My girlfriends and I stopped in on yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. We had an excellent server, the atmosphere was a little loud but it was friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent. Guacamole was made at the table and was so good with the hot chips. We ordered margaritas which were good but we thought they could have a little more liquor to the drinks since none of us got a buzz and usually we get a buzz when we have one drink! Other than that, I would highly recommend. and We will be back but will order an extra shot!

Love this place! Literally there every Tuesday. Just went on a Saturday! They have happy hour every day from 10:30am-4pm for drinks! Even food happy hour but it’s to 3:30. Drinks are good! Food is Authentic! Guacamole is to die for! I love it! Presentations are everything and they got it! It’s a new Restaurant. Servers are nice, food is great, I hope it doesn’t change with time.

My coworkers introduced me to this nice restaurant. The atmosphere was nice, friendly staff, and the food was great. They have a large menu I need to work through 💯. My only gripe is people with obvious body odor being allowed in which disturbs other patrons (smelling like weed).

If you want to try an autentic moma home made you should try this La cocina de mama and 100% sure you will be not disappointed. All plates are super, the crew member awesome they trattoria you as part of your family.

It was my very first time eating here, I went with my friend to celebrate my birthday. The mango margarita was amazing, I had it without alcohol. Their enchiladas rojas were amazing super good not spicy at all, guacamole was a bit salty but overall super good. Their pico de gallo or salsa and chips were perfect! Their customer service was amazing. The restaurant super clean, the tables clean and neat. Nice decor, their birthday dessert super delicious! Plenty of parking. The wait time was about 10- 15 minutes. I would definitely come back.

Perfect dinner! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff went above and beyond—attentive without being overbearing, and so genuinely kind. Christian was amazing, always around and there if you needed anything. Now, the food was absolutely outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. You can tell the chef puts so much passion into the menu, using fresh, high-quality ingredients. My personal favorite was the homemade chipotle sauce that they put on the fries, perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection! This is the kind of place that makes you want to come back again and again. Whether for a casual night out or a special occasion, La Cocina De Mama truly delivers an unforgettable dining experience. Highly recommend!

For my first visit to this restaurant, I just have to say that the atmosphere is nothing short of top tier! From the food to the drinks to the staff, everything about La Cocina De Mama is truly exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, and their kindness and attentiveness really made the experience unforgettable. The food and drinks were flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with love. You can tell they take pride in every detail. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to everyone I know!

Starting with the customer service, excellent! Dalia our server was very friendly, the food was soooooooooo goooooood! The homemade corn tortillas.....WOW! Food was seasoned very well, Chips served warm with fresh salsa 😋. I will definitely will be back.

This is one of my favorite newest Mexican spots. This is the fourth time that I’ve been there within the last five months. Every time has been a very pleasant experience and the service is always nice. Everyone is always friendly. I have not had to wait, normally when we walk in the door, they’re seating us immediately even if it’s a lot of people. Unlike a lot of other Mexican restaurants I like the fact that they bring out a sombrero for patron’s birthday and sing to them A birthday song. I also like the chips and salsa. I love it when the chips are temperature hot. I like it that they give you two options of sauce, the green sauce and the red sauce. Overall, this is one of my top Mexican spots in the area. Check them you want be disappointed!

From when you walk inside the door they greet you with a welcoming experience. The service is amazing making sure you have what is needed and making sure the food is to perfection. They come around constantly asking how everything is. The restaurant itself is cozy and cute. Drinks and food were delicious! Definitely coming back

Always on point — creative, refreshing, and made with care. Definitely one of my favorite spots! The owner and his son are amazing. My favorite server Is Leoni, she always encourages to try new things.

We visit for a birthday party. The food was good, the dessert as we'll. A bit to pricey, but we had a very nice time. Authentic Mexican food. I loved the queso birria tacos.visited to celebrate a birthday party and overall had a really nice experience. The atmosphere was welcoming and made it a great place to gather and celebrate. The food was very good, and you can definitely taste the authentic Mexican flavors in each dish. Everything was well-prepared and flavorful. The desserts were just as delicious and a perfect way to end the meal. Although the prices were a bit on the higher side, the quality of the food and the overall experience made it worthwhile for a special occasion. One of my favorite items was the queso birria tacos — they were absolutely amazing, full of flavor, and cooked perfectly. I would definitely order those again. We all had a great time and enjoyed celebrating there.

Visited for a quick bite. Order 3 flavorful shrimp tacos and a tasty fish taco. Order a blackberry margarita don julio respasado based. Amazing 🍸 The fresh chips and salsa to start was equally as great. Service was good. Will plan to visit on tge near future. The space is outfitted with multiple television monitors for watching sports.

GIRLS NIGHT OUT 2025! I took my girls out this weekend here. We love Mexican food. The food here comes out huge and it tastes great as well only thing we wished it was more spicy we love the spice. The drinks was ok as well only thing wish the spirit was refilled not can. Other than that this place is very cute and cozy with grew food. The servers are handsome and attentive my girls loved the service will be back with my friends and man.

I decided to go visit this place since I was choose Chicago locations for authentic Mexican food but I seen this restaurant on TikTok and I stay 8 min away. Service was great the young owner son I believe was very kind and out waiter as well but I did not like the seasoning in my chilaquiles sauce was not flavorful or spicy and my eggs were salty but I didn’t even want to bother complaining since they were very nice my husband received a big dish of food which is a guisado and only 3 very tiny tortillas was given to him it’s the first time we ever experience a small quantity. The presentation is great but for a real Mexican flavor was not its best.

Very disappointed with my takeout experience. No tortillas, no utensils, no napkins, nothing included to actually eat the meal. The presentation was sloppy, with rice thrown on top and beans spilling in the container. For a restaurant with such high ratings, I expected much better attention to detail. Please double-check orders before sending them out.
