CLEAN! It was clean, staff were very friendly and talked to us. The order was exactly how we ordered it. Prices weren't bad, for the amount of food we bought. Definitely worth five stars, in my opinion.
This restaurant has made some changes for the better. We go almost weekly. Staff are usually friendly and thank goodness they have hired more people. Sandwiches are yummy...especially the tomato basil wraps with Turkey, bacon and avocado. Would recommend. 😃
This place has some bad reviews but I had a good experience. Everyone complains about slow service but look at where the town is!! It’s in the middle of nowhere. Anyway, it’s very quiet. My service was fast as I was the only one in there. They offer complementary small cookies to dine in customers. I’ve never had that at any other Subway. Good job, it’s the small things like that that leave a good experience. 👏🏼👏🏼

We live in Coleman and the Coleman subway is literally right down the road from us. I will DRIVE 30 minutes to cross plains just to eat at this subway because it’s so much better! Everything is always fresh and the best sandwiches 😍
It was nice and clean, it was also very updated and modernized, the bread was super soft and delicious, the only downside was the girl was alone with many oders
We just left so I hope the manager can look at the timestamp on this review and know who was working. The lady that took our order was incredibly patient and fast. We had a somewhat complex order with lots of custom requests for 4 different footlongs and she took care of all of it easily with a smile. To top it off 5 other customers came in behind us and she handled them all with the same speed and care, multitasking where it made sense to. She was the only person working and I was very impressed with her customer service. Please give her a raise. Workers like this don't come along often, especially in the franchise food industry. Also, the restaurant and bathrooms were super clean.

Food was good. My only concern is the young lady working that kept touching her face and nose. Glad she washed her hands before finishing my wrap.
I was there 20 minutes before closing & was trying to get specials. The little guy working all alone was very 👍🏽 nice...Thank you! There was a little confusion on one order I didn't make while on my phone. So some food my have got wasted some...

Tried their new garlic roast beef. It was delicious and just what was needed for our trip. Customer service was friendly but seemed board.
Food was good. My only concern is the young lady working that kept touching her face and nose. Glad she washed her hands before finishing my wrap.
Their sandwiches are “eh”, maybe “ok”..but service is so bad!! They are super slow and never properly staffed. I’ve tried calling ahead and get put on hold while they tend to the line they have in store and have never had them return to take my order, I have ALWAYS had to just hang up. The shortest time I ever waited on phone was 7 and a half minutes before I hung up. I can’t believe I’m even admitting to waiting on that long. I don’t know if they forget people are waiting on the phone or what. The staff does not care about the customers, they take their sweet time, worse so when they know they’re under staffed. I think they do that to have people leave so they don’t have to service them at all. The sandwiches have gotten way too expensive too. It’s not a place I recommend.

Never in my life have I ever been treated worse than I was today at this establishment. NEVER!! I manage the Roost in Rising Star and on my days off, I eat at Subway in Cross Plains. Amazing sandwiches. Usually the service is pretty good too. After today, and meeting GARY, I may never eat there again! When I walked in the door, apparently I interrupted whatever he was doing in the back room. Because waiting on me was an EXTREME INCONVENIENCE! I totally understand that everyone has bad days. So I tried to be nice and brag on the sandwich he had made for me and tried to brighten his day. But the level of rudeness I received in return was beyond uncalled for. I am just stunned that he is even employed at all. He should not be. As long as he works there, I will not go back. I'm still in shock. I have met some unruly people in my life, but Mr. Gary beats ALL I have ever seen in my 42 years of life.
Worst experience I have ever had! The manager was one that was helping us her name was Kira. She was very rude and acted as though she didn't even want us there. I did bring in a lot of teenagers but they were all very respectful to them and she did not return the behavior. The other girl who was helping her Micah she wasn't any better she acted like she was irritated that we were there as well and we were bothering them. They didn't have any bread except for flatbread and one other kind and seemed mad that we even asked for a different kind. To go there and spend the money that we spent to be treated the way we were was unacceptable. Obviously they don't want the business. I told them that I was sorry that we were a bother and they said that we weren't and then went behind the counter and started laughing about us and talking about us. It was just very disrespectful we will never go there again and I would highly recommend no one else going there either!
I have a family of 9 who was traveling back home from our lovely weekend. Not all of us were ordering, however we did all go inside when we areived. We ordered for the same sandwhiches and the sandwhich makers were rude the entire time to us. As we said something about the experience to the manager, she proceeded to go behind the counter ahere we couldn't see her and talked aboht us and laughed about our complaint. WILL NEVER STOP HERE AGAIN. I hope subway can get this figured put
I order from the app quite often and my order is NEVER right. It’s almost too much of a headache to even try to order from there. What should be a 5 minute in and out with my order experience turns out to be @the least half an hour to remake the order.
My family and I had a horrible experience here. I will never go here again. I will drive to the Subway in Eastland to avoid this Subway. Horrible service and was treated extremely rudely! You will wait in line for more than 30 minutes and be treated rudely.
Guess subway is the only place in cross plains that doesn’t have a phone or the employees don’t know how to answer it… this is the 3rd time I’ve called in the past 3 weeks and it rings goes to voicemail then when I redial it it’s automatically busy everytime after that.
