This place is great. The have reopened as a taqueria/Mexican food with a new owner. They are the sweetest people and the food is great. Their aqua fresca are the best. Watermelon, pineapple, cantaloupe, cucumber lime,mango, hibiscus and yes they do have horchata.

Highly recommend! Favorite place to eat! The owner is awesome! Food is amazing! So thankful they opened up!

One of my favorite places for breakfast I'm sure their lunch is just as good I stopped here every morning and get me a steak egg and cheese and potato burrito it is so heavenly the people up there are very nice and kind and they always get your food out in a jiffy I hope they stay open for a long long time. Don't let the little mom and pop hole in the wall scare you away cuz the food is made fresh and from good ingredients.

Ordered some burgers for the family. Very tasty burgers. Nice portion for a great price. Nicely flavored and juicy. Idk if it was the sweet tea or the ice, my drink tasted kinda funky. other then that it was really good! Will definitely come back to HOWDY! 😁

Ran upon this hidden gem and cant say enough good things about it. Not only is the employees the most courteous, pleasant mannered folks Ive ever seen, the place is always spotless and stocked. I ordered a cheeseburger tonight and fell in love, excited to try everything on the menu!! Highly recommend. I will definately be back multiple times!

It's definitely a hidden gem, I stopped in for lunch and I was not disappointed. Asada Taco are on point. I also got a breakfast burrito one morning afterwards and awesome. 💯 👍🏻

The next door app my Momma is in kept mentioning this place so here we are! It's actually a convenience store with a pretty good little kitchen. There is a daily chalkboard special to the right when you walk in. Monday's was two hotdogs with fries and a drink. I'd just had a hot dog so decided to try the cheeseburger. I subbed tots for fries for an extra charge. My meal also came with a drink. My mom had the chicken finger basket and also subbed tots. The burger was very good. A thin patty and the tots were perfectly cooked I didn't even have to say well done. The diet coke wasn't very good. Something with the settings on the fountain drink machine I suppose. The chicken fingers were tasty. Stephanie orders large chicken breasts and cuts them herself. They come with cream gravy and were also very good. Service was friendly and there was plenty of parking. Note - gas pumps are out of order and the chalkboard menu photo is out of date. They no longer serve catfish or fried okra.

THE best place for breakfast & lunch. Everything is home made and fantastic. Their hospitality is genuine and they love sending you on with a full stomach (Personal Favorite - Carne Asada Burritos with some of their home made salsa)

I went there the other day for some burgers and fries. Seems the burgers have changed, this time they were not that good. Like frozen patties. Last time they were really good. Fries were good.

Had the asada tacos..4 for $12 and some change... did not taste like asada strangely tasted like ham?, and the salsas both had no flavor. The people were nice though..

I've grown up in the area, store changed a lot. Used to be a big store but the cut half of it off. Took a peek at one of the closed off areas and the cashier loudy says across the store "There's nothing back there." Bad attitude, no gas, minimal food/snacks/drinks. Never going back.
