Could not have been happier! Mia was our server and she was both sweet and swift! And the food did not disappoint, every bite was like a dream! I would highly recommend this place, from start to finish a wonderful evening!

What a freaking experience.. I've been at some of the best steak houses in the United States 🇺🇸... this place is nothing short of top notch..PERIOD!! Bone In Prime...what to say. Perfection! Chef's kiss! I cannot wait to come back. We came with my family for my Dad's birthday and had a reservation - we were promptly sat at our reservation time. Started off with the Burrata special. SO GOOD! For dinner I ordered the Rack of Lamb and it was cooked perfectly (medium). The mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts sides were also very flavorful. I ate it up fast! Finished off the night with the crème brûlée dessert, and the staff even sang happy birthday to my Dad. One of best meals we've had, hands down, and the wait staff were so kind - made the night even better. Super excited to find this gem in Cheshire. Definitely worth the trip!

We had a fantastic experience here last night. Julian was our server and he was amazing, as was the whole staff. We started with the tuna tartare and it was delicious, it literally melted it my mouth. The porterhouse for two was out of this world... Cooked absolutely perfectly! We can't wait to go back!

We went here for my daughter's 8th birthday. The filet mignon was amazing , everything was delicious actually. My son said the NY strip got better with every bite and the staff was very accommodating, my Daughter felt very special Great Job !

This restaurant it’s amazing for steak lovers! Tomahawk steak was perfect, wine menu is great, the pasta is with eggplant (so so), mac and cheese was good. Great customer service.

Absolutely delicious from appetizers to dessert! The French onion soup was rich and flavorful and the creme brûlée was deceptively light with the perfect crispy layer of caramelized sugar. And of course if you love steak (or in my case, good fish) this is the place for you! The wild Canadian salmon was a treat.

I took my husband to Bone In Prime for his birthday and he loved it. He said it was the best filet mignon he has ever had. Our waiter Julian was great to us, fun and super attentive! We will definitely be back soon!

I took my Husband here yesterday for his birthday and it was amazing!! From the food to the service. Julian was great!! He made sure we felt welcomed. His kindness spoke for itself. He was patient with us and even gave us some ideas on certain dishes. You can tell that he is passionate about his work and he really works hard to make sure you have a great experience. At one point we thought he was the owner. The food added more to the experience as well. Tender meat and the presentation was beautiful!! Would recommend. Julian thank you so much for your kindness. With all of the madness in the world it feels good to know people really can still be kind, happy, and willing to go above and beyond for you to smile.

This is the best place I have ever been. This steak was melting in my mouth. Cheshire have the best you don’t have to go to city to have a good steak. Just got here I recommend definitely.

Great hamburgers at lunch. We ate here today and was pleasantly surprised by the large, house grind hamburgers. They had to be at least a half pound each and were served perfectly with a great bun and good side of fries.

Went to bone in prime and immediately felt welcomed walking through the door. JULIAN was our waiter and was as kind, polite and friendly as can be. The food was amazing starting with the lobster crab cakes. The steaks were fabulous. Will definitely be back..

This place was AMAZING! Went with a group for a company Christmas party. Had heard 50/50 shot with reviews. But they have New owners and the entire group was blown away but the food. One of the best dinners in a long time. Compliments to the chef! I had a filet with creamed spinach, asparagus, creme brule for dessert. We were not cramped, the place was quiet we could talk, one section to ourselves. Felt like kings and queens. The wait staff was incredible, and polite. All of us said, We will be returning for sure.

First time here and will definitely be coming back! I had a reservation for 7:30pm but got there earlier and they sat us. The waiter Admir was very polite and attentive! The food presentation was excellent and the food tasted absolutely delicious! I appreciate everything this restaurant had offered me! Thank you again and I’ll be back!

We’ve driven past Butcher Bros so many times and wondered what it was like, and I’m glad we finally went inside! It was a quiet Sunday evening on Labor Day weekend, and we went early for 5pm, so it was pretty laid back. The food came out quickly from the kitchen, and our server was attentive. We loved the fresh bread, crab cake, side dishes, and all of the meat was cooked perfectly. We also appreciated the nice presentation of my husband’s New York strip. The bar area was beautiful, so we moved there to enjoy a coffee and tiramisu. We hope to visit again for another date night or special occasion!

It was our first time coming here. Everything was perfect. The service was phenomenal. Our waiter was so friendly & professional. The cocktails were so good. The appetizers & main course were delicious & cooked just how we asked. They even gave us a free dessert for our anniversary. We cannot wait to come back. Highly recommend!

I love coming here! They are the best!!! I come here so often they recognize me and treat me with the best care ever. Their ambiance is amazing and their food is to die for. They have different events for every occasion and it’s so cute. I met every employee working here and again they are amazing. If you want good happy hour they have one of the best to have. 100% will always come back here!

We've been here a few times and the food and drinks have always been great. Portions are good-sized. We typically sit in the bar area which is fairly spacious and have always received good service in there. There is also sometimes live music which is nice. It's also a little calmer than their neighbor down the street so if you're looking for more of that vibe this is a good option.

We sat at the bar bartender was great super friendly and made really good cocktails. We split a ribeye steak and it was cooked perfectly and was delicious. The only complaint was they had live entertainment an older couple singing and playing the violin and I feel bad to say but they wear horrible and really shouldn't have been in a restaurant where people are paying close to $70 for steaks and $15 for cocktails it just ruined the vibe. But the place was still a great place and food was awesome.

Best steak I've ever had. Tuna tartar appetizer was okay, wouldn't order again, but the crab cake was delicious and a large portion. We got the porterhouse steak for two and it was phenomenal, hands down the best steak I've ever eaten. The sauces and sides were decent, nothing special. Service was very attentive, good quality drinks, atmosphere wasn't bad. Will definitely be back.

We found this place just by accident and it was way beyond our expectations! The service was great and the rib eye was delicious along with the mashed potatoes which were magically delicious and the crème brûlée hands down the best! It’s pricey but worth it , you get what you pay for! Worth every penny!

This place is a wonderful addition to the Cheshire community! They made our dining experience delightful and memorable. Edwin and his teams are extremely personable and made us feel like we are royalty — something to be marveled. The steak was cooked to perfection with impeccable sides. And most of all, they have a great birthday celebration tradition for their guests! Thanks again to the crew there — we will be back!!!

This place was great! Not overly crowded, incredible service and amazing smoked old fashioned! I had the daily special which was about $45 and included an 8 oz filet mignon, shrimps, mashed potatoes, and a cream spinach side that was so so good! I wish I would have taken a picture!

The steak and lamb were both some of the best we have ever had, cooked perfectly and tasted delicious! The lava cake for dessert was also superb. The service was amazing and perfectly attentive, from both our server and the support staff. Very nice place, only complaint would be we didn’t love the vegetables served with our dinners but they were still not bad! Will definitely be back and be recommending to others.

We just ate here for the first time and already can't wait to come back. Our server Edwin provided excellent service, he was friendly, attentive and quick to answer any of our questions. The food was phenomenal I absolutely recommend the French onion soup and tuna tar tar for appetizers. The steaks were great as well. We will absolutely be back!

Nice experience. We will be back. We had clams on the half shell, beef carpaccio,wild mushroom raviolis and 24oz dry aged rib eye steak. Everything was great the only the 24 oz ribeye should say it is bone-in on the menu.

Good service and great food. Ordered the burrata, which was okay. The one piece of prosciutto was a little underwhelming and the canned pineapple took away from the taste of the dish. However, the crab and lobster crab cakes were well worth the price. They were the perfect texture with a small bit of heat in the sauce. We also ordered the grilled peaches, which had a nice mix of sweetness contrasted with the cheese on top. The nuts added the right amount of crunch. My husband ordered steak, while I ordered seafood. The steak was done beautifully. Perfectly cooked, seasoned wonderfully and like a good filet should, almost melt in your mouth quality. I had the Zuppa de Pecse which was flavourful and the seafood was tender. Worth the trip.

My gf really liked the salad. It was a cold salad but had hot mushrooms on it. The creamed spinach was decent. Truffle fries were meh and the steak was ok but lacked flavor. They actually undercooked the steak and it had less flavor after they took it back and cooked it properly. They had the doors open so there were some flies in the dining room area. Overall, it was ok but I don’t think I’d ever go out of my way again to go back but if I was in Cheshire for something, maybe I’d consider it.

I could have made a better steak at home honestly. The steak for two was not seasoned and was fatty. The sides were mediocre. I’ve had a better meal at Texas Roadhouse for a lot less money.

I am really torn on this review. It was my first time here on Valentine’s Day. I have been wanting to try this establishment for some time now. I would like to go another time when it is not a holiday but after spending $300+ my husband would not. Anyways, the good thing about the night was all our food was delicious and we were very happy with that aspect. The bar & kitchen were backed up. Service was just ok. I’m not sure if they were understaffed or not. Thank goodness we went slightly on the earlier side- 7pm because it just got worse for others after us. We sat at our table for atleast 15 minutes or more before someone came over to take our drink order. We also ordered the fried calamari for an appetizer. We received and ate all of our calamari BEFORE our drinks even came. I’m glad I had a glass of water. Overpriced for this experience…might give it another try…I’m not sure though. Last Valentines Day we went to another nearby restaurant which was even busier and their service, food and drinks were all on point! So I am really not sure what went wrong here.

$210 for three mediocre meals. We drank water. No alcohol or soda.... just water. The bernaise sauce had no flavor. Won't be back. I've had better meals at Chili's

this calls for a LOCAL HEALTH department! my boyfriend and i went here for our first time for our anniversary. the atmosphere was inviting and had nice music playing. while entering, us and only one other couple were there. we ordered the meatballs to start, we were given fried mozzarella instead. NO WORRIES! those appetizers, were above exceptional. plus, the fried mozzarella was given to us on the house because of the mistake! my boyfriend ordered the filet migon with two sides. asparagus and truffle mac. i on the other hand, ordered fettuccine alfredo. we wish the steak was more tender. now, that isn't my problem. while we were eating, we saw this.

Had high hopes for this place..Such a let down. Ordered filet cooked medium, came out Rare.. sent back and it took about 10 minutes to come back and my husband was already done with his. Took a long time to receive any drink or for anybody to check on us. Only good thing was the mashed potatoes which is sad. Super overpriced and not worth it- go elsewhere for less and better food.

Waited 2 hours for a raw burger. People all around me got their food and paid, all these people also showed up 30-45 minutes after I did and were finished their meal before me.

The ambience is 1970's brown, the food is overpriced and basic. The vegetables were raw, especially the carrots and my steak was overcooked. I ordered my steak medium rare and I received it well done. For $65 each, they couldn't even cook our steaks correctly. (Only one was cooked as requested) Our server was great up until the end of our meal, we sat waiting for our bill for over 20 minutes. I finally had to get up and pay at the register. I could have spent half of our bill ($370) at Texas Roadhouse and had a much better steak at less than half the price. We will never go back and we will never recommend Butcher Brothers. Sorry Dad, for a terrible Father's Day dinner. 😔 PS - As I read through the other reviews after I posted mine, I noticed there are no responses from the owners. That right there shows they couldn't care less...

I have to leave this review in the parking lot before leaving after the worst dinner I have had in a very long time. The steak was so thin and overcooked. I barely ate more than a couple bites and only took it to go to bring home for my dog. The cocktails were subpar to say the least. And for a Friday night out, the only music was a solo guitarist who was so depressing my dad made the comment that it felt like we were at a funeral. My daughter couldn't even eat the kids pasta she said it tasted "gross." Six of us at the table and all five of the steaks we wanted to send back. Highly not recommended. We will never be back. I can't believe they are in business still.

First, let me say that the food was outstanding. We were a party of 13 that had a 6:30 reservation. Our order was taken around 7. We finally received our food at 9:30! The waiter kept telling us he was very sorry for the wait and that they were having problems with the dishes! They did offer a free round of drinks twice and offered free dessert after we were done eating around 10:15! so, they gave the person who paid the bill a 100.00 gift card. The rest of us were offered a free drink and a dessert. Like I said, the food was outstanding but not worth waiting for three hours to get it! Lastly, you can pay for a sauce to go with your steak, which we did. Most of us were just about done with our meal by the time they brought out the sauce.
