Amazing crafted cocktails and jazz music. Atmosphere is phenomenal. Arrive early for a seat or table.
Found my new favorite cafe bar today!!! As a working grad student who loves coffee, I struggle to find good places where I can both study and relax that are open after work hours. I found Triumphs Espresso & Whiskey today and am in love. Finally another coffee and bar place that stays open late (midnight on Fri and Sat, will be extending more of the nights to midnight as well, they said) and has Wi-Fi and decent seating for studying or socializing. With both indoor and outdoor (covered) seating, there are plenty of options. Menu doesn’t have a lot of options, but the options they have are good. Got the salmon bagel for lunch from daytime me it and tacos for dinner (from evening menu) and both were delicious. Great coffee and alcohol options, including seasonal menus. And friendly service. They even have live music (jazz) on the weekends. Will definitely be back very soon — anticipate this being a new go-to place for me!
Today, I had a great experience at Triumphs Espresso & Whiskey. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting. I tried the Triumph Martini, which was tasty, and the Pinot wine, which was also good. However, I found the Blueberry Mule to be terrible. While the drinks were enjoyable, the prices were a bit high. Overall, it was a lovely visit with delicious options and a welcoming vibe.
UPDATED: I previously wrote about an issue I had with Triumphs' valet service. Management listened to the issue of its customers and has since corrected their parking issue, as well as offered their sincere apology of which I am very grateful for. The management of this establishment are incredibly kind and caring people who were willing to help me out in my situation, which I truly appreciated. Regarding the actual restaurant, the food, atmosphere, and music were all wonderful! I ordered a biscoff latte and grilled cheese and both were absolutely delicious! The fun and exciting vibes of the restaurant were unmatched, and I love how they had outdoor games for people to use. The restaurant was a little noisy but the music was so wonderful, it did not matter one bit. I'm also happy they were able to showcase local artists' talents! Overall, amazing experience despite the initial hiccup. I will make sure to come back again!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thanks for feeding us! The drinks and service were perfect — no wait at all, and I even made it back to work on time for my lunch break. Big thanks to Marillo for the amazing food! The breakfast bacon tacos were super delicious. He really made my experience great. I highly recommend this place.
Holy…. 1 word = amazing. Stopped in for a coffee and breakfast and boy was I happily surprised! This place knows how to make coffee! I got the fall special maple cheesecake and an omelette. The coffee was so good I got two. Yes, I had coffee jitters the rest of the day but it was well worth it.
Very cute place! I loved that it had plenty of seating both outdoor & indoor! The workers were very helpful and attentive with giving my friend & I recommendations. I had the chipotle club sandwich and my friend had the buffalo wrap, and they were both good! I also tried the apple pie chai, there wasn’t much of an apple pie taste but it was still good! I’d love to return for their jazz night, it seems like it’ll be a chill vibe! I would definitely recommend giving this place a try!
Hidden gem in the design district with indoor and outdoor seating. Some of the most creative drinks I’ve seen, similar to Native Coffee or Asian boba spots. Lots of outlets available as well as WiFi. They use Edison coffee roasters for all their coffee and have a number of non-caffeinated and matcha options. You can tell a lot of work is put into creating the best beverage and vibe. Would highly recommend for the drinks; food itself seemed mid. Good for gatherings — outside area has connect 4 and inside has board games.
This whiskey coffee bar is a hidden gem that deserves all the stars! From the moment I walked in, the vibe was unbeatable—warm, inviting, and effortlessly stylish. The blend of rich coffee aromas and the subtle smokiness of aged whiskey creates an atmosphere that’s both cozy and sophisticated. What truly sets this place apart is the staff. Knowledgeable, passionate, and genuinely friendly, they made me feel like a regular even on my first visit. Whether you’re craving a velvety latte in the morning or a smoky old-fashioned (with a coffee twist!) at night, this spot nails it every time.
My type of place. Omg!!!!! I have been missing out!!!! My brother R. Holis has been trying to get me here for a year. Well, I finally made it and I’ll be returning over and over and over again. My chicken tortilla soup was nice fresh and served HOT as soup should be served. I’ve had two cocktails so far. The Botanica and a H something spritzer. Both cocktails were top notch. Drinks are made with great intention and detail. I mean I’m hooked!! Espresso martini will be my night cap as I jam to the music once it starts. I may update you all on that. What keeps the service for being 5 stars for me is, I would like to add that while the servers are all very friendly. It would be nice to be greeted/acknowledged upon arrival. This was my first time. I also met a few other ladies who asked me how it works far as being served. It was their first time as well. I shared with them to go to the bar to place their order. I raved over everything I had. They placed similar orders and are also enjoying! Great place all overall!
I was looking for a place to have coffee while waiting to pick up my daughter and triumphs looked really cool. I am glad that I went. They make a good flat white! Lots of espresso coffees available. Although I couldn’t enjoy it, their bar was awesome. They have an amazing bourbon selection. Their cocktails looked amazing and their bar staff were attentive. I will definitely be back when I visit Dallas
A great Chicago type bar in the middle of a quiet street in the design district. We did a tour of top espresso martinis and this place was pretty great. We tried the traditional version and preferred the bourbon pecan version. We happened to go on a night with live jazz music which just made it over the top great. Not much seating inside but plenty of patio space although the scenery might be the last thing to focus on and be taken away by great conversation with your group of friends. Flip side: parking is a little challenging if busy and don’t recall them having any larger food options except for charcuterie and bagels which could be expected by some looking to dine here as well.
Chill vibes, live music but not as jazzy as I thought it would be for a jazz bar. It sounded like the music you hear at Chipotle. Regardless, it was nice. Lots of sitting space outside, with some games. Cocktails were on point and my party had a great night. Best thing was that valet parking was complementary, still take some cash for a tip. You can also park
Very nice coffee shop. The layout is beautiful and there’s plenty of space and seating(indoors/outdoors). I came in the morning for a coffee and a breakfast item. Both were very good. However, the service could be better. One of the guys wasn’t very welcoming, which did make the overall experience less than excellent. Also, it took about 15 minutes to get my breakfast taco. The place wasn’t very busy at the time. Others also waited for about the same time. Perhaps it was an off day. It happens. As such, I’ll be returning. It’s a shop that has a lot going for it.
Triumphs was a lovely location. It looked like they were setting up for live music when we stopped in. I ordered the hot chocolate which I find rarely good in “coffee shops”. However this hot chocolate was excellent! It came out beautifully, temperature was perfect and the foam was SO good!
I went at kind of an off hour so maybe my experience wasn't typical, but service was sub par. The barista was having a conversation with a woman for several minutes while I waited. Fine, I'm not in a hurry. I ordered and sat and waited for my drink. I watched a couple come in and wait to be noticed so they could order. Then they struggled with what to order because the menu wasn't clear or complete. The barista helped them through and they sat at the bar. I had considered going to ask about my drink because it had been a while, maybe they forgot? But my coffee finally came out and was brought to me. That was the best part of the customer service, I had expected to have to go get it from the bar. My boyfriend came in and wanted to order but struggled like the couple because of the menu issue. The young man who brought out my coffee showed him a QR code to scan. My boyfriend ordered an old fashioned and it was delicious. The coffee was great and the atmosphere was very nice. My guess is that, aside from the menu issue, the drink drink delays came from the staff preparing for their evening shift. Staff was setting up lighting, shifting seating, preparing the kitchen, etc. I'd come back during their peak hours to experience it as it should be. I'd also like to try the Kyoto style coffee. Not many places have it!
A place with great atmosphere and contemporary decor. The bar stands out as you walk in as it's very lively. We enjoyed the live jazz music as the musicians were very talented and dynamic. The cocktails are great, I had the Sour Negroni and the Smooth Operator. Something to improve was the service as it took a while for the staff to acknowledge our presence and take our order and then there was a delay with the drinks.
I recently came here, sat on the outside patio and it was a fun vibe. There was a live band playing so they added a $2 live band service fee to every guest I was with even though we stayed outside which we weren’t psyched about. The food was excellent. Coffee was great as well. Spent $60 on three coffees and two apps. Our waiter wasn’t the best and asked for our card to pay out right after we ordered with him, which was odd and felt as though we were being rushed out. The food was worth it and I wouldn’t mind going back. Maybe the next experience will be better.
The vibes were great, went on a Friday and got to hear the live music. I got one of the bagel bites and they were delicious. However, the quality of my drinks didn't really reflect the price. I paid $17-$22 for these and it's not really worth it. Can get a decent espresso martini elsewhere without emptying your wallet. The blueberry mule felt like I was sucking on ginger, it was so strong. The triumph espresso martini was alright, not the greatest. I did really like the other coffee cocktail they had, that one was really good. Would I go again? Probably just to go to music night and get a single drink.
