What a treat 😋 We are in town for a conference and are looking for some seafood places to go. This place is outstanding, the food was delicious, and our server Molly was awesome. We sampled a few things, and everything we had was amazingly delicious... especially the oysters.

Husband and I were here for Valentine's dinner. First time to visit and everything, I mean, everything, was spectacular!! W.O.W doesn't even come close! We could not believe it. We had old fashioned drinks, oysters, shrimp scampi, Texas blackened red fish, herb crusted rainbow trout, key lime pie & big chocolate cake. The desserts were so good we couldn't decide which was best! Raven, the waiter, was awesome too. We WILL be back no doubt!

First time here, lived everything about it. Service, drinks, food, and dessert were great. The smoked salmon was great. The patio was really nice as well. Would recommend making a reservation, we were able to be seated right away because of it. Our server was the best! Lover's will be added to our rotation!!! Highly recommend.

I was not expecting to write a 5 star review of a seafood restaurant in Dallas. The highlight and the reason for the 5 stars is the grilled smoked salmon. I’ve never had a more delicious piece of salmon in my life. Tender and flaky yet full of smoky flavor. I substituted for the brussel sprouts as my side - and man what a great call. They were so good and charred and flavorful. Of the appetizers I really enjoyed the curry lobster. The oysters were nice and fresh. The ahi tower was pretty basic. Of the deserts the winner was the blueberry bread pudding. I had high hopes for the cobbler and the chocolate cake. Both were good if that’s what you’re feeling - but nothing you’ll remember later.

Hey this place is great. First time going there and I'm mad I haven't been there sooner. U can tell the food is top notch. The decor Inside is peaceful and inviting. It is a little pricey but I think it was worth every dollar. They have live music on Saturdays and Sundays for lunch. There is no parking just Valet but it is free so that is helpful. We had Hailey and we ordered everything she recommended. She did not let us down.

4 Stars for the service, I thought the food was delicious. The portions are on the smaller size. My father got the Gumbo which wasn’t too good but this isn’t a place that I would order that. The oysters were nice and fresh as well as the food. The dessert I think was the best part. The cocktail menu had various great options and the atmosphere was very good. The sauce for the fish and chips was delicious one of the best I’ve had. I would think the service would be top tier for the price you pay but there were times when our drinks were completely empty or we were ready to order another cocktail. It was valet only when I went n a weekday at night.

This was our second visit, once last summer for dinner and then this April for lunch. I’m a longtime fan of Kenth Rathbun’s restaurant concepts and returned mainly for the updated version of lobster shooters in the lobster spoons. I literally could drink the curry in the spoons and the fried lobster bites are always perfect! We also ordered two salads - the wedge and the Lovers salad. They were an idea size for lunch and we would’ve left then, however, we were tempted with a dessert menu. We couldn’t agree and had a full out debate on the dessert in front of the server resulting in her bringing us both the key lime pie and the apple cobbler! While we were waiting for dessert, my partner spotted the Pappy Van Winkle on the bar and opted for a taste. The food and whiskey were outstanding, as expected. Highly recommend for anytime of the day.

We finally tried this restaurant and ordered the mahi mahi fish tacos. They were a bit dry, but the fish and chips were delicious. Definitely be back to try some more dishes.

The Truth

Tried Lovers Seafood for the very first time and I wasn’t disappointed. The waitress and staff were super friendly. The food was excellent! I give the food a 8.7 out of 10 the service a 10. If you’re ever in the Dallas area come check this place out!

What a delicious experience! Let’s start with cons, which aren’t that many. Hated the parking situation. That’s typical of Lovers Lane restaurants though. And the restaurant is overly crowded. I don’t know if it’s the spacing of the tables but there are too many customers in a confined space. Now, onto the fun pros. The FOOD! And service! Everything we got was amazing: gumbo, salad, blackened fish, red beans and rice (sans rice). And the cute popcorn basket (instead of bread) was such a great southern touch. Our waitress was also so attentive and lovely. I wouldn’t mind coming back here next time I visit.

1st time here. Valet, patio dining if you like. We sat inside. Nice decor. Service was good. Slow on drink refills though and follow-up at end. Food!! 1st the popcorn idea is fun! It's like a lime old bay seasoning? Totally recommend coconut shrimp. It's like the Firecracker shrimp. Super yummy. Smoked Salmon delicious. What they say is medium cook on salmon is more like medium rare...I would have like a little more cook on it. Mac n cheese was creamy and noodles cooked right but needs more cheese. Lemonade was made in-house needed just a bit more sugar as it was slightly twingy tart.

For the price tag of around $50 a person, the place lacks in atmosphere. The restaurant is overcrowded and cheaply decorated. They put us in a covered patio that had poor isolation from the winds in 40F weather. The gusts of wind were blowing the plastic curtains and a cheap tarp that was covering the roof. Without a heater it would simply be unbearable. Parking lot is very small so their valet is the only way to park. Lovers’s valet is severely understaffed and unprofessional. The impression was that it was their first day in the job for those 2 parking attendant. We stood in a cold for at least 10 minutes waiting for them to shuffle 3 cars.

A Mixed Experience: Outstanding Food, Concerning Service Issues I don't typically write negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share this experience in hopes it leads to positive change. We visited Lovers Seafood & Market for the first time. Upon requesting outdoor seating, we were told no tables were available and the host needed manager permission. Walking through, we noticed approximately 10 empty patio tables. As the only guests with melanated skin tone in the restaurant, this felt uncomfortable. Inside, we experienced unusual service delays and multiple server changes before finally receiving consistent service. We were told our initial server was "having a meltdown" and dealing with personal issues. While we're sympathetic, the pattern of events left us wondering if something else was at play. The positive: Our final server deserves ALL the praise—professional, sweet, kind, and incredibly nice. She was brave enough to step up and serve us with genuine warmth when others hesitated. She gets 10 stars ✨and exemplifies what hospitality should be. The food was outstanding, and the valet was amazing. My hope: Never judge guests based on appearance. Kindness costs nothing. I'd happily invite management to volunteer with my organization, where we sponsor 21 schools—teaching that very lesson about not judging others because they don’t look like you, but treating everyone the same; as God sees us all; despite upbringing and perceived financial status. I hope this feedback helps Lovers Seafood & Market serve all guests with equal warmth and respect.
