We came here to support our friend with her school fundraiser, she said El Pollo grill would donate a % to them. I must say we were pleasantly surprised, this place is great. They have family meal packages to go or eat there. We order the chicken with all the fixings for 4. It is delicious 😋 Everyone very friendly. Definitely added to our list of faves!

The food was so amazing. I have never tasted Carne asada, so moist and soft with every bite. The fries was heavenly melting in your mouth. Food was amazing. I gave service a 2 star because the person at the cashier was not as genuine in helping a customer who has never been at the location. But everything else was amazing. If you haven't gone to this location, then please do so. I got the titan burrito.

Excellent food. Big portions and high quality. Chicken is constantly being grilled right in front of the window inside the restaurant. I have had their tacos (big) and their carne asada fries and both were excellent. I also like their grilled chicken meals that come with rice, beans, and tortillas.

First time here and the whole experience was awesome. They have very good service, even though they were busy they got my order out quick and the wait wasn't long. The staff is always smiling and very helpful. Their menu is huge, there is so much different plates and items to choose from. My wife and I eat the Pollo asado and carne asada fries, the plate had guacamole, cheese, sour cream, a lot of meat and a lot of fries. The plates were so big that we end up taking a to go plate for today's lunch. Their salsas are delicious, if you want some spice in your life they have it, they are not only got the salsas also have a lot of flavor. The place is really clean, they have vegetarian plates, in case you're on a protein diet they have all the protein you can eat. They also have desserts the Churros are to die for, nice and warm, sugary and with just the right amount of cinnamon. The place was clean, the service was nice and the food was delicious! They do have handicap area, plates for kids, you can eat in or to go. You can call ahead and they will have the food ready for you. They have a nice selection of drinks as well as beer and tortillas. They have a small refrigerated unit with tortillas ti buy and go as well as Mexican drinks and cervezas.

The Best Grilled Chicken this side of the Border! For Sure all food is very Good,I however prefer the chicken slowly grilled,juicy, it comes with side of rice,beans (refried beans for me thank you) it cost a bit more but is worth it,corn tortillas,flour or you can have half corn half flour,salsa bar ,come hungry you'll like it

I ordered a California burrito. It was really really good. One of the best. Great taste. The meat was juicy and perfectly cooked. The ingredients were fresh and complicated the burrito perfectly. Salsas were great. Definitely reccomend.

Food is real good there but, once in a while it’ll be not that good. 1 out of 7 times it’ll be not great. But, don’t let this stop you from getting your personal experience at this place. I do recommend this place. I do not recommend ordering online. This is the 3rd time I wait for my food and its just sitting there for additional time because they forgot I was waiting for my order. The food is good when the food isn't sitting there for a long time. I suggest to order to eat there or order at the shop to go to prevent from your food getting cold or eating soft roll tacos.

I arrived in San Diego and wanted a quick convenient meal at a family owned Mexican style restaurant. This place was recommended to me by the individual whose AirBnB I was staying at. The service was really good and the place had a lot of customers. It could have used a bit of a cleaning as I had to wipe up my table a bit. That aside, the food was absolutely delicious. I got one of the flame broiled chicken specials which included: 2 pieces of flame broiled chicken, rice, charro beans and choice of tortillas. Plenty of food for a reasonable price.

I strongly recommend choosing a different location for good Mexican food, as there are many better options within a 20-minute drive, including Chipotle, Mike's Red Tacos, and Ed Fernandez. I ordered a Cali burrito and two mulitas. The mulitas were the only redeeming aspect, keeping this from being a one-star disaster in terms of food quality, raising the review to two stars. The mulitas are large, so there’s no need to order extra food; I made that mistake by ordering the burrito. You will need to season your food yourself. You’d think the chefs would do this, but I guess not. Season the mulitas with lime, salt, and salsa for an average meal. Anything else on the menu will be disgusting. Save your money and your palate—do not eat here.

This place was my go-to for grilled chicken for the family, however lately the salsas have been really watery. I'm not sure if it's for cost savings or what, but it kind of ruins the whole experience.

Came in for the 1st time on a co workers recommendation to try the "619 Mysterio Burrito". The Burrito had plenty of shrimp but lacked Carne Asada and Pollo Asado. It seemed more like an overpriced shrimp burrito at $17.00. The burrito was on the bland side but not horrible. Friendly staff and clean environment. I give this a 2 star review due to the menu being overpriced overall. There are plenty of other Taco Shops that have better offerings for a cheaper prices in town. I wont be back anytime soon.
