nice views from the restaurant. But a little bit pricey if compare to other five star restaurants. Steaks do not come with a side dish. Everything we had includeded the additional add-on prices like a bread basket $6, Asparagus $12, Mushrooms $13. We paid $300 for two steaks with side dish and wine. But we happy to pay for view of restaurant and our expectations were met.
Wonderful Birthday experience with beautiful views of south mountain and Desert. Excellent customer service! Can't remember our waiter's name but he he waited on Martin lawrence last month. Also shout out to waiter Mike (previously of Vee Quiva) good to see that he's still doing well!
We headed to prime on a Friday night. Make sure you have a reservation it was packed. Overall solid, the steak is fantastic, mashed potatoes and mac and cheese are great. The shrimp cocktail was also good. Cocktails are fantastic and colonel Taylor for 18 bucks a pour isnt terrible. Service was great and views outside are crazy good.
Very nice restaurant. They start you off with a glass of champagne while you wait. The waiting are is a bit small if you have a larger group. The service was great. Very friendly staff. Food was amazing. Fantastic wine and champagne selection. My only issue was the noise. They had a DJ playing, and it was quite loud. You could only speak to the person right next to you. But I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Over the last 5 years I have tried branching out for special occasions and trying new places on the more upscale dining experience. And we were blown away with how good the food was! It was so good the first time that went back less than a month later just to eat it again. Their wedge salad wedge salad is a meal in and of itself and their “bacon” on top is more like pork belly burnt ends that you would find at a bbq restaurant. Their wedge dry age steak they had the first time was phenomenal but they unfortunately didn’t have it the second time. While I think this is the best place to go if you want a great steak and outstanding food I probably won’t come here for a special occasion. I’ve had the same server twice now and he seems to be off put to the fact that he was serving us. My wife and I don’t drink and that sometimes puts a bad taste in servers mouths because that usually means their tip won’t be as high but we usually order both a mocktail and a soda which should compensate for that and regardless of service I always tip really well. However it kind of kills the mood of a special occasion when your server seems genuinely annoyed that he needs to take your order or is extremely rude if you ask for your check even though you had both been done eating for 30 minutes. (You’d think he’d want to turn the table and make another tip) Lastly the first time we came we sat next to the DJ and it was so loud we had a hard time hearing each other pair with what seemed like a bachelorette party near us drunk and just as loud. Our second time when we made the reservation we requested not to be next to the DJ they sat us only one table further than before but honestly we learned that it doesn’t matter the whole place is just loud. The food gives this place the potential to be 5 stars but their customer service and concert level music make it tough to want to go back and enjoy a special occasion.
My partner, daughter and I came here last week for dinner reservations at 6:45 pm. The restaurant is beautiful and overlooks the beautiful sunset while you’re dining. During better weather, I would have opted for outdoor seating. Service was great. We started with drinks — I don’t remember the name of the drink I ordered but it was well-balanced, bright and refreshing. My partner ordered the fun drink that comes in a wooden smoking box. The server brings out the drink and there is a pair of dice. If you call out a number and roll that number with the dice, they comp your drink. We tried 3 times and didn’t win but it was a super fun experience and opportunity! To start, we had the short rib croquette — it was a great plate to share and came with a pickle herb salad and an aioli for dipping. Super tasty! I really enjoyed the herby brightness that the pickle salad brought to the dish. For our entrees, we both ordered ribeyes and shared truffle Mac and cheese. My daughter shared with us and loved the steak. However, my partner thought it was extremely salty. In fact, he thought everything was too salty (the steak and the Mac and cheese). I feel like my steak had spots that were definitely over salted but I think his was much more saturated. He ate it still regardless. To end our meal, we had the Basque Cheesecake. It was a different style than I’ve had but tasty nonetheless. Again, my partner felt like the dessert was also salty (I believe it was the graham cracker crust that he felt was salty). It was also served with fruit that I felt didn’t go well with the cheesecake (I would have preferred something like strawberries). For the price, I would have liked my partner to have enjoyed his food more. It was disappointing for that reason. I’ll give them another shot again eventually — perhaps it was a one off evening.
Honestly really wanted to love this place. The views are amazing, the music was great. Service started out really well but then we waited a really long time for our food and didn’t see our server after that. We had to ask a manager for our bill. The food was just average. The oysters were fresh, but everything else just lacked a little elevation. The tuna tartar was nothing special but tasted fresh. Our drinks didn’t have much taste. No complex flavours. The bolognese tasted pretty average. $52 for four scallops. They were cooked well but just came piled with mushrooms on a bit of puréed cauliflower. Expected this to be so much better for the cost. We spent $180 on our meal and drinks.
I think the Shula family should take his name off the restaurant. Coach Shula asked for perfection and the restaurant really missed the mark. The prime rib cut looked sad, it was very chewy and not very flavorful. I will say the asparagus and whipped potatoes were great. But you go for the steak, great view but you'll be sad viewing the price you paid for that view.
We came to Shulas with a gift certificate. Had a great meal, then we were held hostage for at least 30 minutes while they tried to figure out how to apply the gift certificate. When we complained they acted like we were unreasonable. They said- “I’m done with you!”Not good!
I came in with some friends last Friday. The food was as good as you'd expect for the prices you're paying. The champagnes are extremely overpriced. The drinks were as tasty as they were pretty. Of the places we ate, this was the best sunset view. The only issue we had, and it's a big one, is the noise. The music was very loud and felt like we were in a club. We could barely hear the waiter or each other. I left with a headache that lasted 3 days
You are only as food as the food served. We ordered 2 dozen oysters. They were do tiny like strings. How the hell do they charge what they do for scrawny oysters. We have had in past was fine at another prime. Had them taken away removed off the bill. The wages fried rice over done crunchy. We expect better from this restaurant. This was a celebration for a member of our family. Tge room was hot. We waited a long time between drinks being replenished as well.
The food was good. They gave us an outside table and the view was beautiful. Food took forever to come out. The server asked if everything tasted good after 10 seconds the food was brought out. Like we had not even eaten yet. Then he never came back to help us. It was a little windy but he didn’t even try to light up the candle for the birthday dessert. Need to train your servers better.
We were there to celebrate a birthday and the waitress was not paying attention to the orders. My stake that cost $85 came out not how I like it after I specifically asked for a certain way the waitress was mia had yo ask for refreshment from other staff members and they were not that busy. The food would’ve been good. Had it been cooked the way I asked the waitress did not listen to the order properly kind of a waste of money in my view because it was not a good experience. I was expecting a little bit more from that attentiveness would’ve been key For the order.
Most of my food i did not like. Steak was wonderful. It was our 55th anniversary and nothing seemed special about being there.. The music was more like too loud disco music, we could hardly talk over it. I asked twice if they would turn it down, they never did. For $260.00 it did not deserve my vote. I would not recommend it, especially for the cost for a mediocre experience and meal.
AVOID this place if you want good food or a nice atmosphere! It is beyond NOISY! They have a DJ playing loud club music and everyone has to yell at each other to have a conversation even when you are sitting directly next to them. The food was below average for the High Prices! They have an identity crisis. They dont know if they should be a club or restaurant. Both terrible! I will never return!
It took me almost a week to decide whether to write this review, because I’ve been to Prime Shula’s Steakhouse in the past and had an excellent experience. That history is exactly why I chose it to celebrate a very important accomplishment for my son, with a party of nine. Unfortunately, this visit was a complete disappointment from start to finish. We arrived early, as the restaurant requires. At check-in, the hostess said our reservation was for eight people. I explained it was for nine, and her response was, “Well, you’re going to have to squeeze in.” That was an inappropriate comment—especially considering it was a Monday night and the restaurant was not busy. Despite having a 7:00 PM reservation, we were not seated until around 7:20 PM. Guests are told to arrive early and are given only a 15-minute grace period, yet the restaurant exceeded that themselves. Once seated, service was extremely slow. We waited a long time just to order appetizers. I asked specifically about the oysters, asking if they were a decent size. I was assured they were. When they arrived, they were shockingly small—so small that it genuinely appeared as if one oyster had been divided into tiny pieces across the shells. At $50 for 12 oysters, this should be a top-tier item. It was not. They did remove them from the bill after I complained. I then asked about the crab cakes, again asking about size and quality. I was told they were substantial and shareable for 2–4 people. What arrived was a single, very small crab cake, maybe two-thirds the size of a drink coaster, priced at $25. It was not impressive and lacked flavor. Throughout the night, service remained painfully slow. We waited a long time between courses, and I noticed multiple tables around us—including a very large party—receiving much faster service. By the time our dinners arrived, those tables were finished and gone. That is not acceptable service. Dinner itself continued the disappointment. Half our party ordered pasta, the other half steaks. For a prime steakhouse, the steaks were shockingly bland. At $68 for an 8-ounce steak, it should arrive perfectly seasoned and delicious. Instead, the restaurant aggressively upsells extras—$6 for steak butter, $6 for sauces—which should not be necessary at this price point. A steak at this level should stand on its own. It did not. We also ordered the Wagyu fried rice, which we have had before. This time it was dry and unremarkable.None of the other appetizers we ordered were remarkable either! Nothing we ate was inedible—but nothing was prime. Not for the prices being charged. To make matters worse, the dining room was uncomfortably warm, and several of my guests complained about the temperature. In total, we spent over $1,100 for nine people, and the experience delivered terrible service, mediocre food, and zero sense of occasion. I chose this restaurant because I believed they would deliver a great experience for an important family celebration. Instead, it was a disaster. Honestly, the Texas Roadhouse we go to for less than 20% of the cost delivers a far better experience—friendlier staff, well-seasoned steaks, and food that actually tastes good. I will never return. This was a complete waste of money, and I cannot think of a single thing that night that justified the price.
This was my second time. The service is absolutely terrible. How can you mess up fine dining? The steak was the same quality you would get at an Outback Steakhouse. My advice: get a drink at the bar and soak up the atmosphere and eat somewhere else
