This is my first time at El Pollo loco and the service was great and the cashier was very friendly love the service ♥️♥️♥️

I love the different selections. It changes up and makes ne want to try new things there. Food is great

I love this pollo loco. The staff us always very friendly and attentive. Its pretty clean and uts in a food location. I love the tostada salad and the $5 combos especially the Mexican Ceasar bowl. Can't go wrong with the unsweetened Mango iced tea!

Very good food and an excellent value! A much healthier selection and I always know my meal will be great. An easy choice with so.many fast food places.

Living in New York City for the last 20+ years, I'd forgotten how much I love love love El Pollo Loco--in fact, it, specifically, of all things, the bean and cheese burritos, got me through grad school in Alhambra in the early 1990's---Thanks amok 🤙!!!

I always have a good experience at El Pollo Loco, chicken is done just right and Teresita is always helpful. The side orders are delicious not to mention the hot sauces. Too bad they did away with the black beans.

Really hard workers. They always try their best to get orders out on time and serve the food fresh/as-ordered. I feel for them because during rush hours (especially with the advent of online ordering), they seem understaffed. But, they hustle regardless.

I come to eat at this place quite often. I am supposed to give this place 5 stars due to the excellent chicken they make and staffs good attitude. I subtracted one star is because sometimes they serve the food very slow. I think this is something to do with the SOP of the food they prepare?

Everyone here has been nice since I started going a few yrs ago as I work close by.. but has the portion of chicken reduced on tostada salad or pollo bowls? I know times are rough all around but still a good choice to order food from ☺️

This el pollo loco always seems to have a super long drive thru line. I usually go inside and it's not too crowded. Staff is always polite and my order is always correct. I've been to other locations and sometimes the food doesn't taste quite right. That is not the case here. Always tastes exactly as it should. I have been eating at el pollo loco for more than 30 years. So, I'm pretty much an expert. I would give 5 stars, but I seem to never receive the extra salsa I always request (drive thru only) without having to ask multiple times.

Subpar experience with this location. Ordered a family meal, and they didn't give us anything except a small bag of lemon. No salsa, no napkins, nada. Plus the chicken is dry. My family is disappointed. I will go to a different location next time.

For some reason curbside wasn't available and if you placed an online order the dining room was locked and you had to call the restaurant to get in. If this is for safety concerns its understandable. Food was good as always.

Very slow. This location also charges extra for Cilantro dressing. If you are ordering a salad you will get 1 free. Otherwise, you will be charged extra. This is the only location I have been to that they are not free.

El Pollo Loco is pretty consistent from place to place. That's a good thing. I remember when you could eat here and other fast food places for 5-6 bucks. Almost $9 for a 2 piece dark meat combo.

I did contact the management via the form immediately after leaving but no answer from anyone yet. — Update 5/4/19: They can add extremely rude workers to the extremely slow drive thru. The lady with the pink hair was rude and condescending when SHE was incorrect about my order! Slammed the window shut on us when I attempted to show her she was incorrect, as my order was noted correctly on my receipt and missing an item! Wow. -- Drive thru is SO SLOW. Seriously, 30 mins stuck in the drive thru is VERY common. The tables are setup in an awkward arrangement inside so it is hard to move around. The food is fine, it's El Pollo Loco standard.

I give 3 only because the food is good. I just wasted 30 minutes in the drive thru get to order my food only to get told they HAVE NO CHICKEN!! This was 8:30 still had time open. I was told that I would need to wait another 35 to 40 minutes for chicken. When I asked to speak to the manager everyone at the window proceeded to laugh at my expense. Never have I been treated so rudely by anyone. I decided to drive down to the Pomona location told them what happened and they took care of me. The apologized for the Chino Hills location. I whole heartedly recommend the location on Rio Rancho Rd next to Winco.

I was better off waiting in line, I would of got my salsa and not had to go inside and wait behind 3 ppl to clear the salsa bar. Make a clear area for online pick up, these people have already paid for their food. Instead people walk past you and don't bother to ask if anyone is picking up a online order. They're cutting down everything. Less tortillas and less chicken. Pretty good still but get less. CEO NEEDS TO MAKE MORE.

The bathrooms are not kept up at all. Nasty. The restaurant floor was not clean at all. If I was the owner, I would make it priority to keep the place looking to the minimum standards that el pollo loco expects. This has to be the worst location I've been to. Clean it up people! !

I went to get some food and it was closed even Taco Bell next door only drive thru was open so I left and went somewhere else and I heard that a lady had a roach in her food at pollo loco so they closed and were fumigating but it doesn't make since why are they still selling food out the window, gross

I came in with my wife and the valentines day coupon on my phone which came to me via the Internet ( photo of the coupon) the girl looks at the coupon and tells me I already used and could not use again ( I've never been to pollo loco) that's why we came to try! Anyway we canceled the order and went to Papachino's and had a good lunch! Thank you whoever you were on the register at 11:45 on Friday 2/16. I will say that the chicken looked good but if you do not honor your coupon who needs you!

There’s a long black hair in my salad!!! Gross! It was an $8 salad entitled “Double Chicken Avocado” - 6 small cubes of chicken?? I’d hate to see what the not-double looks like! Less than 1/2 an over ripe avocado and hardly any corn. It is in the trash and I’ll never go there again.

Service at the drive thru was awful I had asked for some green spicy guacamole and they gave me 2 I asked can I have a couple more and he gave me one only one a couple is 2 or more but no the server was a young guy glasses and messy bushy hair dark hair so another guy came to the window I told him what happened he said not a problem very polite even put my guacamole in a plastic baggie I offered to pay more for the sauce he said no that's fine then some really old lil lady worker came to the window slammed the window shut and turned the helpful guy by the shoulder and I couldn't hear if she was scolding him I felt really bad I hope this gets to management really awful experience

Normally this location in Chino has excellent service but tonight the order box rep was rude, disrespectful and acted irritated because I was asking questions. I almost just drove away due to poor customer service. I expect better.

I don’t ever do reviews, however this is my third bad experience with this store. The Supervisor was disrespectful! Although, I may have been petty about the Cilantro dressing but twice I was short on a little wetness on my salad. After my previous trip when I requested an extra dressing along with other condiments I was never advised of the extra charge of only .40 cent.? It wasn’t the .40 cent but it was the POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. And my Daughter wants me to include that The Supervisor threw “my little coupon” down.

I don't like giving businesses ones but this place hit as low as they could have. 1st the staff here are all grown adults that should be better. I placed my order and after a longer then normal I didn't receive my whole order, not the worst thing but how they handled was inferiorating. I was missing one piece of my order and after asking for help two front staff and one cook had what I can describe as a weird exchange in Spanish. I don't speak Spanish but I could make out one person saying that's what I ordered as the dish I returned was being passed around. I gave them my receipt, they proceeded to cut a 3rd piece of chicken to complete my order then passed it back to me. When I got to my table and looked at my food the chicken thighs were cut in half yielding less than half of the meat available on a thigh mostly bone... it looked like a pigeon. The food was ok in taste but the experience ruined my luch. Customer service can make or break a business, I won't be back to this location. My expectations are set by the price at this point at all service businesses and this business dropped the ball.

El Pollo Loco, in Chino Hills, on Chino Hills Parkway is the worst of the worst. I ordered the 12 piece family meal and the chicken was very dried, it tasted like it was re-heated a few times, I requested utensils and non were included, they charge 50cents per extra creamy cilantro and it's half way empty. I will definitely NOT be going back, ever.

I have been before but today a terrible service experience. First, a clerk was confrontative about my two meal promotion cupon, only because I asked if the drinks were included. Second, poor quality of food, extremely small leg and wing, I received a broken half tortilla that I even had to request, they forgot to give ours. Third, when I try to talk to a supervisor, a clerk told me as excuse that the store is receiving very small chicken. Everything unacceptable because a coupon is not a charity is a promotion to clients.Yo pay with a small discount. In addition, quality standards of a franchise oblige the store to comply with minimum quality of food that us clients pay for.

Just now left the drive thru and was not happy. To the lady at the window I won't say her name because I wouldn't want to embarrass her by saying it here. But if you don't like your job then leave it and don't SNAP at someone/people who are paying/buying food to pay for your Salary. The food is great but not that staff member.

Representatives wouldn’t come to the door explaining why they blocked off the drive through and closed at 9:30 when both online and their window said closed at the 10:00. No manager on site. Absolutely terrible service. I ordered chicken and black bean bowl and a taco. My bowl was ready after 5 minutes but it took them another 13 minutes to make a damn taco. I know bcuz I timed then and when they gave me my food the taco was hot but the bowl was cold by now and they looked to my face about how long ago it was made. I stood there and watched the whole time. Simply ridiculous. Also, walk in guests are secondary to drive thru. And only one cashier but they have at least 10 employees here. And the one on the register is new and by herself

Oh my God El Pollo loco raise the price of their food and then made their entrees smaller my classic chicken tostada 10 little pieces of chicken the shell is small barely holds the salad$10.99 wow I'll save my money next time.

Owner of this location #210 needs to be cognizant of whom they hire. Continuously the drive thru girls (never the males) are extremely rude. On this particular night the larger female, with glasses, huffs and puffs as if she’s inconvenienced. At the window to pay for what was available because this location tends to not have items, this particular night two things. She gave the total, reached for my money and turned around back to me. At which time I said screw it. So, now that it’s come to the time to finally review this location. Multiple visits, items not available, missing items from order. The 20-30min wait isn’t worth the experience. Seek alternative choices or if you have to have EPL, then grab at another location.

Tried to scan my receipt for my rewards said it was looking for it and is taking longer then expected. Told manager. They said call Corp. I did and was forwarded to someone who said they would call me back.. still waiting for that call.. and I am probably out of my reward points now.. corp. Needs people who care about customers and not just putting them on the side

They don't call you when your order is ready so it's cold. There are no napkins to wipe your hands with. They charge extra for Cilantro Dressing. No dollar menu anymore. I won't eat here anymore.

The chicken was very dry and tasted like it had been left out for a long time. Overall for 28 dollars for the family feast I feel like it was a lot of mediocre food for not such a good price. I usually like el pollo loco but this time around just wasn't good. I'll give it another try in the future.

Everytime I order here the chicken is dry they are always busy. Today I decided to come in just to chill for a minute the food took forever and a year. When I finally did get my food they gave me the smallest ranch so I asked for another and the guy said I couldn’t get one and it was 75 cents, he argued with me and was being condescending and then gave a ranch to someone else who ask right next to me. Smh this place is terrible.

Never come to this place after 7pm on a weekend. I live in Chino Hills and have attempted to come to this El Pollo Loco on several occasion to buy dinner for my family and on EVERY occasion but one have they told me they ran out of Legs and Thighs and can ONLY sell me a Legs, thighs, and Breast combo meal for a higher price.....? Wait, they just said they ran out of legs and thighs Only combos and all they can sell is combos that have breast included for a HIGHER PRICE. So whats happening is this franchise is finding itself during the later hours of the day with an over dose of Breast they can not get rid of are on the verge of losing money if they can't sell them. So they pass on this inability to sell more breast to their costumers by MAKING THEM BUY a Combo w/ Breast included at a HIGHER PRICE. Naturally I was frustrated with this common situation and complained. The store manager Jazmine seemed uninterested in my complaint and requested that I Do NOT Come back to this store if I was unwilling to sympathize with their situation. When questioned about her ability to refuse service to a loyal customer she proceeded to lie by saying I gave her the finger while in the drive thru (Security cameras will prove this to be false) and that I held up her drive thru line while I was trying to voice my concern about their service (there was NO ONE in line / sales receipts will prove that), and that I was arguing with her using foul language (Yes I was upset and being argumentative, but NOT using foul language). She thought she could just get her last word in at the drive thru window and say I'm no longer welcome and then close the window on me, but she couldn't run when I parked and walked inside the restaurant to confront her. This store's ownership and the kids managing it are horrible. I'll be contacting the corporate offices to inform them of this less than adequate franchise work ethic.

Charged for, but not placed on my salad, additional avocado slices. Everything in my salad was old! lettuce that wasn’t wilted was cut from the stem of the head of lettuce, making it virtually uneditable. The BRC burritos I ordered Buy one get one free, I was charged $3.99 each. Instead of a refund for the $8.99 I was charged for the corn, I got a note that said “ sorry, we run out of corn. Next time I give to you”. I doubt seriously there will be a next time!

Today is Sunday. I ordered a family meal around 11am, and the meat is not fresh and dry; so disappointed. I guess better don’t order on Sundays when they just open.

Today is Sunday. I ordered a family meal around 11am, and the meat is not fresh and dry; so disappointed. I guess better don’t order on Sundays when they just open.

Charged for, but not placed on my salad, additional avocado slices. Everything in my salad was old! lettuce that wasn’t wilted was cut from the stem of the head of lettuce, making it virtually uneditable. The BRC burritos I ordered Buy one get one free, I was charged $3.99 each. Instead of a refund for the $8.99 I was charged for the corn, I got a note that said “ sorry, we run out of corn. Next time I give to you”. I doubt seriously there will be a next time!
