Stopped for breakfast on the way to Waco. Ordered hasbrowns, eggs and toast. Food came out quick and everything was tasty. The waitress was very pleasant .

WOW... It's been years since I had a chance to visit Waffle House.. this location in Cypress is an exceptional example of this chain... An absolutely perfect breakfast plate "made to your exact specification" in front of you in 5 minutes... The entire crew was friendly, courteous and pleasantly talkative. Well done.

I was compelled to speak on the man that shall be called Moses!! Impeccable service and hospitality. Welcoming, gracious, humble and accommodating. Food was tasty as well.....lol but Moses service is what I shall set the standard at, AND it should be the standard for all servers at the cypress mueschke location. Thanks moses

One of the better Waffle House experiences I can remember. Place was worn out and kinda dirty, but I think that’s to be expected. Arrived at 6am, and our server, Tamia, was close to the end of her shift. She was tired, but she did her best to tend to us. Once she left, though, we were forgotten about and we had to ask a few times for coffee and water refills. Overall good value.

Visiting Waffle House after being out of the South for a few months, and it was great! Plenty of parking, seated quickly, and the staff was super nice. I went with a group, and we got the All Star Special, Fiesta Omlette, and the Sausage/Egg/Cheese Grits Bowl (and they all were good). The experience lived up to the Waffle House name.

this was our first time at this location ... husband's waffle was thick and cooked to perfection. My waffle was thin and half cooked. Not sure why it wasn't consistent ... Service wasn't that great ... Had to ask several times for stuff, which should have been brought out after the first request. Don't recommend this location, although the location is nice and super clean inside. Just prefer the waffle to be cooked ...

Smothered, covered, diced and capped… this is completely upsetting. I’m home and waited a while for my order. I don’t eat pork or jalapeños. An hour wait, took me by surprise this Saturday. And they don’t answer when you to call because they don’t take to go orders. Great.

The waiter had no personality he'd didn't give eye contact. He didn't ever ask me if I would like a refill after we got are food. He then sat in the corner and did look at us and more even when we checked out. The waffle 🧇 I got with my meal was flat like a pancake and very dense. I would have rather had a eggo waffle they taste better than the one from waffle House.

Just asked for a “grilled ham and cheese”. Basically a grilled cheese sandwich with ham. Instead they gave me a toasted sandwich. In which way or form is that a “grilled” sandwich. They remade it twice and both times used a toaster. After the second time I just gave up asked for a Togo box, paid and left. Trash ahh sandwich. Apparently I was suppose to say I wanted a melt but I’ve been coming to Waffle House for years and have always ordered the way I did. Never once did I get a freaking toasted sandwich.

got literally nothing i ordered right. never eating here again forget it lol i ordered double hashbrown why would i get grits? i ordered scrambled eggs why would i receive them sunny side up and i paid for a drink i never got either. worst service

Don’t recommend coming here while night shift is working. The waitress is very “forgetful” and ruins the whole vibe with her attitude. We come here after a long day of work and have to feel bad for constantly having to remind her, then being told to wait while there’s only 1 or 2 other people. Just mediocre staff.

Stopped in thinking I’d get a quick bite and a little peace. Should’ve known better. Waited twenty minutes before anyone even looked my way, and when they finally did, it felt like I’d interrupted something important—like ignoring customers was a team sport. Food came out cold, coffee tasted like it had been reheated since the Reagan era, and the server vanished faster than my appetite. I’ve had better hospitality from gas stations at 2 a.m. The only thing hot in that place was my regret.

Everything was good until this guy I believe (he was the manager) tried to accuse me of lying stating “he personally put my steak in the bag” when indeed he did NOT! He clearly needs to get a new pair of glasses! I wouldn’t have drove 20 minutes BACK to Waffle House alll the way from my house if my food was all there (mind you I spend over $40 on this bs!) When I went to go pick up my food it was PACKED which is why I could see how that mistake could happen, but again it wasn’t an issue until he intervened and tried to put his little two cents in and was WRONG! Someone was already resolving the issue a younger gentleman who even asked me to bring the bag in and checked everything was there aside from the steak! He didn’t even apologize and had everyone staring at me for expressing my anger especially when being accused of lying. Even if he didn’t SAY it that’s what he was trying to imply and I did not appreciate that humiliation!!! I wish I could’ve gotten his name but he has horrible customer service and was walking around smiling like nothing happened. I honestly don’t even waste my time on bad reviews only good ones but the way he left a bad taste in my mouth as I left and made me want to express how he made me feel!

I love Waffle House, so I am extremely disappointed to write this review at a 1 star. Monday at 10:30 pm I walked in and was immediately greeted. I sat down at the bar because all the booths were dirty, the server did not even think about wiping down the bar where I was sitting. Unfortunately I had to do it myself. I ordered a patty melt with no bacon, hashbrowns and a waffle with blueberries and pecans. The cook accidentally added bacon and instead of making a whole new patty melt decided to just take off the bacon and still serve it to me. (I don't eat pork, so this is a huge contamination issue, luckily I am deciding not to blow it up). The patty melt was overcooked and the bread was almost burnt, the hashbrowns were average. The waffle to my surprise was actually disgusting I believe they used blueberry syrup instead of real blueberries and way to much waffle batter. All this would have been easier to fathom had I received respectable service and the restaurant was at a bare minimum clean. My server disappeared and I had to ask to check out and when I did was told that "I needed to wait for my server to create the check." I asked for a manager of course there wasn't one on staff at the time. Who makes a customer wait to pay that's just crazy I should have left, but I am a respectable human. I paid, left a tip and kindly gave the server my review once she returned 20 minutes later. This was the worst Waffle House experience I have EVER had at ANY Waffle House, usually this location is pretty good. First time I've not finished my plate at a Waffle House.
