For our group of 6 people who ordered all different items it was all excellent. The steak for all was tender and cooked to order correctly. My Dad's favorite place which convinced us out of towners. Our waitress was patient and great.

My family, for the first time ever, ordered a take-out Thanksgiving dinner. I cannot fully express how happy I was with the food, the service and the price. It was hot and delicious, plus there was plenty of it for the six of us. Everything was included, even the pie! This feast will be a new tradition for my family; instead of cooking all day, I got to relax too as part of the "fellowship of family". I recommend this restaurant enthusiastically and would like to thank Black Angus for offering this option at a very good price.

I visited on Thanksgiving night. I got the last 6:30 reservation and requested a booth. They had a 3 course special menu for Thanksgiving. It consisted of soup or salad, for soup they offered potato or steak. I had the baked potato soup, it had all the fixins. For the main course they served a complete turkey dinner, with both white and dark meat. The turkey was tender and moist. It also had all the fixins, sour dough stuffing, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, broccoli, gravy and cranberry sauce. Everything was delicious, the cranberry sauce was made from scratch. I didn't care for the stuffing as it had absorbed too butter when they baked the cubes. For dessert the dinner came with pumpkin pie. It was delicious, almost creamy. The atmosphere was that of a steakhouse. A little noisy and somewhat dated. But, since they put me in a large booth just for myself, it softened the noise. I only heard the waitstaff chit chat. The service was prompt, but I didn't feel rushed. The waitress was nice and presentable. Even though the restaurant was full and she was busy, she didn't seem stressed, but of course didn't have time to chit chat. The whole dinner not including wine and cocktail was only $30. A bargain for what I got. I was that full and content when I left I looked at the regular menu and the dinner prices ranged from around $25-$50. Being Black Angus, the menu highlighted the steaks including ribeye, filet mignon, prime rib, etc. I did make a mental note for next time, they have osso bucco, one of my favorites. I recommend Black Angus highly as a steakhouse. For the price and quality of the food, I'll definitely return. The bar had 3 large big screens so it's a great place to have a snack and a beer and watch the game. If you go to the bar for a drink, listen carefully for your name, they don't page in the bar.

This was my first time in this chain. So, I bought a Groupon to save and try a new experience. Well, at first, the staff and management were confused about my Groupon. Well, they honored my Groupon with little nonsense. They replaced our initial server and replaced them with someone with a great service, so that was ok. The sum, sum is the food was excellent and the customer service from the staff and management was exceptional. I will return here and I don't need Groupon. They are worth every penny. This place is worth every penny.

Great night out with the family! Jen and Jackson were so helpful and awesome. We are in town from Dallas and took my son and family out for dinner on his birthday and they made us feel welcome. The food was high quality. The value was perfect. Desert was amazing. Just a great experience overall. Highly recommended.

I brought my mom here today for her birthday. We were greeted on arrival and seated immediately. The drink order was taken and our drinks came a few minutes later...along with warm bread and butter which were amazing. We ordered the campfire feast for 2. It is 69.00 normally, however I bought a groupon and paid 43.00. We started with the hot artichoke dip. It was warm creamy and absolutely delicious. The tortilla chips are made fresh and were also good. My mom ordered filet mignon and I ordered the New York strip. It was cooked perfectly. So juicy and delicious. The flavor though...omg The asparagus was wonderful and baked potato...mmmmm We shared creme brulee...just delicious... I am definitely coming back. They have specials all the time...happy hour prices...early dinner prices. Their food is so good...I definitely recommend eating here.

The Real Deal is Black Angus Steakhouse which delivers on taste and old time charm! First let’s kick it off with the service, food and service was solid, no issues, good waiter. The atmosphere is like an old western saloon, the building is older so the restroom you really notice it but overall I like the old fashion look might need a little update in bathrooms. Now onto the last and most important part The FooD, we had the Tomahawk Steak dinner fed three of us it came with app, 4 sides, the Tomahawk steak and a dessert for $129, I was impressed with the steak solid 8/10 a little more seasoning and cook asked for was medium received medium well. I was happy with the steak for this type of restaurant. The app was a sampler which was well done with the chicken strips being the most impressive 8/10. The sides were Mac n Cheese, Asparagus, Broccoli and Au Gratin Potatoes which were all delicious 9/10. The dessert we had three of them everyone enjoyed at the table especially the cookie with ice cream 9/10. Overall, it has been a long time since I’ve been to Black Angus but I was really impressed of what came out on the plates from flavor to portions. I will be back!

Man, the steak is REALLY good. Why have I been sleeping on this place!? The sirloin and the New York Strip are tender, and the fat is perfectly charred. Best sirloin I've ever had! I enjoyed the molasses bread and butter. The green beans and steak toppers (garlic butter, onions, and mushrooms) are perfection. The mac & cheese is good, but it definitely lacked seasoning and should have been a bigger portion. The cocktails are also really good. The Strawberry Lemon Drop honestly didn't taste like it had any alcohol. That and the Pomegranate Martini are delicious. I sent the Montana Mai Tai back because it was way too strong, but once they remade it, it tasted great. Overall, I really liked the place. The service is good and the atmosphere/mood is nice. I've been here twice within one week, and I will definitely be coming back next week.

My experience was not the most positive. I had the 16 oz prime rib with Cesar salad and loaded baked potato. The server Rudy D brought my main course almost immediately after he brought the salad. Was not impressed. The loaded baked potato was very dry I asked for some sour cream some time later he asked if I was ok I said again I would like some sour cream some time later he delivered it. As I was waiting for my check he brought The order at the table next to me the rejected it saying the order was wrong. Except for the dry potato everything else was ok. Disappointed.

I really love something about this place. Nostalgia. It has been here for decades. The value is excellent. A rare place to get a good steak and some sides for hardly any money at all. They constantly have specials. Sign up for their emails. Crisp, packed Wedge Salad. It's a fun, dimly lit, classic restaurant and bar. If you see the Lobster Mac and cheese, get it!

Came in today for the campfire meal deal for two. It cost around $50 and honestly, I was quite impressed with the quality of the food. Our server Marissa was really kind and attentive! Her attitude was also very great. We started off with the loaded potato skins as the appetizers and they were super crunchy on the outside😋. I ordered the steak with rice pilaf and the steak soup, paired it with a strawberry lemonade. Everything was really good. I do wish the steak soup was more like a soup though, it was more of a chili consistency. We tried some crème brûlée for dessert it was truly amazing! A very nice serving for two people and it definitely is something that will satisfy your sweet tooth. Overall, I’d give the restaurant 4 🌟. Definitely will be back to try more things on the menu!

I went here for 2026 birthday dinner 🍽 with a very wonderful person. It was a new experience for both us seeing how neither of us had been to black Angus in over 12 years or more. The vibe has changed we noticed all the flat screen televisions o the walls. I suppose they are more open to having patrons watch sports while dining and they weren't at the bar area which was a little odd to me. My food was good and he enjoyed his steak and potatoes. I had the new crab cakes entree & we shated a couple appetizers. The server messed up on the crab cake order which came with 3 but, she put in an appetizer which has only 2 crab cakes. She fixed the error in the end. The food was decent. It was a little quiet since we went midweek. It was a melow view. Our server kept offering items &and disappearing to the point where we had to ask others if they could go get her. That's not good.. Overall the experience was decent. It wasn't great and it wasn't bad. We were surprised to see an older crowd hanging out on a Wednesday after 9:30pm but we thought it was kind of cute. There are not many Black Angus remaining, hence this was a significant opportunity for us. Unfortunately, we now understand the reason for their scarcity. Upon approaching the front entrance, one observes the landscape requiring improvement, coupled with an abundance of waste situated between the rocks. Upon entering, the first visual impression is a seating area that requires replacement, with noticeable signs of wear and tear. The service was commendable, yet the culinary offerings fell short. The steaks were served raw, contrary to the medium request, and the crab cakes exhibited an unusual taste. Other dishes were satisfactory. Despite the potential, the restaurant appears to be on a slow decline.

Came here for our anniversary dinner and we won't be back. Thankfully we used a groupon but still ended up paying $90 for food we didnt eat. The shrimp cocktail and the bread was good but everything else was extremely disappointing. The baked potato soup had a greenish tint to it and didnt taste right. The prime rib I ordered was 60% fat, I brought it to our waiters attention he knocked off $10 from our bill. The service was great but the restaurant is falling apart.

I recently dined at Black Angus in Citrus Heights. The service was excellent, and our waitress was very attentive, making our meal enjoyable. The food was also great. However, the restrooms were in dire need of an update and remodel. They looked like something from the 1980s, and the overall cleanliness was unacceptable. It was so off-putting that it completely ruined my appetite. While the food and service were commendable, the state of the restrooms needs urgent attention.

The last time we dined at this Black Angus location was 3 years ago. As far as the lobby and dining room furniture, nothing has changed. The furniture is old and worn. Not an inviting atmosphere. Our service was great although it appeared that our server was responsible for all of the tables (approximately 7-8) plus she was the bartender. She was very pleasant and did a great job getting to everyone efficiently. These days it is rare to see someone tasked with that much responsibility, to have such a great attitude and to perform so well! The food was good, not great. Bread was cold and dry, salad was mediocre, potato skins were cold, shrimp side with the steak was so-so. Steak was good, and cooked the way we requested. We probably won’t be returning to this particular Black Angus restaurant.

All good things must come to an end. My wife said to me let’s get a steak and I said yeah let’s go to cattlemen‘s. She said no let’s go to Black Angus. It’s always good. After sitting at one of the tables, In the bar. After A few minutes, we ordered our food. It was told to bring us some bread out well about 20 minutes later I asked one of the passing girls could we get some bread? We got bread all right old dry bread a few minutes later appetizer came out and then the Wait. After about an hour, I begin to notice that several people that had come in after us were already finished eating. I heard the bartender ask one of the girls check on this order for me about 10 minutes later she Came back to tell the bartender it’s not back there. I overheard this and I went to find the manager. I was greeted by Jaime and I asked him for an explanation. To why we have been there over an hour and haven’t got our food and number two. Why are they out of bread? Jaime told me that they ran out of bread on to go orders. Which does it make sense to me? Isn’t this a dine in restaurant then an hour and 24 minutes later Jaime comes out with our steaks, but not the steaks we ordered. I told him that it’s not a filet mignon that is the wrong cut of steak. He proceeded to tell me that they were filet mignon. Being a restaurant and bar owner of myself, it was an insult to my intelligence. Anyways, to make a long story longer, we walked out and we will not be returning ever.
