What a great experience! We ordered jerk chicken, brown stewed chicken, and Ackee & Salt fish. All the dishes were absolutely flavorful. We had the pleasure of hearing the chef share his story, from which we learned that the authentic flavors are an inheritance from the chef’s grandparents and the spices are his own blend, never manufactured. The waitress was also extremely courteous and knowledgeable about the food as well. It felt really homey to dine here. Highly recommend it!

At this point I've tried at least half the menu, all excellent so far. The server was attentive, kind, and gave good suggestions about the menu. This certainly isn't a black tie kind of restaurant but the decor and building give a perfect island feel that compliments the food that's served here. 5 stars if you're looking for relaxed island dining

I love this place!!! My brother brought me here for dinner before covid, and it was so good! We just came up from the Sacramento area for his birthday tonight, and it is still just as fantastic! The Jerk Chicken is literally the best chicken I've ever eaten. The plantains are awesome. The kids chicken strips and island fries were amazing! My kiddo is really picky, but loved the plantains and even had some of my chicken and loved that too! Atmosphere is super relaxed, staff is super nice, and no one is rushing to get you out. You can actually sit and have a family meal and really enjoy each others company in a cool space with incredible food. Prices are ultra reasonable, and portions are enough to bring home a snack :) I can't recommend it enough :)

Absolutely the best. We first found their delicious food at the Thursday night market during the summer and would go every single Thursday to get delicious jerk chicken. Once we found out they had a restaurant we were absolutely hooked!! My favorite part is going for their Jamaican buffet! It’s a great way to try everything you’ve always wanted to from the amazing cuisine. The owner is incredibly kind and really cares about you and the food he serves. You will feel like family and are truly missing out if you skip this incredible place. Yah Man!

This place is awesome! Its a hidden gem for sure. The people who run it are so friendly and willing to help. The food is amazing. On Tempo Saturdays (2nd Saturday of the month) they do a buffet that's out of this world. They also go to the market on Thursday nights! You gotta try them!

Great vibe and good food. Freshly prepared and tasty- we had a wrap, the island fries, and Ital stew, all were good and came out piping hot. Wash it down with a couple of Red Stripes and you just saved a bunch on airfare!

The chef is one of the coolest people you will ever meet. If he's not busy in the kitchen, he'll come talk to you. A genuinely good person and fantastic cook. He also gave my newborn a rastafarian blessing the last time we went. The food is good The people are good You won't be disappointed.

Sipho's is a great little restaurant. I'm not super familiar with Jamaican cuisine, but everything I've tried here is top notch. It's very comforting food, yet also interesting in terms of spices and ingredients. The staff are friendly and the food comes pretty quickly. My only gripe would be the bones you have to pick out of the stewed meats, but that is pretty inconsequential when all is said and done. Definitely would recommend!

I have known this place was here for a long time and have always said I'll try it later. What a mistake. The food here was great, I got the Jerk Chicken and it was wonderful! My wife got the Curried Chicken and said it was great as well. The Ginger Lemonade was also great. The atmosphere was laid back and my wife commented it that it felt like we were on a mini vacation(we were seated outside under the palms). The server was the friendliest and sweetest server I have had at a restaurant in a long time, stopping to talk with us and chatting with my wife. We will definately be eating here again soon.

Sipho's was off the beaten path, but was a very friendly restaurant with much more seating available than initially evident from the outside. The food was delicious with many vegetarian options, and the staff were friendly. The food was all very freshly made.

The Jerk Chicken is amazing and authentic! I hadn't had real Jamaican food in years since I moved away from my best friend and Siphos brought back a little piece of my past of some of the best memories you can ask for. Recommend dine-in or takeout. With Siphos you can't go wrong, Ya Mon!! PS: My husband had the Salmon sandwich and to this days he continues to dream about it!

This place is very welcoming the people are genuine, I was very impressed with the island vibe of the place and the authenticity of the food. I will definitely be back when in town.

Never seen such a light jerk sauce! Def wish it was spicier. Salmon sandwich wasn't for me, but everything else was very good and flavorful! Not saying sandwich was bad it just wasn't what I was expecting! Def had great flavor. Would definitely recommend! Oxtails, goat curry and chicken stew! 10 out of 10! Owner and service 10 out of 10! I forgot the jerk chicken 20 out of 10 seasoned to the bone! What a gem! Great find in chico! Will def visit anytime I make it that way!

I ordered the jerk chicken sandwhich with fries and plaintain with ginger lemon drink and it was absolutely AMAZING!!! The sandwhich had so much flavor!!! The atmosphere of the restaurant made me feel super comfortable and at home. They were super nice, friendly, and welcoming to me. What a great experience and will definitely be back again soon!
