I travel alot and every time I come to New York my first stop is at Bella Maria's in Coram they have the most delicious food and the best pizza ever

New owners Erin and Roberto have created a cozy family friendly atmosphere with divine food. Stuffed square bread, mussels oreganata and charred broccoli were unbelievably delicious. Fresh sea bass francese and chicken saltimbocca perfectly sauced, light and not salty. Highly recommend this gem of a restaurant!

This place is excellent! My family have ordered slices to go and have eaten dinner in the back. Both times the food was incredible and has become our new spot in the area.

The pizza and hero’s are awesome. I moved to this area last year from Bohemia and after trying a few other places (Zara’s, Bella Roma’s) I was honestly about to never try to eat pizza out here again, but me and my fiancé ordered from Bella Maria’s and I was happy we did. The only downer is they only deliver after five pm and we recently went to place a delivery order and they now only take credit cards as payments because their delivery person got robbed by some dirtbags. Other then that the employees are so friendly and the place is very clean.

If I could give this pizzeria 10 stars I would. We just ordered two Sicilian pies and calamari. It was delicious. It is so hard to find a good pizza place now A days but I’m happy that I finally found one. Will deffinately be ordering from them again.

Went for a party in the back for a 70th birthday. The service was like they had machines two girls ran the show like no other. Quality of the food is top notch, good servings and flavor.

I’ve gone multiple times since it has come under new ownership and absolutely loved it. I’ve dined in the dining room in the back, service was amazing and the food was incredible. Since under new ownership I have visited several times, the pizza is delicious and always fresh. I have sat down and had dinner with my family and it was spectacular. We love the chicken Marsala, chicken franchese and the clam sauce spaghetti.

Saying this with 17 years in the pizza industry . Great food and price . Second time I had the food here . And both times I was more than impressed with the flavors and presentation. Can’t go wrong with this place as a the local spot . All the staff is very nice too . Will definitely be back for more .

Bella Maria is a family owned friendly place. Chef Roberto's menu is delicious. We have had celebration in the back and we stop by at.least once a week for lunch and dinner. During lent Bella Maria is the go-to place for Friday night meals.

I tried them one night after my usual pizza place was rude. Their food was excellent, the girl who answered the phone was patient and took her time making sure our order was correct, and my husband thought the inside was very nicely kept. Definitely a repeat customer here.

Great food, great people. Try the daily specials, they are not the usual things you find in most Italian eateries, and they taste great. Well made and authentic tasting. Also the seafood dishes are very good. If you like shrimp, muscles, clams, this is the place for you. And the prices are very reasonable.

Went to this place while i was out of town. Came for the BBQ Chicken Pizza which was fantastic, it was everything i expected and then some! The way the flavors synchronized into a tangy and savory dance made my tongue slap my brain out. But that wasn't it, then they hit me with a Canoli, and my god, i have never had one until that moment, and my mind was blown. I woulda parked the whole store's stock in my belly if i wasn't watching my calories haha. Staff was very professional and kind, and went above and beyond to meet my needs.

I got a cheese pie, pepperoni pie, stuffed meat pie, garlic knots, and a meatball hero to feed a crowd and everything was delicious, I had a bunch of very happy people. Also I loved the service both on the phone ordering and when I picked up in person. Everyone was so friendly and made sure they got the order right and nothing was forgotten.

Big fan of this restaurant and the friendly staff there! The food is always on point wether it's a quick slice for lunch or sitting in the back for my favorite penne vodka dish, made by the chef Roberto, for dinner. Recommend the buffalo chicken slice too.

The food is amazing! We were there recently when the new owners offered a complimentary buffet so that people could try the food. They provided chicken francese, rigatoni alla vodka, chicken parm, eggplant parm, meatballs and a garden salad. Each dish was delicious!. Kudos to Chef Roberto! We will definitely be frequenting this wonderful restaurant Best of luck to the new owners and their team.

Bella maria is the best italian pizzeria with a restaurant in it!!!!!!!! The chef FREDDY IS amazing not only a phenomenal cook but cooks with love. The waitress are great especially on Friday and Saturday night. Counter people are awesome too. go and try the pizza most of all the restaurant and dinners.

We are regulars at Bella Maria for dining in, and for take out. I have celiac disease and there are lots of gluten free options and I am never worried about getting sick. This past weekend we had a private event there and the staff showed hospitality and grace when serving our party of 30 plus some rowdy toddlers. Everyone repeatedly told me how delicious the food was. Needless to say we will continue to frequent Bella Maria for dining in and take out, and more private parties in the future.

Hello neighbors! I just have to share about a hidden gem right here in Coram—Bella Maria. After being blown away by the food at a friend’s party, we decided to cater with them for our own event, and they truly exceeded our expectations! The food was delicious, reasonably priced, and the team went above and beyond to accommodate an allergy in our family. They even split up certain dishes so my husband could enjoy safely, and offered off-menu items that were absolutely amazing. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about everything! Bella Maria even scheduled two deliveries—one for hot appetizers and another later for dinner—so everything arrived fresh and perfect. A big thank you to Erin for her careful attention to detail and making sure our celebration went so smoothly. We’ll definitely be using Bella Maria again for future parties and family dinners!

Don't order from GrubHub, many errors happened with ours. They seem nice and were quick to respond. The food is just what you'd expect, nothing fancy or outstanding, but definitely decent and satisfying.

I love the pizza there it’s my go to. For the first time I had their actual food. The problem is the penne ala vodka was tasteless. Literally zero flavor. Their pizza is amazing though!

I’ve been having a hard time since moving here from Queens finding a good slice of pizza. They have a good tasting slice, just wish the crust was a bit thicker. Sauce is really good too. The girl that took my order was very nice. I came when the place was empty but most people are at work right now and I’m off. Would like to try their Sicilian next.

Pizza was good, but nothing special. Not bad at all, but with a pizza place on every corner, you gotta stand out. Also expensive for what it is. They only deliver after certain times, but unfortunately I don't remember what times were said. Haven't had anything else so can't say anything about other items. The one thing I did not like was the delivery fee because I live in a different town technically. I'm on the border but that didn't matter I'd ha e to pay a fee on top of tip for a 5 minute drive for them. That I found to be silly.

Not bad food, but the two guys behind the counter couldn't figure out the POS system. Ended up charged almosy $14 for a granny slice, a bottle of lemonade, and a caesar salad slice. My fault for not looking at the receipt, but I was in a rush. Charged the much larger salad slice instead of the slice I got. Otherwise, not a bad local pizza place.

Bought our Christmas dinner from Bella Maria. Never again. manicott ..not enough for 5 people no extra sauce. Second dish was chicken not enough for 5 people. I expected better and more food for $120.00 I will not order pizza or food from you again.

It's a meh pizza place. Not a pizza place you go out of your way for. Pretty average local pizza. Only had 1 bad slice when I went in for an early lunch and hour before noon. Sadly I could tell from the look of the pizza on display that they were from the night before and they were going to heat it up for the early lunch walk ins like me. I was little annoyed but I had to eat quick so I still ordered a slice.

Under new ownership. My husband has tried the pizza, and enjoyed it, so we decided to have dinner here. The specials board outside said chicken cordon bleu, which is a favorite of my husband's. We sat in the empty restaurant in the back. It was a good 10 minutes before someone appeared with a menu, and another 10 minutes before a server asked for our drink order. By this time, 3 other tables were seated, including one of 8 people, and it was clear they were understaffed with 1 server. We were served a bread & butter basket. My husband ordered the chicken cordon bleu, and the server told him they didn't have any. That was a huge disappointment for him. He ended up ordering veal parmagiana. I ordered the chicken rollatini. Both dinners came with either a salad or pasta, I chose the salad, which was very good, with olives and roasted peppers. My husband's veal was a decent portion, veal was a little thick and tough. My chicken rollatini was on the bland side, the gravy was loaded with onions and mushrooms. The real disappointment was the dinners did not come with a vegetable or potato - just a plate of meat. The server was sweet and did the best she could under the circumstances of being by herself. Upon check presentation, she gave us complimentary cannoli, which was nice, and they were yummy.

Liked going here to eat in the dining room. The food was very good but unfortunately not the service. There is only one waitress on for the whole dining room. Be prepared to be there awhile.

Called in order at 5:21 PM. Was told 25 minutes. Picked up food at 5:48 . Came home in less than 10minutes . Chicken pops and pizza were room temp . Called to complain and was told if I don't come to pickup on time food wont be as hot . It's no big deal he said , was told to put it in my own oven . Customer service at it's best.

This place is down right shady. They had a young woman serve me liquor which is illegal. To top it off the entertainment of the night was witnessing the employees and owner ready to kill each other. It was like free movie night full of drama which led to cops being called. I was afraid to even think about asking for cheese!! Beware!! 🍕🍷

Everytime I go there it's the same thing..it takes forever to get anything.. told 20 minutes for a pie and its over an hour. The owner can't handle the business because he has nothing but little kids working the counter and he's rude to them.

I recently placed an order from Bella Maria's web site and was happy to find curbside pickup as an option, as I do not want to go in to stores at this time. I placed the order, and arrived at the curbside, approximately 20 feet from their front door. I called as instructed by the web site, and was told that they do not do curbside pickup. The man said that he did not have time. He did, however, have three minutes to explain that they "don't do that no more." I was unable to go in, and he refused to bring my order out. Had he elected to bring my order to my car, he would have spent less time and not lost a customer, as I will never patronize that restaurant again.

Ordered a pizza and calzone for delivery. Was told one hour. Called at 1 hour and 15 minutes. Without asking my address was told “No problem buddy, should be at your door any minute”. How’s that for polite? 10 minutes later it arrived. Delivery driver just said “sorry, I don’t make them, I just deliver”. (While smiling) Pizza cold, calzone cold. Not delivered in a pizza case to keep them hot. I Called and spoke to them. They offered to make new ones but said it would take at least an hour and s half to get it...... Or next time we could get 15% off. There won’t be a next time.

Sucks hostess and manager do not know how to seat people when the restaurant is 25% occupancy with 30 minutes left until closing. All you get is a song and dance about how they have a whole waiting list and everybody is going to come right now. If they had half a brain they would sit half the people that show up. Because after my family waited 15 minutes for a cancellation. Not one single person came and the place was still 25% occupied. Food is mediocre to New York standards, and if you're Italian forget about it!

The owner was very rude close to closing time. There are some great employees who I would go back to see but not while the owner was there. As for their pizza it isn't something to go out of the way for. It's a meh pizza place. Do yourself a favor find another place to go for better pizza.

Wow, what an experience. I have been coming to this restaurant for the last 4 years. Loved this place. They had so many dishes I loved. Now not so much. The new owners are tanking this place and they don't care if they lose customers. A few months ago I ordered clams and pasta. It was ehhh. Figured ok I won't order that there again. Last week ordered penne ale Rafael. And that was better. Still not the same but good. Today I ordered shrimp scampi and yuck. Not only are their prices very high but this was terrible. It was not a scampi sauce it was a lemon sauce that could not be swallowed because the lemon was so strong. And to top it off they added bread crumbs which if the dish was not ruined enough this made it horrendous. Worse, I complained thru the app I ordered it from and the restaurant pretty much said oh well and would do nothing to help with this expensive not edible food. So I called them to tell them my experience and how I'm not just a random customer i am someone who comes often and brings people there. But nope the owner decided to argue instead of make it better. Don't go to this place, it's not worth it. They don't care about their customers or having customers come back. They could have made this right a number of ways but instead they chose to loose a good paying customer. On to the next place.

This used to be a good place to go for a halfway decent slice, when you needed someplace close and quick. The new ownership cooks the pies in advance and keeps them below the counter. If you’re only going for a slice or two, you’ll get a stale, greasy slice that was cooked hours (who knows maybe days) in advance and reheated. Might as order from Dominos.

I ordered the stuffed mushrooms, homemade lasagna and rustic pasta, for delivery. No napkins or utensils. Pathetic. Am I in East New York or Port Jefferson - I can't tell. Good luck to this business. $60.00 with tip and no napkins or fork. Sooo effed-up.

So disappointed! I've been here 2 time's since the new owners took over and I have alway's gotten the caesar salad wrap previous owners and new, today I didn't see any chicken caesar salad wraps on display and I was told they make them fresh so I ordered to go. I get back to work open the bag and there is a chicken Caesar salad wrapped in some kind of plain pizza dough and not the herb crusted wrap that I fully expected and paid for. If a restaurant can't be consistent or be honest with the customers they they can't or won't make what your ordering. I use to go multiple time's a week in the past when my schedule allowed now I'll never go back.

They always close earlier when they’re supposed to and never wanna make money at night. They always seem to have a very nasty attitude after 7 o’clock there. I used to come here at least once a week but never again in my life lost a very loyal customer.

Have been frequently ordering from this place at least once every 2 weeks since every other pizzeria around the area has seemed to taken a nose dive and this place had some consistently decently good food. This all changed last night when I ordered a pie and me and my fiancé both got food poisoning. Called to let the staff know and see if they would refund the pie , lady on phone proceeded to basically tell me I was lying and that no other phone calls were made expressing what my concerns were. I explained I’ve been in the food industry for 13 years and it may not have been the sauce or cheese but cross contamination is a real thing. She offered me a free pie and I declined as we are both sick from last nights pie, she than told me she would not refund me since I expressed I would not be ordering from them again. I did not want to write this review but based off the attitude I received from what I presume is either the owner or manager I honestly feel the word needs to be spread. She also called me immature for stating I would write a review and made it clear that she could delete my review , well delete and I’ll post again.

BEWARE…. Ordered chicken parmigiana on their website and subtotal came to $24.50 plus tax $2.11 for a total $26.61. I go pick it up and I get charged $29.26. When I asked about the different prices I was told that I was being charged 4% for paying with a debit/credit card. When I got home and looked at my receipt it said subtotal $26.94 and tax $2.32 for a total of $29.26. Nowhere was there any additional charge, it just had two different subtotals and tax amounts? I think it would be really nice as well as transparent that they post that on their website. They also “automatically” add on a gratuity to your total when you place an order for pick up. Not sure why, I was not dining in or getting delivery. When I got home and looked at my receipt I would not have even bothered wasting my time to review them, but on top of all of that the chicken parmigiana was horrible. Small thin little strips of chicken that were tough and chewy. Looking forward to having a nice dinner, instead threw it away. P.S. before I wrote this review I glanced at the other reviews and was absolutely disgusted to see a review from four months ago with a picture of a roach in the customers food.

Went in there just to use the restroom and I was pretty polite considoring I was being forced to buy something and then got yelled at by some blonde lady who was very aggressive and instead of nicely telling me that it was a policy, she pretty much harassed me. I understand that there are policies and I respect that but do not be disrespectful towards someone who doesn't know. Lucky I didn't call the cops due to her violent outburst.

I work in a doctors office and we get lunches pretty often. One of the pharmaceutical reps that was doing our lunch gave the office manager a budget and allowed her to place an order for what we wanted. We have never had food from Bella Maria before and needless to say we won’t be going back. As I was eating my food I was going to cut my chicken and found a roach on my food I almost threw up when I saw it. We called the place and of course they apologized and offers to bring us a new tray of food which we didn’t take. We just wanted a refund. When there’s one roach there’s more and this place must be dirty for this to happen. Won’t be going back here again
