🌮🔥 Taco Exxpress is my new go-to spot in Fair Oaks! 🔥🌮 I’m so glad they serve breakfast all day — my egg & cheese with potatoes breakfast burrito was absolutely delicious! 🥚🧀🥔🌯 The flavors were spot on, and their sauces took it to the next level. 🌶️ The hot sauce gave it a perfect kick 🌶️🔥, while the mild one was smooth and soothing 😌. A huge shoutout to Kayla, our amazing waitress 🙌💫 — she explained all the sauces in detail and made the whole experience even better. It’s always refreshing to see a team of happy employees working together, and Taco Exxpress definitely has those good vibes all around! 🌮😁💃 The place was super clean, the service was quick, and the prices are very reasonable 💵👍. Wow!! Stumbled on this place, hangry after a farmers market trip. Crunchy Chicken taco and quesabirrila combo pictures. Tons of flavor, portions, help yourself chip and salsa bar. The place is spotless and they checked back on us even though you don’t expect that in a fast casual take out place! WE WILL BE BACK.

I’ve been here twice now on Taco Tuesday. Their $1 crunchy tacos are really good. My wife ordered the elote burrito and it was also really good. She said it was her favorite burrito she’s ever eaten. The only other item I have tried so far is the carne asasa street taco which was also really good. My one tiny complaint is that this place tends to be busy on Tuesday nights. It’ll take anywhere from 12-20 minutes for your food to arrive. They do have a drive-thru, but it moves pretty slowly and is crowded on Tuesday nights. I will definitely come back again though and am already deciding what I want to order next.

These are the best drive thru mexican chains there are. There food quality standard is unmatched by any of the others and generally I've had good customer service interactions here and we'll. Highly recommend.

Their carne asada and birria are free of gristle and deliciously seasoned every time. My mother asked to see the nachos I ordered on boxing day, and even she couldn't keep her hands out of my nachos! I'd post a pic, but they went down so good they aren't around anymore. Five stars

Delicious food, fast friendly well-trained service, comfortable chairs. Shout out to the staff especially who clean when it's quiet, and go the extra mile (I won't give details- it's not fair to expect they can do this or that every time). I go here like 3x a week. I'm so grateful they opened this location with these wonderful people!

If you like to chew this is the place for you.greasy tacos, hard and chewy meat, dripping in grease. The food is comparable to grade school or a high school cafeteria lunch.Taco Tuesday is cool. You get one of your shelf bought taco shells stuffed with meat,lettuce and cheese.Mine was missing the cheese and most of the lettuce.if you’re lucky it’s still crunchy when you eat it.but hurry they where $1 but now $1.50 over night.still a good price,in this case you genuinely get less than you pay for. Yesterday’s leftovers.still worth $1.50 if your gut can handle it.Good luck! In all honesty don’t eat here. Ya, sucks.In all honesty TheTacos tasted fine but made me sick. Happy Eating!

I asked her if they make the chorizo,she said no. So I told her how would you know if they add to much water to the mix.

Literally paid 19$ for barely any meat in this tacos. This is pretty bad. For 19$ this is pretty atrocious to think your serving this food with barely anything on the taco

Would have given zero stars if it was an option. Food was AWFULLLL. Firstly,I tried calling to ask to substitute verde sauce for red sauce. I called 4 times before they answered, then hung up on me the second I spoke. Called back again, no answer. The food showed up ICE COLD when I only live FOUR MINUTES from the restaurant. Cheese wasnt even melted. The pico was wilted and old and there was a few pieces of cheese in it, PLUS i picked a chip out of the bag and there was DRIED UP SALSA ON IT. I didn't even feel SAFE eating it because who KNOWS how long that food has been sitting out of temperature and all the cross contamination! They're going to give someone food poisoning or worse! The photos online looked so good and I spent over 50 bucks and am SOOO dissappointed. Awful customer service, awful pricing, awful food. Disgusting.

What takes so long to make a taco?I was in the drive thru 20 twenty minutes and nobody was there but me. Then the girl at the window didn't even look at me or address me for about five minutes. She was standing there, talking to other workers, and my food was sitting there the whole time done. She asked me what kind of sauce I wanted and I said green. I get home and there's red sauce in the bag. Geez... I can understand if they were busy, but again there was nobody there but me. POOR SERVICE.

Way overpriced. Didn’t realize this was a fast food chain. Had superior authentic options closer to me. The $20 super burrito was cold and lacked meat. $30 for a burrito and 2 tacos is a joke. Nothing special at all, only positive I can think of is the fact they are open late. But again, I had much better options open late near me. I will never be back, don’t see this place lasting very long considering their prices. I expected so much more from them considering their website pictures and menu. Don’t get fooled like I did and order elsewhere.

This place to start is a little chain, I've seen these location around Sacramento, but tonight my family and I stopped in for a bite. We were both my husband and I craving tacos. But did not want to drive out to the south area to get the real stuff. Because of traffic in the rain. The ambience is just no different than walking into a Carl's Jr.'s or an Adaberturos Upon arriving this place is just another fast food Mexican joint. It's nothing fancy nothing exotic. We both ordered the quesobirria plate , came with rice and beans and a Serrano and two limes that was pretty good. It was all right a little salty but all right. They messed up on my son's taco order as you can see from the pictures. They just threw it on a paper plate with meat and cheese, and the presentation was a little sloppy, and in my opinion, kind of gross looking. The pastor taco was extremely salty. I wasn't even able to eat it. It taste more like chorizo my husband said. Truly disappointing definitely better options of Mexican food around the area. Definitely will be our first and last time. I highly suggest possibly shopping around and going further south into the south area of Sacramento for decent Mexican food. This place is definitely no Bueno. And their prices for the type of food that you’re getting is way too expensive I will say that. It is not worth the price.

I ordered in the drive thru which was fine, I ordered carne asada fries and two tacos. I ate 1/4 of the fries and was immediately ill with in minutes, literal food poisoning. I threw everything away. I thought the meat looked and tasted weird and should’ve trusted my instincts. What a waste of money!
