You are going here for the atmosphere which is very cool. The service is like- don’t expect great. You will likely be served by a tipsy young adult in a plastic cup. The drinks are not good but that’s not the point- they were strong though. The cheese plate was decent. They have a very cool beach cabana section and couches. Very breezy.

Food and service is great. Amazing view of North Ave., Beach sitting outside. Order the short club sandwich, which was massive! Highly suggest splitting this with somebody in your group!

Stopped by here on a nice Monday afternoon and it was very chill. Not many people and the service was great. I've been here on summer weekends and it gets very very busy. It was nice to enjoy the place without loud music and a huge crowd. We got the frozen cocktail flight and it was great. Interesting twist on some common cocktails, such as an Old Fashioned, Pina Colada, Paloma. The drinks were strong and flavorful. We sat outside and had a great view of the lake. Plenty of great outdoor seating. The indoor seating is great as well. Awesome views of the lake. The atmosphere of this place is chill and laid back. Very much has that beach/pool club vibe. I would definitely recommend this spot, but more so as a starting spot for day drinking or as a tourist spot.

Shoutout to John, Addy and Theresa who were so helpful and attentive, making our visit extra special. We ordered the frozen cocktail flight which came with a variety of flavors and was the perfect size.

I love this place. It's right on the beach. It's got cute beach party vibes. Delicious, fun sharable cocktails. The food is decent too. I highly recommend the skirt steak and the poke appetizer.

Shore Club is the best place for the summer in Chicago. From having some of the delicious food they have to offer to the amazing and well presented cocktails combined with a friendly staff always ready to welcome with open arms and make you feel at home. You can’t miss with visiting that place I strongly encourage you to check it out and try the Grey Goose Moscow Mule. One of the best in the city.

Phenomenal atmosphere, incredible staff, overall 5 star review, I gave the food 3, just because I believe for the price it could be a little bit better (more filling). But overall, I would recommend anyone who asks to give it a try. ☺️

Such a cool restaurant, right on the beach. They had indoor and outdoor seating. The drinks were great, we tried the Margarita flight. The food was very tasty. We really enjoyed the atmosphere of this restaurant. Highly recommend

Beautiful views. Felt like I was vacationing on an island🤣. Booked a table for a birthday party. Shared the frozen flight with my fiancé and we enjoyed the different flavors. I had the shoe club sandwich and had no idea how big the sandwich was! I cut it up into fourths to help from it becoming messy. Waitress was accommodating when more people showed up in our group and got moved to a bigger table.

Feel like I had an unexpected Miami Beach break. Great vibe, cool tunes, surprisingly fresh & excellent food, good spot by the lake, great people watching. Can’t think of a better “beach spot” in the Midwest (duh, but you know what I mean 😉). It’s on the expensive side for sure, but not to belabour the point, this is a great beach bar … in the Midwest 🙄 … so what do we expect? Go on a great summer day, you won’t regret it

We got married here in June and wow what an amazing experience! Great atmosphere, food, and drinks! We seriously couldn't have asked for a more perfect day! Special shout out to Christie, director of events, you truly made our dreams come true! Thanks to all the lovely staff and to the chefs that made the delicious lemon tarts! Our guests are still raving about the wedding. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts 💕

Came here for brunch with my cousins who were visiting from out of town and we immediately knew the vibes were good. The music, the service, the atmosphere, the drinks, the FOOD! All 10/10. We had such a memorable, pleasant first experience here and we definitely will be coming back!

Great beach vibe - energetic and chill at same time. Service impeccable. Food excellent - which is remarkable since I entered expecting to trade off less for food quality in exchange for fantastic views of Lake Michigan and the beach and the beautiful ambiance here at the restaurant. My reviews a little late but came here over the summer and it was such a good time! It’s right on the beach and has beautiful light coming in from all directions! We did a girls brunch here and it was fantastic! I split the shore club sandwich (is absolutely giant!) and baked French toast with a friend. They were both fantastic and a perfect blend of savory and sweet. The French toast is a pretty small portion on its own so would recommend pairing it with something if you’re hungry. Overall, a great experience!!

This was mine and my fiancé’s first time going to Shore Club, and it was absolutely perfect. The day was beautiful, we got seated immediately, and were told that the patio was dog friendly. Our server Annie was really kind, prompt with her service, and very attentive. We would absolutely go back here again, knowing this is the level of service received.

Tequila Tuesday is where it's at! 1/2 off tequila drinks! Fantastic vibes on Lake Michigan... food is fresh and delicious. Vegan 'chickn' option for gyro/salads. 👌 Bonus points for having a dog friendly patio!

First time eating by the lake and I loved the experience at Shore Club. Staff was wonderful and food was great. I'll be back next summer. 💜

Beautiful view, great food, and unique cocktails. The food was outstanding! We sat inside since it was raining that day, but I'm sure outside would have been even better. I would recommend a reservation normally. We went at 2:30 on a Friday (again it was raining) and were able to get a seat without a reservation. It did fill up quickly about an hour after we arrived. We also took an Uber there, but there is no parking as it is right off the lake. The atmosphere was nice and they had music playing loudly so I wouldn't say this is a good place for an intimate date or bussiness meeting., unless that's your thing. We plan to come back with a bunch of our friends and then enjoy the beach, which is literally right outside the restaurant.

I came down from Wisconsin for an art show with some girlfriends. This was our first time here. The staff were friendly and helpful. We only had some appetizers but everything was amazing. Drinks were delicious. It was great time and we will be back.

I’d say the drinks are overpriced to be premixed and lacking of alcohol but the view, the vibe and food were amazing. Overall, I enjoyed my experience.

Loved the place, music, food, service all. They have nice music playing and gives you a good beach vibe with beach view. We ordered quite a few things loved them salmon, bruschetta and Thai chicken lettuce wraps. The cheese board was ok not bad. Cocktails were good too. Overall a good place to go have lunch or brunch when on North Avenue Beach.

While visiting had the chance to stop here as it was well recommended online. Our waiter was nice, as we ordered the flight of margaritas which was ok but for the price I expected better tasting. We enjoyed the mango but disliked the pina colada as neither my friend or I like that flavor. It would have been great if we could have changed it for another flavor. I did enjoy my salmon salad and my friend enjoyed her lobster tacos.

**review of a vegetarian so take it with a pinch of salt 😊** The kindness of the server made up for the Indifference we were met with at the front desk. Food was very dry and average. We ordered burrata and slouvlaki as those were the only veg options. I asked for French fries and they gave me Sweet potato fries. I give it to the servers as it was a really loud atmosphere. Full points for the ambience and location. Drinks were nice however they were served in plastic glasses which is a let down. Edit: Added a star as the restaurant owner explained why they cant have glass containers near the beach.

This is a good sized venue but it gets very busy. Make sure to reserve a table in advance of you intend to come here. If you walk up, you will likely get seated in the bar area which is fine. Frozen Flight is a great sampler of tasty frozen alcoholic beverages. The Beachside Benedict was delicious. Overall, a.bit pricey for what you get, but the location makes it worth the price.

Lovely view of the beach and a very cute spot for brunch. I enjoyed the people watching by the window as joggers and beach goers passed by. There were some spiders by the window though as others have noted so ask to sit more interior if this would bother you. The Sunday Morning French Toast was a hit! I loved the mascarpone cream and could eat it out of a jar - it is house made and so delicious. Solid coffee as well. Our waitress was so kind to chat with us and meet our needs. Make sure to have your ID on you as we were checked before we got seated. Looks like some parties often get thrown here.

Cool location. Perfect for pretty much any occasion. Tasty food. Slightly more expensive than other restaurants but you're paying for the view. ❣️

Beautiful restaurant with such a great view of the beach. Ordered the cheese board and the 6 frozen minis. Presentation for both was really nice. Thought some of the drinks were a bit too strong for my liking.

The greeters were very friendly as we approached the restaurant. We sat inside since we thought it would be cooler, but we were seriously wrong and moved outside. The breeze outside made all the difference. For food, we ordered lobster tacos and skirt steak with chimichurri sauce, and it was really good. The only complaint we had was that our server never came to check on us once, and although she was very nice, she seemed very inexperienced. We sat and watched as the other table’s server came to check on them several times. The ambience and the scenery of the restaurant is great though. It’s worth paying the ridiculous $25 parking price to get on the beach.

The place is pretty cool and has a good vibe to it. Food was good, I had shrimp and lobster tacos from the menu. It’s a bit “do the bare minimum to be good” wish they had draft beer or at least would serve my beer in a glass. The service slaked a bit but I guess whatever, it’s probably some of the best you can get on the Chicago beach.

Pros: Located at North Avenue Beach with great views of the lake and skyline. I hear that it is a great place to watch air n water show. It’s definitely a beach, day party vibe. Some of the Menu items were really good. I ordered the blackened shrimp tacos (my new favorite) and coconut gelato. I shared cinnamon rolls with my table mates, but I wasn’t too fond of them. I’d rate the cinnamon rolls a 2 out 5 stars. Service was great with a few minor hiccups. Cons: cinnamon roll was a disappointment. Also, they check IDs, but I saw a small child sitting in the dinning area which makes me wonder why IDs are checked.

French toast is more like monkey bread with minimal berries. My wife enjoyed the egg Benedict’s. Would not recommend coffee, 0/10. Service was great. View was outstanding, mostly. Lake Michigan is cool to see while enjoying a meal. Very loud music. Can hardly hear - the environment is suitable for young millennials and Gen Z people. Overall, good brunch experience.

Came here for the first time with my good friends for lunch. It’s located steps from North Ave beach. Our waitress Marisa was very attentive and patient. The food and drinks were subpar and very overpriced. You are basically paying for the great location. Having the beach in the background and the wonderful breeze keeping us nice and cool on a hot summer day was worth the money.

So, the food choices were a bit on the slim side, and I have to admit, our brunch experience left us wanting a bit a lot more. The food and cocktails didn't quite hit the mark for me. The service was slow and it felt like we were mostly just paying for the location. Now, on the bright side, the place has a seriously cool vibe and the location is pretty awesome. While the food might not have wowed us, the setting definitely had its charm.

I’m going to be honest this place is only to enjoy the sea view I ordered some meat tacos and I didn’t like it I asked for a piña colada they gave it to me in a plastic glass lack of resources with a price of $15 😟 the coconut 🥥 if it was delicious I liked a fish of $40 😩 it wasn’t good everything is food garnish I didn’t like the food The waiters do have good customer service Personally, he didn’t like it, it was my experience

To start our experience getting here was a bit tricky. Google Maps wanted to bring us directly to the restaurant. However there is no road or parking lot here. We finally realized that we had to park in the public lot nearby and walk over. It was annoying to realize that we had to pay $27 just to be able to enjoy a meal here. On our walk over from the parking lot we were amazed at such a beautiful location in Chicago! The wide open beach views are fantastic! As we got to the restaurant I was amazed and excited to be there! The atmosphere here is fantastic! If I could give it six stars I would! This type of place is right up my alley and my kind of vibes! They have built and furnished something very impressive here! All the decor, colors and tropical plants and flowers are wonderful! Then the appreciation started to decline rapidly after we were seated. Somehow after we were seated we were forgotten about. I thought maybe the server was busy. Then we noticed more people come in and order and receive drinks before we were even talked to. If the atmosphere wasn't so amazing we would have left by this point. After what felt like ten minutes I went back to the hostess to let her know we hadn't seen a server at all yet. She apologized and went off. (I assume to find a server, but she didn't specify, just left.) Another few minutes after that a server finally came by. He apologized and we remained friendly because of course accidents happen, but it was definitely a sour experience in the hospitality area. Once we ordered we received our drinks and then food fairly promptly. My first drink - a majito wasn't made right and was missing the frest mint, but it was ok otherwise. I order a Mai Tai next and that was done well. Our food was overall really good! The flavors were really good. The presentation was also done very well! The fries were the best I've ever had in life! Seriously up there! The steak I ordered was placed on the fries rather than next to them. Having the steak on top made the fries absorb the flavors making them fantastic! We were due to catch a flight so we took our club sandwich to go and it was still fantastic hours later when we finally ate it! Overall I think this is a fantastic place due to the amazing atmosphere and good food. However bad service always makes me hesitant to give a full recommendation. I really hope this was just an off time and that they generally have good service. If not this is definitely an area to improve on. Had the service been good I would give 4.5 stars! The remaining half star would only be dinged due to the expensive parking situation. To be fair though I have discovered that to drive and park anywhere in Chicago is an expensive experience. So if you are going to pay to park this would be a place that's worth it overall!

It was our 3 rd time at this place this month, we keep coming because of the beautiful location and atmosphere, but every time we get a terrible customer service. Security guy is pretty rude, not welcoming at all. Servers are being very slow and keep forgetting our orders, missing items and having an attitude. Hostess/servers won’t smile or try to make things work. Today it took us 45 minutes to get a server after asking hostess 4 times if there is going to be someone taking care of us. All servers kept saying that they don’t know who our server is. Our server came 45 minutes later, never apologized. After we placed our order, it took us 20 minutes to get our drinks. Some of our friends left to a different place after waiting this long. We ordered a few appetizers, it tasted good , but our food was served in dirty plates. Lettuce for chicken wrap was all small with holes, so there was no way to create an actual wrap. 20% service charge is included, which is very unfair, because no one really cares about customers experience.

The only thing I would return for would be for the view or the natural coconut water, the food arrives quickly but very cold at the table, bad preparation of the food, bad flavor they should change the kitchen shift, the food is very bad it’s a shame with the beautiful view they have, the employees. A Monday at 11am with dirty uniforms and shoes leaves a lot to be desired from the place

We paid $930 for a private event and sat for 30 minutes without being acknowledged. Our server, Maggie, walked past us multiple times, served other tables, and never greeted or checked on our party of four. We eventually had to get up and grab our own waters. After being ignored yet again while she served a table right beside us that sat after us, we decided to leave. (Notice how in the picture, the group beside us already order and recieved their drinks). Even the host said that was completely unacceptable and isn’t sure why she hasn’t served us after 30 mins of being seated. For the price we paid, this is the level of “service” and “food” that was offered, completely unacceptable and absolutely not worth it.
