Great prices, great food! The only draw back is the salsa is inconsistent. One week or was great, the next it was too thick and tasted differently. Wish it was consistent week to week. However, I will continue to eat there! I love getting their breakfast burritos.

Yellow jacket is good but wish it were more filled. The sopes are great and they’re pretty big. The drive through is a bit hectic. They really need a better way to suit so many customers. Would be good if they somehow opened up to the plaza next door.

Tacos were good and the tortillas were very soft and had flavor. If y'all are from out of town and need something different to eat definitely go here cause the Carne Guisada is bomb! I will definitely be going back. Prices are good and worth the money. The menu has a lot of good choices so swing thru and give them a try

**Updated** 10/25/2024. I called in today for a pick up. I placed my order for a burrito and they offered to redo my last order. Went to pick up my order, the wait was not too long. Service was not too bad today, hopefully they can keep on getting better. What I noticed today was the drive thru line was really long, hopefully that can be worked on so customera can be in and out with their orders. ****** I went and delete my old review and stars ⭐. I've always been a fan of Montes, but ever since the renovation. It has not been the same. Burritos 🌯 are not the same size and quality wise. Not to mention the price $$ went up, which I figured was going to happen. My last visit was not so great I usually call my order in, which they will say that will be about 15 mins. Gave them 20 mins got there and still had to wait another 30 mins. The line there was crazy long and when I finally got my order and rushed back to the office. The burrito which I ordered the potatoes 🥔 was still raw and barley any steak 🥩 in it. SMH like I said a lot has changed with them, but I think they need to step it up. For the price of everything your time and quality need to meet the standards for your customers/service.

The burritos are good in flavor, but my biggest complaint is that they go “light” on the filling. For the price, these things should be loaded. Even the large burritos are light and more tortilla than filling. They do have homemade corn tortillas but it’s thick, like a tamale. And with the light filling, you eat more tortilla than food (again).

Breakfast burritos are good a little small but good. Their green sauce is very good and the people are friendly. This is drive thru only with a small window on the front were you can order as well. If you're in a hurry this is not the place to go it takes around 10 or more minutes when they are busy.

Wanted to try a breakfast quesadilla so saw one on the menu for $6.75. Asked to have it made with cheese, eggs, bacon, and potatoes. They didn’t let me know that there was any up charge for this but when they gave me the total it was almost $11 rather than the $6.75 on the menu. She said that there was an extra charge for bacon, but this seemed a little ridiculous. The quesadilla was OK, but extremelyyyy underseasoned. All of the ingredients were there (Although it was a small amount of bacon), But they were all extremely bland and didn’t even have any salt and pepper. Luckily, I had asked for picante, so I just tried to drown out some of the food in this sauce. Without the picante sauce, I would eat more than a few bites Or just gone home to finish seasoning it and warming it up again on my own I’m normally not a picky eater, but this was just not good and not what I expected at all. Also, the prices need to be updated to reflect this or at least customers warned about the price differences.

Here’s the thing about this place. The food is absolutely delicious. The prices are fair, but what turns me and most people I’ve spoken to away so far is the ridiculous line wait and horrible drive thru. If you wanted to change your mind about an order because of the ridiculous wait time you can’t leave. Once you’re in that line. You’re stuck in the line. They have one person walking around taking orders and then when you get the the window to pay they THEN decide to tell you when they’re out of inventory instead of being told when the order was initially placed with the first guy. It is a waste of time and disappointing.

And i called in for 2 burritos still waited more then 15 min and got to pickup window rude girl there is another thing she said bye closed window at me dint give me food got mad just because i dint tell her first time food was ordered over the phone they should know the orderes over phone by time you get there. Ppl dont let this happen to yall they do what they want with clients.

All around mediocre. Honestly Jack in The Box has better burritos. And at least the hours are correct!!! Do not waste your time, The hours on Google say open Sunday. They are NOT and did not bother updating their hours.

Ordered a yellow jacket with beans, there was literally no meat in it. My wife’s tacos had no meat either.
