My favorite thing about this place is they clearly label their gluten free options. Staff was friendly and food was good. UPDATE: We ordered food for pick up last night so I wanted to add to my original review. Ordering online is extremely easy. You have the option to add notes to each portion of the order which is important for food allergies. You have the option to add some additional items to the order easily. Not only was placing the order easy, everything we ordered was in our order correctly including special requests , it was done when expected, and it was just as delicious as it is when we’ve dined. The only complaint I have and it’s minor, is that the online menu doesn’t label GF, so if you’re unsure of the safe options it could be tricky. I ordered from my iPhone, not sure if it may be different if placing the order on a pc.
They have a catering room. The other day, literally a bus load of people from Montreal, Canada came to eat here. They had a breakfast buffet. The restaurant also has just a regular eat in restaurant. It's cute set of Mexican culture. It is comfortable. I enjoy the food.
Service is always friendly and fast. The casual atmosphere makes it easy to relax and enjoy your delicious meal.
Always great food and fast service
Best Mexican food in our area! Amazing service, so friendly and efficient. Best chips, the BEST salsa, and everything on their menu is wonderful. Some of my favorites are the Charbroiled Chicken Salad, the Chicken Tortilla Soup, A La Cart Tacos, and Combo #3 (Chile Relleno, Enchilada, Rice , and Beans), the list goes on and on. We go often, and are so grateful for this wonderful restaurant.
We love coming here. Their tortillas and salsa are awesome. Never had a bad meal and always leave full. We're all a huge fans of the desserts but are usually too over stuffed!
After 4 hours of traveling from home with the family, the girl at the front desk of our hotel recommended Pancho's. We arrived about 9pm and were told the kitchen was closed. After speaking to the staff in the kitchen, Reuben was kind enough to allow us to sit and eat and drink. The food was excellent, margheritas were awesome, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend Pancho's for some really great Mexican food!! Family friendly and Covid friendly as well.
Elizabeth and the staff, rock! They are attentive and always welcome and make me feel at home. Food comes out tasting good and decently quick, well priced cold beers, and they play the traditional music from mexico that i love. good job panchos!
The food is always delicious and fresh, a personal favorite is the carne asada. Wonderful service, a hidden gem in Clifton Park.
Some of the best Mexican food I've ever eaten! The prices are a little bit up there, but I'd say it's definitely worth the money. The food is flavorful, the portions are very large, the staff is very friendly, and the venue is homey yet festive. I would 100% recommend to any fan of authentic Mexican cuisine.
Reliably good Mexican in ridiculous portions. And I don't think the prices have changed since 2005 either. Service is usually very good and your chips and salsa stay filled. I would like some more spicy options but the meats are always well cooked and seasoned and the kids meals are sizable for the price. Well worth a comparison vs the other big Mexican restaurants in the area. Notably good chicken tortilla soup. Notably good value in the Grande Special.
This is the best authentic mexican food in the region! Whenever family is in town I bring them here! I am originally from Texas and this place tastes like home. I hear they also have great margaritas but I don't drink so have never tried them. I have heard several people sing their praises!
What a great place to stop at! Our second time here in a year and what a fabulous spot. Excellent food, great drink menu with the largest margaritas north of the Hudson River! Just minutes off I-87, find the best stop along your trip to get some premium food, drinks, stretch your legs, and fun for the kids at Pancho’s in Clifton Park.
This is our family’s most favorite restaurant! Great atmosphere, wonderful staff and delicious food. Thank you, Panchos!
Love, love, LOVE this restaurant! If it's true authentic Mexican food that you're looking for, Pancho's is the place to be. Friendly staff and a wide variety of menu items. Food comes out hot and in a timely manner. We usually go with family and friends, and have never had a bad meal.
Sophia was a wonderful server for our dinner tonight. Super friendly and provided great service.
Best shrimp tacos and salsa ever!
Great food. Our server Sophia was great. Always good service.
Two weary, hungry travelers googled nearest food and found Pancho’s not far off the highway. It was a nice atmosphere, greeted by friendly staff. The restrooms were clean. The waitress was great and the food was excellent! Quick to get our food. Overall such a great meal and super glad we made the stop!
I placed an online pickup order with this amazing restaurant the other day, but like the idiot that I am, I guess I never hit “submit”. Which I didn’t know until I got there, asking to pick up my order, when they informed me of this. Well, every single one of the staff, and (I think) either the owner, or a senior manager, did everything they could to make me feel like a priority, and he (aforementioned either owner or senior staff) ended up handing me my order inside of maybe 7-8 minutes. They were so great to deal with. Friendly, courteous, accommodating…..and I haven’t even mentioned the quality of the food! I only gave them 5 stars because it doesn’t allow me to give them 6.
One of my favorite Mexican food restaurants I have ever been to. It's 100% authentic, which usually leaves me with no idea what I want. The wait staff listens then recommends something and I have yet to be disappointed. I'd recommend any of the drinks from the bar, as they are pretty standard. Always a good meal at Pancho's.
Beautiful restaurant with the most amazing food! Our server was very kind and attentive. This was our first visit. We will be back for sure.
Food comes out nice and hot and well presented. I was not disappointed at all my food was delicious
********** 10 Star rating from me. My wife and I have been going there for years and everything is consistently great! We have not found ANY other restaurant from here to Florida that comes close to their margaritas. I recently had to coordinate a last minute wedding party and was pleasantly surprised that Pancho's came to my rescue. The manager/owner arranged a beautiful custom buffet in the party section of the restaurant for a super reasonable cost. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed the variety of food, as they can provide whatever you want. This solves the problem of a few who don't care for Mexican cuisine. Ole! P.S. I read some of the other reviews and wanted to comment on one complaint about the parking. The parking is expansive and was a prime consideration for our party. Another complaint had to do with cold food. The only cold food I ever got there was the sour cream and the wonderful fried ice cream!
My husband and I had our first experience at Pancho’s Mexican Restaurant, it was a pleasant one. We were seated immediately and served a basket of warm nachos and salsa sauce. The beer came in a frosted mug with a lime. The menu is outstanding with numerous selections. We ordered the grande special and a shrimp dish, both were super delicious. We had so much food that I didn’t have room for fried ice cream. I highly recommend Pancho’s and also Peter our waiter. Give it a try, you’ll agree.
Love this place. Food is always great. Fun atmosphere and decor Good portions that are filling. The sangria is phenomenal. Best I've had outside of Spain. Sangria portions are HUGE. This is the small. The have the COVID thing down too. Good distancing, but plastic wear and bottled water for now.
I visit Poncho’s often and every time I’m there, the food, service and margaritas are excellent. If someone is looking for a good experience, I recommend them stopping in to try them out.
Waiter was the best I have had in decades. More than 12 orders for dinner and never needed to write it down. Every order was perfect and went to the right person. I enjoy and appreciate well made food and this Pancho's was excellent this day and has been in previous visits.
I stopped in for some tacos on a Monday about noon time. I sat at the bar and was greeted by the staff a guy and a girl working the front. I ordered an Irish coffee/ it was well done/ a good drink. I ordered Carne asada tacos and I received the complimentary chips and salsa/very good. The tacos came / three corn tortillas/ not homemade but good/ filled with a generous amount of Carne asada beef/ rice and beans with cheese/ also salsa Roja and cilantro onion mix. So I put some of the salsa and hot sauce and onion cilantro on the taco and with everything together it made for a good tasty bite. Throw some bean and cheese in the taco also. All in all it was a good lunch and I was happy with it. I ordered a chix taco meal to take home for the wife. The staff was friendly and professional and overall the experience was good. I think a lime wedge should be served with the tacos/ I believe that is a traditional accoutrement to the dish. I wish them success/ I know the restaurant business is very tough/ flavor is important people are picky/ don't hesitate to make changes for improvement in taste and let your customers know/ they will appreciate it/ thanks folks .
First time at Pancho’s and won’t be our last. It was delicious. The Pollo Fundido was excellent as well as the shrimp tacos. We could have just kept eating the tortillas and salsa they bring to snack on before the meal as they will keep refilling the basket because they were so good. The young man who greeted and served us was presentable, polite and attentive (but not too much). The restaurant itself was quaint and clean. The washrooms were clean but a little chilly.
The staff was nice took time to explain some foods to me
Best Mexican food hands down!! Chimichanga’s are always crispy and delicious!! Chili Verde so so good!!
1st time I have eaten here. My friend has been there and he requested we stop on the way to Vermont to his house, and let me tell u. Being a driver I never eat a big meal or any meal until I'm done for the night but this was a must-lick the plate to get every last piece of food. Chicken Chipotle was ridiculous. Can't wait to go back there again, a must-visit place for everyone.
Pancho’s is our favorite ‘go-to’ restaurant!! The food is always top notch and the margaritas are fantastic! They are attentive from the chips and salsa lady right through to our wonderful server, Ana!! We had our daughter and son-in-laws rehearsal dinner here and 9 years later our friends still rave about what a fun restaurant and event!! We visit weekly and always take our out of town guests because they request it!!!
The best Mexican food quality In a large radius of the area. The servings are large and delicious. We went with a family of 7 and they allowed us all the time we needed on a busy Saturday evening. We asked to make their salsa spicier and they gladly provided a spicey homemade add on! Tasty! Their Alcoholic drinks are enormous!
Went to celebrate my granddaughter's birthday. They sang and made it special for her. Good food and service.
I have lived in the area for a long, long time and Pancho’s is my family’s favorite local restaurant. I have visited it, too many times to count, and the food and service have always been outstanding. Pancho’s is highly recommended, you will not be disappointed. Promise!
Love Panchos. Great service. Great staff, great food. Big portions!
We were seated right away by the hostess. Our waiter arrived maybe 45 seconds laterite that. And took our drink order. I ordered the (medium sized) spicey margarita for about 14 bucks. Within minutes our drinks arrived. Thank God I didn't get the large, because the medium was enormous that came in what I can only describe as a genetically modified slender glass mug. There was easily enough for 3 -4 people to get a good buzz. The drink it's self was definitely made with good alcohol and there was plenty of it in there. After taking a few sips of our drinks pur food arrived(which was less than 10 mins of us walking in the door). I ordered the carnitas dinner. Ohhhhh myyyy ggggaaaawwwwwdddd. First the serving was enormous The carnitas had a delicate and barely there crust, the insides were soo frigging tende, no knife needed. I'll admit I absolutely despises beans of any kind, let alone refried beans...but these i swear were simply Devine. Everything on the plate went perfectly together. I quickly realized that if I placed a small amount of meat, beans, and the other sides that came with it all together in one mouthful, that the taste and experience was dang near organic. As you chew you can taste each of the different flavors consistently. All in all I would definitely recommend. Two of us ate and had 2 top shelf drinks a piece, 2 entrees, and an appetizer all for less than $80 before tip. I'll will lastly say that everyone who knows me, will tell you I hate Mexican food...but this place will definitely be a regular place we go.
My favorite Mexican place near Albany. No reservations means you have to wait at times, but once seated they are fast. Salsa and chips are A++!
This is our second time coming to Ponchos as we live 2.5 hours away. Both times the food was EXCELLENT. Our server was Sophia and she was a very sweet young lady that made sure we had everything we needed. We really enjoy coming here.
We've been coming here for about 14 years now... started as a dating site now it's a regular bi weekly thing for us....I normally don't post but tonight they had SPICY Margaritas on the board. Well, I ordered one and I couldn't be more surprised on how it lived up to it's name... Jaime, our server, hooked me up... this thing made my lips tingle with just enough spice!! I would recommend this to anyone who loves Hot/Spicy. Eating the jalapeños with chips once you got to the bottom was a nice bonus spice at the end. The food as always was and is fantastic!! The fajitas are our go-to because we can split it, because we eat our fair share of chips and salsa... Thank you Panchos for keeping our date night a tradition.
We love the food! When we've eaten there the service was great! Ordering take out is what we've found to be an issue. On two occassions we ordered through mealeo and found ourselves waiting for 30+ minutes at pick up. Not sure why and they couldn't explain it either.
The food was great and the prices are fair. My only issue is that our waiter wasnt very attentive. I had to ask other staff for boxes to take our food home and I had to flag down the waiter just for my check as I had been waiting forever. Other than that it's a great place to eat. GET A MARGARITA!!!
We didn't get our chips and salsa. Wasn't sure if it was a covid issue. But then other people did..so it may have been our waitress issue. We asked for water. We were told bottled water only..and then got charged $1.75 per bottle. Never had that happen there either. But our food was very tasty...which is what counts right?
This place has great margs. The chips and salsa is also delightful. The food was just ok... 2nd time trying it may just use it as a place for drinks and apps.
My favorite spot, and the best beef tacos I've had. It's got a "chainy" atmosphere but the food is very high quality. The salsa is great, with lots of cilantro and a little heat, and you can even buy some to go.
The food here is absolutely amazing! Service, on the other hand, was not great at all and actually ruined the experience. We asked the waitress for water 3 times. Finally, we flagged down the manager (who also was hard to get his attention), and he finally brought us water. Never got a refill after 3 empty water cups sat on the end of the table. More attention from the staff, and this would be a 5-star establishment!
The food and service was outstanding. Our waiter, Alex, was great. Would have given 5 stars, but the "background music" was absolutely blaring! ! I realize that restaurants play music to offset multiple conversations going on, but interfered with being able to carry on a conversation with the person across the table from you. Did not see a person in charge or I would have requested a little lower volume. Will still go back because of the great food, just take aspirin before going or ear plugs.
Pancho's Mexican Restaurant is right off Exit 8 off the 87. This is my first visit. It is easy to find because it is in a shopping plaza. They have a great selection food for adults and children, as well as a bar that has margaritas, tequila, sangria, beer and mixed drinks. Pancho's is afforable and they have food available for purchase by the tray in case you want a catered Mexican feast. I will definitely return if I am in the area.
The prices are up and a bit high for what it is honestly. That won't prevent us from coming back though. All of our food was hot and delicious. The only thing I find frustrating is the service being inconsistent. We were here Wednesday afternoon and the female server was very inattentive, dropped the food and never checked back , no drink refills offered until done and visably on her phone . The service should match the premium prices.
Ordered take-out recently. The food was tasty but not extraordinary, flavors are mild and inoffensive. Meal came with a taco and chalupa and both corn tortilla shells were completely soggy and falling apart because they were packed/sealed in with wet items. Don't bother getting the Black Bean Soup it's just beans in gray cheese water.
Stopped bc we were hungry. Second time here. Service was great, no complaints on that. We are vegetarian, so not everyone will have my concerns. Very limited menu for vegetarian, which I am often used to. However, the options they did have, the two we selected simply were not that good. Overall, I feel there are better options out there for Mexican. As an update to the owner: I had to ask about veggie fajitas...told me it has mushrooms, peppers n onions. Came out 90% peppers, onions, two slices of tomato, and literally 3 pieces of mushroom. Not steaming g, like fajitas are, but semi hot. Table next to us returned their fajita's, as they were not hot. As a vegetarian, I get I am not your core audience, but the menu items were pretty basic. I paid something like $16 for peppers n onions, pretty much. That was my frustration. I don't normally complain in a review, as I come from a restaurant background years ago. Put some thought into a few dishes. Add some broccoli, or cauliflower or something with some oomph to the dish. A pile of peppers and onions just wasn't what I was hoping for. My server, was great, but not really concerned about my dinner concerns.
Ordered soft tacos, got hard ones, asked for beans and rice in separate containers, they were mixed together. Possible communication issue in house. Food and service was otherwise good.
Compared to other local Mexican restaurants, where I always get vegetarian fajitas, I have to say very boring. I do always appreciate complementary salsa and chips, so that was nice. The fajita veggies were predominantly green peppers and onions with a few tomatoes. Other favorite places have included some mushrooms and other colored vegetables. The service was very mediocre. What my husband, who was a restaurant manager for decades would call “An Order Taker” the decor was fun and festive, but everything felt “sticky” from the tables to the menus. Not like humid sticky, but not cleaned thoroughly sticky. Margaritas were expensive and weak and to me, tasted like from a mix. I won’t be back.
Ok food. We ordered take out and we were late (restaurant was probably on time, we were held up) but they left our order on the counter the whole time so it was room temp when we got there. I know we were late (accident on 87 + every. Single. Traffic light), but I figured it’d be kept in a warming oven or something. But I also rated the restaurant as a 2 because there’s nothing out of the ordinary about anything we ordered…like a step up from Taco Bell but, idk, I was expecting more I guess. Not bad per se but I wouldn’t recommend it if someone asked for a good Mexican restaurant
I only left two starts because the food is so good. Service is Less than satisfactory. We wanted a table for two and staff walked by us for for well over 5 minutes until someone came up to us. Nobody greeted us or anything. The couple in front of us were seated right away and there were clearly tables open when they told us 25 minute wait. We keep trying to give them chances after a bad experience last time when our weightress didn’t even crack a smile and practically threw the check at us. Staff is just very unfriendly. This is unfortunate because the Food is delicious and comes out fast. We will be going to Troy from now on.
Super nice people. Very basic food, not much flavor.
Went here for lunch. Wanted to try a new Mexican food place. We did not care for it, from the atmosphere, the service and the food. It was not good. No flavor or taste to the food. Had a beef burrito, taco and an enchilada. With rice. Plus the salsa and chips. Prices average. But we will not be back. Better Mexican food options around.
I used to love to go to Panchos for dinner until a few weeks ago when the server was slow and not good at all. The place was not busy and it still took a long time for drinks and food. So today we gave it another try. This time was no better. I had to ask for the drinks we ordered after about 10 min of waiting. Then 2 guys sat at the bar we had been sat next to. The guys started swearing and no employee said anything. In fact one of the employees swore. I am done with this place and looking for a new one. Do not eat here. The service is now aweful.
I gave it more than one stars because it wasn’t inedible it was just tasteless. A small side container with tomatoes masquerading as pico, tamale sauce smelled nothing like Mexican anything. Let’s get to the tamales almost fluffy consistency more like flat cake fill with BEEF I ORDERED CHICKEN. WTH. $15 for 3 tamales a la cart and a bunch of stuff I didn’t ask for or want. Maybe they could drop the prices a few cents and don’t give free items people don’t want. There’s nothing authentic about this food if you’ve ever been to South America. I’m still sticker shook at $15.
We were there in our trip to New York on Dec 30th, it was interesting for me decoration was nice we sat there it was like man first served us Nacho with Salsa was not bad He brought us 3 bottles of water and didn’t mention anything so we thought is with order We were 3 and ordered 2 because we were not that much hangry and that made the owner angry I guess his face changed and when we finished and we thanked him he didn’t do any reaction the guy was literally angry my partner is Mexican he tipped him but he definitely didn’t deserve I guess that’s why restaurant was empty so you go there pay more they will be happy if not they don’t care about you Food was normal not bad but he charged us bottles which he should have mentioned in beginning But overall you man didn’t deserve that tip
They always play games with take out orders and wait until you show up to actually put the order in. So here I am 40 minutes after I put the order in on line and they are asking me who I am and what the order is for and are confused. Oh, gee….. they just found the order ticket, so now the order is in and the clock is ticking…… terrible service. Food is great though
I always love coming to this place to eat, even though I always order the same food. I know sometimes you have to wait a while to get your food, but it has always been worth the wait. Today I went out of my way to order the special Taco Salad with Chicken, Shrimp, and Beef, the food was hot and delicious, then I ate a shrimp and there was something I thought was the shell, when I got it out of my mouth it was a thin piece of plastic that was in my salad. The girl came to see if we wanted containers and I showed her the plastic she took it to the manager or owner and he came asking questions and I felt he thought I was lying. Then came the bill and he came back to apologize for the food and only took $5 off the bill for a dish that cost $18.99, I'm sorry, but $5 dollars is an insult, I wasn't going to argue, but him making me feel like I lied, which may not have been intentional. That $5 cost him business, there was still quite a bit of food that was thrown away. We ordered pickup there once a week, and today we decided to sit in for a change. This will cost him business because we won't be back.
Don't know how good or bad their food quality is as we decided not to stay to find out. Based on the quality of the chips (stale) and salsa (without the spice or flavor), we figured it cannot be good and didn't want to take the chance and left. We won't be going back there.
Not that great tonight. Service was sub par, They dont serve tap water. They make you buy bottled water if you want water with your meal. Wouldn't bring chips and salsa until they took the menus away. Food was just ok. Have been there many times before and it was much better. Plus we had our 2 grand children and 1 eats off the kids menu and it says kids eat for .99 cents now its 4.99. Plus they charge you 1.00 for apple juice with the kids meal. I guess COVID has been really rough on them .
Very sad experience! Long waiting time to be seated when it wasn’t busy. No one said anything to us for 20 minutes. There were only 7 tables occupied! My husband asked if we needed to seat ourselves and if we could sit outside and the waiter replied in a very hateful tone it would be a minute! When we got tired of waiting and were walking out he thought it was a great time to seat us and when we told him we were going elsewhere he said good! Needless to say we won’t be coming back.
Im sorry for leaving a Bad review because I get the same thing for my Husband all the time and never had a problem.Never had any problem with the food or the service until today.I order Enchilada verde and refried beans and the beans were terrible. They tasted bad and salty.I called to let them know and the woman said sorry, she didnt know. She didnt even offer for me to bring it back and get a new one or give me credit the next time I come in.AllI got was a sorry. To me thats really bad service.Im sorry Pancho but because of her servive I wont be back
Saturday evening I was there and did not have a good experience. Our server took forever to get to our table to take our order for drinks. When she finally came to greet us we put our whole order in because it had been so long. Then we never got our drinks until she saw me staring at her (over 10 minutes) Then our food orders (2) took over 45 mins to get to us. Our server didn’t come to notify us on what was the hold up. We were looking for her to tell her we were about to walk out due to the extremely poor service. Then to finally receive our order and it not to be up to par was all around disappointing. She never came back we had to ask for the check and a box from a buser due to her prolonged absence. Our bill was the whole amount which was shocking due to the extreme long wait and poor service. We received no apology or reasons. I contacted them on Facebook and didn’t get a reply. I guess they don’t care if you’re unhappy with your experience at their “ family owned restaurant “. Would not recommend. Save your time.
During a stop on my road trip, I opted for takeout at this Mexican restaurant. Unfortunately, I was surprised that sour cream wasn't provided with the quesadillas. Upon requesting it, I was informed it came at an additional cost of $1.25 for a small portion, which seemed excessive. Understanding the importance of condiments in enhancing dishes, it would have been appreciated if they were included or offered generously. Moreover, the portion size of the quesadillas was notably small, more suitable for a child than an adult.
Sat at the table for 20 minutes before someone came to the table. Meat seems tough and old. They don’t greet you for what seems like forever. They used to be good, but clearly don’t care if you are enjoy dining there. Please improve.
I have no idea how their food is because they failed to take my TO GO order. I was given a menu then flagged down the manager who gave us the menu. He indicated to one of the waitresses to take the order. Two waitresses sat by the bar giggling and playing on their cellphone. The other waitress was waiting on the two ttables that had patrons. We walked put...can get better service somewhere else.
I am in the business of hospitality and found that this restaurant was less than hospitable. I went with my two children and wife, was checked on once, and the food was served cold. I would not recommend this place and would rather drive five minutes further to go to La Fiesta which has more authentic food and better service.
Wanted to try a different Mexican restaurant-this was not it! Seating was a bit strange as it was two different sides but with completely different decor. The side we were seated had a short counter which reminded me more of a diner rather than a restaurant. There weren't many customers but a lot of wait staff seemingly bored. Drink options are good but weak in tasting any liquor. Ordered Pollo Fundido which I've had at other Mexican places and it came to the table like a big heaping mess of onions and peppers with wet rice. The chicken underneath was pale in color, thin, and tasted processed. I'm convinced it was not real chicken breast. Needless to say, I didn't eat much of it and the waitress never came over to see if we liked our food. Overall, I will never go here again.
Meh. Ordered beef enchiladas. No flavor. Tomato paste based enchilada sauce was boring but had the most flavor of anything on plate. Waiter was not talkative, friendly or attentive until he brought the check and it was tip time. Will never return.
I’ve been a frequent customer at Pancho’s. It’s the only Mexican cuisine restaurant that’s on route home. The staff are always pleasant. Unfortunately the food isn’t. I’ve had different dishes ranging from burritos, tacos and quesadillas. The best thing on the menu is usually the rice and beans. The chips have a stale taste the salsa is very mild/bland. The entrees don’t pop like they do on the menu and anytime I’ve had cheese (that’s included in the dish) it is always extremely SALTY. I know the staff works hard. I just hope they modify their dishes.
The service at this restaurant is terrible. I ordered pick up for a set time over an hour in advance. When I arrived no one behind the counter even talked to me until one of the wait staff came up 8 minutes after me standing there being ignored. The staff is really good at pretending no customer is standing there needing attention. The waiter tried to help me and found my order by the kitchen waiting to be prepared. My order was no where near being ready beyond the time I had requested to pick it up. I had to sit there and wait 20 minutes for my order to be prepared. When I called to place the order they originally said it would take 20 minutes. The person who took my order clearly screwed up. No one apologized, no one offered any reparations.
Have been eating at Panchos for over 2 years, always had an incredible experience whether dining-in or getting takeout. The previous two experiences have been disappointing, and tonight was the worst. Whatever teenage girl they have answering the phones and taking orders is very rude, argues with the customer, and doesn’t know the menu. They say she is new but she’s been there for months. Then several of our combos tonight were completely missing the rice and beans, others were made wrong, and everything was just soggy and unappetizing. I don’t know if there has been some kind of change behind the scenes, but it’s not like it used to be. First world problems, I know, but it was $100.00 tonight to feed the family with Panchos and our money would have been better spent elsewhere. They offered to have me drive back out to pick up rice and beans but I would rather just have a refund.
