The Women for WineSense Dallas chapter used Kuby's deli food for our recent German wines monthly event. We worked with Jerry who was very helpful to advise us on what appetizers, sides, mains, and desserts to select, and the quantities for each. He was nice enough to deliver, which really helped since our event was not close to their deli. Everyone commented on how good the food was! I highly recommend Kuby's for your German food catering needs.

Down home little German diner. Breakfast and lunch. They have authentic German fare. Things I had never tasted before. Germans fix their food different. It sounds familiar but it is all German recipes. You got to go try this place.

Classic Dallas breakfast spot. Nothing too crazy but always really great food and great prices and reliable. Amazing atmosphere as well. Perfect for a Saturday morning brunch spot Pick up some of their bagel chips and pimento cheese on the way out… so good.

The sausages are great and the schnitzel was amazing. We love the deli where you can pick from a selection of German lunch meats, sausages and meats. Its pricy and we end up buying way too much, because dallas is not so close to where we live so we dont come here often. I wish there were more options in the dfw area, but we are grateful for kubys!!

This place has great sausage. Some of the best sausage I have ever had. You can get a three sausage plate with kraut and German potatoes salad for 15 bucks. I highly recommend.

This place is such a hidden gem. The chicken salad is probably the best in Dallas and the shrimp salad was great as well. Its a must try!

Kuby's sausage House is one of my preferences not only out to eat for breakfast, lunch or dinner but for grocery shopping. I found a lot of different assorted items such as candy, meat, vegetables and other things imported from Germany, best of all, it was at at a great price of only $8 for the make it yourself breakfast.

The lunch special Curry Wurst Bites was yummy. The curry sauce tasted like 85% ketchup and 15% barbecue sauce with a hint of curry flavor, and it went well with the fries on the bottom. We also tried the Schnitzel. The fried pork chop reminded of Japanese katsu, very well done. The gravy and sides were outstanding, too. The service was efficient. From sitting down to paying, it only took 45 minutes or so. Great place for a quick hearty lunch.

We didn't eat in the restaurant this time. We shopped in the store where the selection is plentiful. The butcher counter also offers a lot of different cuts. All fresh and high quality. The cold cuts and sausages are highly recommended. The fine brats are a favorite of mine.

We recently had Kuby’s cater our Oktoberfest party, and it was an absolute hit! From the moment the food arrived, our guests were raving about the authentic flavors and incredible quality. The sausages were perfectly seasoned, the schnitzel was crispy and delicious, and the sides tied everything together just like a true Bavarian feast. The catering menu was not only plentiful but also beautifully presented—everyone went back for seconds (and thirds!). It truly made the night feel festive and authentic. The entire experience, from ordering to delivery, was seamless, and the staff made it easy to bring Oktoberfest to life right in our backyard. If you’re planning a party or just craving incredible German food in Dallas, look no further than Kuby’s. We’ll definitely be coming back again and again!

I tried Kuby's German Meat Market and Grocer in Dallas, Texas yesterday for lunch. I had the hot pastrami sandwich which was great. The restaurant is open 7am-2:30pm Monday-Saturday and the grocery store is open 7am-6pm Monday- Saturday. Being in Snyder plaza close to SMU Kuby's is frequented by college visitors, administrators and students.

Most efficient lunch place I’ve ever been to, lovely service. Wine, soup, and Schnitzel with mushroom gravy were great. The sides fell a little flat as they were soft (beets, mustard potatoes) but maybe that’s how German food is. Would go again, and plan a nice nap after lunch and don’t forget to check out the attached market!

A second visit is definitely needed. I came here looking for amazing sausages and I left very happy. Tried four different types and each one was packed full of flavor. They had fresh lemonade and tea which were quite nice. Their prices were average for Dallas. Staff were friendly and service was fast. Overall this place had some tasty sausages and even more I didn’t get to try yet.

If you are craving authentic German food, you are going to love Kubys. This quaint restaurant offers many German staples like sausages and schnitzel. I had the pork schnitzel that comes with a side of mushroom gravy, warm German potato salad, and red cabbage. The food was excellent, and the portions are generous. Staff is friendly

lived in Germany for three years, and walking into Kuby’s German Market instantly brought me back—it was such an amazing experience! The selection of traditional German foods is authentic and extensive. The sausages were absolutely delicious, just like I remember from my time overseas, and the frozen German pretzels (imported directly from Germany) were fantastic. It’s rare to find a place that captures the true taste and feel of Germany, but Kuby’s nails it. I’ll definitely be coming back here all the time!

If you’re looking for authentic German food in Dallas, Kuby’s Sausage House is the place to go! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with the delicious aroma of freshly made sausages and baked goods. The atmosphere is cozy and traditional, making it feel like a little slice of Germany right in the heart of Texas. What Makes Kuby’s Special: ✔ Amazing Sausages & Meats – Their house-made bratwurst, knackwurst, and weisswurst are top-notch and packed with flavor. Whether you’re dining in or picking some up from the deli, you won’t be disappointed. ✔ Authentic German Dishes – Their schnitzel, sauerkraut, and potato pancakes are some of the best I’ve had outside of Germany. Pair it with a side of mustard, and you’re in for a treat! ✔ Great Breakfast & Lunch Spot – The Reuben sandwich and corned beef hash are personal favorites, and their breakfast menu is just as fantastic. ✔ Friendly Service & German Hospitality – The staff is knowledgeable and welcoming, always happy to recommend dishes or help with selections from the deli. ✔ European Market & Bakery – Beyond the restaurant, Kuby’s also has a great selection of German groceries, fresh bread, and imported goods—perfect for taking a little bit of Germany home with you. It can get busy during peak hours, but it’s absolutely worth the wait. Whether you’re here for a hearty meal, authentic German sausages, or specialty grocery items, Kuby’s is a Dallas institution that should be on every food lover’s list!

Really great. Probably the best Ruben I’ve ever had. The review I read before going said something about light heavy food and that’s such a great description. I had so much sausage and a decent sized sandwich with fries and a bier but didn’t feel miserable walking out. Definitely overate but couldn’t stop and didn’t feel like trash the rest of the day. The prices were very reasonable I thought too, only like $3.50 to add additional sausages which made it hard to say no to trying more. We have already made plans to go back next week and bring friends with us. They have a cool shop area with lots of meats and other fresh things along with a German market type store area. It looks like they do wild game processing too, definitely would look into that if we were not so far! Service was great, they all seemed to work together to make sure you weren’t waiting for anything too long at all. Would have liked more sauerkraut with the sausages, didn’t seem to be as much as the rotkraut side we got quantity wise, but it was good and we seriously couldn’t get enough. Definitely try this place if you like lighter German food. Phenomenal lunch spot.

Heard of this place for years. I was finally able to go this past Saturday and was not disappointed. I had the Reuben sandwich, which was very tasty. Tried a variety of sausages, and the apple strudel was a great ending. The store has a variety of meats and goodies. I was very pleased and will come again.

Hello, I’m originally from Germany, and this is my go-to place to restock many of the items I grew up with. It really gives me a bit of that “home” feeling. I especially love the butcher section — everything from the butcher has been excellent. I’ve eaten at the restaurant twice and ordered the schnitzel both times. Unfortunately, it was very disappointing. The schnitzel was extremely dry and honestly the worst I’ve had so far — and I’ve had many in my life to compare it to. The red cabbage was overcooked on both visits as well. I haven’t tried the other menu items yet, and what I saw on other tables didn’t look very appealing either. Sorry, but no sorry. I’ll definitely continue coming for the grocery and butcher sections, but most likely won’t return to the restaurant. Gruß Daniel

Decent place, good German place for Dallas. The Potato salat was very nice, I appreciated the thin-sliced potatoes in it and the spices. Sausages were great quality. My only wish is that the sauerkraut was more sour, but I understand having it more mild for a general audience. I tried my brother's Ruben and my gosh it was amazing. The rye was powerful, and corned beef surprisingly spiced which isn't common but it paid off. I'd definitely get that if I came again over my sausage plate.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4 stars) A Must-Visit German Gem in DFW—with Room to Polish the Experience While recording several episodes of The Whiskey Trip in the DFW area, my wife and I made it a point to stop by Kuby’s Sausage House—and I’m glad we did. The store instantly transported us back in time, especially for my wife, who spent part of her childhood in Germany. With her mom being from the old country, walking through the aisles filled with German delicacies felt like a homecoming. From fresh bratwurst, mettwurst, and weisswurst to ring bologna and deli meats, the options were nearly overwhelming. We loaded up our cart with all the classics—German mustards, red cabbage, sauerkraut, and plenty of goodies for the mother-in-law. Then came the restaurant experience. A short wait, and we were seated quickly. I ordered the schnitzel with hot German potato salad, red cabbage, and sauerkraut. The schnitzel was well-prepared, though the gravy was missing the mushrooms I typically expect with this dish. The red cabbage was too sweet for my taste, but the sauerkraut and potato salad were excellent. My wife had the sausage sampler plate and enjoyed every bite—except for the overly sweet red cabbage (and trust me, she knows her red cabbage; she makes it homemade!). There were a few letdowns, though. First, why sell authentic German mustard in the store but serve generic brown mustard in the restaurant? That’s a missed opportunity. Second, no brotchen on the menu—but they’re in the store? Come on. And lastly, our waitress was visibly frustrated and curt when asked basic questions about the food. Thankfully, another waitress stepped in and saved the experience with a helpful and kind attitude. All in all, Kuby’s is worth the visit for the cultural experience and quality of food and products. With just a bit more attention to service and consistency between store and restaurant, it could be truly exceptional. – Mike “Big Chief” Hiatt Host, The Whiskey Trip Podcast

Super delicious food! Pictured is the breakfast croissant! 🥐 Sadly did not have time to get to look around the store, will have to come back again. Also did not get a photo of what others ordered, it was too delicious for everyone not to dig in right away.

I had the potato pancakes (not pictured that were very good). Pictured is the Schnitzel with mushroom gravy with potato salad and red cabbage. It was good, but as in most German food was not a flavor bomb. I would certainly come back and try other items. The service was really good and the atmosphere was very traditional. They were packed in a smaller dining room so that is a very good sign. You should check it out.
