Opinions de DQ Grill & Chill Copperas Cove
Copperas Cove continues to surprise and delight me with the quality of the restaurants around town, most notably the chains like this DQ The service here is always quick, friendly, knowledgeable and enjoy a good joke. The food is what you come for though and for whatever reason this DQ is easily the best one I’ve eaten at and I’ve travelled this nation extensively. Weird to say, right? But here’s the thing. Even if the staff changes, and it doesn’t seem too too often, the quality and service stay exactly the same. It’s done well and correctly, made to order and fresh and done to the book making it stand out already, but this one… this one stays the same. Every time. So, hey, is it the best 5 star burger ever? Maybe, maybe not, but I do know if I order a Jalitos Ranch Hungr Bustr it always tasted darn good and exactly what I was imagining and remembering. Ok, I’m off my soapbox now, seriously though; this place is clean, friendly, tasty and consistent. Recommend!
Drive through very slow but food new jallitos burger ,was very good ,I ate another two days later someone stopped off and brought me .very good again .This place has lots of ice cream shakes and fun options for kids .
Since they did a face lift, the inside is clean and sleek. The staff was all so friendly and took the time to explain some items to a child.
Newly renovated store looks great!, has a new crew so they make rookie mistakes like forget your extra cheese on the burger, just ask and they will get it right. Overall nice place that will only get more business.
Drive thru fast , accurate . Price fair, staff polite .
i ordered a large new york cheesecake and got the best blizzard of my life with plenty of toppings. it was so good omg
The employees were extremely nice and they got our food out quickly. The employees went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our food and asked if we needed anything while we ate. My family had a wonderful visit🙌🏼
It's DQ that's what i Iove about Texas. They hit the spot for just a little something if you get a mini blast. I like the choices of ice-cream and add ins. Price is fair. I'm always waiting for the ice cream to spill out when they flip it over. Hasn't yet.
I came here on Monday August 5th of 2019 and my grilled chicken sandwich was amazing. Best chicken sandwich I had. I highly recommend here. Although low on staff in the front and the kitchen the trainee cook that day made my sandwich taste great.
Burgers and fries were made fresh while I waited. I asked for my cups and didn't overfill with ice. Workers were just too loud talking with each other.
Mayfield family DQ is a local institution. Always kind service, quick and deliscious. Restaurant is kept clean and a couple tables outside for nice weather. Stop by here for lunch and/or ice cream treats. And they have chocolate soft serve ice cream option.
Absolutely love this Dairy Queen! Food is amazing and always fresh! I don't mind waiting 6-8 minutes for fresh patties, chicken strips, or steak fingers ect. It's worth it! Plus I like knowing my food hasn't been sitting under a warmer 20+ mins. Fresh is best! I try to treat my self at least once a week, and they nail it every time. If I'm inside or in the drive through, the employees are pleasant 98% of the time. I had to ask the young lady that made me pull around what the reasoning behind it was. I would have never guessed that other stores in the district compete for the best "drive through times". I dig the motivation💪 very clean facility as well. I will continue to visit👍
Had 20 teenagers order milkshakes. They cranked them out fast. Amazing staff.
The food here has always been good. We have eaten here many times and have always had a good experience. We had a little better experience this time. We wanted dilly bars for the kids, and they were out. After we arrived at the window, I asked for the replacement bars, which was some 4th of July red, white, and blue bars. The girl at the register hooked us up for a regular dilly bar. She was awesome, and I hope to see her next time we go there. She got a good small tip from us.
Fantastic lunch experience at this location. I Normally only go to a Mayfield Dairy Queen but these 2 young men that day were on the ball and in their zone! Good job boys the food and service was equal to a Mayfield location and that says alot.
They are always SO nice there. Customer service is above and beyond and the restaurant and bathrooms are super clean. Love this place.
I love Dairy Queen, excellent, clean place to go to. Inside or drive thru, you won't be disappointed. The food is really great and service is always excellent. They do get busy sometimes which means you have to wait of course, but this doesn't diminish the good service and great food. It is always clean, love that.
What can you say about Dairy Queen, the name says it all! The only thing you could do is rename it to Dairy King! I love their soft serve ice cream in a cone, always have and already will. Only thing I would do is lower the price a bit.
Billy at the drive thru on 01/27 around 8pm is the guy! He made the order perfect.. followed through with our request, he is the guy! Promote him. Give him a raise. Whatever he wants he deserves!
The $7 meal deal can't be beat. Burger, fries, drink, and a sundae for 7 bucks. It was all fresh and hot. I also recommend any flavor blizzard, dipped cone, ice cream cake, and parfait. Everything is good here, which makes it difficult to choose a meal from the menu! Just give me one each of everything, please!
Family tradition to stop here, get ice cream and traffic watch! Never disappointed! Drive thru was fast and staff is always very friendly. Orders are always correct and never had an problem. Blizzards and dipped cones are a favorite. Noticed they serve DQ cakes! Can't find this near me in Florida.
EVERY SINGLE ONE of those young people working on Sunday May 5th at 8pm-9pm, had the most polite and impeccable manners !! It's been decades since I've seen that many at one time. I walk with a walker, they RAN to help me with opening the door. They didn't try to rush me catching my breath to order. Nor after when the item I wanted, they were out of. They didn't get upset when I checked my order and had fries instead of onion rings. They just handed me the rings in the bag as soon as they were done cooking. And again on my way out they held the door for me. I'm grateful the place was slow enough for them to do this. I heard friendly banter and chatter without any questionable or bad Language. I hope the owners and managers truly know what a rare bunch of wonderful employees they have there. Without a doubt I'll be back again BECAUSE of the service I was given.
Service was good. Ordered two sundaes for dine in. Came out quickly. Did forget to bring out spoons, but corrected it right away. Will return.
Good experience. Staff friendly and helpful. Prompt service. Order brought out timely, was correct and tasted great. Restaurant looks nice since it's recent remodel. Only bummer was they had no tea made.
Employees appear to be confused at the front. Supervisors responsibility to ensure customer service training. Need more employees. Maybe, offer more pay as an incentive. Orders received take from 15 - 20 minutes . The banana splits shrunk in size & prices are higher. I go to Denny's or baskin&Robbins for banana splits.
I went to the drive-thru for ice cream. I ordered a peanut buster parfait for me and specifically requested a small, tiny blop of ice cream in a small cup for my small dog. I paid for both ($8.xx), and they handed me a full plain ice cream in a cup. I explained to the extremely nice young man that I only wanted a plop, as it was for my super small dog. He then said, "Oh!! A pup cup!!" And turned and got me exactly what I requested. He haned me the cup, and some woman, I'm assuming a manager or team lead, raised her voice to him and told him "I don't ever want to see you put the ice cream in that container ever again." She was beyond rude to this young man. Not to mention that I paid for a full ice cream, as I know a PBP is not $8!! As he handed me my parfait, I thanked him and told him she was rude to him and it was uncalled for. He blew it off, which is fine. It shows his character and excellent home training. (Thanks to whomever his mom and dad are. You raised him right!!!) But that woman's attitude, demeanor, and rudeness were completely uncalled for. If he made a mistake, hey, we all do, correct him kindly, and NOT in front of a customer!!! I hope management sees this. I hope the young man working the drive thru on Thursday, February 22nd, at about 4:30PM sees this too. Sir, keep that great attitude!!! I have no doubt you'll go far in life!!!
I come once a month to treat myself because that's all I can afford to eat out. The last 3 times I have gone wanted tacos and each time they say they don't have meat thawed, I finally asked why she said "the morning grew forgot to take it out". I said how hard is that and I asked what are they doing in the morning? She actually said they are teens and they just playing around 😑 I always go between 7pm 8pm because I learned they are busy and cooking to order I don't mind waiting because that to means they are cooking to order. Never go right after lunch because you going to get cold things had that experience. Everything was fine beside the 3 times they had no taco meat thawed. Now I am a little bit concerned about going this month knowing kids are playing around and not working. I would suggest a surprise inspection in a morning. Do not know about how clean it is if kids(employees)are playing all morning. I think I am skipping this month after reading the reviews.
Just stopped by for some ice cream for the family. I used the mobile app. So when I first came in, greeted almost immediately but I forgot my phone to show them the order, I came back and they were preclosing and cleaning so it took a minute for one of the crew to get with me.
Ordered 4 blizzards thru the drive up. They were a bit melted. Every one of them. They were delicious and the cashier was nice. I was the only one in line soooo the melted blizzards were a surprise.
The chili cheese dog served to us today was undercooked, almost cold. The shakes were good though. After many different food experiences at different dairy queens from virginia to Texas, I must say I believe they need to refocus on ice cream and stop doing "fast food". Dairy Queen in general was better before they started trying to do fast food.
This is a standard Dairy Queen. As with many of the Dairy Queen stores in Central Texas it has problems with consistency in both service and product. I will occasionally continue to get a quick milkshake, cone or blizzard as I pass by; but I no longer make a special trip to visit.
Used the drive thru and it was extremely slow. Food was great and the lady at the window was great. Just the wait time made it hard. I was in line for approximately 17 minutes.
Positives : they still makes a mean hamburger and the blizzards were mixed all the way to the bottom. Also, the young lady at the drive thru was pleasant even though... Negatives: the speaker/communicator at the menu must have a short in it or there was too much noise ambient noise inside, because the cashier appeared to have some difficulty understanding my order. THUS, some items I ordered were not on my ticket or in the bag, and they forgot to give me my drink, so I had to turn around and come back for both. Also, it has become apparent that the medium size blizzards have gotten smaller and once upon a item it came with two mixers for free and now it it has but one. Still, good burgers...
It is easy to get in and out of their lot if you are headed north or west. Otherwise, you must get through the traffic that is waiting for the light. This may take a while depending on the time of day. The service was quick and the person taking the order was amicable and helpful. But the young lady at the window, didn't give napkins with the order and when we asked for napkins, she just shut the window on us.
Just spent about 15 min in the drive thru lane for 2 blizzards. My husband's blizzard was missing caramel and mine was melted. Because the young men apologized I give 3 stars. Normally I would request to get another blizzard but I needed to get to my appointment.
It wasn’t a great day. Order was messed up twice. servers were irritated it seemed with each other and it showed but they food was fine when it was finally correct.
I only come here for a Blizzard fix so I cant comment on food items. Blizzards are always well mixed and have generous portions of toppings. Staff is friendly and efficient. Dining room can use some attention (3 of 9 tables were dirty and there was a completely melted cone near the soda machine).
Even for a Dairy Queen, this place is pretty bad. If you go inside you'll notice how filthy it is, if you order from the drive-through, there's a good chance they'll be 'out of' whatever you want. It's actually a bit of a mystery how they stay in business, as they are far from any other fast food places. On the up side, the parking lot makes a handy place to cut around the four-way stop when it seems to be stuck on red.
Food took a while for it to come out warm, not hot. Then my son’s blizzard was a mess. One of the employees had crocs on with no socks. Logan was rude and made a comment under his breath about its Dairy Queen how hard can it be to order. When we knew what we wanted, their employee was telling us it was unavailable when it was. Just horrible. And a big reason I don’t come here.
I haven't gone to this DQ in years due to some bad experiences. On this day there were only 2 employees in the store and it was somewhat busy. They handled themselves like professionals. Everything came out in a timely manner!
What a mess!! They opened the lobby yesterday & today April 14, 2022, they wouldn’t open it. The sign says because they are short staffed. But the line is backed up down the road, all I want it ice cream, and I have to wait in this huge line, behind ppl who are probably ordering food. Why not open the lobby for ice cream orders only? Or at least have the ppl ordering food pull around & bring them their food when it’s done? It doesn’t make sense to me, but I love the ice cream so much & so does my 82 yr old mom, so here I sit waiting in this loooong line. Lol I just think there could be a better way. 🤷🏻♀️
They are never open when they are supposed to be. I looked up their hours ahead of time, and went 35 mins after they were supposed to open to locked doors. Annoyed but at least I didn't waste a ton of time. Their wait times are terrible when I normally go, and I usually get ignored for a while. I work in food service so I get it, but I also understand what service, even mediocre, is supposed to look like. They don't get paid enough, but still
Stopped by to get some ice cream. First item I chose I was told they didn't have any brownies. Second item I chose I was told they didn't have one of the toppings I wanted. Finally the third item which only consisted of two ingredients they had. Service was slow, stood at the counter for probably close to five minutes before anyone said anything. Inside just felt dirty.
The taco salad i got barely had anything in it.
The young lady dressed as the manager brings a chocolate dipped cone and regular cone to our table when we ordered two chocolate dipped cones. We tell her we ordered two dipped cones. She goes and dips the cone and gives it to us. A few minutes later she brings us two cones. And then pretty much tells us we are at fault for her bringing us the wrong cones. No apology. Just… I asked you if the order was yours. Yes, you did. And we answered her by telling her we had two chocolate cones. She then wants our receipt. I get it, if we took a whole meal, but we honestly had no idea that she was giving us someone else’s cones. We went as a family to enjoy a treat. Not to get attitude because the employee wasn’t reading the tickets correctly. If she is management, she needs training.
Our visit was very unsatisfactory. We ordered a crispy chicken salad no tomato and according to the ingredients list on line we were missing many things, no mixed lettuce no bacon no croutons. The lettuce was very wilted. Also we ordered a 4 PC steak finger combo and was not informed that there was no gravey until after I received the meal. By time I got home to make my own gravy my food was soggy, these were both a waste of money. The burger was great though. The young lady who is was the manager I am assuming, was working so hard to get everything in order that night.
I don’t get it, man. I’ve been in hospitality for 19 years, and a restaurant manager for 15. At what point will this location train their staff to clean the cups before passing them out? And this is the ONLY diary queen I have ever had this issue with. I tell them every time to clean the cups. Take pride in what you do. I’m concerned because if you don’t clean the cups, do yall even wash your hands? I love a good blizzard but man. Management has to do better in training and following through.
Waited over 20 minutes for THREE medium blizzards; not a difficult or confusing order. There were no other customers in the store at the time.
I got a burger and onion rings. The bun was stale and the burger wasn’t even hot. The only thing decent were the onion rings. I understand it’s fast food so you can’t expect too much but hot and fresh isn’t a thing anymore? The burgers are usually good
The service was slow and horrible. I waited in the drive thru for over 20 min & they didn’t even get my order right. I’m pretty patient with fast food restaurants since I’ve worked them, but for them to not be busy and have no one in line that wait time was un called for
Never fails to disappoint. 2 gravy cups for the chicken meals were less than 1/2 full along with 2 missing drinks. Several calls went unanswered.
Slow service, clueless management, the young rude teenager who cooks is too busy goofing off to do his job. Then the menu is too expensive. If I come here its lack of other options. They need an adult to manage not a child the employees dont respect.
There's not many times where I would not take a picture of a place to share with others. This is one of those rare times. The place was dirty. No clean tables. Had to clean a small one myself. Flies everywhere in dinning area. Worst DQ I've been to. The food was alright. Service was good. Never dinning in there again. One and done.
I will most likely never want to go there again. They hired dumb kids who don't know what they are doing simple order banana splits but they had ask multiple times what you want on it like it wasn't hard. Never again I just can't deal with that!!!!
So, my husband took me there today to order a dipped cone. The employee working the window comes back with this sloppy cone with chocolate barely on the icecream and running down the cone. I told her that that was unacceptable and she needed to remake it. She then came back with the 2nd cone just as bad as the first one minus it running down the cone. I then requested to speak to the manager and the team leader returned to the window. I explained to her that the service and food was unacceptable and that I no longer wanted the cone. She stated that the chocolate was too hot and if she remade the cone it would look like the previous ones. I stated again that I no longer wanted the cone and finally she agreed to give us our money, but didn't want to take the cone back. So, I told my husband to drop it. The team leader then states that she wouldn't give us our money which was the wrong thing to tell me. So, my husband pulls up and I go inside where I told the team lead to get her manager on the phone. Once the manager got on the phone, she apologizes and stated that she would tell the rude employee to give me my money. During that time 2 other customers from the drive-thru enters the store and states that their orders were wrong. Those young girls either need to be retrained or terminated for their piss poor customer service.
Went to order here and the lady at the window was extremely rude and had an attitude. This location is slow and takes forever to get orders out and gets attitude if anything is said to them. This place needs a better staff and needs to be properly trained on customer service.
Absolutely horrible, disgusting service and some of the most procariously made burgers I have ever seen. Extremely repuslvie and frankly, simply appalling, the place looks like it was last cleaned in 1980. Bring back communism and this place will be restored to its former glory.
I don't leave review often, but this took the cake. Their menu is misleading and expensive. (Once you figure out the misleading parts, it gets expensive) The food is cheap. No complaints about the employees them selves. Just how the store is ran. Order the #3 sandwich (hunger buster) for 3.69, but then get asked if you want cheese and bacon... ...whatever, yes add cheese +$0.79. (so $4.48 for this nasty tasting sopping wet single patty burger with a slice of cheese) Order a Large Blizzard, because it makes no sense to order a small for 3.50$ (tiny kids cup) when you can get a large for $4.49, but you get a medium mcdonalds sized cup...... so lets say there is 3x smalls in a "large", they charge about $0.50 to upsize. So basically if you take the small, and "downsize" to nothing you have 3$ that doesn't make sense. You're paying 3$ just so they can pull a lever and turn the cup upside down in front of you. So 9.71 for a burger and icecream. FML. How much you want to bet the employees are still being paid bare minimum?
Repeated my order of 1 item at speaker 3 times they said ok. I sat behind a truck for 10 minutes in line while they got there order only to be handed the wrong order. I refused it and then was told they don't sell what I ordered even though it was on the order board. Wasted my gas time and lunch break
Absolutely horrible service in the drive through. On December 23 2108 at 4:30pm. I was the only car on the drive through and the lady at the speaker was rude and told me to wait very rudely and then I waited for 10 minutes and she never came back to get my order and I finally decided to drive away and could see her on her phone. Very unprofessional. I will never go back again.
Empty restaurant, went in ordered 1 large milkshake, paid for it. Two minutes go by another man comes in orders a value meal. His gets prepared and given to him, before I get my milkshake. Like I was an after thought.
Their customer service is lacking. No smiles. Nothing. All three, including the cook looked like they hated their job. Food was okay. Just okay. Update* this has got to be the slowest DQ ever! Waiting 20mins for a blizzard. Never again.
All I needed was a medium order of fries. They were cold, hard and all like the end of the bag fries. Not even a full box for $2.59. I took them back in and asked if this is medium what does the small look like (it's tiny) certainly not worth the price for sure. They say things are cooked to order but that is not true at all because if it was then since I was in drive thru, got order, pulled out, reached in bag, came around and parked then went inside...you would think the fries would be hot...since all I did was leave drive thru and pull up front. I mean it's not like I went off the property and went down the street. Talk about disappointment at the food they are serving. Folks remember you do not have to settle for whatever they give you. Fast food cost alot these days so dang you should at least get freshly cooked HOT food...geez
Not even worth one star, the food is sloppily put together, even when there are no cars behind you in the drive thru you still get parked, the girl at the register had nails so long looks almost impossible to work, I almost positive that is a food code violation and unsanitary. My fries were barely warm and my 7 year old could put a cheeseburger together a lot less sloppier then this dairy queen did. I lost my receipt so I cant even call their survey line to advise them of how horrible this place is!
Horrible, they are incredibly slow and have horrible customer service. Went tonight for ice cream 2 blizzards and 2 Sundays it took 5 minutes to get each blizzard then their ice cream machine "stopped working" in the middle of getting me my order so by the time I was able to get everything and head home all my ice cream was basically liquid.
I am a driver I am always on the road. So I called ahead to put in an order. I was told we do not take orders over the phone. Simple enough they apparently do not want my business.
The meat was microwaved without any seasoning or flavor. The lettuce was drenched with mustard and no ketchup. The fries tasted like a freezer with way too much salt. I didn't enjoy it ..wasted money.
No welcome, couldn't answer basic questions, ask for the manager, she didnt know flavor of cakes, fountain machine down, looks like it hasn't been clean in weeks. For driving out of my way to eat here, never again. Chicken tenders we order came our cold 5 minutes after sitting down. One of the workers, Marcus, was cussing up a storm about his mother. Another worker, locked her co workers out while they took the trash out. Which prevented other customers from coming in. One of the other male workers went to the restroom, with his headset on....three of the workers are just chilling in a booth like it's party central.
Every time I come here I spend more than 25 minutes for an ice cream cone. Never enough employees. They throw away more ice cream as I watch. Get more employees on shift. I don’t get why it takes so long for a cone. And my order is always wrong. Sell food or ice cream because y’all clearly can’t handle both.
Simple orders taking 45 minutes to fulfill is crazy. Especially when the place is dead.
We brought our grandkids to DQ after a soccer game to celebrate their win. Had a bad experience with the manager being disrespectful to his employees. When the employee asked for his assistant. We Spoke up to manager and manager was very very rude to us the customers!!! Never coming here again!!!!
Waited 10 mins for a wrong order. When my order was corrected(which only took less than two minutes to slop together), I was given a cheeseburger that had more cheese and mustard on the wrapper than on my burger. My ice tea was watered down due to sitting at the window since my first incorrect order. What happened to taking pride in your service and product?!?
I waited 5 min at the drive thru then when I got to the window the girl was constantly walking around the store never came to my window it tool 15 min. I was wondering if she was in the back milking the cow. After 20 min she finally came and the milkshake was covered in a mess of milkshake outside and it wasn't even full. It was probably a small milkshake as I was charged with a large cup with small milkshake size. So after all that time had passed my lunch break was about over. So I really didn't have a chance to eat, I guess some careless people dont realize how much their selfishness affects others. So i ended up having a migraine cuz I barely ate wasted gas sitting in the driveway for 20 min in the heat waiting for the cashier to make half a milkshake. Horrible dairy queen. The cashier needs to understand she ain't the only one in the world struggling with every day stupidity and selfishness from a lot of people everywhere
Went through the drive thru; received the wrong burger(ordered a Jalitos, got a regular hunger busters and was charged for it) and also had a piece of my bun ripped off like a mouse got to it. Absolutely disgusting and poor service. At least they got my food to me under 30 minutes this time.
Always slow even if you are the only one in drive thru. Slow if you are inside. Never say we'll be right with you or apologize for the wait. Ask is that all after every item in your order you make as if you're bothering them. Pull up to the window no one is there or they have their back to you. Probably the worst Dairy Queen I've ever been to unfortunately the closest one to where we live.
The level of incompetence is astonishing. Ordered one thing and the employee who was taking the order confirmed it as something entirely different. Multiple times. Had no chocolate sauce for 1 and didn't get any in any of them. Service was incredibly slow. Overall an irritating experience. The other dairy queen in cove is much better.
Sour beef fingers smelled like fish. Soda was supposed to be diet coke tasted like root beer and diet coke. Bath smells.
Not a fan any longer. Service was slow. Requested a item to be added to my food. Was repeated by the staff at the speaker and at the window...get home and it wasn't added. Blizzard was melted and all over my cup. 2nd bad experience at this location. 6 months later...another wasted attempt. Get my meal home and the burger didn't have any meat. Went back...and it was remade but with one patty. Complete waste of time and money.
If I could rate my experience with no stars, I would. Absolutely terrible service. Had to repeat my order 4 times and they still got it wrong. On top of them taking my order incorrectly, there was a long hair in my blizzard. Hire people that care. This staff obviously does not.
Stopped in tonight around 9:30pm, placed our order, finally got to the window at 9:55, we gave exact amount of cash for 1 small dipped confetti cake cone and 1 banana split, it was $8.53...handed the money, and another guy came to assist the person with the money at the register, he pushed a button, the system went down, another guy came and 'They could NOT accept CASH' ...IT WAS THE EXACT AMOUNT...our order was melting before our eyes, they would NOT give us our order, the 2nd guy YELLED that we had to pay by card...WHAT THE HELL??? we left with our cash...WE WILL NEVER STOP THERE AGAIN!!!
Ordered a Brownie batter blizzard through the drive thru. Pulled up to the window and his name was rikki and I said to that that's not the blizzard I ordered it was the wrong one and he said yes it is i just made it and proceeded to argue with me about it and it really made me upset. This dairy queen has very poor customer service I will never be going back.
It is a day before Thanksgiving and I get it, y'all don't wanna be here. But to order $46.00 in food and recieve an extra salty burger cold fries and $3.39 for 10 jalitos is not exceptable when we could have went elsewhere. Nobody even told us you were out of ranch even when you brought our food out. My husband struggled eating his burger.. it tasted like salt was dumped on it! Aweful. And my fries taste stale and cold like they sat for a few hours. Nothing fresh about it. Really disappointed.
That need to be shut down, poor service, food cold, then tell you to pull around and wait 15 minutes for your food you paid for, after they take your money, then tell you to pull around, y'all are sorry, just close down, nobody need to come to y'all..
Never have I ever. But this is the worst customer service I’ve ever had in my life! The so-called manager gave me a look up and down, and I just shook his hand and walked away. Food is always great thank you kitchen cook!! I saw you cooking and still running food out. The management in the other hand.. we’re gonna have a look at that.
I don’t think employee deserve their pay I ordered hamburger I was told to wait at parking lot after about 20 minutes got my order but turned out cold so this was the third times the other two was they were out of Texas toast. Very very disappointed I am hoping that the owner will teach his employee proper customer service and reduced their pay.
We waited over an hour for food that was ordered ahead. The steak fingers were half done and stuck together, the fries was cold, the toast was soggy. The only thing that was warm was the gravy. An employee was sent to Family Dollar next door for regular bread. 4 employee was standing while I stood there, no one greeted me or said may I help you. I ended up wait for the manager to finish her phone call. We had an hour drive back home
Jaziiyah didn’t say a single word to us when we got our food, no greeting just stood there and stared at us 😂
Whoever was working the drive thru tonight (09/14) was very rude and disrespectful. I will never go back to this location.
10/10 worst food ever. The food did not taste fresh. They forgot my order. Then took to long to make it.
We just moved to Copperas Cove and have been here multiple times already. I honestly don’t know why…. EVERY time we have gone. No matter what we ordered we had to pull around to the front of the building and wait for our food. It has been almost 15 minutes each time. There is no reason when they aren’t busy that we should have to wait that long for food!!! Drive through is incredibly slow!!
Hello, I'm not sure what's going g on with DQ on 1st in Copperas Cove, but I decided I want a DQ Hunger Buster meal today. I was actually looking forward to it. But one bite into the 🍔 burger sent me hurling. If I had dined in I would have asked for a refund, but I was picking up and headed home. It really tasted like they had soaked the meat in some type of cleaning fluid. I will not spend my dollars at DQ again. $10+ for a medium burger meal and it was AWFUL.
I thought Fort Hood Street DQ was bad. This location made me discover it could be worse. Previous visits here have made me decide that DQ is really for ice cream only. The food is 0/10. And they never have any napkins out, even though ice cream is messy. As well as not offering napkins in drive thru. But then going for ice cream tonight made me struggle to ever want to come back here. Long drive thru line made me decide to go in because I didn't want my car partly in the intersection. Once inside and ice cream ordered, I watched a guy attempt to dip my cone about 3 times. Failing each time. Then they continued to tell me they just refilled their ice cream machine so it'd be a minute. Fine. I've already been waiting 10+ minutes. After the lady attempted twice, they just finally decided to quit and told me it won't work. Offered a different item. I refused as it was literally the only reason I came. For a dipped cone. Somehow, my husband's banana split was perfectly fine, though. But they couldn't put the ice cream in a cup and pour the chocolate "dip" over the ice cream. This DQ misses much more than it ever hits. Gunna have a hard time telling the kids no when they ask for DQ again.
The small cup they give you for the gravy for your chicken basket is ridiculous. It's not even enough gravy for a chicken strip. The customer service at this location is great and all the employees are nice. But they should really tell you they're giving you a quarter of the amount of gravy that they used to give you in your chicken basket. I hope the owner or corporate really does something. Charge more money if you have to I'd rather pay more money and get a decent amount of gravy like they used to give.
Pull into the EMPTY lot and up to drive thru, asked to wait. No big deal, I wait. Give my order eventually then pull to window. No cashier, no one in lobby, no one at other registers. Just empty! After what felt like 10 minutes an employee walks INTO the restaurant and hands me my food. Forgetting my drink and ice cream. And no explanation for the extended wait. I had two cars behind me. Don’t expect much from this place.
Appalling! If I could give zero stars I would. For starters, we walked in and there was no line. There was only one other family eating and they already had their food. It still took over 15 minutes for our food to be served. We ordered 2 meals, one of which was wrong, so we had to wait even longer. The food we did receive was shockingly horrible. The toast was beyond burned - maybe this was why we had to wait so long? So they could burn it to this degree?!? To add insult to injury, my husband spooned a hair out from our gravy. Disgusting!
