Heroes is a vibe. The live band was nice. I like that the DJ mixes the music 🎶 so you get a variety of 🎶. Hookah is available for $40. The rum punch is the real deal. They have a back patio where you can step out and get fresh air. The food always hit! Try everything! I'm sure you won't regret it! Saturday are fully active. Sunday is my very chill, which I like. Step out with a friend or alone and give Heroes Lounge a try.
First Visit — Definitely Coming Back! We came through for fight night (Jake Paul vs. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.), and the energy was perfect — TVs, chill crowd, and an unbeatable vibe. The music was 🔥 all night — a great mix of genres with a strong NYC influence that had one of us (from NY) fully locked in, especially with the blend of heavy NY tracks and Caribbean classics. The food was next level. The oxtails are the real deal, and I had the curry shrimp and rum cake — I’m still thinking about that dessert! Service was great — no long waits, super attentive staff, and the overall atmosphere was perfect. Whether folks were there as couples, with friends, or solo, everyone was just vibing and having a great time. Whether you’re local or just visiting Dallas, Heroes Lounge is a must. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a fun, laid-back spot with great energy.
I was here on a Saturday night with a party 🕺🏾🕺🏾🎶 of 8 . Service was a 5/5 . Waitress was friendly and attentive. You also had a hostess that walked the floor to help with customer service and satisfaction. Atmosphere : definitely 💯 has a Jamaican vibe with a mixture of DJ and live music 🎶 Both the DJ & Band was a 5/5. Food : I ordered the vegetarian brown stew tofu dish the overall taste was an 4/5 the presentation was an 5/5 , they give you plenty of food. Side dish of plantains was perfectly balanced 5/5. My husband ordered the Veggie patty , wait time was over 30 min just to be told they were out of pineapples 🍍 😔 that was the main topping for the veg burger 🍔 patty . Overall he didn’t like the taste of the veg patty as it was soft in texture and lacked the overall carribean flavor. The rest of the party ordered meat dishes such as jerk wings , Rasta pasta , and thoroughly enjoyed their dishes each one gave a 4/5 to 5/5. Dress code : casual - casual - jeans 👖 - polo 👕 👚 - t shirts- or grown & sexy - basically whatever you choose. Hookah section outside. Parking 🅿️: get there early ! Parking lot is spacious but fills up quickly. They also TOW at nearby businesses so be careful on where you park. Cover fee : 💰💰 free B4 9pm 🕘. Reservations: made online and was well accommodated at 7pm upon our arrival. Staff : friendly Drinks : $1.00 well shots - plenty of Jamaican drinks $10-15 - drinks are strong 💪🏾 😂 overall taste was average lacked distinctive flavor

Everyone needs to try the nachos. OMG! It was delicious. Food was so tasteful. My husband was so happy with his experience. He was making plans to come back before we even left the building. Our waitress Latoya ( hope i spelled it right) she was amazing and so sweet. Great customer service. This place needs a 10 stars.
Heroes tun up! Truly enjoyed the vibe of the staff and the customers. DJ and the band was my favorite part. Oxtail was exceptional! Authentic rum punch and the service was perfect.

Located right behind the American Airlines arena - great food - walked to the game after - would do again
This meal is truly incredible! The Heroes Three The Hard Way brings together an array of mouthwatering flavors. Imagine savoring the bold, spicy notes of jerk and curry chicken, alongside the succulent, tender oxtails. And let’s not forget the delightful sides of rice and peas, complemented by fresh house vegetables. It’s a delightful culinary adventure served right on your plate!

Nice time. Went on ravage night. Nice dj, live band earlier in the day with caribbean food. The only complaint was the restrooms they were not well maintained and falling apart.
Been here a couple times. It’s cool. Waitresses are very nice. The food is good, but it can be overpriced. I ordered a slice of rum cake and it is $8. They sent me a sliver and I was very disappointed (see pic below and you be the judge.) My friend also said the fish and fries were very salty and over seasoned. I did enjoy the wings cause they were extra spicy and the drink was good as well. I’ll probably be back at some point, though!
The food is good! We got there around 530 and ordered from the bar. Nice Caribbean music played in the background while we enjoyed our food and drinks. While we were waiting on the rest of the food…
Every time I visit my cousins in Dallas from Maryland I always say let’s go to heroes to get them ranch rings and the fried catfish!! They’re soooo good! Well honey… we went last night 7/20/25 with excitement. & the food was trash at best. We ordered the usual and the fries were old and cold. The wings were hot but they tasted like they were old and just refried and had ZERO ranch seasoning on it. Then last time we got the catfish they were TWO big pieces of cat fish and was seasoned well. This time? They gave us two TINY ends of the catfish. Was not fresh and didn’t have any seasoning and they put a random wing in there. Once again cold fries. Our server didn’t bring water until we got our drinks and food. The drinks was decent. We ended up getting the pasta instead. I thought the shrimp would’ve been jerked but it wasn’t. The pasta was oily, barely any peppers or onions. The “garlic bread” HA that’s laughable. It just was a waste of money and time tbh. So disappointed. One of my favorite stops is now no longer a stop when I visit Dallas from the DMV.
I recently placed an online order for goat curry and chicken curry to go from Heroes Island Cuisine Lounge, and my experience was quite mixed. Firstly, upon arrival, I was unexpectedly patted down before entering the establishment, which I found rather unusual and off-putting. Inside, there was loud live music playing, which added a vibrant, albeit loud, atmosphere. Moving on to the food, I was disappointed with the portion size considering the price. For a $22 goat curry box, I expected a more substantial meal, including rice and beans and plantains. Instead, it came with just plain white rice and a side of cabbage. The goat curry itself was too salty for my taste, and I did not enjoy my meal. My wife, who is from a Caribbean country, also found her chicken curry lacking in curry flavor, which was quite surprising and disappointing given the cuisine’s heritage. Overall, I would not recommend Heroes Island Cuisine Lounge based on this experience.
Edit: The music is just too loud... we couldn't enjoy ourselves fully because of the music and the voice box the singer was using... we come to eat and leave before the band gets there... I go on Fridays for the buffet... sometimes the food is really good, and sometimes it's not. You have to get there when it's fresh... the chef is an amazing cook... the drinks are strong as well... the first plate we got, the food was burnt and overcooked... maybe from being in the burners... but when the chef brought out the fresh food, it was so delicious...
Be careful w the drinks; I'm very sensitive about what I drink. I ordered a specific tequila and I don't think that was % what was in the bottle. I know exactly what I can drink and the taste. Not …

I know it’s been years since me & my husband been here, we went for his birthday weekend. We made the best of the situation. I got sick threw up. Had 1 shrimp and it literally came back up immediately. Even though it’s cold , inside was extremely loud, smells rancid and old on the inside. My waitress was barely around. Drinks were good but i would say that’s the only good factor … it was packed years ago for it to be empty now. The food is old i wouldn’t come back here. I was really sick for days after.
The oxtails were DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!!!!! The cabbage and plantains were good. Service was great…. Drinks were watered down but it was $1 happy hour drinks so that was expected. Overall experience not bad. But I will never eat there again
Food is presented beautifully but is absolutely terrible. Food came COLD. Cabbage was very buttery. Oxtails were greasy & tasted like BBQ or bottled sauce. Rice and peas were OK. Am very disappointed. Drinks were also watery. Service was trash, she gave us the food & disappeared & tried to give herself a 20% tip at the end.
9/25/25 There was a fly in my rum punch. It didn’t simply land in the glass. I went to take my first sip and spit out what I thought was a piece of fruit—only to find that it was a huge house fly that had came up my straw—this leads me to believe it was already in the big jug dispenser they mix the drink in. Prior to this visit, I had been coming for years—since way before they moved from the last location. But this past year, the service has gotten worse each time. I won’t be back, and it sucks because it used to be an amazing place that hosted so many great events over the years.
The worst food. I got THREE pieces of burnt oxtail for over $40 a complete ripoff!! No gravy the sauce and meat was literally just BLACK and oily. Even the bone was burnt blavk. I will never be ordering from here again, what a joke. If you order carryout PLEASE check your food before you leave never they have me straight garbage!
